I have had nothing but great experiences with this dealership! I got my last two cars through here and couldn’t be happier. They helped me get into a great car that fit my needs perfectly, quickly. They even drove the car to me! The whole process from start to finish was painless and I will definitely be getting my next car here as well.

There have not been many good experiences with this Baxter dealership over the last few years after I found a car I liked through them.1. We agreed to a price, then when I reviewed the final price before going to sign off I noticed they never changed the price to our negotiated number. I brought it up and they said they would change it. I waited 1+ hours just to get in to sign my papers so stupidly I assumed they actually changed it, and the next day when I was looking over stuff they hadnt actually changed anything. So they had to send me a check for the difference.2. I paid for the first 6 oil changes when I bought the car, and I think I have still been charged for at least 2 of them. I have received a check for one of them, nothing on the other yet.3. They said you can just drive in for service, no need to sign up for an appointment. I did that the first time and waited 2 hours for an oil change. The next time I did sign up for an appointment because drive-up service was worthless and I waited... 2 hours still. If I didnt have free oil changes I would have already started going anywhere else.4. On the latest oil change they wrote down the wrong mileage that was on the car, so I will have to come in earlier than actually needed or it will look like I have not been getting oil changes at the right interval when I go to sell the car.I have brought all of these issues up to the dealership multiple times and have received little to no response on any of it. Since email has not been useful in getting their attention, hopefully this will do it. Very frustrating experience all around with Baxter Volkswagen of La Vista, I do wish I would have paid the couple hundred extra to another dealership just to avoid them.

We purchased our Atlas from Baxter in March 2021. We have had several Volkswagens, motors in front and back.The experience has always been amazing.We have been in the service department a few times, for regular service and common questions about new (to us) vehicle.The service department is always helpful, our usual person we talk to is Alex, she is the best. Always excited for us to come in the door, and weve always had smiles from everyone.In a recent oil service and tire rotation appointment, I described an issue that the car has had, and Alex even went on a drive with me to make sure she knew exactly what happens. After the car did what I was describing (rare right?) and went back, she had Garrett look at the car. Even tho it was near the end of the day, they were all too happy to look at the problem and attempt to fix it (programming).I cant express enough, how our experience has been multiple times that we have been at VW. We have had many dealerships, service centers and the like be nothing but bad experiences or be treated like another number, but not here.Youre treated like a family member, I really mean that.

Alex in the service department is great! We had a stolen Jetta GLI taken into VW Baxter in LaVista and she was beyond helpful the whole way through! It was a long and tedious process from when the car was stolen until it was taken here, but once here, it was smooth sailing. Alex took the time to actually listen to our concerns with the recovered vehicle and always made sure to keep us up-to-date on what was going on with it. By Alex just being Alex, we will continue to bring our Jetta to this location!

Mike was a nice salesman, but that was ruined by the rest of the experience. Horribly slow finance department. I was paying cash, how long should that really take? I waited almost an hour. I then had to leave to go to work. Finally found out that the issue was that the car was already sold through another dealership. Make sure you have your facts straight before telling someone you will sell them a car.

Alex ALWAYS does an outstanding job. She works really hard, has integrity and awesome customer service skills. I trust her judgement like no other.She is the reason we remain customers. We also own a Jeep and Subaru and Alex was instrumental in those purchases.

Sam is amazing! Through out my time at Baxter Sam has been more than helpful. He took the time to get to get to know me and my family and checked all my boxes for what I wanted in a car. Sam even drove me to my house because an Uber was going to take too long and dropped me off! Next level service! Won’t go anywhere else!

Look out! I paid for tire rotation but turns out that did NOT perform this. PAID for an oil change & did NOT even get a new oil filter. They count on people assuming work was performed but if you dont know you dont know! NOW I HAVE To have a different shop take care of my car repairs so they are actually Done! If I could give Zero or negative stars I would.

