Yep; Evangelina is probably behind the counter, helping someone or starting up a friendly conversation. So much to see in this adorable boutique shop in La Mesa. Its not large, but youll find some treasures. Parking is metered. Right on a corner and easy to find. Used to be the shop called Labyrinth.

Great shop! Intimate and has everything youre looking for beginners and advanced practicers! Plus great Victorian and Steampunk homemade items! I love going here, its so welcoming and homey!

I found the cutest dress with vibrant colors and patterns, perfectly matching earrings that remind me of nature loving fairies, a crystal to add to my special meditating moments, and a few other flattering tops. Most appreciated though, was the inspiring conversation I had with the owner. It was my second time in the shop, I just had to return, and now I know why!

There is a little bit of something for everybody! Most items in the shop are locally sourced, made by the owner or other locals. There are teas, herbs, variety of candles, crystals, jewerly(lots of crystal ones too and even crystal hair accessories), clothing, body stuff and more! The owner is lovely and there are even classes offered in store if you check out the website or facebook page!

There’s something about this shop that simply puts you at peace upon walking in. Eva’s custom hand made candles are absolutely amazing. There’s something here for everyone of all ages. But don’t take my word for it, stop in and see for yourself!

If you are a die hard pagan and looking for supplies for that next ritual, Black Bird is it. I have been looking for stores that carry herbs, ritual boxes, and ect. This place is wonderful and so is the owner. They really do take the time to connect with their customers. Not to mention, they provide a wealth of information on paganism. Honestly, it is amazing how the staff here is passionate and know their craft.
