Had to ask for a manager to get assistance with paint. Two employees were ignoring myself and another female customer. Seemed like they were not able to work alone. Manager was great help, but it took my time to wait for him when I should have been able to take care of business in the paint department quickly

I think we picked the hottest day of the year to go to Home Depot to get landscape rocks. There was no one to help us load the bags of rocks. The only positive to todays visit was David, the cashier. He offered us his work gloves to help us handle the incredibly hot metal cart. Nice man. I appreciated his kindness.

Had to wait to get some 2x4s cut. I needed them in 10.5 so that I could support my bed down the center. Only to be told the smallest they can cut is 12. Its for safety reasons. Then maybe you shouldnt offer to cut them at all. That is ridiculous.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE to say the least. We put an order in on the last week of June to be delivered to our house July 24 they never called to let us know they wouldn’t have it ready we had to keep calling to see what happened they said they didn’t get the product in. They gave us another date august 10 to have it we called the 11th and nothing yet! But they said for sure in September yet we had to start making payments on the tile we never have received and managers of the department were useless in helping! When we tried to cancel literally took us 4 days until they finally let us cancel! Called the 1800 number they were no help either on cancellation. We got a better deal at Floor & Decor in la Quinta and received the tile the next day !!

Rented a steam cleaner for tile and grout which it was recommended by the associate Isaac. Very satisfied with the results of the equipment and $$ paid!

I love Home Depots. I have shopped them all over the country and trust them. However, I had a negative experience at this one and I hope to offer some constructive criticism.A few weeks ago, I needed a scrap piece of lumber to place under my jack as I was working on my truck. So I went to the closest Home Depot, navigated to where the clearance lumber usually is and, sure enough, a cart that had a sign that said 70% off clearance lumber! After selecting a prime piece of less-than-prime lumber, the cashier told me they did not do clearance lumber anymore. I replied that there was indeed a clearance cart. The cashier went and got the lumber associate who came over and said the same to which I replied the same. I asked to speak to the manager who came over promptly and also said they did not do lumber clearance anymore. I said there was indeed a clearance cart and tried to imply that the industry standard is to keep the promise of any written word on signs even if that sign is a mistake. The manager still did not allow the 70% and said that the lumber I had selected was going to be trashed anyway. I asked if I could have it for free then. The manager said no and still offered resistance on the 70%. Either the manager got tired of dealing with me or realized that not selling lumber for cheap is better business than trashing it, because I did eventually get the lumber for the marked clearance.Regardless, I would like to make it known that this happened and that not holding to written word and precedence is poor handling of business. I did not at all enjoy having to fight for a discount that should have been easy-peasy.I will continue to shop Home Depots and probably even go to this one again, but I did not like this experience.

Victoria in the Appliance department was great in researching some information for a air- conditioning unit for my garage.

Store is always neat and tidy. They always greet with a warm welcome. The staff is helpful most of the time. I always feel at home when visiting this place.

This Home Depot needs to improve in their staff training and change management. I went to purchase underlayment to install vinyl flooring 1200sq ft, and to get some paint. I needed help locating the supplies and i needed someone to mix the paint. The gentleman covering in the paint section did not know how to work the ma June and splashed the paint everywhere. I asked two employees that where standing by the register gossiping and they blew me off. I asked to speak to management and Paulo was even more lost than his employees. Quality and range of products are great but management needs improvement.

We went to purchase some items that we needed for remodeling our home. The first guy who helped us was really nice and helpful. We were to pick up our items the next day. Well, we had to wait for more than 2 hours for them to finally get someone to help us. It was ridiculous!!!! Most of the employees were either sitting or just talking to other coworkers. VERY BAD COSTUMER SERVICE!!!!

Although they had a great selection of sheetrock.. they did not carry a 1/2 inch 4 x 4ft piece so i had to buy several 5/8 2x2 pieces

Tried calling the store multiple times before driving 30 miles to confirm if a item was currently in stock. The website stated limited supply. I either reached a person a customer service who then transferred me to plumbing, no one picked up, called the store back multiple times. Chronic ring, your call is important to us..., no answer. Today is my second day attempting to confirm product availability. Ill check with Lowes!