My son had his car towed to the LaVista service department to have a key made on August 25, 2021 and was told his key and car would be ready in three days. When three days arrived my son called and they had no clue that his car was even there. Eventually they found his car and AGAIN told him that it would be three MORE days. So today they called him and told him to be there by 1pm and NOW they tell my son that it will not be ready today because they are busy, then after showing Cody, who was rude, didn’t seem to know much about anything, especially great customer service, it will still be another 1-2 hours. I talked to Jenna and she would get right on it. So we are STILL waiting. Jenna worked magic! After the phone call the 1- 2 hours turned out to be 15 minutes until my son got his key but his tire was low so NOW we are waiting on air. A young man went to the other side to get the air came back about five minutes later and said that they would give my son a new tire so we waited ANOTHER 15 minutes then he came out with the air pump that he had supposedly went to the other side to get but could not find. My Son is a young Black male and Im not trying to pull the race card but cars where going in and coming out the whole 2 hours and they were being taken care of. No apologies nor discount for very poor customer service except for the quickness of Jenna. I’m going to contact the upper management because this was so Unacceptable

We bought our 2nd car here from Alex P in the past year. Both times have been great service! He was very helpful in listening to what we wanted, helped us find a great car, and even brought it to us to look at! I highly recommend Alex and Baxter VW in La Vista.

I had been to a couple dealerships before Baxter VW. At each one, I felt like I was getting toyed with and didnt feel comfortable throughout the process. Then, at Baxter, I had nothing but a positive experience. Special shoutout to Luke the sales rep for his help. He was honest and frank with me. He didnt put any unnecessary pressure on me as the buyer and made the entire experience as stress free as buying a car can be. I would recommend Baxter (and Luke) to anyone in the market for a new vehicle.

Absolutely terrible customer service on all aspects. Recently leased a new Taos in July, it is now OCTOBER, and cannot get the car registered because Baxter has completely dropped the ball on sending all the paperwork over to the dmv. Not to mention the first payment was made to VW credit, and VW credit had no record of the car being sold!! Showed up in person to get to the bottom of it and proceeded to be talked down to because of their own mistake. Wanted the vehicle registered in Iowa instead of Nebraska, stated this from the start, and they still sent it to Nebraska. Talked to the finance person to figure out what needed to be done and was spoken to so disrespectfully as if he was trying to make it my issue and not his as if I “changed my mind” or something! Not to mention I was asked at the beginning of the process what brought me in to look for a car and I had told them I was t-boned and my car was totaled. Through the entire process, distasteful jokes such as “don’t wreck this one now” we’re made to me. I corrected the situation a couple times but they were relentless. DO NOT go through these guys unless you want to be run around completely.

Im so happy to see Janna Wasko back working with Volkswagen, now a manager, thats fantastic, I dont have to worry, I know Janna will give me great service, Dec. 7 2019, I traded off my 2012 CC for a new Nissan Rogue sport AWD, it was great in the snow, but I missed my CC so much, I had 3 oil changes at wood house and 2 out of 3 times my odometer was not reset for the 5,000. Oil changes, thats pretty simple stuff especially when you can reset it on the steering wheel ! Also 2-3 times I didnt get my vichele washed, I did get a car wash ticket. I went on line and put in 2016-2017 Volkswagen CC at Baxter, nothing came up, so I put it in again and I found 4 brand new CCs with 47 miles, one had 147 miles, now you have my attention, a white, black, red and grey CC, I was having a hard time choosing, I finally said which one of these cars has a sunroof ? The brown car, so my little dog Toostie and I left on Sunday and drove to Denver and on memorial day drove home my beautiful 2016 CC. This is my 3 Rd. Volkswagen, in 9 years, I like these cars. Bought a car a little over one month ago from here. Only received one set of keys even though there should be two. Was told they couldnt find the other set and would give us a call when they do and get them to me ASAP. Well one week ago I went in for a service appointment and asked about the second set of keys again. Service guy had to go ask the sales manager if this was true, which it was, and was told he would just order me the second set and it would be ready in 2-3 days. Come back a week later (today) and asked again, and was told they were never ordered but would do so now. I even called 2 days ago (because I knew I was coming in for another service appointment today) and someone took my message and said theyd call me back to verify the keys were ordered. I never received a call back. Really frustrating to fight for something that should have came with the car on day 1.Also, upon buying the car, was told they couldnt find the inspection report that comes with the. Ertified pre owned vehicle and that this would get sent to me ASAP. Well, still a month later with no checklist report. However, in the month Ive had the car, it was due for an oil change literally within a week of having the car. Took it to a shop and they told me the oil plug was messed up and leaking and they replaced it for free. Took the bad oil plug to the dealership along with a note from mechanic saying the problem and they told me the oil plug that was in the car was fine and nothing wrong with it.as if the mechanic would lie to give me a free plug? I doubt it.Also, the car tires were supposed to have been checked before handing the car over but literally while driving home the tire monitor went off and the tires were 20 psi below what they should have been.Overall very dissatisfied with the service and they dropped the ball big time. Go somewhere else that actually cares about customers and doesnt hide things.

