I commuted from Oregon to buy a car they had for sale. Before my commute and loan process, they promised me there were no issues with the vehicle and it was good to go as soon as I got there. Upon arrival I requested to drive the vehicle before purchase, the car did not start and the battery was dead. The vehicle was left on over night and ran out of gas ( according to them). After charging the battery and filling it with gas, I took it for a test drive. Upon starting the car up there was a check engine light ( this was promised not to exist ). I then noticed the blinkers did not work immediately after. I backed out on the deal immediately due to the apparent dishonesty. The employee, I believe his name was Jose, promised me he would get the car fixed and proceed with the sale as soon as it was done. I called/emailed 5 times over the next two weeks to be left on read or ignored. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Good service, decent prices. I found the car I wanted online that they had, and being from out of town, I worked with Jose and Drew to have the car dropped off at Meyers Auto Tech for a pre-purchase inspection while I drove to Kennewick to look at the vehicle. They were very accommodating and had it to Meyers within 45 minutes. After arriving, test driving the car, and deciding to buy it, Drew was very understanding and helpful working with me to arrange a wire transfer payment the next day. The only negative part of the transaction was how persistent Drew was in asking me to write a Google review. Besides that, the purchase was smooth and easy.

So.. I have super bad anxiety about car shopping and sleazy cars salesmen... I cant tell you how many times ive walked off a car lot and the car breaks down.. BUT NOT THESE GUYS! Not only is my car amazing! But they really worked with me! I was having trouble financially and they helped me! 10/10. Customer service is outstanding!!! I will shop here again in the future and recomend this place to my friends and family!

Terrible customer service. My son went in to buy a car. Was told they wouldn’t run his credit unless they committed to buying today. He asked how he would know what he’s approved for unless they run his credit? His reply, as he shrugs his shoulders, “we are all business today”. They left, went to another dealership, and bought a car, TODAY. Terrible customer service

From the start we were greeted with a great attitude. The salesman which I cant remember his name which sucks because he was awesome. (Sorry man) He was attentive and didnt pressure me. Drew was awesome in getting me a great deal. Even with my bad credit. Down payment was low and my monthly payments are less than 300!!! Im happy with my purchase 2017 Ford Fusion. Shout out to the Alvarez team, you guys are awesome. I definitely recommend them, you wont be sorry.

Bought a car from them, next day didn’t want to turn on. Called them and they said it’s probably just a fuse and I would have to pay for it. Couple days later called me and told me they were taking me to court because they didn’t receive their down payment money. Don’t know how that’s possible even tho, I left the dealership with the car. They even confirmed it at the dealership. They just see a young kid and want to take advantage of that. These guys are scums. Do not buy from here!!!

Just tried to go look at a Wrangler they had for sale. I looked the vehicle over and in less than a minute, found the rear seat belt tensioners were completely unbolted and hanging at eye level for both of the rear seats and then looked down and saw bolts were missing that hold down the rear seat. So then, the person that came out to to “help” me, comes out, introduces himself and I asked him if I could show him what I found. As soon as I pointed it out, again, not hard to miss at all, he immediately started making excuses why it was that way. “Must have not seen it, government car, etc”, to which I replied, “Well I don’t get how a large safety item like that is missed” Now is when it got really bad. He instantly started “defending” himself/the dealership saying how that’s not how they do business, how dare I make that accusation, etc and then just told me to leave. To be honest, I was just going to leave because I’ve never been treated so horribly, and especially for something that should never had even been a subject to talk about in a place that sells vehicles, but I kept my mouth shut and just wanted to let the manager know what had just happened. As I was walking inside, the same guy kind of headed me off and I asked if I could speak with the manger to which he replied “I’m the general manager” and then told me to leave. I tried to talk with him and see if maybe I did say something that may had triggered his attitude and give him the chance to at least tell me why he acted that way when I was just trying to point out a safety item. Any who, he just started talking about how that never usually happens, he said because I pointed that out I was being rude, oh and how the rest of the lot were newer vehicles...?....I didn’t see how that was relevant, but seeing I was getting no where with the “general manager”, I gave up and said he needed to treat customers better especially as a GM and as he was walking away from me he yelled, “we’ve been in business for eight years man!” I’ve never seen or heard of a GM of ANY business act like this no matter the circumstances. I hope there is a higher up or an actual GM that sees this and remedies his staff’s behavior. I’m not one for complaining or even social media for that matter, but this was ridiculous.

