Employees were nice but this store is WAY OVER PRICED! Save yourself money & Order online or check other stores in town. Not sure why the store name has the word Discount in it lol! We found the part we needed at West Marine in Towncenter for $100 cheaper! Also, side note- West Marine does price matching with Amazon where as this store does not do any price matching.

The parts people are pretty knowledgeable. Most of the rest are pretty clueless. If you dont know exactly what youre looking for Id try somewhere else. If youre looking for parts, go for it. They can help

After supporting a local store for years and purchasing all of my stuff from discount, they have a policy change and you can no longer return anything electronic...even if it’s unopened! Won’t be shopping here again. West Marine and Academy have the same things, sometimes at a better price.

We arrived at 6 minutes prior to advertised and posted 3pm closing on Sunday after a 30 minutes rushed drive to spend about $300 and the place was shuttered and closed. No way to conduct what has always been a good place until they decided to go home early today

If you have a boat, I guarantee that you need to fix something on it. If not, wait ten minutes... Its like the weather, that will change! These guys probably have what you need to repair, outfit your boat, trailer, etc. Good location, and the guys inside are knowledgeable and willing to help you out, even over the phone.

THIS COMPANY LOST A LIFETIME CUSTOMER DUE TO POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spenthundreds of dollars here over the last two weeks. HAD ONE PART TO RETURN in its original container in its original condition. They refused the refund.

You can find good deals here but, know how much something cost elsewhere before you over pay

This is the worst place ever.We bought a radio from them on 12/28/18 and got it installed on 1/2/19 the radio was defective and they would do nothing we even called the company and they told us it was defective could not believe they would do nothing.You call the store they went call you back. Worst customer service ever.Dont waste your hard earned money on this place.

What a GREAT Experience! I came all the way from SC to buy a trailer and was glad I did. Ian their salesman went beyond the call of duty to assist me. They didnt have the trailer at their location but he had their other dealership take several pictures of it and sent them to me. Since I was coming so far he even called me to let me know when it was in and ready for pick up. Very Very Good Salesman and I highly recommend and suggest that you ask for him. I have made many purchases at boathouse over the past couple of years and have always had a pleasant experience dealing with the men who have helped me finding what I need. That all stopped today.I spoke with the woman who sounds like she smokes 3 packs a day and asked her for assistance with ordering a part. Instead of even attempting to assist me she informed me that its not her job to know what part I would like to order, and then HUNG UP. While that may be true, if she would have taken just a couple of minutes to describe the options of carburetor rebuild kits they had for various Johnson models made in 1998 we would have easily been able to place the order. I know the specs of my engine, but the model number is not at my disposal from my work desk.All in all, Its one thing to not have the knowledge but another thing entirely to not even try to assist the customer. Previously I liked supporting the local store and not the west marine chain store, but when I called West Marine it took us 2 minutes to solve the enigma this gritty kitty couldnt even be troubled to look up.It probably wont hurt too much that I wont return but Ill be sure to inform all my friends about my experience.