Let me just start by saying that because of how awesome Luke Andrews, Nicole Kramer, and Jacob Kuzela were during my buying process, Ive been brought back to the Baxter family. I had vowed at one point never to buy from a Baxter dealership because of a very poor experience my dad had with a Baxter dealership, and an experience I had at Baxter Subaru by Westroads, where I was basically told by the salesman to quit wasting their time since I wasnt buying a car that day. Then one day back in late September / early October, a friend of mine bought a VW from a dealership in Kansas. After getting it back up here to NE, he had an issue with it, (thanks to a KS dealer installed accessory they forgot to disable), and so we went to Baxter La Vista to see if they could diagnose the issue. As his car is being diagnosed, we ran into Luke, and I decided to drive a VW CC which was not really what I was looking at at the time. I was looking more at the Ford Fusion, or Mazda 6. But after driving the CC I fell in love with VW. But not the CC. So then I drove a Passat, and for the features I was looking for, the Passat ticked every box and then some! Throughout this whole time, Luke was NEVER pushy, was extremely knowledgeable, and just an all around great salesman/person to work with! (I would say Baxter is REALLY lucky to have a wonderful employee such as him on their team!) Anyway, I decide to go with the Passat, and I was frankly shocked at how easy the purchasing process was. I chose to lease the vehicle, and both Luke and Jacob made sure to explain everything out in simple terms for me to understand what I was getting into. Any questions I had, they answered! I told them what I wanted to pay, and they made it happen. Then enter Nicole! Nicole was very upfront with me on the different warranty/protection plans she offered, and didnt try to BS me one bit, and shes pretty funny and cool to chat with as well. All in all, Id say my buying process with Baxter was probably the smoothest and quickest one Ive experienced so far, and at the age of 22, Ive been through 5 of my own car buying experiences, not including friends and family experiences Ive sat in on. Baxter VW has made me a very happy customer, and as far as I am concerned, theyve made me a VW owner for life. On a side note, after the awesome experience I had with Luke, Nicole, and Jacob, I brought 2 of my friends by, and they also picked up VWs using the same team that I did. One a Passat, and one a Jetta. My buddy that bought the Passat bought it a couple days after me, and was in an accident in January that totaled his car. Not only did the VW save his life, (he was going 55 MPH down HWY 370 when an old man pulled out in front of him in a Subaru Outback) but everybody at Baxter was asking if he was ok, and how he was doing during the entire recovery process. (Luckily, at 55 MPH my buddy only broke his thumb, and the old man and his grandson walked away unharmed.) This further showed me how much the folks at Baxter VW care about you, not only during, but well after the buying process. And after everything with the insurance cleared, we went back to the guys (and gals) at Baxter VW, and my buddy got another Passat. They truly are an amazing group of people to work with! Hell, every time I walk in they ask me if Im ready to apply yet because of how often I stop in to chat. But enough blabbering! Sorry this review was so long!Baxter Volkswagen of La Vista = 10/10Would (and will) shop again!

