I had the same experience with the shop as a previous driver. The customer service was great. Matt is the Shop Supervisor and he handled the situation very professionally. I would rather drive out of the way to come to this shop than the one in my home town.

I would like to thank Thompson Machinery for letting me sit and Drive a skid steer and mini Excavator! I would defenitley recommend any one who wants to buy or rent equipment from them to go ahead and do so without hesitation! Very Freindly staff and just an awesome Place! While our organization has done countless transactions with other CAT dealers throughout North America - we have never had as poor of a customer experience as dealing with this dealership. The sales team seems to be very helpful but once the deal is closed there is not the same support throughout the rest of the organization. We were sold a unit for about $400k and only upon our driver arriving on site to pick up the unit were we told that cash in full was required prior to shipment. We reached out to their team to ask if an ACH payment would work or a wire would be needed to get the unit released as we had a driver waiting - they said an ACH was fine - but then refused to release the unit even with ACH confirmation that cant be pulled back without their initiation. Had we been provided wire instructions or told in advance, we could have wired the funds - but instead we have had production interruption for several days with no support on the release of our unit. We escalated the issue within the business, but also had no support. Buyer beware.

My truck had a tranmission issue and I wanted it done right. I contacted all the dealerships around the area to see who can help me the soonest, and they all basically told me they are fully booked for the week and hung up on me. I contacted Thompson Machinery and they told me they can start on my truck that day. And they did start working on my truck right away, after it was towed to their yard and I prepared the truck.Dustin from the service departmet handled all the communication between us and the shop. He was very knowledgable and communicative with us. Whenever I asked about progress on the repair, he would take me to their shop and get status update from the mechanic. Their shop is very big and very well equiped.Overall, they changed clutch and transmission for my truck and now its driving great. The experience of working with them was very smooth and easy. Everything was done on timely manner. The price was around what we expected. I would recommend their service to all. They are truly professional. It was one of the best service I received in this line of business.

They built truck Engines for years, and then sell parts that fail after 200 miles and then tell you to go somewhere else.. service mgr shouldnt work with customers ..