I was very pleasant. The store was clean and there where many sanitation stations available through the store. The cashier was very nice and helpful. I can always find what i need at this home depo. Thank you.

We ordered 2 brand new appliances for our house only to be refused installation which was pre paid because Home Depot failed to communicate that they don’t remove broken appliances that they installed themselves. The company failed to communicate that to us before making the appointment. No complaints about our tech except that he didn’t handle the situation well or professionally stating to my boyfriends face to “calm down” as he turned away from us to walk out of our house. Completely disrespectful & the wrong way to handle the situation. I understand he is just the tech, the delivery guy but no excuses. Then the Rep over the phone continues to argue with us stating they are now refusing to install period. I won’t be using Home Depot for appliance installation again it’s safe to say. I don’t recommend this company for anyone when it comes to the installation department. I recommend to take your business elsewhere.

Ok they need to do something with the spray paint cans. When buying you need wait tell a homedepo workers to come and scan their ID. They dont card you. So whats the point of waiting. Good place and all but the spray can issue.

Guy with Curly hair follows me out to the gardening register to make sure I paid for my hedge trimmer. I was in the middle of the doing my yard work when my trimmer went down. So wasnt wearing something nice. I believed I was profiled. He stood there behind the cashier with his arms crossed making sure I didnt steal the item...It felt uncomfortable..Sadly Ive been shopping there for 13 years and wont be returning..Ruined my day.

The Lead at customer service is no help. Their employees need better training, and since when is it ok to use profanity in Spanish at the counter by Homedepot employees.

Nothing but a whole lot of talk and no action. Very unprofessional. I was making a purchase of over $5000 and spoke to Assistant Manager Jose Lopez who talked a big story about there being no way my business would go to Lowe’s. I provided my list and heard nothing. Followed up speaking to Jennifer at the pro desk who sent me am estimate that was exactly the price found online. Then spoke to assistant manager Scott Perez who said he would take care of it. After hearing nothing again I called and was told no way to do anything with the prices. Meanwhile Lowe’s was fast to respond and provided a great discount. I tried twice to speak to Carl the general manager and both times was intercepted by Scott Perez. DO NOT waste your time. Lowe’s will now get all of my business which will likely be in excess of $10,000. I guess Home Depot does not need to compete. Go Lowe’s they will now get ALL my business for the coming decades. I will never walk into another Home Depot.

I visit Home Depot so often, they should give me stock in the company, lol. They all carry the same merchandise (pretty much), but its the staff that keeps me coming back. Im a regular in the Garden Department and the staff there is friendly and helpful. Its that way throughout the store. Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, plus landscaping rocks, mulch, garden soil, you name it, they probably have it! Love my friendly neighborhood Home Depot!

Used to be you could go to a home depot for knowledgeable help and then find what you need. Help was scarce, spent a half an hour searching for what i wanted then waiting at least another half hour waiting for my request for help then the help was really not very knowledgeable. In the end i had to settle for a half measure solution for what should have easy. I mean how hard should it be to find matching bolts, washers and nuts in a common size?

I Like going to this Home Depot because its closer to home, but there are always items from the garden center that are not in stock or in stock but not on the shelves...we sometimes have to Drive to the La Quinta store to purchase these items...please resolve this inconvenience!

I spend more time taking poor Quality built stuff back most is junk dont last but a few weeks. I dont know if other customers are having the same problem. First I thought it was a glitch in there products and that it was a one time thing but it seems its not. Home depot has a huge issue on there hands. They are going to have to decide if its worth keeping them sloppy Manufacturers, or if the cost of greed is worth customers turning away from there stores.

Most of you know Home Depot. This one is fairly typical. Todays visit was not great.First, they have removed their bike rack. Since I ride my bike to get small items, this means walking around the store with my bike. A real pain.Second, one busy Saturday there were several aisles blocked off, one where an item I needed was located. No employees in sight. I ended up wheeling my bike all the way across the the garden department. I was escorted back and to the closed area and got my washers. As I left, I saw the gates being removed.Leaving a significant area blocked off for no remaining reason in a busy store.That said, I found what I needed and headed for home, so it wasnt a really bad experience. Just average... so three stars.