The overall car buying experience was good. Colin took me on a nice test drive of a used Volkswagen Jetta. It took a bit of getting used to with a no haggle price but in the end it was good. If I were to make any suggestions I would add in the documentation fee onto the list price, no hidden fees. Other than that my overall experience was good, they took care of business with issues I found with the car and made them right. Thanks, Mark Kendra, Sasha, Bret and Colin.

The technicians out there know what they are doing. Quick on diagnostics and even repairs. The only problem is the cost, but that is reasonable, since they sell only VW genuine parts and professionally installed! Service consultants are very nice and professional. Would suggest to anyone who wants to have a repair on his/ her VW to go to this place.

I have not had good luck car shopping in the past. It was a breath of fresh air shopping at Baxter VW. Samuel was great to work with, not pushy and very helpful in doing what he could to find me the vehicle I was searching for. When I took delivery of the vehicle they walked me through the special features and several people there congratulated me on my purchase as well as offering me a special gift for purchasing with them; it was like I was queen for the day. It was truly an experience I didnt realize existed in car purchasing and it made me feel like they really care.

I had a great experience with Clayton at Baxter Volkswagen. I contacted them via email and he got back to me quickly. I live in a nearby state, so i had to drive 3 hours to see the vehicle inquired about. I told Clayton I was a no nonsense customer. Meaning I know what I wanted and I didnt want to go through the typical sales pitch that we know all care sales people do. Clayton shot me straight no games, or gimmicks. Clayton was so good that when I got there he actually had the specific vehicle I wanted on top of the one I inquired about. Needless to say after a 3 hour drive up there I left a VERY happy customer! Too top it all off he made arrangements to have the vehicle delivered to my front doorstep! Again I live 3 hours away! if that isnt going all out for the customer I dont know what is. In the future the folks at Baxter Volkswagen La Vista will forever be my first call. It may be 3 hours away, but I know I will be able to get exactly what I want, leave happy, and be able to take my family to the zoo. Thank you Baxter La Vista for your great service.

I was perusing their website looking for another type of pre-owned car. I came across this 2015 Jetta and was intrigued. The next day I looked at it again and the price dropped 2000.00. The day after that I took one more look and decided to roll the dice.I called and asked to speak to a sales rep and they put me in touch with Brandon Blake. After I left my appointment I drove straight to the dealership. Brandon was/is super friendly and knowledgeable about the products, the services they offer and other benefits of being a VW owner.After I was approved I was placed with Chelsea the finance manager. She too was super friendly and very knowledgeable. She carefully and patiently answered each of my questions, and their finance team was able to get me with a lender that got my monthly payments 45.00 less per month than I expected. Plus my car is covered warranty-wise for the next 6 years!I arrived at 5 pm and at 7:30 pm I was driving home in my new car!Baxter VW of La Vista has earned my money! Ive already referred someone to them for a new car.

I brought my Jetta into the service department because of some transmission issues. Im not going to go into detail but there was some problems initially with the services being rendered so I spoke with the service manager. She did everything she possibly could to make things better and definitely earned my respect and future business.

