I like the giant chain as it has good deals and a wide selection. However this time was different. I asked an employee to assist me with lifting a big dog food bag into my cart and asked if he could also help get it to my car as I have a disabled shoulder that doesn’t allow me to lift/push heavy objects. I was told that “sorry not my job” and they promptly walked away. Do better and be inclusive and helpful to folks with disabilities.

Camp Hill Giant is the flagship of all the Giants around here. Bigger and better than even Hershey. Starbucks, deli, Panda and a lot of other options to get food to go

My son and family live in Hershey PA I love Your Giant supermarket. Last time we were there we shopped and brung things back to New York. Your store is so clean. And the bakery items are great

Nearly accosted by a giant robot that looked like a tongue depressor dipped in dark chocolate. Although it was a bit startling, it did temporarily rouse me out of a deep compulsive thought, recounting that one night several years ago when a terrible boating accident ripped my life apart. I apologized to the robot for accidentally upending it with my shopping cart, but it was rather heavy to lift up. There was a googly eye affixed to resemble a face, most likely vandalism from a child shopper; its eye rolled back and forth, displaying its disapproval with my ineffectual efforts. I left feeling somewhat embarrassed, but I got a discount on Bulgarian yogurt at least.

A big local Giant food store with many options from food to self care, a bakery section is included and has pretty much everything someone could need.

This Giants honestly has some of the rudest customers. Youd think people who live in such a nice community would be happier. Thats why I travel over to the Meadows. However, the quality and staff here make it tolerable! Fabulous produce, baked breads and meats. Cant beat the prices and quality for sure!

I went to this Giant on the 24th & 25th of Oct ( 2020 ). Both days, I had bad encounters with store employee ( wht female, glasses,age probably mid 60s ) who worked in the beer section of store... very rude to my brother and I...and her customer service was just terrible both days.... I think her supervisor need to talk to her about her attitude... Both days she worked between the hours of 1 PM - 4 PM. Its SAD that people have to be so mean... IF she dont want to be nice to people then thats definitely not the place to be working.

Even now they have excellent selection of products.

GIANT is the best!!!!! This is the go to store in Central PA mainly because you cant go anywhere without a GIANT being 5 minutes away. For everything you can imagine you want they have it. Their beer isle is small but it packs a punch you can get PBR or Troegs and even some hard to find stuff. I always reccomend GIANT.

WOW! The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced at any store in my life. Literally, every single time after Ive shopped at this location (1250 Cocoa Ave, Hershey, PA 17033) I get home and notice that I was charged full price on some of the items that were supposed to have been marked down according to the tags in the store. Its never $10 or $20 so I usually let it go. However, this time I decided to check my receipt in the car before leaving, noticed they charged full price for a tub of Tillamook ice cream that was marked down 50%. So I go back and politely explain to Tammy, the cashier, what had happened and that I would like the balance back or a refund. She gave me a look of disgust and then rudely told me that theres nothing that she can do about it and that I was just going to have to live with it since no one was at customer service. A perplexed pause probably occurred as I was processing her response, but with my manners still in tact, I explained that I either needed a refund or the balance back since this happens to me every time I shop there, and that if she couldnt help me Id like to speak to a manager or someone who could. She then simply turned around and flat out ignored me. Following this, I did ask her and a minute later her colleague (who had come over for a chat) for her name so I could leave a review. Still ignored by Tammy. The colleague then proceeded to tell me to get out and go. Eventually, one of the cashiers, a kind and helpful soul by the name of Collin, came over and offered to help me; apparently hes the one who attended the customer service training. He helped me in about 30 seconds and I was on my way. However, on my way out I made the fatal mistake of heading in the direction of going out the wrong way, by pure accident (after all the excitement), this prompted rude cashier #2, who goes by Alexis, to start literally shouting at me in front of all the checkout lines and customers that I was ridiculous, repeatedly as she was walking away. By far, hands down the most bizarre and unprofessional customer experience of my life! Unfortunately, I will have to bid so long and farewell to this GIANT as I will never spend another penny here. EVER. PS. on my way out I also spoke to the manager, who only offered a very half hearted apology after I explained to her what had happened, how it happens every time I shop there, and the rude and unprofessional service I had received for the audacity of me expecting to pay their advertised price for my groceries! Not once did I become belligerent or use uncouth language, I didnt insult anyone or try to make a scene. Unlike the aforementioned employees. I simply wanted to, for once, pay the amount they had advertised. STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!! WORST AND MOST UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED, BAR NONE!!!

Visiting for vacation. Central to everything. Very clean and friendly workers. Not use to the slower pace as we are from NY. But once I slowed down it was a nice walk through shopping experience

The best supermarket ever. I want one over here. You can take your husband he can sit down while you grocery shop. He can have lunch and drink beer. Fresh sushi made daily. If u go on Wednesdays is 50% off. Fresh Chinese food as well. Everything is well organized and cleaned. Did I tell u how much I love this supermarket deals galore

Friendly employees always helping you out. They have a great selection of items so they usually have what you need. They also sell beer and wine with an extraordinary amount of selection.

