Good people, good food - not the best but good. They work really hard to be open to the community and organize a lot of events. Friendly staff. Theyve even helped some groups by opening the store up early for longer games on the weekend.

I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting Jeremy & Brandys great little gaming cafe. LOVE the food and the atmosphere!!! Its a great place to host business informal get-togethers because I own Cobalt Self-Defense Tactics and thats what we did for our awards ceremony. Service was excellent! The cafe was the perfect spot for our laid back gathering.

Terrible customer service. Stood around for about 15 minutes and watched 2 employees walk by me without asking if I needed assistance. One employee finally(after he got done smoking) came in and let me look at the pokemon card binder. The other employee then showed up and accused me of going behind the counter to grab the binder.... maybe they should learn on how to properly staff their store before accusing customers of going behind the counter. Also they cant tell the difference between reprint and original yu-gi-oh cards. Place is a joke. Terrible ownership. Terrible service. Terrible prices.

Excellent place to chill. Great staff. Catherine and Mikayle are some of the best in the biz. Theyre friendly, and so nice. I come for the food and the chatter. The Pheonix and the Pizza the Hut are my go to. Shakes are great too. Mikayle makes them delicious! Props to the folks running this place for making sure their employees are welcoming.

We stopped by for some fun while we were visiting the area. We had not been to a game shop in years so we were super excited. They had a very large selection of board games to sit and play. I was impressed they had a bunch of kids games and puzzles too which was nice for while we waited for my husbands and to figure out the rules of a new game. They even have a little cafe so you can get drinks and food as you play. Lots of people were there to play D&D but they have other stuff going on on different days. They also had board games for sale so we picked up a new one to take home with us. Prices were reasonable and the space was big and open. We enjoyed ourselves.

I bought some dice here the other day that were pretty lucky. Theyre not loaded dice, I was just trying to make a clever joke. Im probably the first one to make that joke.Lucky Dice Cafe has a decent selection of TTRPG supplies, board game stuffs, and food. And lots of tables. SO MANY TABLES. I mean like, there are several tables in the first area when you enter, right? But then theres actually another whole room of tables.And Im not 100% sure, but I think I saw yet a third room of tables past that one. They have plenty of space to do gaming.

This place has a plethora of games and space to play games! I have really enjoyed my time here and play in the Chaos GT 2018 tournament here. The food is GREAT! The staff are very helpful and enjoyable to interact with. The venue itself is clean and comfortable.

Great cafe. There were lot of people and children playing with indoor board games. Some people were drawing pictures with water-color. The food is also very good. They have some good local beers too.

I was looking for Gundam models for a Christmas present. The owner was very informative about what I needed to know to make a good selection. Highly recommend for really any sort of gaming needs.

I visited Lucky Dice for the first time not long ago, and have been back numerous times since. They have a good selection of games for sale and a nice mixture of the new hotness as well as some older classics. The owners and workers are always very friendly. I have not gotten to eat the food, due to allergy issues, but Ive heard from more than a few people that it is quite tasty. The environment is good, the prices are good, and the selection is, as well. Lucky Dice is now my FLGS (Friendly Local Game Store) of choice. I look forward to my next visit.

Pretty good place to game. Can get crowded at times on event days but the staff make this place worth the trip. Having a hobby store and Cafe is a pretty great combination and the food really puts this one on the board for me. I wish I was able to travel up more to try more of their menu, having things made in house in a rarity from what Im used to in a game store. Will be going back again soon if for nothing else than for the food.

Good selection of games and very nice staff. Havent tried the food, but they do have a light menu so you can have a nice outing sitting as playing games with friends. Only complaint is they seem to keep the a/c a little on the warm side. Definitely worth checking out if you like board games.

Lucky Dice is an up and coming gaming cafe! They have a decent selection of games and plenty of room to play them!Their menu offers a variety of hot and cold sandwiches with different chips and cookies.They have a back room you can use, schedule permitting, for more privacy for your game group if you wish.

I didnt particularly use the cafe part of Lucky Dice Cafe because its a dual function. Establishment they have a interesting but limited menu they carry both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks I believe just beer but thats you know thats cool for what the other part of their business is its a very wide open store with multiple tables for tabletop gaming groups to get together and socialize and play games like D&D or Magic the Gathering or any other tabletop game with models and stuff like that probably even Pokemon theres probably people still playing Pokemon so you know theyre open till 11 and theyre very courteous staff I really enjoyed myself and intend to be a repeat customer maybe multiple times a week

This place is absolutely blessed. As a person with extreme social anxiety it can be hard to find a place to be around other people and not panic. However the comforting friendly nature of the staff and gamers who come every Thursday is super amazing. Its really great to have such a positive environment. Plus the food is amazing! And the punny names of the sandwiches give me a chuckle no matter how many times I see them. Make sure to try the strawberry cheese cake cookies!!!

