Ive gotten waxed at many places over the past 10 years, and I always have a fantastic experience at European Wax Center. It is the best that I have found in the Portland metro area. The center is clean, the staff is friendly, and my wax specialist is always on time. A special thanks to Shailee for her attention to detail. She does a flawless wax every time. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived.

I’ve been going to this location for about two years now. I’ve had a very good experience, Melina and Shailee are incredible waxers. They are fast efficient, professional and fun to talk to while you’re getting your hair ripped out. Thanks ladies, you are amazing!!

Picture this...Im in my early to mid 20s. Im still bold and invincible, reckless some might say, because the less I spend on my brows the more I have to live my best life, right? So I ask to have them done at the nail salon while Im there for a manicure. Well, and I know youll be shocked, imagine my surprise when I get to my car and realize that one brow was perfect and the other had been THRUST back into the 90s...So thats when I started going to European Wax and Ive never looked back.

First, Ive been to EWC many times with no issues. Today is Sunday 9/5. EWC just called to reschedule my 2:15 appointment today because my esthetician is unavailable. Things happen. I get it. However, the next available appointment they offered was 2 weeks out. Now I have to scramble to find somewhere else to go by Friday as I have an event to attend. The next closest EWC to me is 10+ miles away. Youd think they would try to accommodate clients sooner when they are the ones cancelling. Another reason to support local businesses and not corporate franchises.

Hey!I love the ladies there are very sweet and I loved talking to them.But I was left with very unsatisfying results. I still had hair left on my legs, my sister had to help me pluck some. Not smooth at all, still feels hairy to the touch.Not spending $200 on hairy legs and pits and bum. You’re better off doing waxing yourself. 👎Very dissatisfied :(

I go here regularly, because its a feel good place! I absolutely adore Shaelea, although I cant spell her name, right off hand! I have so much fun visiting with her! Shes so personable, that any discomfort I feel from getting waxed is quickly forgotten! She makes it so easy and comfortable, even when she is waxing places that normally would make me shy!Shaelea is so professional and so down to earth. I have never had a cleaner, faster wax! I ask for her each time, and even if I have to wait longer, I will wait for her schedule openings.I have seen other people at European wax center, and they are ALL good. Its just that I love visiting with Shaelea. I really recommend her so highly!By the time I walk out, Im always in a better mood than when I walked in. Its me time and worth every penny!

The ladies here are wonderful. They are friendly and understanding whether its about changing an appt or guiding you thru your first session. They often have different promotions/deals going. They definitely encourage you to purchase the products they carry but are not pushy about it. Declining is always an acceptable option. I wish there were more locations.

Melina is fabulous! She was so friendly, knowledgeable and made my first wax appointment feel like I’ve been going to her for years! I’ll be sending all my friends to her, for sure!

My waxer (Kaitlyn) was SUPER NICE. Although she was waxing my lady bits, it wasnt awkward. Amazing job as well! Highly recommend.

Melina was absolutely FANTASTIC! She was so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable during my service. She gave me tips and tricks to do at home to make my experience better with her. All in all I will always go back to her, she did a beautiful job 💜

Wow!!! If youve been waiting to go get waxed, this is your sign to stop waiting! Melina was amazing for a first timer Brazilian wax. I saw her reviews and am so glad I chose her. I was relaxed and comfortable, and it was so fast. I expected to feel pain but other than a few sensative spots it was easy-peasy, go treat yourself. I had such an enjoyable experience that I bought a years worth of waxes and booked myself another appt.

1st time getting waxed. I got my neck and cheeks cleaned up trying to grow a beard. I was surprised at how easy it was. The place was really clean and smelled nice. Sierra was really good at her job and was able to provide me with tips on how to keep my beard looking clean and neat. She also explained to me the best products for the thick hair and how to keep it nice and shiny. I will definitely be back for the upkeep. Thanks Sierra you rock!!!!

My wax with Michelle was awesome. That activity first thing in the morning, isn’t necessarily my favorite idea, but I left giggly and super happy about the whole experience.She was great about me jumping around and made me feel super comfortable.

Worst people everCancelled on me twice and refused to refund the expensive package. Their corporate call center apparently doesnt have managers or any other corporate contact options.Im a former beauty industry worker myself and this is not how guests are supposed to be treated. Extremely disappointed in how terrible the service is up here after having good experiences with my previous location in AZ.

Was so happy to have Michelle here in Oregon to continue her wonderful care of my face. I started with her in Arizona. She is knowledgeable friendly helpful and kind. Totally recommend Michelle.

