Kinda reminded Coffee & Plants (in Pasadena) but with a MUCH better vibe, way superior service & less pretentious.ITEMS ORDERED:Iced AmericanoMermaid Latte (w/ almond milk)TASTE:Iced Americano was a well made Americano & one of the better versions of this drink Ive had. Good flavor from the coffee beans they use there & appropriate strength.Honestly only really came here because the gf wanted the very Instagramable Mermaid Latte. Even the very nice employee called it highly Instagramable.Mermaid Latte taste like blue (almond) milk with maybe a subtle floral flavor. I wouldnt get it myself, but the gf liked it fine. Plus #aestheticsSERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING:Service was some of the best Ive had at a coffee shop. & Im at coffee shops all the time. The guy just seemed very genuine, welcoming & friendly. Seemed like he was also training a new employee, so he was really on top of it.Its a fairly narrow interior with minimal seating. But theres some outside seating available as well.They are located off Hermosa Ave, directly across from a parking lot.Parking is interesting since youre so close to the beach from here. Theres a lot across the street which Im pretty sure is paid. I got lucky & parked right in front in a 15min spot. Street parking besides that looks to all be metered.I saw on a wall a outside it said neighborhood coffee shop & I really got that vibe here in all the best ways. Id return back when Im in the area.

Awesome little community coffee shop in the heart of Hermosa Beach. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Large selection of drinks including Chagaccino, espresso and tonic, Turkish coffee, etc. Lots of sweet treats, too (pistachio baklava is amazing!) If youre ever in the area, its worth checking out.

Jason was phenomenal! I came in right at close from a long bike ride & not only was he pleasant (and patient) but lead me in the right direction, didn’t make me feel rushed, & made the best* americano. Highly recommend all around- service & quality of product.Lots of other options looked yummy aka can’t wait to return

Really cute local place! Street parking was easy on a Saturday morning but I mightve gotten lucky.I got an iced mocha with oatmilk and it was delicious. Not overly sweet, very smooth and creamy. My boyfriend got an iced Americano and it was fantastic. You could actually taste the notes in the espresso so theyre doing something right!Also I appreciate that everyone in the shop was masked and respecting social distance. I ordered ahead online so pickup was easy.

Great coffee and awesome decor! The staff is so kind and helpful. It was a bit on the pricey side ($6 for a mocha) but it was worth it for the positive atmosphere. Will definitely be a regular customer!

I met a friend for coffee. The business is clean and the owner was very friendly.Great tasting quality coffees. A bit expensive, however, probably because of the pandemic.Hermosa Beach is a beautiful beach town. Parking is difficult and expensive.Overall, it was a good experience.

Great coffee, great vibe!

I’m so glad I stumbled upon this lovely gem! I’ve grown tired of all the standard coffee chains and really love when I’m able to find a cute cafe with quality coffee. It’s vibrant and super welcoming, while taking all of the necessary precautions during these times. They make specialty coffees as well if you ask for recommendations. I had a dirty horchata iced latte and LOVED it! I really enjoyed their special of “Chaga” coffee, too. I can get super jittery after coffee but the benefits of Chaga make it so you feel relaxed yet energized. They accommodate with dairy free, etc. The owner is wonderful and so creative, she knows her coffee :) ALSO - the vegan and/or protein donuts ... YES! Zero added sugar and incorporates protein. I tried the dairy free glazed / sweet potato donuts. They have other gluten free, vegan, etc pastries as well. All within reasonable pricing! Oh, and the ocean is literally across the street. Definitely would come back and recommend :)

Really really enjoy coming here. We come here every weekend after surfing. At my last visit, I got the strawberry matcha latte and cream cheese guava crossiant. Sooo good! The matcha was perfectly smooth and not bitter at all. I absolutely loved the cream cheese guava crossiant. A little on the pricey side but worth it!

EAfter a two hour bike ride it’s really nice to have such a great red eye with and amazing gluten free banana bread. We also got a regular drip coffee so we can go back on our ride Denisse, the owner, is really nice and made sure we were doing ok. Great place with an ocean view
