I order food for corporate lunches every week so I have some experience with the different restaurants in town. Be True is definitely our favorite. The food is just on a whole other level of delicious. I have spent a lot of time on the phone with their staff, namely Desiree and Ruth. They are both so lovely. The put so much care into each order and are so helpful and accommodating. Lastly, the menu has gluten free, dairy free, and vegan options that are all very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Upscale cafe. Very clean! High quality foods. Modern inside, cosy and cute outdoor seating patio. No busy car traffic. Great place to ride a bike to. Plenty of parking available.

Did you all just change your menu? Ive had food from here three times. Last 2 times was takeout BEFORE the menu/ website update. First time, i got the break slow sandwich, the menu did not state ham yet, yet there was ham in my sandwich. I always pay attention to menus because I DONT EAT PORK. Super disappointing, couldnt even eat comfortably after removing the ham because the stench and taste was still there and upset tummy after since I dont eat pork. Thank you, Be True.Second fail (11/14) at getting takeout was for a late lunch. I got the BBQ chicken, again, before the updates, i didnt see any mention of bacon. Again, ruined my meal and mood this time because i KNOW i didnt pay over$35 for some overpriced food and drinks just to get a surprise in my sandwich. Im actually glad to see the updates because now people will actually get what they order. Im never returning. Its a shame because i really like the staff and outdoor area but i wasted (literally threw away) enough money giving this place a chance.

Overall an fairly good restaurant. The chorizo burrito was flavorful and moist, though there was not much avocado. Stay far away from the chocolate croissant though; it was awful - bready and bland. It actually seemed like a frozen croissant that had been thawed 🥵

Be True is a fantastic place that makes great food. It doesnt show up when you search Hollister Restaurants because its currently labelled Coffee Shop instead of something like Brunch Restaurant, but the food is every bit as good as the drinks. Give this place a shot - I havent had a menu item yet that I didnt love.

This coffee shop is absolutely beautiful. You can tell the owners put a lot a thought into design & decor of this shop. The staff and atmosphere are really welcoming & the space they offer makes you want to just hang out and open a book. The coffee is delicious. The Iced White Mocha is definitely one of my favorites. Cant forget about their healthy & great tasting food. They offer both breakfast & lunch items. Over all nothing but a great experience from Be True Cafe!

Was charged $9 for a cold brew coffee that anywhere else I pay $4 for. I get one every day. Decided i would try this place but never again. They charge double thier competition across the street

The owners and workers of this establishment are nicest people youll ever meet and the drink options are even better! Ive been there almost everyday since I tried there iced white mocha. There new Haybaler Burrito is super good too highly reccomend trying it! Cant say anything bad about this place because of the great service and outstanding food/drinks 😁😊

Came here the other day for a coffee during business hours and it was closed. No note or sign. Just locked the door and turned off the lights. Even a UPS delivery slip on the door. I checked the hours on the door, said it should have been open. Check on google, said it should have been open. I called no one answered or left a recording stating they were closed. I get emergencies happen but leave a note or something and maybe take the sign out from the street saying you were open and to come in.

Cleanest, friendliest coffe place in town very friendly and so relaxing.......coffees and food are perfect.....

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Wish the coffee was better though.

Clean design and the drip coffee was significantly better than any chain coffee for the price. Ill have to come back for something out of that beautiful espresso machine.

Wide variety of vegetarian choices also in addition to the great preparation