I think you must have nothing better to do since you probably are in quarantine and feel the need to take your problems out on our FRONT LINE WORKERS.. totally ridiculous. You need to grow up and stop taking your problems out in people just trying to help you!

Shopping at Giant is always a pleasure. They offer beer and wine sales, but be sure to have ID even if you are old as dirt (or decades older than the sales person). The produce section is always fresh and filled. Family favorite is the giant made quacamole. specialty departments are also well stocked, fresh and appealing.

Having recently moved from Northern Virginia to the Hershet area, I am sadly disappointed in the cleanliness of the store and the lack of selection of organic and plant based products. Wegmans and Harris Teeter are greatly missed.

Alexis told you politely that Collin would help you and to follow him to register 9. You rudely walked up to both Alexis and Tami got in both of there faces and demanded for there names. No one told you to get out. Do not lie and do not exaggerate. After Collin helped you you walked right up to tami and told her she was rude. When she was already crying by how you were treating her. Your behavior was unacceptable.

Visiting from out of town and liked looking at the different selections of foods. Of course, yall eat a lot of the same ole stuff we eat in Texas, but try telling the butcher what chilli meat is!🙄 🤣

I have been to a lot of giants and this one is no different, clean store with a friendly staff. Overall the well organized and the staff is always willing to help. The prices are a little higher then other places but you get a great place to shop.

This Giant is one of the worst I’ve been in. I feel like it’s always dirty. The floors don’t look clean. The parking lot has trash everywhere. The carts are always a mess. The staff aren’t very helpful or friendly. It’s a shame it can’t be managed better. If you ever been in a Whole Foods, the different is huge. I will drive 45 minutes to Lancaster to avoid shipping here.

This is a good place to grocery shop, but there was a worker on break smoking right next to the entrance. Smoke + newborn baby? Not a good mix.

Great Store. Giant is the best grocery store out there. I do shop at Redners too because it is just more convenient for me. But whenever I am out and near a Giant I will stop in. Plus I get the weekly ad to check out the deals.

What a horrible experience at Giant in Hershey today. As an at risk person I arrived at 6:00 am a special time they advertise from 6:00 am till 7:00 for at risk seniors. There PA system keeps saying there is plenty of paper goods in the supply chain please just take what you need so there is enough to go around. They are limiting there hours so they can restock. Yet there is not one roll of TP or paper towels. There deli has a Khios you put your order in on. My eyes and not that bad but I could not read the tiny print on that thing. I asked the attendant if she could just cut me a pound of chipped ham. She said no I had to use the Khios. The line to check out was all the way across the front of the store and around the corner of the dairy section. They brought in two cashiers to service the seniors this morning. I can see only opening every other line for social distancing but this was just rude. With the fortune they are making cutting their hours and selling product as fast as they stock it, you would think they would take a little better care of there customers. Maybe they cant get help. If they treat their employees anything like their customers I can see why.

Good selection of cheese. And always the yellow tag specials that everyones afraid to buy but I love them lol. Bourbon chicken at the Chinese kitchen is great. I couldnt find the ramen tonight though.

A fantastic grocery store with good produce, an exceptional healthy food section and a decent beer/wine garden. The only improvement I would make immediately would be including a larger selection of large craft beer bottles. I dont always want to buy a sixer, and find the big bottles preferable for a one night drinking choice.

Im changing my review. Almost every time I enter and leave the store employees are smoking outside the building. Is it too much to ask not to be hit in the face with cigarette smoke when I get my groceries? An appropriate smoking area should be designated if your customers matter.My review of the actual store remains the same.This is my go to grocery store. I do my prescriptions, weekly shopping and even wine on occasion. The store is clean and staff is helpful when needed. They have a pretty good produce selection that is fresh. I love that starbucks is also located inside.

If youre staying in Hershey and looking for snacks and foods for your hotel, come here. They have everything and the people are helpful, friendly, and happy to assist you. Its only about 10 min from the park Hotels (if that) and has everything!

Update: Decided to finally drop a star, we have been pretty disappointed with the produce at our local Giant for months now. Bumped into another customer recently as we we both dug through some fruit, we both agreed that we would start to look else where for fresh produce.I stop by this store often because of its convenient location. Usually can get in and out pretty quickly with exactly what I am looking for. I have never really had a bad experience here and I come several times a week.

Large store with Incredible varieties. Set up for self-serve customer. A helpful staff at counters. Open long hours. But they dont have Baggers anymore! Which has to put a lot of stress on the cashiers, people with kids & on older customers like myself, etc. I feel empathy for my Cashiers. A chain with that kind of profit should not cut employees to make money, makes for long lines.... Oh, and thats not good customer service, is it? Corporate Suits

I love Giant in Hershey. They have a wonderful Chinese food court, and lots of premade food items if you need a meal in a hurry. They have a Starbucks in the store also. Check out is fast and employees are very friendly.

They rarely are prepared with staff. Many times lines are full and they only have one or two registers open. It had good chinese food and everything is fresh, but it is a little inconvenient with wait times.

Giant is an excellent grocery store

Pharmacy overwhelmed today. 4 plus hours and I had to wait another 20 minutes for meds. Poor selection of chips. Martins was barely stocked.