Ive been using the body wash, body scrub, and body lotion from their Strut Lavishly line and theyre AMAZING. Briana recommended these to me and I couldnt be happier. Not only do I love the scent of these products (does it come in a perfume because I need it!), but Ive noticed a big difference in my skin since using them, particularly the body scrub. Ive been primarily using the body scrub on my arms (where I unfortunately tend to get some ingrown hairs or weird bumps) and my bikini line and both are so much smoother. Definitely recommend these to anyone thinking about trying them!

They are really good at their job. I get my eyebrows waxed there for $18 which isnt too bad. They use specialty wax that only their chain has. Its a comfortable experience. They take their time to make sure its exactly how you want it. They will even sample products, like eyebrow pencils, on you. I love it there and only go there after discovering them.

Went in to get my bushy eyebrows waxed and came out with perfect looking brows. My experience was so pleasant. Rosa, who waxed my eyebrows, was friendly and listened to my requests and left them exactly how I wanted! The receptionist, Briana, was also super helpful in helping me find a brow gel that I loved! 5/5!

I wish I liked this place because its close to my house and its convenient but I never love my brows when I leave. Plus whatever they put on my skin after I get waxed makes me break out.UPDATE: After posting this review I received a call from European Wax Center letting me know that they received my review and would like to give me a free eyebrow wax to win me back. I was very impressed that they not only read reviews but make attempts to make it up to their customers. I decided to give them another shot and had a wonderful experience. Savannah was very accurate and made very sure that I loved my brows. I am totally coming back, EWC won me back!

Not going to lie I came here expecting a big noticeable change and having that fresh waxed and trimmed look.The change was subtle but it was just what my brows needed to get the perfect look!

From Europ Wax I always leave very happy but yesterday I tried this place where I was attended by Lydia who did not feel like working. I did not put any powder, and she did not have to put oil to relax the skin. The result is that instead of removing my hair, I resurrect.she does not know how wax works so instead of removed the hair, she shaved my legs!!!!she was more aware of his phone than of my legs! 140 dollars in the trash

Ive been to many Wax Center locations before and the service here was consistent with my other experiences - Maria at the front desk was welcoming and very knowledgeable! My wax specialist recommended a body lotion to help give me the best results - I love the scent and it even helps my hair grow in slower! Great experience - I will be back!

This is the only place I let wax me anymore. After multiple awful experiences at other salons European Wax Center was a breath of fresh air. I have seen a bunch of different waxers, all of which did an amazing job. I bought a pass which saved money and along with their professional makes it painless to go get waxed!

I just got my first ever Brazilian wax! My esthetician Shailee went above and beyond to address any questions or fears that I had. She was so professional and comforting that it was almost impossible to be uncomfortable with her (other than the very obvious discomfort from ya know.. the whole waxing bit). I cannot say enough about how amazing Shailee is! I went in timid and terrified but left knowing that I was taken care of by an incredibly professional and capable esthetician. She was also very knowledgeable about products that could help me prevent the ingrown hairs that I typically struggle with. I will absolutely be back!

I was nervous to get my eyebrows done for the first time but Briana at the front desk reassured me that I have nothing to worry about and she was super nice and gave me some samples to help with my skin. My brows came out looking fabulous thanks to Savannah! I totally recommend her for brows!

Welcoming and comfortable environment. Sierra was very friendly gave me a full chest wax which I was expecting to be a lot worse than it was. And she didnt even laugh when I yelled ouch! Will be back again.

Ive been waxing with EWC since I was in HS. Ive been to ones in multiple states. And I think I have finally found my favorite location (sorry Rainbow in LV).What makes a center great is their politeness in helping you find a reservation that fits your schedule. Flexibility in changing times if needed and forgiveness if you accidentally missed one.They have great promotions and products that help you save. I was super impressed with their Pink Tax campaign which convinced me to get the exfoliator product.My wax specialist Anna was great. Quick and painless. She listened when I said the wax was warm and made she she did good clean up strips. I couldnt be more happier that I found a wax specialist thats amazing at making you feel comfortable. The conversation was easy and Im overall impressed with the quality of the wax and how great my smooth legs feel. Go request her!

Got my brows done here for the first time by Melina, they came out exactly how I wanted. She listened to the fact that I didn’t want them too girly. The receptionist, Briana, was pretty friendly and educated me about prep and after care to avoid ingrowns.

Sarahi did a great job with my facial wax. Would recommend her to all my friends.
