We have made numerous purchases from Sunrise Bakery over the Internet. This was our first in-store purchase while on a road trip from Maryland. Both we and our family and friends love the bakery items from the store especially the potica and cookies.

Great bread, lovely Cafe. The soft gingerbread cookies that I can get even when its not Christmas time is the best thing ever. And honestly the people running the place are Beyond Awesome. So kind and helpful, I cant compliment them enough.

Bakery has the best coffee and baked goods in Northern Minnesota!

2nd time back this week. The Jewish Strudel is marvelous! The banana flips are a blast from the past!

This is our Saturday morning routine. Coffee & donuts for the family. We moved here July 2020 & had to find a bakery to continue our tradition. They dont have a huge selection like we are used to but what they do have are amazing in flavor. The iced coffee is so good! We are extremely pleased with this bakery.

Clean and helpful friendly staff. The baked goods are amazing. Particularly love the banana flips and seven layer bars. Ooo and the almond shortbread cookies!Very affordable lunch sandwiches and so much tastier than convenience store food.

This is the best place to get great fresh pastry. Why back when I ran the restaurant at Minnesota Discovery Center, they filled our orders exactly the way we asked. It was a privilege to have worked with them.

The new Sunrise Bakery & Deli is even MORE AMAZING in their new location than before! Wow! The sandwiches are THE BEST EVER! I had the most delicious Reuben sandwich since, well, I cant even remember! Seriously. Their baked goods are as always, superior to any grocery store. (No comparison anywhere with their oatmeal bread with any I have had.) The staff is friendly. Your orders come out quickly. And the new space is beautiful, spacious and visually appealing. A comfortable space to eat GREAT food and relax with or without company! 5-Stars from me on a scale of 1 to 5!!

If you want something sweet and different, try their banana flips. And share one! Or make sure you have a dental cleaning lined up soon, because they are super sweet, but oh so worth it. 😋😋😋

I love there food wether it’s something sweet or a sandwich. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the goodies they are selling. The bakery is always clean and there always quick to serve you and get you on your way. Love this bakery it’s a must visit in Hibbing, MN.

This is the second year in a row that the cake i ordered for my wifes b-day is wrong. The picture i asked to have on it wasnt there. I asked for double the amount of raspberry filling, there isnt even the standard amount, barely any at all. But even more so, this cake is over baked to the point I cant even eat it. I will be returning it tomorrow. I am very disappointed.I am updating this and adding two stars. When I returned the cake, the two ladies that helped me were very kind, helpful, and sympathetic, and also agreed the cake was horrible. They gladly refunded me, and also added some treats, plus told me to pick something else Id like. I am more than happy with their handling the matter that I was very uncomfortable with. I never return anything, now a cake? It was just that bad.Thank you ladies for your how professional and courteous you were.

Wonderful place to get fresh pastries. Can also buy homemade pasta and so much more. Gotta check this place out.

One of the best places to stop in town. Decent prices on their menu with an excellent and tasty bakery for that inevitable sweet tooth!Even if yoi never stop in for lunch youd be doing yourself a disservice not at least checking out the bakery.

They have the best bakery on the iron range! In my opinion they have the best jelly donuts I have ever had! The jelly donuts have the best filling unlike the jell other bakerys use! Dont miss out on this little hometown gem!

Have you tried their world famous Potica? Its incredible. High quality ingredients and traditional flavors. Dont get me started on the banana flips or fried pies -amazing (but my Dad swears its all about the donuts)!

I ordered a potica to be sent to my aunt and uncle and the girl on the phone who took the order was over-the-top helpful and so friendly and nice, I felt very comfortable leaving my credit card number with her - sometimes, you never know. My aunt and uncle LOVED the potica they received and said it tasted just like grandmas. I will be ordering another loaf for Christmas!!

When you live in a small city, its a luxury to have a good bakery. At over 100 years old, Sunrise Bakery has earned its reputation as a local institution. Here you can get great breads, donuts and sweets, local fare (potica, etc.) and a daily lunch selection. Dont ever change, Sunrise Bakery.

Spectacular little bakery- found their made from scratch goods at local stores, too. Traditional Italian breads, potica, everything. Not surprising this has been an iron range staple for a century!

A very nice bakery with some hard to find items. I would love this place even more if they got rid of the Trans Fat in their sweets. Almost every item has a significant amount of this harmful fat.
