We had our pool opened since July, and I must say that we just love it. It took longer than expected to complete, but in light of the pandemic, I wasnt surprised as the subcontractors struggle to keep guys employed. The pool itself is gorgeous, and weve been in nearly every day since it opened! There are so many pros to a fiberglass pool, such as the color options, the fewer chemicals you will need, to being able to pick an appropriate size for your space (concrete guys want to take up your whole yard to meet their minimum).
The lady named Heather was very nice the pool i picked was a good price for the size, Heather gave me quite a bit of discounts and the customer service was amazing. The only concern I had was Heather did not wear a mask. Overall everything was amazing!
Worked with a gentleman named Tim. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He made the process easy to understand. I am very grateful. Thank you Renaissance Pools and Tim for making the experience pleasant.
Danny was knowledgeable on Spas very friendly! Would recommend
Not even the actual GC, they subcontract the subcontractors and only take cash. nasty practice methods, go buy the dang pool yourself and hire a real GC it will save you 20k!!
I signed my contract with Tim in December. It’s now July, Tim refuses to talk with me on the phone and won’t produce an order form for my pool form. Feels like I’m being strung along because I’m not the “car dealership owner”. Tim refuses to put me in contact with his supervisor. Fear is a horrible thing.Don’t sign a contract with Tim. Run to anyone else if you want a pool in a timely fashion
OUTSTANDING!!! From the very first visit to Renaissance Pools we knew this was the right choice! The staff was knowledgeable and well informed on both the ordinary concrete pools vs. the amazingly durable and strikingly beautiful Viking advanced composite pools! After learning about the differences between the two types of pools...why would anyone go with a concrete pool? The annual cost savings with chemicals, pool maintenance & upkeep alone is dramatic in itself. There is an extensive list of available options to customize your pool from the shape to color and mosaic inlays; and again No Maintenance! Jim, Heather and the staff were amazing to deal with from start to finish! One of the best features is the Safety Ledge along the perimeter that is standard on all Viking pools! The time frame from start to finish was less than 60 days, considering all of the additional upgrades we did to the back yard! No hidden costs, NO high pressure sales and the pool package was complete. We look forward to many years of enjoyment with our maintenance free Renaissance Pool! Thanks to Jim & Heather!!!
We had an excellent experience at Renaissance Pools. The service was amazing. They had a calming low key vibe with no hype.We were given excellent service and lots of extras and a huge discount off the original price. Our hot tub was bought and delivered in less than ONE WEEK!!!I would definitely refer them to my friends and buy from them again.
Worst customer service. No communication or updates. Signed contract in July 2020 with estimated completion date of Jan 2021. It is now 2 months past the estimated completion date and still no workable pool. Always using the COvid excuse, but that should not be used for how they run their business. No one else to talk to in the company as they will only let you talk to your rep. We know we signed up during covid times but why would they ask us to clear out our yard in July (which has only been generating dust and unable to use to entertain guest), had a big hole in our yard for months. Pool shell didnt come in until Feb. They just laid the concrete for the decking a week ago and now we wait for them to finish the job. They never contact us when they will be coming to do any job. They will only tell you to leave the backyard gate open as they will just come in when they want. Its frustrating and disgusting how they operate their business. Now that I am asking for a little bit of feed back from them, Tim gives me an attitude that that is not what they do. And he had the nerve to hang up on me. Well, well see about that.SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
It has now been 3 years our Renaissance Pool was installed and it is even better than I had hoped. There is little maintenance and no up keep.... re-plastering no, lots of expensive chemicals no, and expensive pool maintenance guy no! This pool lives up to expectations and far beyond. For my money this is the best pool in the business, WOW....WOW......WOW......what an outstanding experience......from our first visit we felt welcomed and were treated like family! We knew from the start a Renaissance Pool was for us. Low maintenance and very low chemical use. Heather Sage our sales rep and her dad Jim were as excited as we were in picking out the right pool for us, as well as picking out the right options (auto fill, auto clean) as there are alot to choose from; telling us not to waste our money on a particular option. We ordered our pool and the color was just as we wanted. The mosaics we ordered, placed just as we wanted them, my husband is very particular as he had provided a diagram of the placement of the mosaics. From the day we ordered our pool to the completion (final inspection from the county) it was 60 days. There were a few delays from weather and inspections from the county or it would have been done sooner. The work crew who did the digging were great guys. The sub-contractors (electrical, concrete) were all great to work with and did an excellent job, the whole project exceeded our expectations and looks amazing. We look forward to many years of enjoyment from our Renaissance Pool! We would highly recommend Renaissance Pools to our friends and family.
