One of the most busiest Indian grocery store in Edison . We like shopping here, but it’s tough to get parking and also billing takes a long time . We like the products here and also the vegetables are fresh. Mostly we get all groceries and many varieties. Rice, idli rice, atta, pickles and you name it . They also sell lamps/diya during navrathri times and also sell various other things during festive season. Sweets, savories etc. customer service could be better . Overall we like this store ..
Nice place to shop, especially in morning hours. Everything is so well stocked and clean, obviously!Check-out process is quite fast because there are many registers.Cashiers are also friendly.More over they are not fussy about minimum amount for credit card so stay worry-free.But the aisles are narrow. Find it difficult to move around for buyers from both sides and their associates also stocking. Makes it crowded and uncomfortable.Quality and prices of fruits is not very great…
Overtime we have tried a lot of Indian groceries stores but this store has been the best. We find almost everything we need here at a good price as compared to other stores. Vegetables and fruits are plenty and fresh always. They keep mangoes (Mexican and sometimes Indian) when in season. Would recommend.
A neatly maintained Indian grocery store, at an accessible location. Even though the space is a bit cramped, they have done well to organize the stuff, so that all are easily accessible and seeable. Impressive collection of inventory, typical of any Patel brothers store. Despite the crowd, the checkout process was quick and the parking was not so difficult either.
Too good very fresh vegetables. Variety of rice bags and atta.
Good product selection. Great prices .
Good grocery store with lots of variety of food and other Indian, South Asian items. They have fresh fruits, vegetables and other cooked food also.
They’ve a great variety of Indian grocery but there is no one to help with finding and navigating through
The parking is so hard to get. Good Indian store overall.
Very huge Indian market. Almost a paradise for Indians to be in. Theres everything you want in there except clothes I think. But its very crowded and parking is a little tight.
We have visited the parking location, and there is not much available in comparison to this one. It had everything I needed to get, and introduced me to new and delicious foods to try! So much available, and pretty smooth process to get what I need, and get out! 👍👍👍👍👍
Congested isles, need more space for everyone to walk comfortably with carts. Prices of products seem to be as high as in other places....
Ghajab Indian grocery store. You name it they have it. Specialty is fresh produce.
The top shop to buy good quality products veggies and spices for a good price. Staff and Cashiers are very helpful and kind. You can find whole lot of goods that you cant buy at lot of other stores. Clean and well lit shop. Definitely going there every month. You guys are the best.
One if the better Indian grocery stores in Edison/Iselin. Their pricing is a bit steep. Theyd do so much better business if they lowered their prices.
Very busy indian grocery store. Very competitive prices. Better than most other such store in the area. I visit here almost daily.
Very good place for Indian groceries veg etc. Whenever I come from India i visit every week. Good people serving indian community.
Near. Everything was arranged brand wise. Loved it. More importantly they sell non expired goods. Which is great because most of the Indian stores put a sticker on the expiry dates to sell the snacks, not here.
Excellent store. Fresh groceries. Nice return policy.
Very good indian grocery store, all indian products
Great for Indian grocery and not too crowded.
Great varieties and reasonable price although it has gone up lately than previous years.
This place has fresh, reasonably priced groceries from back home, as well as fresh vegetables.
Since its one of the known Indian stores in US, you get all Indian groceries, spices and vegetables here. But again like any other Indian stores it lacks cleanliness.
So much collection of Indian food and fresh vegetables.Well organized and employees are very friendly to find some products. And always very busy. Also find childhood games.
Great as always, they take care of the fresh vegetables and all other grocery store needs to learn from them, great prices on freshly cooked Indian rotis, paratha great for taking out while traveling, although they could bring down the prices of corn oil, sun flower oil which was 21.99 it went up $35 somehow, also tea prices are doubled
This is a great place to go shopping, you can get almost everything Indian here, all in all a good place
Has more snack items than other patel brothers. For fresh produce its better to get from the one next to honest but for other snack items goto place. You fine every thing
Today I visited P B oaktree rd.Very good customer service & cashier Ms Maitri very helpful. Thx
Good variety and quick service.
Great deals, Great service, quality products, and clean. Been shopping for Years here. I enjoy a lot
Parking is horrible in this place. If I can avoid, I will.
Staff is helpful. Clean grocery.
Way to go for all economical Indian /Asian grocery shop at very good quality.
Good please for Indian groceries, clean.
It is located in the Oak tree road, Edison, NJ adjacent to Bhavani and Style gallery shop and opposite to Nalli Silks. Its a great place to shop all Indian veggies, fruits and groceries. Many Indian oinments are available like Volini, Monison, Burnol, etc.,. Also, Pooja items, idols are easily available here.
Crowded and busy. The parking lot and the store inside. But so many choices of Indian groceries. You will be overwhelmed with the spices and vegetables they have!!
Edison locations much cleaner than Jersey City one(which I hope health/food inspector visits due to cleanliness concerns). Edison locations have better stock and better quality vegetables.
Best Indian groceries. Fresh food. Carries multiple brands to choose from
Everything is fresh here, due to a high turnover.
Be prepared for the crowd during weekend and evening time.
Great place to buy all Indian groceries. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Bhumi is a great leader. Because of patel brothers never missed Indian food.. 🤗
Everything is pretty good but price tags are way jacked up bought very few stuff which should be between 100 to 150 but I end up paying 238 walmart is way cheaper .not coming back here again
Very nice market. Good produce. Extensive selection. Large freezer section. Plenty of free parking.
