Exceptionally rude customer service. I signed up for a $75 slip to store my boat since the $45 slips next door were taken and they are now charging $10 over my original quote. You’d think that this job would be easy and mellow but almost every experience I’ve had here hasn’t been the best.

I can’t believe my experience. Agreed to pay a price for storage. 2 months later I get an email that they are over doubling the fee. I go into the store and the guy who owns it was super super rude. He told me to stop talking because he was busy...and that obviously I don’t check my CC statements because that’s what they charged me last month (I don’t check my statements...but I was charged to correct amount). The owner said that an employee made a mistake, and that’s cool...I get it. But own the mistake. APOLOGIZE that I have to take MY TIME to fix your mistake. Also, the place next door was $45 a month...he is charging me $78 a month. That is quite the difference. Save yourself the trouble...just go next door.

For our adventure to the Wheel of Misfortune you have to park here if you dont want to park on the street. There are signs clearly marked for those wanting to use the space just for the mine parking.Upon entering the store the gentleman was friendly answering questions we had re; some history of the little hike, and ringing up our goodies that we thought we needed. It reminded me of a general store honestly.Interior is a little bit of everything. And if they dont have what you need, I am pretty sure they will point you in the direction of where to find it. They rent space for RVS, BOATS, Vehicles, and they rent out Jet-skis and other fun toys for the lake. This place has petrol as well. One-stop shopI would def recommend - the customer service was very on point. The price for parking was only $5.00 so that was beyond reasonable. Other places around town can get pretty pricey. Dont forget to put your ticket in the window after you purchase.

I go there for fishing supplies, anchovies are the ticket especially when shore fishing. Dave only sells stuff that works, nice people and good advice 🎣 great selection of Allen Cole plugs

The owner is RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!. Seems nice until you ask him a question he does not want to answer. Thats when he gets nasty and his take it or leave it attitude comes out. Place is not safe for RVs and the owner could care less!! I informed the owner that someone was trying to break into my RV while in storage and he rudely told me that it was probable a drunken neighbor of mine. No security cameras in the storage area. Store at at your own risk!

The guys here helped me immensely when I clipped the back of my RV on a pole. They really took care of me and helped me out of a pickle. I appreciate that they went above and beyond!

Ive been doing business with Laker Plaza for years and find Dave to be as genuine as any individual. A heart of gold, however, not a man to be taken advantage. As long as people say and do what is expected, Dave will go out of his way to help. Ive seen him give fishing poles to children so they can enjoy their day on the lake. He has offered a cold drink to one who may not be able to afford one. Understanding that he is running a business and has rental agreements on the spaces he rents and only expects those who rent from him to respect the contract and his property, does not seem too much to ask. Subtle, yes; but not without his conviction to the business. Seven days per week and long hours, yet Dave is there to serve the public. A little respect for him is not too much to ask.

I paid and they wont acknowledge the payment they just charging late and it should a credit of 50.00

Be ready to encounter a very strange person when you do business with this place. Sometimes he is cool, friendly, and down to earth. Other times, he curses at customers and runs them out the door claiming he doesnt need the money.I brought my jet skis into the Laker and stored them for 3 months at the rate of $150. The owner convinced me to renew, then the next time I went to bring my skis in and drop them off, he cursed at me. I had added a ski to my trailer and forgot to go into the office to let him know that I had another ski on my trailer. I called him about 10 minutes after leaving, hoping to inform him that I had left my trailer there with a new ski. Dave proceeded to curse at me wildly, all because I didnt stop in and tell him vs the phone call I was making.I quickly turned around, grabbed my jet skis, and will never return.

Terrible service – I just wanted to post a warning to any boaters or fisherman that frequent the Laker Plaza. I was their today asking them for help in selling a boat in front of their store. I was speaking with the owner Dave about the boat, when he became extremely aggresive. He began cussing and swearing, f bombs and a holes, for little to know reason, to the point I almost felt concerned for my safety, so I immediately left. This sucks because I frequented this place for bait and various other items before going to the lake. I would much ragher support small business like Laker Plaza but with this nutcase aorund I will never step foot in that place again and now I go to Wal Mart where people behave with some sanity. I think this guy may have been on drugs, so whats it worth stay away from this place the owner is very unstable!!