Found the perfect first car for my Granddaughter! Chris, our salesman, was very kind and knowledgeable about the needs for first time buyers. They were able to work with us to get a payment within her budget. I recommend anyone shopping for a used vehicle, to check them out. I read some older reviews on Yelp that weren’t so nice but we had a very good experience so it just goes to show, you can’t believe everything you read!

If no stars were possible that’s what I’d give this lot. Tried getting something rolling on a gmc but they kept saying I needed a co-signer and turned me away so I went to Northwest Premier in Richland and they were able to get me into a 2015 Ram that was more than the GMC with no co-signer. Way better experience over there.

I wanted to like this place and I wanted to get a car here, but there were so many red flags that I am so happy that I ended up finding a much newer car at an actual Chevrolet dealership.I walked in looking for a specific car on the lot, I was told it was already sold but there was another car same model better trim for a lower price. I asked why it was lower, the salesperson stuttered a bit with an answer, but I took it for the time being. He asked if I wanted to test drive and I agreed, I got in the drivers seat and this 2017 model SUV had 96,000 miles on it. THAT was the reason it was so cheap, not the BS he was trying to tell me earlier. First red flag.I was still interested in the vehicle so I drove it, liked it, and since I already had an appointment with a private mechanic set for the next day I went inside and did initial paperwork to get a quote on my trade in. They needed my registration, I gave it to them. They gave me a quote, asked for my SSN to get a soft inquiry on my credit, I gave it to them.I get my quotes and go home, despite being stopped several times asking to buy today or take the car out for the day. I end up going home and finding the car that I ended up buying the next day at a Chevrolet dealership. While I was there, they asked for my registration and the title to my trade in, and thats when it hit me. THEY KEPT THE REGISTRATION TO MY CAR. However luckily I had a copy so that was fine, but we mysteriously could not find the title to my car. I cant prove that it was taken while the Alvarez trade in value assessor dude drove it around the block, but it was certainly there before he had driven it.Overall I cant give a one star review because the salesperson I was working with was helpful, but I cant give this place 5 stars because the salesperson was trying to act like nearly 100,000 miles on a 2017 car was perfectly fine, kept stressing their warranty, and then the keeping of my registration and *possible* theft of the title.

If I could give these guys ZERO stars I would, I bought 2010 PT Cruiser from them outright at the end of May. When I test drove the vehicle I mentioned to the salesman that the a/c was not working,he said it probably just needed to cool off as we were both DRENCHED in sweat!!!!!It NEVER cooled off and I told him I would not buy the car without A/C working he replied that I could just go buy freon and put it in myself and I repeated that I would not buy without the a/c in working condition...they put in the contract that they would repair the A/C and would call me next week to schedule the repair.....NO ONE EVER CALLED a week and a half later my car starts leaking alot of water from under passenger side of car and it began to overheat...it was NOT driveable so I called them angry of course and a very snooty woman answered the phone and acted like I was a nuisance...the manager called me and asked me to bring the car in the am and their mechanical would take a look and repair....I dropped it off the next morning and by two on the mechanical called and said the radiator hose had a hole in it and that was causing everything and he had fixed the A/C....fast forward to now If have had the car less than 2.5 months and it started leaking water AGAIN AND OVERHEATING AGAIN,I parked it until it could get in to my mechanic and The repair is going to upwards of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS!!IT NEEDS A NEW HEAD GASKET,A NEW WATER PUMP AND TIMING BELT,A NEW THERMOSTAT AND HOUSING AS WELL AS A NEW RADIATOR AND RADIATOR CAP AND IF THE BLOCK IS CRACKED IT IS EVEN MORE MONEY TO FIX!!!Per the mechanic those initial issues with the A/C and OVERHEATING were warning signs and symptoms of these BIG issues!!!SHAME ON YOU ALVAREZ AUTO SALES NOT ONLY ARE YOUR ASSOCOATES RUDE BUT YOU ARE CONDUCTING BUSINESS IN AN UNETHICAL MANOR!! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM I BELIEVE THEY DO AND SAY ANYTHING TO MAKE A SALE...YOU WOULD VE BETTER OFF SETTING YOYR MONEY ON FIRE AND WATCHING IT BURN.

