John Kim is by far the greatest sales consultant I had ever encountered with. He went above and beyond my expectation on every request, yet was very professional and courteous towards all my requests and questions. I was amazed not only by the quality and promptness of their service, but also for the value of the vehicle I purchased. Could not be happier!!! What an amazing experience with the Cutter Volvo crew here! My husband and Ive bought many cars in our lifetime, and this was the best car buying experience ever! We came to move our son to Hawaii for college and needed to get him his first reliable, affordable used car--which is hard to do here. Darryl Geralds was so helpful working with us over several days to find the right car and help us through the process. He works in the Waipahu location but accommodated us at the Honolulu location. He was so genuine and patient throughout that it was a pleasure working with him. He seemed to truly care that our son had the right vehicle to give us peace of mind. And even when we ran into glitches with the process, he and George, worked through it all. Darryl even stopped in on his day off to finalize the paperwork and get a photo of Josh with his car and wish him well. We absolutely and highly recommend working with Darryl and the Volvo crew. Iris, my sales associate was the best. Totally understood my needs and my limits. She hooked me up with a great lease on a V60... Ordinarily, I would never go to a Volvo dealer to find a car. Too expensive, right? Well, I saw a great deal for a used car online so I stopped in to Cutter Volvo. Steven Ingledue listened to what I wanted, and suggested an even better car for me. It was absolutely beautiful, two years newer, with fewer miles, and only $2000 more. And it had the blind-spot warning that I absolutely needed (he listens!) I had an excellent offer on my trade in, which made the $2000 upgrade even more acceptable. Steven was courteous, respectful of my feelings and preferences, and totally the kind of person I like to deal with. I would definitely see him again if I’m looking for another car.

Do not trust or deal with these people. After several attempts to purchase a Xc90 and spending the time test driving and research the car the sales man and sales manger showed us a price 10% over the price originally given and shown online. They not only were rude and argued with us when we tried to explain we would have been willing to pay that price but feel like we have been lied to and not give all of the information up front. It’s unfortunate they are the only Volvo dealer on island. It’s tremendously bad representation of the brand. We will go with a lessor car to work with a trustworthy dealership.

The new ownership is amazing. Georgios and his team, Darius and Kelsea, were a pleasure to work with. They definitely know their stuff, and take a lot of pride in their craft. I walked in JUST to peruse, and ended up driving away with a beautiful vehicle. Do I have buyers remorse? Absolutely not. I only have buyers rejoice... if there is such a thing. :)

Another great car buying experience at Cutter Volvo Honolulu! Last October we leased, and this time we bought. More important than the deal we received was the post-purchase customer service! Weve ran into some obstacles with the DMV and titling, and Cutter Volvo has been by our side making calls on our behalf. Im sure they have other great sales people but Darius was our guy last year and the same this year - I highly recommend him.

They removed my check engine light that has been on forever! But they told me it was the gas cap. I am relieved to know it wasnt anything serious. Did oil change, tire rotation, changed filters and fluid levels. Great experience. And I didnt know I could bring my truck at Volvo to be serviced!

Have been coming here since they open at this location. I like the location since it is more convenience for me than Waipahu one. Also, love customer service over the phone. Everytime I call to schedule, it has been great. But have to say the quality of service is not so much. I had engine coolant pipe replace because of coolant leak. Now it is not leaking but splashing inside the hood. Also paid for to inspect auto stop function because it hasnt been working and they said nothing wrong with it and still not working. So much for $100+ to not fix anything. Today, I scheduled for valet service. First, great idea and love that option. I scheduled for 8:00am pick up since my husband and I both have to work. They showed up at 9:09am.

Great Service from George and Tim! Dropped the numbers as much as possible. Made the deal work! Volvo is such a luxury vehicle for the price! Also great service for military members.

Went in to test drive a vehicle. The sales rep Cody did a fantastic job. Unfortunately while returning from the test drive I found the sales manager smoking a cigar while inspecting my trade in. Im sure it isnt customary for employees to smoke in a customers vehicle.

!!!DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!! I went in here because my 2006 Volvo with 100,000 miles was driving funny. I payed them $200 for a diagnostic check which would have been ok had they not tried to completely rip me off. They came back with a huge list of things that were wrong with the car and also said that I needed a new transmission for it to run properly and quoted me over $7500 for a car that is really only worth about $4000 and they then suggested that I trade my car in and upgrade to one of their new or used cars. I declined their offer and decided to wait until the mechanic who I regularly use was back in town to get a second opinion. When I went to him, he did a quick scan and found out that the transmission control module was faulty and he ordered a new one for around $250 said it would be around a $150 to do the labor and have it reprogrammed. The car runs fantastic! For $400, when Volvo tried to steal my money! I think that this is unlawful and immoral and you guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves! What a waste of $200 that could have been put towards someone who is actually trying to help people! I will be posting this here, as well as every social media outlet I have and asking that my friends share this as well so that other people do not get caught up in your scam to take their money! I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau and trying to reach out to whomever I can to shine a light on your shady practices. Youve tried to rip of the wrong person and I hope you get whats coming to you!

Came in to take a quick look for a wife’s suv, was greeted warmly and got to test drive a car within 10 mins .The car wasn’t for me, the sales person ( Darius) was amazing tho, polite patient and really willing to help in a very not crowding way .Thanks Darius for your time .

Worst experience with a dealership. We were already reluctant to take it there but it took 6 hours for them to fix nothing and it cost us 200 dollars. What a waist of a day. Very unprofessional.