Don’t waste your time with this company! We were promised 8 weeks for our pool installation and it took 8 months. There was ALWAYS a problem and excuses for the delay. I read the bad reviews and I though if I stayed on top of things it would happen to me. Well it did. We love our pool after all the delays BUT it’s been a year and we haven’t received our deposit back and our decking is defective. I’ve been trying to contact Tanya since August! At first she said that they were doing the final accounting and that the contractor would call us to fix the decking but here it is January and NOTHING has been done. It’s no fault of mine because I have called and called and sent numerous emails. I will be calling the BBB and the Contract Licensing Board first thing tomorrow.
Great place to find your spa. Very professional.
Never work with this company! I paid them my deposit last October and they were supposed to start my pool in February. No one has ever called or got ahold of me. No work was done, and I can’t get them to return my money. They are a scam.
Stay away from these people they are not honest. We put a 2,000.00+ deposit on a spa and I had prostate surgery after. The Doctor told me that I could not use a tub,hot tub or ever go swimming again because of infection. I called Heather and no response from 6 calls finally after 6 emails I got a response. They could care less about my unforeseen condition. I offered to have them build a fire pit but all of a sudden they don’t do them even though they advertised so. I sent another email and no response again. They are money hungry people who once they get your money could care less about you. They didn’t even have the decency to offer anything. Even a 50% refund which I would have done. I’m 73 years old on a fixed income and can’t afford this loss. These people are the worst I have EVER dealt with. Beware and DON’T use these people. They can’t be trusted and are terrible business people who amaze me they are still in business. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE.
What nice people!! Very informative and beautiful showroom!
We are extremely happy with our pool. Tim, Ruben and the team are great to work with and install a quality product. You just need to be patient because the process can take awhile; especially if the weather slows the installation down. Fiberglass pools are easy to clean and the water is sparkling clear when you work on the chemistry of the water. We have had plaster pools in the past, but we like the fiberglass pool more. Renaissance will take care of you, but again, the overall process can take time.
These guys have been in Vegas since I can remember, so it’s one of the reasons I went to them when looking for a hot tub. They have a very good selection and options, the staff really knows what they are doing and could answer all my questions.. and I ask a lot of them. Lol.
I have had the pleasure of partnering with Jim, Tanya, Jose and Heather in 2012 with the installation of our first family pool. We investigated, asked colleagues and checked around. We knew we wanted a fiberglass pool and they took good care of us!Well, I am posting today because we are buying another pool from them for our new home! We realized today that the staff has not changed - honest, very kind and works hard. It is a small family business and while they are clearly juggling a lot they have never dropped the ball. They are genuine and really care about each client!Jose is amazing! Tanya is very flexible and Jim is a wealth of knowledge, a talker! Today, we paid our deposit and because we wanted to start the HOA process quickly (needed drawings) Jose immediately drove to our house to get measurements - the drawings will be completed with 24 hours. The amazing part is that he came to our house without any notice (I just asked how quickly) and it was immediate - they did it on Memorial Day holiday! They are a class act! Thanks so much!
I love the friendly atmosphere at Renaissance pools and spas! I was very impressed by Tim’s kind and helpful manner. Heather and Jim were also very friendly people. There is a great selection of spas here. I was very happy with the fact of how nice the employees were. I will be back again for future purchases and highly recommend them.
We knew if we were going to put in a pool, it would definitely be another Viking pool. Renaissance is the only dealer/installer in the LV Valley, so there really was no shopping around. Overall, our installation moved forward quickly and we are very pleased with the end result. Im not sure why, but several workers mentioned that our job was being pushed through fast for some reason. (Lucky us!!) The actual install only took about 6 or 7 weeks (Previous installations weve had were 3 months or more.) I ended up having to call the city myself though to get the final inspection done, but the inspection passed with no issues.
Visited store today for information on replacing and updating the lighting on our Viking fiberglass/ ceramic coated pool. We purchased the pool (Rockport model) in 2001 and this is the first maintenance we have done on the pool. To say these pools are low maintenance is not sufficient, closer to hardly any maintenance. Having had this pool for 17 years all we do is invest about 5 minutes a week to treat the pool and that’s it !! Best pool ever, use it everyday in the summer and looks just as beautiful as when we first got it. Who would want any other kind of pool ? Very helpful staff, haven’t dealt with them to much because we do not need to! Spend your time in the pool and not taking care of it.
I was searching for information on pools.. The owner was very pleasant 😊 and helpful.. She explained difference in pools.. They dont sale pools.. But there outdoor furniture is WONDERFUL
Not sure who the reviewer from month ago knew but we have been waiting since early April. And took 3 1/2 months to get pool delivered and it has been sitting in hole in backyard for 4 1/2 weeks and is estimated to be sitting for another month before we can get it finished and inspected. So its good to know they dont do first come first serve and others got to bypass the rest of us. Every step of the way there is no communication until you call/go in and complain. Then they will do next step and leave without a word. Was told 2 months start to finish and as soon As they got the money everything stopped. When asked why you here 1. At least you dont have a concrete pool they take 6 months. 2. Construction. 3. Were family run and we know what were doing. So buyer beware.
