Apparently the initial install was not done correctly an the electrical service install was delayed for 6 weeks. So since no start up or testing of the system was done initially I called to request an inspection. Well there was water all over the floor since the condensate pump was installed correctly an several wires were attached incorrectly. I credit the service man for recognizing the defects an correcting them. Fortunately the system appears to be repaired since we are in the middle of the heating system.

Josh came to my house to do the annual maintenance on my AC & furnace. He explained everything he was doing in laymans terms. He was not rushed & did a very thorough job. Josh was very friendly & knowledgeable. He has a nice personality & is a great tech! I feel very confident that my AC & furnace are in good running condition with Josh doing the maintenance!! Mesaba Heating is the BEST!

We called them because we had yellow jackets in a venting duct, and needed it replaced. After the bees were taken care of by a pest company, Mesaba came and replaced the venting tube. We also had them clean our air ducts. They arrived promptly, and during the visit, the technician kept me informed the entire day. He was so professional, and explained everything to me, and listened to my questions and concerns kindly. From the moment I called regarding the beehive in the vent, they were very patient and professional. Their customer service and appreciation is a breath of fresh air. Thank you so much for everything you helped our family with.

The technician who came to perform routine maintenance on our furnace was excellent! He was knowledgeable and very polite and also said he was fairly new. I wish I could remember his name because he is outstanding!

Was the only place I called that I actually reached someone on the first call and was able to make an appointment for the next day to repair our central air. Technician Chris was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly (it matters who comes in your home for repairs, especially when you have toddlers and a dog). From scheduling, to appointment to billing, all went well.

Had an appointment 12-2pm last week. 1:30 came around and he hadnt shown up yet so i called into work and said i would be late. 2:15 i called mesaba and they said the tech had a family issue. Ok thats fine, but they could of called to tell me so i didnt have to be late to work. STRIKE 1. Rescheduled for thursday the 17th. They never showed up. I called and she said it was for next thursday, which wasnt right. STRIKE 2. So she said a tech could come tommorrow, friday the 18th. Never showed, called again and he was held up at another house. And couldnt make it again. No call once again. STRIKE 3.I tried to get somone else to come out after the 2nd no show/no call. But everyone else was booked weeks out. Now after dealing with these ppl and seeing how unprofessional, unreliable they are i see why they are not booked like the other ones. They are lucky they get 1 star, if 0 star was an option i would pick it. I Would never have them step foot in my house even if its -30 and my furnace quit and they were the only available ones. Save your self the hassle and pick someone else.

Our furnace stopped working on a very cold day on 1/25/21. I called for service and talked with Deann and she was very nice and helpful. She scheduled for a service tech to come to my home promptly. Chad arrived shortly after talking with Deann and serviced our furnace. Outstanding service and honest!! I highly recommend Mesaba HVAC. Buyer beware, these guys are dishonest! They tried to slip in cheaper lower BTU equipment than what they promised to install on their quote. I was quoted for 24K BTU, and they tried to slip in 20K BTU equipment.When I asked them to explain, they tried to rationalize that under certain conditions the lower BTU equipment was just as good. I asked them why the manufacturer did not rate the lower BTU equipment to that level - they had no answer. I asked them to install the equipment that they promised and they would not honor their proposal. I fired them on the spot for dishonest business practice. They cannot be trusted. Be sure to double check the equipment that they are intending to install to make sure it is what they promised on their Homeowners Agreement.

Always a good experience with Mesaba Heating. The staff is friendly and they are fast to respond. The technicians are well informed, knowledgeable and dont waste any time. I think the pricing for parts and labor is fair.

Cory the tech was very friendly and performed maintenance on my furnace. In the process he explained what he did and pointed out an issue with my propane pressure and corrected it. He also promoted a solace air filtration system (which I am interested in) and setup with a conference call with Randy to discuss air conditioning vs heat pump. He also determined that my heat exchanger has a recall on it.

Brandon was very helpful with our furnace replacement. We live in Virginia and needed to end our steam heating and he was a wonderful help with the change over and answered all of our questions. Thank you for the help!

I recently had a new furnace installed in my 100+ year old house. From the salesman to the office receptionist to the installation professionals they were friendly, courteous, knowledgable, and prompt. They answered questions and concerns clearly, did their work efficiently, and even put up with my three obnoxious dogs cheerfully! The staff were professional & friendly. I give three stars because the $79 Tune-up special turned out to be a safety check. The service men said we needed to pay extra to clean the furnace fan & burner. Next time Ill know to ask what Tune-up means when I call for an appointment.