*Update to my original review.The sales team, managers, gm, ect have been nothing but top notch, even with issues that aren’t within their dept.The service department is where every issue has and continues to lay. I will now be having to take my car in for the 5th time for an issue which occurred while at the shop and the service mgr said could be handled when supplies I ordered came in. Upon speaking GM Ski not only did he go out of his way to try and resolve the issue right then and there, he is continuing to go above and beyond in handling and fixing the issue which is much appreciated.I cannot say enough good things about him, or Brenden. Both have gone out of their way multiple times when my car has been in service to get answers to delays, rush parts in, and overall hold the service dept accountable. With them valuing their customers and taking matters into their own hands, I feel it best to not “punish” them with a “1 star review” as they are shared across the entire Volkswagen building, which has generated a meet in the middle of “3 star”. If I could give the service dept “0 stars I would”. It’s a shame Baxter service depts always have issues, especially when their sales depts are incredible.*Original review: Within a week of driving my car, the oil light cane on and upon checking it was bone dry. Filled it up and took it to the service department who did an oil change and sent me on my way. Few weeks later I take my vehicle in for abnormal noise in the steering wheel, they fixed it and upon leaving the noise is still there. Fast forward a month (was my mistake for having to push back appts on the steering wheel which turned out to be a blessing in disguise) and my oil light comes on AGAIN... this time it’s 1/4 to empty on the stick. So back to the service dept we go for the 4th time in two months of owning my car. It’s now been in the service department 10 days and will be for at least another 5, to which prior I was told multiple different days over the last week and a half.I was understanding the first two instances with my car, and though they have provided a loaner the frustration of the constant bs; I will never be using baxter again after this and sadly this was my 5th car I’ve bought with them, first directly at the Volkswagen store, and my family personally has purchased over 30 from them.

Great service! Luke well educated me on my vehicle and Sasha helped me get the right plans to ensure my car stays healthy and functional. Great dealership, everyone was really supportive and encouraging which was refreshing during this time. Highly recommend going there if you are looking for a car!

Mark Austin was AMAZING. Hes helpful, kind, easy-going and fast. My leasing experience with him was fun and welcoming. Hes not pushy at all. Sasha at the finance department was also AMAZING. It was in and out, no BS. She was not trying to up-sell me what I dont want. They both listened to me and understood what I wanted/ needed. 5 stars for sure!

We bought a 2019 VW Jetta from Mark Austin there and everything was flawless. Mark showed us all the features of the vehicle and we took it for a test drive. We loved the car and when we decided to buy it, Mark drove it to our house to sign the final paperwork. The interaction over financing and service warrantees was simple and straightforward online. There were no hiccups and we love Baxter. I have been taking my Toyota there for service and plan to continue this with our VW as well.

I ask for a in-home test drive because of a compromised immune system.They responded to my schedule(within an hour)and sent the most knowledgeable person about this specific vehicle I have ever dealt with and he was also a pretty nice guy. I didnt think a deal was possible but I put my best offer out there and the new car manager made it happen.No pressure no hassle the way a car buying experience is suppose to be.Covid-19 made for a little longer and drawn out scenarios but it is the sign of the times.Outstanding work ladies and gentlemen.

I brought my car here after my ex messed up wiring from putting in an aftermarket radio. Not only did they repair the damage done, but they also addressed the recalls on my vehicle that I was unaware needed to be checked out. I was in an emotional state because of the situation with my vehicle and the embarrassment I felt. They were so good to me. The manager Janna is an angel, she even sent a kind letter and a gift for my daughter when my car was delivered. I would highly recommend this La Vista VW location to anyone.

Went shopping for a new vehicle solo and skeptical about being pressured to buy...didn’t happen. Justin was great, kept it simple, was up front with cost and options and made sure I still made it a very important basketball game that day! The friendly staff & outstanding customer service as well as excellent vehicle service/maintenance is above & beyond. I have tried to use the VW dealership here in Lincoln (as this is where I live ) but I refuse to tolerate their rudeness & unhelpful attitude from the initial phone call to try to schedule anything. I HAPPILY drive to LaVista for any and all needs. They are second to none. I have even called them with a question about an alert notification which lit up on my dash. They said to “come on in right now”! When I mentioned I was in Lincoln, Dwayne took the time over the phone to have me stop my car, and he walked me through exactly what to do & check to make sure my car was safe to drive & reset the dash alert. Recent tire rotation/balance along with environmental temperature change alerted low air pressure. We checked the air pressure in the tires among other things over the phone. Deemed it safe to drive & reset. You can’t put a value on this kind of service!!
