Store staff was helpful when we got the managers attention. Apple online sales put hold on order for unknown reason after it was paid for. Apple online staff did not know how to release hold. Store manager had apple cancel sale to sell equipment to us from store.
There were lots of people shopping for iPhones and other products last Saturday when I was there. The store was well organized to ensure that everyone was wearing a mask. The numbers of people inside were limited, but people were patient waiting outside for their turns.
Service was perfect! Jenn originally took care of me, then she had to tend to another customer and Rob was there for me too. Jenn kept coming over to me to make sure my update, etc was moving along too. Then another gentleman also came over to make sure all was moving along smoothly. They were all very knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful.
Sold me a broken iPhone and they didnt care to do anything about it. My money just went like that. Shop here at your own risk.
So far waited to get in made an appointment a week later because they didn’t have someone to look at an issue with AirPods at the time we were there. We came back for our appointment, on time but had to wait outside with all the other non appointment customers for 25 minutes before we can get in. Then we had to wait 50 to be acknowledged of our appointment…
The customer service here is TERRIBLE. I am a college student and needed my computer to be checked out as it wasn’t turning on. It’s crazy how I need to also wear a face mask when everywhere on Long Island Recommends it but is optional for the vaccinated. They should have at least one tech who doesn’t take appointments so the people who have urgent situations can be taken care of. Crazy how I have to make an appointment a week in advance and then be told basically that they don’t care about their product and all my money invested into a 1500$ computer I need for school. People work and making an appointment is ridiculous and then being told that the people with appointments are more important than my computer I need for school is not right. They need to work on their customer service skills because seems like everyone in the store was also dissatisfied.
Very good store, but, even with an appointment, we had to wait. And the store should be able to do minor repairs in-house.

1st visit to the store, couldn’t get anyone to talk to me because I did not have an appointment. 2nd visit with appointment waited now over an hour still no help, meanwhile people walking in the door was being assisted while I was told to wait. The team at least 3 members of the team provided the canned, uncaring apology for the wait and the unfairness of the order of things. I was told the line of people being assisted before me was being helped by managers. I don’t need to this hassle. I have to assume it’s a poorly managed store. So disappointed with the experience.Update: one I got help it was awesome. The rep was just amazing.
Came in to replace my phone since it was having a lot of issues and I was given a run around with team members that did not want to help me. Louis was assisting me and he obviously did not want to help and wanted me to jump through circles to fix my phone meanwhile it’s a problem with YOUR product. They wanted me to reset it (which I already did) and then if it didn’t help come in and have my phone sent out and I told him I cannot be without a phone I need it for work and their solution was I can go buy a new phone until the phone comes back and return the new phone etc. He brought over his supervisor named justin and you can tell right away he didn’t want to help either. This is by far the worst apple experience I’ve ever had. I called the apple hotline and they were willing to help me right away and not have me jump through 1000 hoops. Overall this was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
I wish I could rate them higher than this but I was throughly disappointed with my visit this time around. After nearly 6 years of trading my phone in, my experience was sub par at best. Not only was a disappointed to find out the phones are completely sold out this year, but the date to receive them through shipping is nov. 3-10th. I accepted this and just went ahead with the appointment anyway to order the phone. The specialist was meh at best, sweet but meh. Clearly was getting frustrated when we were making mistakes. Didn’t really know anything regarding the application and quite frankly seemed bored/ upset to be helping us. I’m overall just dissatisfied and disappointed.
Was told that I needed to wait on a line and wear mask when entering the store. So they get to dictate the terms of my shopping experience. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I refuse to shop there or anywhere else so long as there is a mask mandate.
Staff is rude to people with mental illness I have bipolar and I was up early and my mood fluctuated as I’ve been manic not sleeping plus these phone problems for a second and the guy on the phone was so completely rude to me I was humiliated literally people like him are the reason why people with mental health and their lives they make it so we don’t fit in but we’re allowed to buy every product they have but they don’t even support us. my dad is a doctor and could not believe how he was talking to me but we’re on our way there now so he can apologize because nobody yells at me nobody in this country for mental health I don’t care if I drop on the floor and her Tourette’s you don’t know what anyone goes through so he needs to mind his business in mind his job. #BOYCOTTAPPLE

Hard to get an appointment but quick when you get one. But the genius did try to make me get a a new battery for an new I pad. I just got a new charger and everything was fine. Not very happy about the try to up sale.
Had a horrible experience here every time until the 4th time I went in and Keith helped me. He turned the 3 bad experiences I had around and because of Keith is the only reason I am not giving this a 1 star or no star review. Keith made sure everything got taken care of and 5 stars to him and a person and employee and his knowledge. Would give 5 stars now but the first 3 trips were very bad glad I met Keith!