This a great place to eat and enjoy your hobbies. They are more so a card and figure games store. But they also sale Gundam models. The prices are also reasonable.They also have different competitions and a lot of room to play just about any table top game. I would suggest this place to anyone that wants a good place to eat and have something to do.

Kind of high prices with an owner that seems hard on the employees. Didnt really get a friendly vibe from him but his employees were nice. Asking the owner a question felt like I was bothering him despite it being a simple question asked politely.It sounded like they dont really know what they are doing with Magic the Gathering. The singles they had showcased were primarily bulk rares.Overall the store seems like a jack of all trades but master at none type of deal. My three stars were primarily for food/drink served.I would like to note that I really did like the actual gaming space and the cloth playmats they had. The owner should lighten up and be less eager to be rude to his employees verbally in front of several patrons.

I personally really like this place, my group reserve a table for every Sunday, the staff are nice, the food is decent, and the snacks are nicely priced. Overall its a nice and friendly atmosphere that I enjoy coming back to 5 hours every week. Though the reason I had to rate it 4/5 is because recently I thought the food quality has dipped a little and a couple times they forgot our reservation. Though this place is generally good at remembering reservations.

Lucky Dice Cafe is easily THE BEST game store in Huntsville. They have and do it all: tabletop RPGs, miniature wargaming, card games, board games, collectables and more! Personally, I enjoy their Sunday Adventurers League.Even better is that they have literally TONS of table space to play and a host of board games to borrow to just play.The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, not to mention knowledgeable about anything gaming related! Of note, Catherine is the hardest working person I have ever met, although being the employee Ive had the most interaction with, always helpful and always with a smile.I will never go anywhere else!

This place is a neat experience, a great place to go hang out and play whatever you want. You dont have to go far if you want some food, drinks, and adult beverages, with its in house cafe. There are also three different sections of rooms if you want a bit more privacy. They also have a small selection of merchandise.

We go to Lucky Dice on a weekly basis so for my daughters Dungeons & Dragons group. I like the atmosphere at LDC and the food is reasonably priced and tasty. This is a fun and affordable family hang out!

Great place to spend time with friends

Everything geek but with food available to order. Usually end up here every Saturday afternoon with the North Alabama Board Gamers group. Theres always all different kinds of things going on here. Whether youre a Pathfinder player, Dungeons and Dragons player, etc. Whether youre looking for new people, new games or youre just stopping in for something to eat. Walked in having had no idea it was a gaming cafe. Tho Im not a gamer I am very familiar with the culture and was impressed with the spacious layout. I had a reuben sandwich and a beer, my daughter had chicken noodle soup. Sandwich was slightly above average, chicken noodle soup was as well. What I really liked about the place was the notion that should I want to get involved in a tournament, I could also have a roast beef on marbled rye and a beer while I played. The staff was attentive and friendly. I intend to go back often.

It is a great place to get together with people for gaming. Their selection of games seem more for families with children. Gamers should bring their own. Saturday, 3:00-11:00, there are lots of gamers with games. Just come & join in.I went back yesterday, which was a Thursday, & was very disappointed due to the fact that they may have changed their hours. I have never tried to go there on a Thursday before, so I am not sure what the original hours were. They didnt open until 2:00 & I had made arrangements to meet there at 1:00. We needed to find elsewhere to play. Please let us know if you decide to go back to opening at noon. Would appreciate it.

Good food and a friendly atmosphere

I really hate to post a review like this.Im sure this is a great place to game, but when it comes to customer service (at least today) they were a little lacking.Given that they had a Magic tournament today, Id be willing to look past a bit of a slow response time, but not like this. I got to the store intending to buy a few MTG singles and ended up standing in front of the counter for something like twenty minutes, waiting to be noticed. Besides their chef, it would seem that every employee present today was currently in the middle of the aforementioned tournament.Eventually, I was asked if I needed anything, at which point an employee, slowly, made his way towards the counter from his pile of cards. The entire time that he was helping me (all of two minutes) I got the feeling that I wasnt quite welcome there, and was intruding upon his personal time.

Very nice accidental find incredibly clean this would stand up most in my mind the food quality was very good. I took their recommendation of the Reuben and loved it. About 15 minutes into my lunch, a group begin to pile into the game room. the shop offers comics, cards and comic memorabilia such as statues.

Loved this place! Doesnt have as much stock as some other hobby stores around, but it has good stock and the employees are really cool and helpful

They have plenty of tables for groups to sit at, and a nice array of games and gaming supplements. Noticeably mtg and miniatures. The food is a little pricey, but very tasty.
