If youre looking for a unique piece of furniture at a reasonable price, this is the place! We bought a new house last summer and have been looking at furniture stores since then trying to find some funky, functional pieces for our hearth room. Everything we saw was the wrong size and extremely expensive.I finally made it out to Nook and Cranny this weekend and found exactly what I was looking for, for a fraction of the price and triple the uniqueness of what Ive seen in big name furniture stores over the past year. The staff was extremely helpful, even looking at photos I took of the rug at home to help me decide if the color of the cabinet was right for my room. The loaner measuring tape was a godsend after I left mine at home :)Im so thrilled with my purchases and Ill be returning soon to hunt for my next treasure!EDITED TO ADD: I really appreciated the help loading my furniture into my van. The staff helped me troubleshoot when I was afraid it wouldnt fit, stow the seats in my van when I couldnt figure it out and even provided my little girl with a free cookie and bottle of water. Now thats service!

The lady was super nice and had everything I needed, the next time I plan on coming back to her shop. We are redoing a 1909 Bank and have been looking for ceiling tile that was close to matching ours she let me have the tile from her decor. Thanks again

Wow! What a fun place! EVERYTHING is AFFORDABLE! There are three floors here full of house fillers, couches, lights, ornaments, chairs, wooden tables, crystal, fun framed wall hangings and atmosphere.I was so pleasantly surprised by this outing that Im happy to come back when I have a house to fill with warm and cozy furnishings.

~Clean, easily accessible restrooms.~Beautifully curated displays of so many different things.~Friendly, helpful customer service.~They take credit cards.~Some prices are higher but most were very reasonable.I always find it amusing when people say that things are overpriced when ten other people are in love with the place. I am one of those people. We stopped by on Sunday because we had stopped by their store in Tightwad, MO and the friendly Miss Sharon said they had THREE floors of goodies in KC.Bear in mind, this is not three regularly sized floors, these are three HUGE, warehouse sized floors. This is my fave new place, I look forward to coming back.

I used to LOVE this store. I used to think they had great buys for your money. However on mothers day weekend I went there and found a Mexican blanket for $5, I was sold because I have always wanted one. So I go to purchase it and it turns into a HUGE ORDEAL!! I was told that was not the seller tag. I thought thats okay. But they had to go and ask the seller how much she wanted and I thought it was going to be a fair price going up from $5. Nope, the seller wanted $25. Which I declined because I was mad that I had not only been led astray but was now being charge a heck of alot more then expected. I was also furious because I didnt even recieve an apology for the inconvenience!!

You have to be picky. A lot of the stuff is overpriced. Par for course when there are multiple sellers.