Manager please manage your workers ... What happened to all the good employees who actually know something about construction and home improvement .These rude kids no nothing about that any of that .. Weed out the bad apples and get some people who are trustworthy with experience in home improvement.. Even Walmart has better people and there a supermarket.... Get good trustworthy people and your problems stop

Waiting in line for customer support. The girls behind the counter (2) seamed a bit over whelmed, the line that just kept on getting a bit longer. They seamed to have been trying there best but they did need help. Management was nowhere to be found. Saving a labor is not good when you have a store full of paying customers

We are frequent shoppers at Home depot and have had nothing but pleasant experiences at this location. Weve visit the other stores and always end up finding what we need and at a good cost at this one. Most importantly the customer service in Indio trumps that of any of the other locations here in the desert. The employees are attentive, helpful and are willing to go the extra mile. I cannot say the same for other locations. You can visit any other location a dozen times, and maybe one time (emphasis on maybe) someone will make eye contact with you and ask if you need help.At our most recent visit we purchased a grill and received stellar assistance from Aldo with the purchase, disassembly and loading. We are beyond satisfied with our past experiences with this location. Im going to ring the bell for Indio. Great job yall!

Lumber here is always a disaster here, Ive had multiple bad experiences here. Always one saw broken every time they go. Almost impossible to find the lumber guy everytime. Ive had one lumber guy that it took awhile to track, then made excuses as to why he couldnt cut what I wanted.Now everywhere else in the store is a nice experience usually fairly clean and great customer service everywhere else

So let me start out by saying this is one of the cleanest and most customer oriented Home Depot Ive ever been in! The manager Ernesto could be the most valuable asset to this Home Depot! Not sure if his bosses are reading this but if you are that man deserves a raise as well as a couple days extra on that vacation! I would say my reasons for leaving such a great review but I encourage you to go in and speak with the manager Ernesto yourself and you will figure it out.... thank you for solving my issues in store and also helping me with taking home the magnet that best suit my needs :-)

Poor customer service at flooring department

Attentive and helpful staff normally. It is seen that Home Depot has done a great job very carefully to offer the materials and tools that one would normally need in any project. And now with its online application, it is very opportune and powerful to know the availability of what one needs.

This Home Depot is usually ok, but...... there employees don’t seem to care. Don’t bother to say hi, you say hi, they stare at you. They seem to continuously have an issue with their specialty employees taking lunch at the same time instead of staggering them to cover. Lastly, the customer service desk tends to scramble around when you ask them to find you help. Waited 20 minutes to be told that the employees were both in lunch and couldn’t help me.

They had 5 out of 6 things I needed

Clean environment. Even the bathrooms are nice. The people in the garden area were very helpful. And even the people that watch the individuals using the self-checkout were very helpful. I was able to find what I needed very quickly and accurately.

I have spoken to the manager 3 times regarding a RV parked by their sheds. The RV has thrown out household trash, rotting lettuce, fruit, and the pile is getting bigger every day. He assured it we ould be taken care of, this is a health hazard. Also one of their reassembled sheds is being used as living quarters for homeless. It has clothes and food wrappers in it. The manager has lied repeatedly about handling the mess.

Visited the gardening department and all the plants were wilting, their soil was extremely dry except for the vegetable and herb section. This was very disappointing and I left without buying the item i originally visited for, because all the dead plants were just depressing.

Gary was wonderful. I was there for over an hour and he was patient, knowledgeable, and super nice. I love home depot 98 percent of the time and this was.one of those timesHis knowledge made it easier to make my decisions. See you soon!

Went in to buy some cedar fence boards for outdoor shelf. Tried to cut on their DIY bench. What a mess!!! Material everywhere no sharp saw or tape measure. Employee saved me and offered to cut on their saw. Very helpful but HD get your act together and fix up the bench.