I came in at 11 and made an appointment at 1:15. I was a little upset I had to come back in 2 hours but my experience there made up for it. I usually have good experiences at The Apple Store but this time was different. One of the sales reps named Jon really did his best to make the experience enjoyable. Very friendly, comical and eccentric(a little too eccentric for me but a pleasure for sure lol). Even when assisting other customers and employees he was still very engaged. He made the hour and fifteen minutes fly by and if I need to make another visit I’m asking for Jon for sure. If I could give him a 10/10 I would.

Very well managed. It’s a busy busy store (especially during the limited number of people in the store during COVID + the holiday season) so I would strongly suggest taking online appointments. They usually have everything in stock. The genius technicians are super helpful and nice. The sales reps are great to, and plus, very patient!! I actually sat and backed up and and transferred data from my old to new phone (since I had to trade in my old one) and the sales rep was not agitated or trying to hurry me. Overall, friendly, warm, and fun apple store!

Long wait time even purchases, regular week day, unfortunately employees are not helpful not friendly. We ask five times same question no answer...we just want to know if they have 8 plus 256 but they are saying just wait. Easy question easy purchase but not nice answers, no smiles... We wait for 28 minutes for just one answer and purchase.Finally john young guy help us very good than we bought it.. he was very good so now 4 star.

Just walked in to the store to purchase an apple watch. They said they did not have any available appointment for the rest of the day even though 2 apple workes wondering around not doing anything but acting like they are busy ameturly. I hope other stores doesnt treat me the same
Worst customer service ever.I went to this store 3 times, one worse than the previous one! First time they said they only attend by appointment but 5 of their shopping employees were doing nothing but standing at the wall waiting for nothing. Second time, we bought 2 Mac Pro but our “shop assistant” we’re literally being treated rudely by the “business manager” (a low-height man) in front of us. This business manager literally told him “don’t bother me I’m leaving” to his employee in front of us in the middle of the shopping process (employee was trying to open a business account for us). Then he called to another coworker named Camilo and he finished our purchase and was very kind and helpful.Today I made an appointment for help with the Migration assistant (to transfer data from my old Mac to my new one) but when I got there they told me that I should make a tech appointment instead a regular appointment so I should wait more than 30/60 minutes. I explained I just needed someone who look if I was doing the transfer ok since I bought all the accessories but they were rude again. I asked for the manager (Justin) but again I found another rude employee (what a surprise!) I personally said to him that Camilo was a great help and I also told him about Camilo was the one with great customer service skills there and the manager literally told me “I personally disagree with that” (?!?!)Please, next time you need APPLE’s good customer service and a healthy business atmosphere AVOID THIS PLACE!
I came in with an appointment (definitely worth making an appointment you get the undivided attention of whoever is your tech for the visit) but my tech Alex was a LIFESAVER. I had an issue due to the fact I haven’t backed up my iPhone 8 since 2019 and when I tried to do an iCloud backup it failed and froze the phone and I nearly lost all my photos, even the two prior techs I had spoken to before I got Alex stated it’s extremely unlikely I al ever be able to recover those photos (which to me was a huge deal because of covid with this being my first pregnancy I wasn’t able to have the father in on any visits so ALL the photos and videos of each visit were on the iPhone 8!!) but Alex came and spent over an hour with us, worked his magic and was able to securely get the iPhone 8 back on and I was able to recover all of my photos and videos!! Highly satisfied thank you Alex !! Your a lifesaver dude !!
The majority of the staff were pleasant but the one young fella with the brown curly hair needs to work on customer service skills. I bought the iphone 11 over the phone and was told that I would receive help at the store to set up my device which needed a Sim card transfer. This guy was basically shooing me away, telling me that I can simply set the phone up at home. I tried to explain to him that Im not the authorized person on my phone plan and would need additional assistance, but again he rushed me away. Now Im home, a day later with a new phone with no calling abilities. I have to wait until t-mobile opens to get some sort of assistance. Thnx
I came because the battery on my MacBook Pro does not work anymore and my Mac would not turn on. I made an appointment for 1:05 and didn’t meet with anyone till around 1:30. The “genius” told me he had to run diagnostics but couldn’t do that with a computer that wouldn’t turn on. I obviously came here to try and solve the issue as to why it wouldn’t turn on and it was obvious it was because of the battery not charging (it was on and not charging past 1% the night before). Instead, he tried to sell me a new computer and told me trying to fix my MacBook Pro was not worth it. I showed him a link on the apple website that entitled me to a free battery replacement for 2016 & 2017 Macbook Pro’s but again told me that he needed to run diagnostics. This was very frustrating because I am a college student with finals starting next week. I also needed to buy a new laptop charger from the same person and I came home only to realize he gave me an iPhone charger.
They have visitors (customers) who are in need of service so well organized. We were in and our. Pandemic ready at all times

