Always a pleasure to come into the Hut. Always greeted with smiles. I needed a neck shim for my Strat and I knew this was the place to go because they do guitar repairs. Evan had exactly what I needed and I was on my way.I also brought in my Uncles old guitar with some fret buzz and Evan is taking care of that now for me which is awesome.The shop has a nice selection of guitars and gear. They also offer lesson which I am going to take them up on.

I went in to buy an acoustic guitar at the Guitar Hut in Lafayette, CO, and it was a delight. There, I was greeted by Evan, who immediately approached me & help me out. His excitement and knowledge about guitars impressed me, the novice guitar player. Evan briefly (the briefness was unfortunate because it was awesome hearing him riff) demoed a few of the acoustics they had up for sale, and spoke on a few others, eventually selling me on a new Washburn guitar, the AF5K-A-U model. He offered me tips of guitar wisdom way beyond my years of guitar knowledge, on top of that, he offered me a free lesson where I could come in and learn from one of their music professionals, there in their store off of Arapahoe, and my guitar even came in a beautiful Washburn case. Thank you SO MUCH, Evan for all of your help with this beautiful guitar, and a wonderful Guitar Hut experience. 10/10 recommend to a friend & anyone with interest in Guitars.

I’ve bought two instruments (guitar and ukulele) through this place and the people there are incredibly attentive to the customers needs! I also took ukulele (first instrument) lessons with Evan and they were really helpful when I was just starting out. I’m never disappointed by them and I will 100% keep returning to them whenever I need another instrument or repair!

Nice place. They were actually closed when I arrived, but the gentleman (geez, so sorry I forget his name at the moment) that was there, wrapped up his private lesson and allowed me to buy the guitar strings I came for. He was plenty knowledgeable on the varieties of nylon strings and we ended up chatting alot about music gear. Win!

My guitar was bent out of shape and was difficult to play until I picked it up today...now it plays like a charm and I couldnt be happier! Evan did a fantastic job setting up my Les Paul; feels good to play a properly tuned guitar. And thanks, Tom, for the lesson info! Ill be seeing you guys soon!

My boys have taken guitar lessons at Guitar Hut for years and they absolutely love it. The instructors have a positive energy that always gets my kids fired up to practice and fall in love with music every week. Highly recommended.

There are not enough stars to rate this place. They have been more then great with my daughter, were a huge help at making Christmas special for her. They teach at a level that is understanding for all ages and expertise. The people at guitar hut are compassionate, knowledgeable and understanding. I am so glad we found this place and highly recommend for everyone!

I went in to have a guitar looked at and have some repairs done. The repair guy, Evan, had just left for the day when I arrived. Gillian still had the store open and called Evan, and he gladly came right back to the shop to help me out! Both Evan and Gillian well extremely helpful. They were both very knowledgeable and willing to share information on how to take better care of my instrument. Not like a lot of these other places you go where everything is a secret or you have to pay for information. The work I needed done was simple but Evan explained everything as he worked right in front of me. He only charged me a few dollars for the repair. Then we jammed for half an hour before I had to take off. The absolute definition of excellent service!! I would give them more stars if I could! I will be back guys, thanks again!!

I had these guys take a look at a signature bass of mine. It had some electrical problems going on with it that were a bit out of their knowledge base but Evan is great guy. Very honest and very hard working. I will return with any other problems I have in the future and I would recommend them. Their pricing is very fair and they are willing to help out customers any way they can.

What a great little guitar shop! We purchased a guitar here several years ago. Just recently weve signed up for guitar lessons and are very impressed! Everyone in the store is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and fun to work with. Best customer service around! I highly recommend the Guitar Hut!

I called to sign my boys up for guitar lessons and had a few options worked out and was told I would be called back to confirm which times worked. I never heard back. Then, when I called back to confirm options, I was told they didnt have any of my information logged and there were no longer any time slots available for lessons.Everyone I have met there seems very nice, but very poorly organized.

Fantastic help with finding unconventional string gauges. Really nice selection of ukuleles and picks. This is a good store for guitar oriented gear and other stringed instruments.

Best prices on services and most helpful guitar people in the Boulder area, hands down. I spent some time in the shop on a few occasions and without fail felt welcome trying out every guitar on the wall and their amps. I was going to get the wiring harness, pickups, pots, and hardware (bridge, tuning pegs, etc) completely replaced on my Hamer, as it was a genuinely good deal on labor and parts at this shop (beating out Guitar Center and Woodsongs) but I had to leave Colorado unexpectedly a couple days after getting the estimate, otherwise I would have had it done there. Highly recommended.
