Needed a full exhaust on my truck a while back and they sent me the wrong y pipe, when I brought it in they still cut it and made it work for me. Also very good quality, would have no idea they had to cut it. overall very satisfied couldn’t have asked for more especially for the price! (Has now been installed for about 3 months as well)

I guess theyre independent now cuz now they very high I wanted to put a Cadillac converter on my car and I had the part and they wanted $250 to do it and I found someone to do it for $65 I would never go back to them again

These guys are the real deal. Not much to the eye, but the guys really are kind and they had an open bay which they started on my truck right away. Took about 35 min. I brought a new muffler I bought online and they had no issue removing the old one and installing the new one. I have no issues at all recommending this place. Another place wanted 100$ to do what these gentleman did and they told me $60 flat and thats what I had paid. Thanks guys!

Ive been going to Alfa Muffler for a couple years now regarding my Subaru Forester. The workers here are SO friendly and helpful. Specifically, Ino (apologies if this name is misspelled) has been helping me with my car, he is very knowledgeable and kind. The advice they give me is very honest and I can tell they are a truly trustworthy shop. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone I know! Will be coming back in the future if I have any car troubles :)

Got a muffler delete done on My M37X and it sounds great!Two things I am annoyed with1. I was told its $60 per side and the guy said its $150 but at the end said its $160...not ok to do to customers.2. Was told they have stock exhaust tips for my car and I can buy there but didnt have any. Only for trucks. What changed in a day?Overall it am happy with the sound and quality of the work but it would be nice to have the price upfront instead of the typical bate and switch. Also, they only take Cash! Nothing else

Luis is the owner and more than your ordinary mechanic. He is your friend! That is hard to find in this day and age especially in this line of work. He is honest and trustworthy. He will tell you like it is so you know right where you stand. He is very knowledgeable and may recommend options to you. More than most other (chain) shops out there.I almost made a BIG mistake by going to VELASQUEZ & SONS DO NOT GO THERE THEY ARE A MAJOR RIP-OFF......down right FRAUDULENT!!Im glad I went to ALPHA 1st......It saved me hundreds of dollars. Luis has a great staff also. Javier was a big help when Luis was not there (which is very rare).I consider Luis as more than a technician. He is a Car Doctor! I will send all my friends to the Dr. ......He will have the cure!

Took my wifes car there and thought it was the muffler. Nope...just a flange. $30 out the door. Very honest.Took my daughters 99 Saturn in a few months after my wife car thinking major exhaust work was in the future. Nope....just one part was all it needed. Cant say enough about this family shop.

Luis is an honest businessman. Luis was very friendly. I had a catalytic converter that was so clogged the car would not accelerate past 30mph. Luis took the time to explain the problem and suggest the most economical solution to solve the problem. He repaired the clogged cat for $50 in less than 20 minutes. I had quotes on fixing the same problem for over $600. Car runs better than it did before the clogged cat. One thing is cash only but with how decent of a human being he is and his fair prices you shouldnt need to finance your car repairs here. Thank you!

This place is the most honest best working and best price just all around perfect place to come to before coming here I stopped at a place in Crest Hill on Broadway and they tried to RIP me off and sell me a whole new muffler for $140 that I didnt need. Came here and it was just a piece that needed welded and cost me $35. They always bring me in and show me what the problem is and give me a very fair price.

We used them for all of our muffler exhaust needs for our dealership and after receiving a cash deposit without saying we needed cash to pick it up they were incredibly rude with my employee who went to take the car in when he brought a check. They don’t take checks and they don’t take cards and seemed like they wanted to make it as difficult for us as possible while being ignorant. Will use Vasquez from now on for our business and promote them to all customers as well.

Honest and reasonably priced!!!I first stopped in several years ago. I was going around getting quotes. When every place I went to said I had to replace the muffler and spend 100s of dollars, Alfas just cut out the 2 inch section and replaced it, $20.Another time it was a bigger section $30.Even replacing my catalytic converter was super reasonable.Go! You wont retreat it.

Went here for 2 exhaust line leak repairs and both times they fixed the problem quickly and for very reasonable prices. Have not had any issues with them. Their work is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and they work quickly. Best place Ive seen yet in Joliet for any exhaust-related work.