I’ve only come to this store a handful of times over the years, but I recently had a great experience and wanted to share.. After traveling for a year in Central America, my iMac had completely stopped working.. I asked a local computer repair shop and they wanted $75 to diagnose the problem so I went to the Apple Store where they offer free diagnostics.. I made an appointment online to drop it off and when I arrived at the store on time I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seen.. The first meeting was quick and easy, as I explained the situation to a young knowledgeable Mac employee.. I left my computer at the store and received an email the next day saying they already determined what the problem was (a bad power supply!) and they went ahead and replaced it already.. When I told them I hadn’t authorized the repair yet they offered to reinstall the faulty part and have it ready for pickup that afternoon.. But it turned out the total cost (parts and labor) was less than the cost of buying a new power supply online!! The total was $150 which o gladly paid.. When I stopped in to pick it up, someone came out with my iMac within 5 minutes of arriving, and explained thoroughly the issue and the work that was done.. They told me that if there was any problem with the machine I could bring it right back, but honestly it has worked perfectly ever since I got it back!! All in all, I had no problems at this Apple store and would recommend visiting here if necessary.. Pro tip - always make a reservation online if possible, even if you’re purchasing something.. It makes the experience much easier!!

I visited this store multiple times and got pleasant experience for every visit. Recent experience iPhone 12 Pro issue. Unfortunately one of the rear camera broken. I went to Apple Smith Haven Store to fix it. Front staff helped me to get in touch with technician. Technician carefully listened to my problem and replaced my device with the support of manager. Manager solved my issue for screen protector, provided some additional tips for iPhone 12. I definitely recommended this location.Thank you Apple!
I always get great serve. The young assistants are patient and knowledgeable, their amazing.That’s not to say there’s no room for improvement, but in comparison to other locations, I’ll wait for the service at this location.
Bought a new iPhone online. Chose store pickup. Simple pickup. Not setup. I received a time to go. Arrived at that time. Checked in outside and was told to wait at a number and someone will bring it out. 5 minutes turned into 25. During this wait I noticed people being serviced from a separate line. This happened at least a dozen times. Apparently they were “shoppers”. Any one of those 12 associates could have handed me my phone. When I finally got it, it took all of 30 seconds. I can’t help but think that this store is run by a manager with zero common sense. Apple needs to take a serious look at their management trainee program. Never again. #INCOMPETENT

Came to purchase an apple watch series 6. The manager tried to do me a favor and moved me from the regular line to the express, the representative there said we have it in stock but I cannot help you with that purchase and then advised me to move to a line next to the regular line and it would take 20 minutes to be serviced. Keep in mind as of now 20 minutes have already passed.I am now on the line for the apple watch, which I am assuming they refer to as the reserved line with a promised 20 minute wait time and I will be serviced. An hour has gone by and I have been skipped by several people and was told it was because I did not have a reservation. It is actually funny because when I did go to book a reservation, there was no option to, which I assume was because they were booked completely. If I had known at the time, I would have stayed on the regular line because several people who had a reservation did not show any appointment confirmation number or anything and were serviced. The customer support for that line left me hanging until I asked what was going on as well for about 45 minutes. So, I left im sure $400 dollars isnt worth much to them so the store wont really care about this review. However, I hope they use this to better their customer service.

Had an incredible experience at the mall with great staff. They were not only helpful but also very prompt in isolating the problem. I came with a defected apple i phone x and they replaced it the same day (actually in less than an hour), that too out of warranty. Also, they gave me a years subscription of Apple TV absolutely free! I came from India to visit my fiancé and she took me to this store. Thank you apple Smith Haven. You guys rock!

Apple has terrible customer service. Yesterday I purchased $1600 Pro Max. When I went to the store today with an appointment, they said my order is cancelled. Meanwhile, they didnt even send me a cancelation email. I only received an approval email which is why I drove an hour on a Saturday to pick it up in the first place!I offered to pay on the spot since I had an appointment, but they wouldnt even do that and said I had to order online all over again.A company like Apple acting like a 3rd grade store. These service flaws are overlooked by many people because Apple is so popular among users. Really very very disappointed...
Hopefully your apple products work fine, but if they dont, the setup that this Apple Store has during the pandemic is great. Drive in, they help you out and direct you to a parking spot, then take care of your issues while you wait in your car. Steven helped me with my AirPods today, he was a huge help. Just have an iota of patience and your experience will be 10/10.

