One of the best guitar shops Ive been to. Not a very wide selection (at least for the guitars Im looking for or interested in) but they have a lot of parts if you need any replacements. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly whenever I go to visit. This place definitely gets my 5 star rating 👍👍

This place is phenomenal. Great service at great prices! Everyone is so knowledgeable! Got my guitar set up by Kenny and it plays like a dream! The passion just flows out of this place! Not to mention Gene Walt and Moze have stories for days! Oh and dogs welcome :)

The guys there are really cool and knowledgeable, the shop is an old school place that you feel welcome and like a friend instead of just another customer like a lot of the corporate places. Moze overhauled my old 1977 Hondo II LP and replaced all the hardware and electronics - now it sounds better than ever!

Have stopped by a few times now, one just before they were closing and so we just peeked in and saw they had a lot of cool stuff and then another time to check out acoustic options. Quite a variety of gear available, from budget/student options on up to high end and rare acoustics and vintage amps.Staff are pretty busy with projects behind the counter it seems but have been very welcoming and friendly when I needed some input. They are pretty open to just letting you look/play and can also take time to answer your questions if you have them.Much better experience than going to Guitar Center and trying to hear your own thoughts, plus you are supporting small local business. Will be back for sure!

I never ever write reviews for anything, but Im very impressed with this place. Ive heard a lot of good things about Moze and I knew they did repairs so I began visiting their store recently for some adjustments and minor repairs on my electric guitars. This is a great store and my new favorite music shop. They do quality work for a fair price and theyre all really cool, nice dudes. I bought an amazing Stratocaster from them today, and they gave me a great deal on it. Great salesmen and great service. They go above and beyond what most stores would these days. Theyve done lots of small, kind gestures for me every time Ive been there, and they tend to all your needs as soon as you walk in. Dont waste your time at guitar center, visit these guys, theyll take care of you. Real, sincere, genuine service. Ill be back for sure!

Been coming here since I got my first guitar set-up. Bought a few amps, sold a guitar, repaired and gotten advice numerous times now and I cant see myself going anywhere else. I brought in a Fender jazz fretless, i purchased on reverb. I paid full price for a neglected instrument. The fingerboard was allowed to dry and warp. The crew at Moze Guitars turned my Reverb dud, into the amazingly toned bass it was originally. Beautiful work great price. Thank you!

All of the employees were real cool and were very friendly. I nice change of pace from many music shops around the area. The prices were good and very under inflated like CA seems to be on vintage guitars. I highly recommend these guys!!

I really enjoy Mose over going to say, Guitar Center. Not that theres anything wrong with Guitar Center, it just feels like youre shopping at a Wal Mart. You dont get that local experience like you do at Mose. In addition to some really excellent new gear, theyve also got quite a selection of miscellaneous used gear. I found a Fender Catalina which has been a great little acoustic guitar. They were also kind enough to fix my bridge on my Tacoma acoustic after I snapped it with the high e string. They actually had another Tacoma in stock, and that was the only place Ive ever seen another one. So its just fate I suppose. Keep up the good work all.

I have never written a review for any guitar store that I have been too before. That needs rectifying. The casual atmosphere, knowledgeable family of staff, and a very varied, constantly changing stock of guitars and amps makes a visit to Moze a must.In the past couple of months I have bought a Trace Elliott Super Tramp (a real sleeper of an amp), a Vintage Peter Green Les Paul copy and various accessories. The staff are usually willing to deal and prices are excellent for any guitar store let alone a small non-chain shop. This place feels much larger than it really is.I will be back frequently for as long as I live in San Diego. I cant recommend this place more highly.

This place is the absolute bomb. I usually buy gear from friends or off Craigslist, but a buddy told me about this place. I was looking for an American Fender Strat with a maple fretboard and hadnt been able to find one for a decent price. Saw an 1996 here that looked new. Whats more Walt was willing to deal. I came out with a great guitar and enough left for lunch. Later I got a boss Hamer bass for chump change. Come here before you go anywhere else, or youre a fool.

Went there to modify my PRS and few other axes and the staff guided me through every step. This is my fav shop. Have a wide variety of parts u cant find elsewhere and at a awesome price.