We bought a Clearwater Spa spring 2018. Sales staff helpful and install went good. However their service after sale stinks. We have had an ongoing problem with heater and circulation pump. Numerous phone calls and emails, no response. I even stopped in person and talked face to face about problem, was assured service would follow up. Zero follow up. One very unhappy customer.!$#@
We bought a pool from Jim about 20 years ago and it was a great experience. I just stopped by last week to ask a few questions about the care of the pool, and there was Jim. He took the time to answer all of our questions and give some great advice and very helpful information. BTW. When we purchased our pool it was installed and running in weeks, while our neighbors, waited months from another installer.
The Best Around can’t be beat.
Bought a hot tub here years ago, tried to get new head rests and jets from them, and the (I guess owners wife) if she ever takes her Ferrari or Bentley to work that day, cant be bothered with them, after we ordered them three times! Instead we ordered from Texas, an Online hottub company, got them in 2 days! Our new neighbors hired them to do there pool! Never, ever, will I ever recommend this company to Anyone, even my worst enemy! The old man is great, he can sell hot tubs all day long! But its the little things that make a company! And its what breaks them too! Hire someone that will work! Keep the trophy wife at home!
My new spa is amazing!! From looking, all the way to installation, the staff were very patient, friendly and caring! Jose in service took very great care to make sure we were setup properly, and was very proffesional during setup. My family and I highlyrecommend purchasing here, we looked around Vegas, but why buy used? Get a new spa or pool from folks who actually care, and not just looking to make a sale!! Mark
Lie after lie, super slow, excuses and poor communication. Our pool took over 8 months to complete our pool. When we signed our contract Renaissance put 6 months for an estimated completion, but Heather stated “it almost never takes that long”. Renaissance would only measure our yard after we put $1000 down and signed a contract which later I read is a law that they have to provide a scale drawing at the time the contract is signed per NRS. The scale drawing wasn’t completed until a month after we signed. Renaissance mislead us about the cost if they ran into un-digable material. Our biggest concern was running into rock. Heather said and showed us in the contract where the max additional fee for un-diggable material was $7700, but this was deceptive, another paragraph in the contract said when the max is reached a new rate is renegotiated. Three times during our project there was a 30 day period where no work was done, also another law violation and breech of the contract. Not one single time did anyone from Renaissance contact us to tell us what was going on with our project. I repeatedly made phone calls leaving messages for Heather to call, but not one time did she call back. I even had to stop in the store, probably 10 times, to ask questions, but Heather is rarely in and never returns messages and other employees were clueless to the status of our project and state, “Heather is handling your project so I can’t help.” Occasionally Heather would return emails, but more excuses than answers. Delay excuses we received from Renaissance were: the pool was shipped back to Viking twice for defects, the city canceled the pool inspection, rain, we stopped doing business with Leasure pools because they were unreliable. They talk a good game when you sign contracts and tell you what you want to hear when you complain, but they continue to be unhelpful. Renaissance only has 4 employees that complete the actual work other than electrical and concrete which are subcontracted. Ruben and his crew are great, however it is obvious they have more work than they can keep up on. Ruben actually told me he works 7 days a week 15 hours a day. I really can’t understand how they are still in business. If I were to do it again, I would hire another company. I could really go on and on, but bottom line don’t make the same mistake we did.Update: our pool have been completed for 9 months now and I still can’t get warranty documents and a lien release. For the past three months I have been told that I will get them any day.
Slow and Frustrating. In July 2018 we signed a contract for a Viking Fiberglass pool with the understanding that it would take 4-8 weeks for installation. We expected the pool to be done mid December but come November nothing had happened. After many follow up phone calls they finally pulled permits in November, dug the pool in January 2019, delivered an installed sand in February, Fiberglass shell delivered in May and filled with water, concrete and pumps installed in June, and Final inspection and first swim July 2019.In their defense, the tractor was in the shop in December, it rained a few times in January, Viking delivered the wrong pool in March, and Las Vegas construction was unexpectedly booming this last year.
The owner seemed honest and friendly the first day we were in. His daughter was awesome! They have many years of knowledge and treat customers well on the first visit. Be very cautious and DO NOT sign anything unless you have done your research and are 100% convinced that you want to deal with this company. Our follow up visits were not as wonderful. They promised us verbally that they did not need our $1000 and would WAIT before they did anything else. Then the lies started.