3 years ago I bought a ford escape 2013 at Alvarez Had a very good experience then. This year I came back to Alvarez and trade in that one for a newer one. The man that helped me was David Snyder great guy told no worries we will make it work. And yes it worked. The whole place was very good to me the own come out and talk to me. Which was nice not a lot of auto dealers do all what they do. If you want a great deal come here you will have the best experiences in buying a car.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2015 Denali from Alvarez Auto Sales as we traded in our 2015 Nissan Murano(one owner, super low miles, locally bought, clean title). By the way, best staff attitude I’ve ever seen at a car dealership! When I took it home I became concerned when the dvd did not want to play nor eject it. There was also a small noise coming from the engine. Called and told me to take it in. Took the day off on Monday as I live over an hour away from the car dealership and was told the engine was fine. However in regards the DVD player, per upper management told me they can fix it for $100. Why should I pay $100 when it’s a high end vehicle being sold. Gave me another option to call off deal. I took the second option. They lost a huge sale (38K )over $100. And now they are advertising same vehicle for 3K more. Way to find a way to screw someone else over and make more profit. No customer service.

Me and my wife went to alverez to purchase a vehicle, they talked a big game about how there cars are reliable and every car they have on the lot has been through inspection by there mechanic we were also told that if there was an issue with the vehicle that we could bring it back and they will take a look at it! So we went ahead and bought the vehicle and within a week our suv started making noises every time we went over a speed bump and within days after that it would happen every time we hit any bump in the road! My wife went back in to let them know that there was an issue with the car that it was making noises Ect... they told her In a vary rude manner that it wasn’t there problem anymore that we need to take it into a mechanic shop and deal with it on our own! Now I don’t know about you but spending $10,000 on a car and having it become nothing but a problem within weeks seems like a foul place to buy a car to me! I should have known this was going to happen! There was a lady in there fighting with them about the vehicle she bought as well! I feel that they only told us what we wanted to hear just to make some money off of us and that is absolutely not right! ! Thanks alverez I will be going some ware els to buy my next car and I will be sure to let all my friends and family know what kind of people you are!!!✊🏽

UPDATE:I have encountered a problem. The air deflector on my car tore and as I was investigating the problem I found that it had literally been screwed together. (Not to the car but the rubber flaps had been screwed together and the clips were broken.To be fair, it was a rental car previously. So I cannot with a 100% accuracy say that it was the dealership that did this.However I did go back in and ask to be given half of the cost of the replacement cost of the part ($40 part) and to have them install the new one. Which is something simple that I could do. I thought what I was asking was more than fair. However they only agreed to install it (because it was just a cosmetic part) Given that someone had screwed it together in the first place, I am not entirely sure that it wasnt done by their mechanics to begin with.ORIGINAL REVIEWJust bought a nice car. So excited. Like other Auto places it depends on credit, your income etc. It took awhile to iron out the details but I couldnt be happier. Will update if I encounter any problems, though I doubt I will.

I purchased my 2013 Toyota Venza in November was well taken care of. Made sure we had water juice snacks. I left there with a great vehicle, a fabulous warranty with a great deal. Make sure to ask for Drew hell do his best to get you in the vehicle you want.

Walked in to Alvarez Auto Sales and not even three seconds passed by when I was being helped immediately! I don’t know much about cars but luckily Gerry broke everything down for me and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Its unfortunate that you have so many negative reviews. i saw several cars on your lot i was interested in. However upon looking at your reviews it is obvious with the consistent complaint of malfunctioning cars you guys have a real problem. I would not risk a 10k+ purchase with you guys based on your reviews. Yes you have many great reviews but the negative 1 star reviews all have the same complaint, the cars break down shortly after purchase. You should really consider how your reviews affect your sales.

I bought a car from them about a year ago and I paid good money for it. Once I got it home I started noticing little things wrong with it suspention wise and drivetrain. I looked deeper into other things like paint and brakes the farther I looked the more damage I noticed that was just bandaged over to make it look good for a little while what they do over there should be illegal

Nice people. Try hard to help you find you a vehicle to buy. Little on the spendy side. But higher end of the cars, so expent to spend more.