Didnt pick up my iphone after spending a fortune, they had long line that is 45 minutes behind, after saying my appointment was 5 to 515 mixing genius app with express pick ups and regular pick ups..With covid just nice!! Dont give a pickup time if you cant honor it. Then called to have it sent to me they couldnt with canceling the first one.
I never had issues with any of my iphone until iphone12. My phone sometimes does not ring when people call me and synchronization of the Mail app does not work properly either. Emails come in with hours of delay. The apple store here at Smith Haven Mall just sent me away, told me Id have to make an appointment online. I spent 2 days with Apple Online Support and the problem is not solved, they dont even text back anymore. $1000 for a phone... As I said, never had an issue with my iphone, but the way they treat me now might change what manufacturer Ill buy in future.

The security guy who was at the entry of the store on 12/30/20 at 7:45 or so was really nasty with me and my family and said if you come back to and Im here you will not entry to the store, I hope he is not in that way with every person who viste the store. The people who work there are very nice. They are helpful. They take the time and assist me with my devices. They are good to people with disabilities. If you let them know you have a disability they will walk you through the steps and help you fix issues with your devices.
The line gate keeper blad with glasses is very rude! If you ask questions starts waving his hand and almost screaming. Tried to confirm I was in the same location and he walks off not to want to speak with me. While I may not be from the area something as simple as confirming I’m in the right store for my appointment
They were mobbed, but we had an appointment and they were on the ball. Friendly, efficient and helpful. My daughters apple phone was not purchased at this location, but they did all they could and a little more to help. When the staff member learned that the earbuds were missing from her order (that was not made here), he gave her new earbuds and put a huge smile on her face. They couldnt help, but pointed us in the right direction. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice Apple Store. Very helpful and friendly staff. Always busy in my experience but there are better hours to come here, depend what you need. But they do their best and trying to minimize waiting time.
I paid for apple care so I would not have a problem. I took my daughter phone in for a screen repair and they did not have the part I was told 2 to 3 days it would be in. It has now been a week with several calls to the store with no results. I was directed to their service caller who checked on it for me and after 20 min on the line it’s a miracle they now have the part in. I was better going to a local repair shop and getting it done. This I why I don’t like apple products their service is horrible.
It was great 8 months ago before COVID but now unfortunately it takes a week to get an appointment and the lines are out the door. I have faith however they will figure it out.
Amazing staff! Friendly, welcoming, and supportive (Meeka & Omar). I cant begin to express my gratitude towards these two professionals that walked me through transferring my devices and tech difficulties. I love Apple products and loved the time and attention these professional support staff members provided along with Tom and Nelly at the set up station.
Despite what at least one reviewer said, I respectfully disagree. Yes the store is often crowded but the cue moves quickly and the staff is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE!

I bought my IPhone there the other day. Service was good, wait time not bad. Sales and management were very good. Even the security guard helped out with the sale. He ran back to the manager and told him everything I said.
Try reaching somebody on the phone. Impossible. I know they’ve been busy and understaffed but a week to speak to somebody is a bit much. Had I spoke to somebody I would have known that I had to make an appointment to go into the store now that they’re open. Had to make 2 trips.Manager more concerned about social distancing then helping the customers.

Went in and got a new IPhone. Wait time was about 15 minutes. The Door greeter let me know I was going to be next in line. Sales rep was very good and knew what he was talking about. The store manager came over and introduced himself and asked me some questions about my old phone. Everything went as good as I expected. I will buy there again.

The lack of standard store layout disorients me and I walk in, do not buy anything, and walk out.The way Apple treats its customers and employees is despicable.You have to wait for service and the only place you can sit are stools that seemed to be designed for grade school children.If Apple wants me to wait, at least give me a comfortable chair to sit on!

My daughter needed her MacBook track pad fixed. That was a last day of her summer classes and final assignment. Richard was amazing! He tried many different ways to revive her computer and finally was able to fix it! Huge Thank You! A great example how an employee helps to shape a positive image of his company.
Very pleased with my outcome but the wait time was awful! From 3pm-10pm I had to wait to get my phone service but once I was in they were attentive and quick to resolve my issue and I walked out in about 20min or so with a brand new phone free. Which I originally suspected would happen but it’s always a better experience when things go smoothly as they did on this Apple trip. Only advice I would give is if at all possible stay away during seasonal and weekends it’s super busy! Also, you can easily book an appointment, only reason I choose the walk in option is because online the reservations were taken until next Saturday and it was imperative to get my phone fixed.
Make an appointment for the genius bar if you need repairs. All employees very educated and friendly.
