The options available at Bassett to create custom furnishings might be dizzying, but Jacob was the perfect guide. He quickly sussed out our needs and our style and guided us to figuring out our perfect choices. He is thorough, very bright, highly competent, and his experience is evident. His robust can-do attitude inspires confidence and he is pleasant to be around. I really cant say enough nice things about working with Jacob. Enthusiastically recommend!

Good selection of quality furniture. Amber was very helpful and I appreciated that she didn’t use high pressure sales techniques. It was easy to go in there, pick what we wanted, customize, and then pay 30% down. Expect at least a 10+ week wait for all orders. Prices are higher end, but I think the quality is worth it.

Just had a totally satisfactory experience at Bassett Furniture! We have been looking for a recliner that would be comfortable and enhance our living room at the same time. We went to literally almost every furniture store in and around the Huntsville area. We saw mostly furniture that was not all wood as we were looking for. We also got ignored most places. However, from the second we stepped foot in Bassett we were greeted and welcomed by Jacob immediately. We told him what we were looking for and he showed us our options and what colors we could get it in etc. He took the time with us that we needed and made sure to explain everything perfectly. Even though their prices are a little higher than most places, their furniture will exceed expectations and last for a very long time. You also can get exactly what you want in the exact color and style you are looking for. We ended up getting the all maple wood bedroom set in black (which will look so good with our gray/grey floors) and I cant wait for it to come in. The arrival time is actually as quick if not more quick than other furniture stores in the area. I do highly recommend this place based on our experience. My husband and I searched what felt like 100 different furniture stores for new couches for our home. We were having a very hard time finding well-made couches to fit his needs for back and hip support and my desire to have nice looking couches in our home. When we walked into Bassett, we were greeted and helped by the kindest employee. She was incredibly helpful throughout both of our visits, making sure she was available when we returned so that we had her undivided attention. She helped create a picture of what would be best considering the color and design within our home, as well as finding a couch that best fit our needs. It was like talking to a friend, not a salesperson, which is so rare to find! She was able to answer every question we had, as well as point us to what would best fit our needs. To Bassett, it wasnt about finding the most expensive couch to sell us. It was about what was best for us, and I couldnt have been more pleased with our experience.

This place has the most BEAUTIFUL pieces of furniture/home decor. I could literally just live in the store if that was an option. Jana was SO extremely wonderful with helping us find the perfect table for our “breakfast nook” and gave her expertise opinion on what would help our (smaller) open floor plan look more welcoming and BIGGER! Her pointers were golden nuggets of information on something my boyfriend and I are almost clueless about. The other staff members there are exceptional as well; super friendly and kind. We are building a house, and she asked to see the floor plan, asked what pieces we will be using, and what kind of decor. We wanted to purchase a leather sectional. I am a very indecisive person, and I told her kind of what I liked, but didn’t know what color to chose. There were so many options of leather to chose from. I did not feel overwhelmed when trying to pick the color of leather. She narrowed down the types of leather that would work for my family. I was very grateful for that. I visited the Huntsville store today. I want to thank Lynne Tomlin for greeting us and giving us great customer service! SHE IS AN AWESOME ASSET TO YOUR STORE. She took time with us and did not assume we would not buy. The store did not have what I was looking for but she still talked with me and was very attentive. When I walked in the store one particular consultant (dark colored hair brushed back into some kind of bun) just looked at me, got up out of her seat without even greeting me, walked to the other consultants who were sitting/standing behind the front counter and said or did something that made them laugh. I found this quite insulting. I am assuming she knew I wasnt going to buy anything, but she did not attempt to see as the others just looked at me, but your sweet Lynne addressed me. You should never judge a book by its cover. Bassett you may want to consider evaluating your other employees that were on duty Saturday evening. (Oct. 12)

My furniture arrived at the Bassett store one week after I ordered it. I scheduled delivery for two days later. Three persons delivered the furniture and they all were very courteous and professional. They set the furniture up and ensured it was spaced properly and worked properly. I bought a powered sofa, love seat, and recliner. I am very happy with the purchase and delivery. Jana, my salesperson, also did a fantastic job of explaining the many features of Bassett furniture, and was very helpful in explaining how to determine the proper size furniture for the space it will be used in. She was also very helpful and patient in working with me to choose the style and color of furniture that best suited my preferences.