Awesome shopping. Not to be missed!
Wide array of fresh fruits, vegetables, dry ingredients and Indian products, including locally sourced produce, in season. Great place to procure healthy food & groceries for your family.
The parking is always tricky and some spots are very tight and entering and exiting from parking to street is also very tight. Sometimes cats line up on to street to enter parking. In order to buy here, visit at odd hours and good and large collections of food groceries.
Clean and organized-
All sorts of Indian grocery store with good prices
I love this store. Always clean and full of fresh vegetables. Having lived in USA over 30 years, I recall the early years when you had limited choice of Indian spices and vegetables. What a change. Now at Patel Brothers you can find anything you need and even more. Quality and prices are great. I am very happy with the way this store handled the covid pandemic. They shut down for 2 weeks and reopened with fresh supplies and safety measures in place. The cashiers always have a smile on their face and are helpful and quick. There are many choices to shop for Indian groceries, but this is the best.
I always go there for my grocery shopping. I like the store and staff.
Loved it. Clean and fresh
The staff is so friendly. I didnt know what I was looking for, I was just curious. Everyone was so kind and helpful! Store was clean! Thank you! Thank you! I will be back!
Very organized and fresh fruits and veggies
Patel Brothers itself is pretty good but my dad bought milk and the best before date was not even close but when we drank the milk it tasted really bad I mean the worst it can be as if it was spoiled and when we smelled it smelled even worse. It was like smelling trash! Maybe its not like this always but it has happend to us and I dont want this to happen to anyone else! But other things in Patel are pretty good! But some arent.
Like an average patel brother store.Carries a verity of groceries.
One of the largest in USA. Has large variety of indian food and groceries
Its a quintessential Indian bizzare. They pretty much have everything including a whole array of popular Indian flavored ice creams, and fabulous mangoes when in season. If u r gluten free this is a good place to by rice flour cheap. Very clean and friendly.
They have probably everything u need .. fresh vegetables, fruits, etc... I recommend going here .. we usually visit twice a month..
Fair prices and clean n professional...they always have what we want .never walked out of there unhappy
Great selection and prices.
Didn’t have anything I wanted. Parking lot was hard to navigate
This is my go to place for Indian grocery, due to covid almost all business have changed the way they operate, Patel Brothers have also made changes including mandatory face masks and a 6 feet distance policy is in place. At the end of day our safety is in our hands, policies are only as good as people following them.
Store has lot of things organized. Parking is hard during weekends!
Always a favorite shopping place for Indian stuff
Greedy and expensive taking advantage for location now they feel kingProduct quality not healthy too
Parking lot very difficult to park. from oak tree to the parking lot, both in and out, the sharp turn make it the worst parking lot.
Ok ...!!! But expensive. Sugar can juice rate was so high and quantity is not worth enough as per price .
Very fresh produce and large selection of everything
Dont recommend coming here. Store was not clean and lines are way too long. When it was time to check out they rang items up multiple times on a few different occassions. If you wanna be scammed and waste time this place is for you
They have everything you need it
I had to wait there for my item for 15 min. The girl on counter announced it two time seems like the people bringing stuff from the back arent paying attention to the front counter people. They should be more proactive and quickly delivered items which are asked.
Always have everything my mother needs for her indian grocery list.
Too crowded, no instructions to follow distance, items display near each other and narrow passageway. Likely to get covid-19 if not careful
Best place for Indian spices and fresh veggies
Nice Indian store having all variety of Indian items mainly vegetables, fruits, groceries, pooja items.
Fresh stuff and they have everything what we need.
Great grocery
Always have what I need. It is big, very organized and a clean store.
Its one of the more organized Indian grocery stores, much better than Apna Bazar or any other patel brothers in the tri state area.
Super expensive place. Most expensive among desi community grocers
This place is a decent grocer, mostly because there are a lot of people that frequent the location due to well, its location. Its not like the Patel Brothers in the thick of Oak Tree Rd, which can get rather messy (particularly with crowds and parking). On that note, the crowd is tremendously Indian. A proud Movember participant, Patel Cash & Carry was the one place where my mustache meant nothing. In fact, I would have stood out more if I did NOT have a mustache. Thats the level of Indian this place is.The produce is decent, but definitely not the most competitively priced. As I mentioned before, though, this place is super-convenient and easy to access from various parts of Edison. I will also admit that this location is well-stocked with Indian spices, snacks, frozen foods, and fresh produce. In closing, my tip: Ask fellow Indians if you dont know what the English names of the veggies are. Happy shopping!
Very good.
Its ok store stale vegetables
This has a big parking and is always well stocked. The produce and fresh kitchen are great here
One stop to find every indian need. Veggies, indian stuff... amazing place. There is nothing you dont find there, might pooja related items, food items, utensils.. all goods are available for living
Great selection of produce, friendly staff, clean store
Nice place to shop for Indian vegetables and grocery
This is an ok place for most of your Indian shopping. Some of the items are not well kept. For instance, I was shopping for some coriander here. I quickly abandoned the idea looking at how they had stored it. I hope I caught them at a wrong time. Will post another review the next time I am there.
Clean store and lot of Indian foods and vegetables.
Very nice and courteous