I purchased a large set of steps for my spa consisting of 3 steps leading up to a platform with a handrail on one side of the steps and on two sides of the platform. I did this so that entry and exit of the spa would be much safer. Two small steps were provided with the Cantabria Spa purchased from Paddock Pools. The owner of Renaissance Pools sold me the assembled spa steps in his showroom, which he said was his last one in stock. He previously sold the other 5 he had unassembled in boxes. Since it was winter time, he said he would not order any more steps until spring time. Fortunately, I had my Honda Ridgeline truck and was able transport the assembled steps home for placement next to my spa. The owner and his dog were very friendly. He helped to load the steps into my truck and tie it down to the truck bed. I recommend this place for pool, spa and steps purchases.
Large inventory of pool and spas. Friendly and knowledgeable staff answerrd all my questions. I felt very comfortable.
If I could give them zero stars I would. They have the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. We put down a $1,000 deposit on a pool so they would come out and look at our backyard and let us know what our options are (every other company I know does this for free). They told us they would get back to us in a week. A week and a half later we hadnt heard anything and they werent returning our phone calls. My husband finally went in to let them know wed changed our minds about the pool and we wanted a refund (since they had literally spent 20 minutes tops just measuring our backyard and nothing else). We have called them, e-mailed, and stopped by their establishment several times and the only response we have ever received is that our case was under review and we would hear back from them in a couple of days. That was July 18th... almost a month and a half ago. Dont even waste your time or money with this company.
These guys are the real deal - they have a ton of spas in stock & really understand and care about the quality. They have the staff to handle delivery & service. I could tell when I met with Jim that he has been in the business for a long time & really understands the value of a quality spa... Bullfrog Spas is their main brand & they have one opened up to really show how they are made.
We decided to go with renaissance pools due to wanting a fiberglass pool. We read a lot of negative reviews but, our experiance when we walked in was very pleasant. We decided to give them a try and i have to say that we have not experienced any of the issues that any of the other people had. It has been a very pleasurable experiance so far. The pool is in and waiting to be delieverd and i cant wait to see it in our ground within the next couple of weeks.I dont know what others expectations are but mine have been met and exceeded to this point. The process is just that a process and you have to believe in it. So far it has been roughly 4 months but we were prepared to wait 6 given the signed contract. Heather has been great and a pleasure to work with throughout thia whole process.I would have to say dont listen to the bad reviews but go in and find out for yourself.
My mom has gotten the worst customer service. Very disappointing
Were in the process of buying a Viking fiberglass pool. So far, were totally impressed with the product; lifetime guarantee, low maintenance, fresh water/no chemicals! Will update later on install.
This is the place to buy anything with pools or Jacuzzis. The staff is triple AAA and very knowledgable and great to deal with
Our first visit to their store went smoothly, but everything went downhill from there. We shopped around a bit, decided we really wanted a certain fiberglass pool model that Renaissance carried, so we later called to see if someone could come out and measure and make sure everything (pool, equipment, etc) would fit and to confirm the job was doable. We had a hard time getting someone to call us back, which should have been the first red flag, but we persisted. Finally someone called us back and and we were told they already looked at satellite photos of our property and the pool we wanted would not fit due to laws concerning how far away from the living structure the pool had to be (5 feet from living structure/windows). This confused us as another pool company who actually came out to measure told us we only needed 3 feet, which was exactly the amount of space we had to spare. We told them we thought it was a mistake and asked if someone could come out and take a look. They refused, so we did some of our own research. What we discovered is the law requires 3 feet of space between our structure and pool for our particular property, because what you cant tell from satellite photos is the structure theyre looking at was just a patio covering, not the house. If it was part of the house/living structure, which is what they were incorrectly assuming, we would require 5 feet but since its just a cover, not part of the actual house, 3 feet is all wed need, which means the pool would fit. We tried explaining that to them several times and they kept arguing. Finally they admitted yes, they were wrong and 3 feet was all wed need but they remained uncooperative and refused to send someone out to our house before we put a down payment on the pool. What?? Then we were put on hold, and ultimately hung up on while we waited. So why were we even putting this much effort into a company who was giving us so many issues from the very start? Theyre the only company in Vegas that sells the particular fiberglass pool model we wanted. Otherwise we would have crossed them off of our list at the very beginning when we were having a hard time getting them to call us back. I cant imagine how difficult it would be to get assistance from them if we had a warranty issue when theyre being this uncooperative with us when we are trying to give them money! Needless to say, we gave up on that particular model. Not worth dealing with a company like this.
Amazing low pressure sales experience! We will be back to do business.
Heather is super helpful and knowledgeable, warm and funny and they have been in the pool/spa business for decades.
A pleasure to do business with. Very knowledgable staff.Even open on Sundays.
Seems this company will NOT deal with you once your warranty runs out.i was told i will have to wait 3-4 months or after the summer rush.
Very Friendly staff. No stress.
Great pools and service
Friendly and no-pressure info-- they love to talk pools!
God bless yourself.
Fantastic service :)
Would not buy from again.
