Its a nice park. But there are alot of homeless people. Some are living in there cars..theres no security

This is directed to the owner of this establishment. As a business owner myself - it is utterly unfathomable as to WHY you would keep a bartender liked Cedric who is rude, kicks people out for not buying enough, yells at people, etc. He gives your business the worst reputation. Are you trying to go out of business??

I didn’t think there was a place like this. It’s a wonderful place for non-alcoholics or people who don’t drink. The atmosphere is super mellow. The music is keeps your chilled out.... and the most interesting thing to me is that it’s all based off tea. I usually drink tea daily at home but it’s something I did growing up with parents from the islands. I ordered a regular tea ☕️ and it was amazing. All the products are natural.

I used to be a regular customer at sutra, but after being out of state and visiting this location I will not go back. The bartender (young long hair, with dreads I think, guy, was very rude about me bringing my EMS dog (I didnt know as theyve changed policy), so I returned without dog out of curiosity, and was not mistaken: he is just rude by nature, I sat at bar 5-10 min. waiting on service while staring at him texting on his phone and then asking me what I wanted but in a rude way: either your order smthg or I will ask you to leave. I almost cracked up there, but I had no time for that and went to a better kava bar.

What a waste of time and money. Times are hard so spend your money wisely. Pay for something that taste good. The vibe was awful

I love the chill vibes of this place. Very simple menu. Tastes a bit funny but makes you feel relaxed. I like how the play lo fi beats which set the perfect tone for the place. The server was very cool and helpful when picking for your first time. This is a new experience and I liked it very much.

We had never tried Kava before and honestly Id never drink it again. Kava tastes so strongly like dirt that I dont know why anyone drinks it. The other drink they served (I believe was kavasutra) also wasnt good. The only reason Im giving them 4 stars is because the staff was so awesome. They were so nice to explain to us what it all was, why its used, the effects, and gave us some samples of a few things to try. I wont ever return because I dont like Kava, but the asthetic of the place was very nice and relaxing. I liked the environment, just not the drinks.

Horrible experience. Bartenders were cold and short worded. I was asked to leave after 30 minutes and $30 because I used their restroom twice. Once to pee, second time to wash my hands after smoking a cigarette. Ridiculous

Always a good time. Real lake worth staple the bar is ran by better bartenders than any of the others on this ave and the drinks are surprisingly high quality. They have tons of experience with these products and it shows.

A nice place to hang out with friends

I havent seen the bar during the day, but such a cute shop and the night vibe is so relaxed. The locals might even be TOO comfortable here.. but easy to make friends or chit chat! Best part is, if youre new to kava like me, the bartender is experienced enough to get you exactly what you need the whole way through.

This is chill place with good music, I recommend a punch in the face, for the price its one of their better drinks there, and the flavor is not bad considering the kratom content.

Pretend bar tender told me to leave because he didnt notice I purchased a kava. So I didn’t give him any trouble I went outside sat on a bench and smoked a cigarette. Then the guy follows me outside demanding I leave the property. Very unprofessional and I will not be back. Nobody deserves to be treated like that. And after reading the reviews it seems like a lot people are treated very rude and the owner keeps deflecting when he comments. Which means nothing will change. There was plenty of people there not buying anything and the bartender was just laughing it up with them. Plenty of kava around besides this place.

Awesome atmosphere! Some guitars and congas laying around for anyone to jam on... its got some dope artwork and is a super clean spot! Cedric took amazing care of us and was extremely knowledgeable, answering all of our first timer questions. Theres also a super cool, comfy hang out spot around back!! Definitely coming back to make new friends!!

The Lake Worth lounge is another cozy spot for decent kava at happy hour, though the offerings outside of that are better. The guru is new and its good. The set up is like the Delray lounge, and there is a back area with seating. Many locals frequent the establishment, and theres a visitors from all over. Just a chill vibe all around, from the attentive staff to the easy atmosphere. This bar has been here for awhile now, and seems to be one of the places that offer Lake Worth its uniqueness in the county.

Ever since I turned 18 Ive been going here. Im turning 20 this month. I love the variety, and the bartenders treat me well. Ive been coming so frequently that everybody knows me there, even the other patrons- so its like a second home. It has a great ambience, cool music selection, trippy videos, and its so relaxing. A great place to meet up with friends or go on a date- and you just cant beat the location.

Worst kava bar in the area. There are like 100’s of kava bars within a 15 miles better then this one or any Kavasutra.

One of the staff kicked me out after an hour because three drinks in an hour isnt enough to just be hanging out here what?? I think that a $10 drink every 20 minutes is perfectly acceptable to be hanging out and socializing with the other people there. The guy was incredibly rude and aggressive when he said it. Worst kava bar experience Ive ever had, hands down.

My favorite drinks are the Rose Latte (get it iced!) and the Brad Pitt. The drinks have always been delicious and consistent, which is very much appreciated! The service is great; the staff and owner are always friendly and welcoming.

Thought this place would be as beautiful as it’s put out on social media. Definitely not. I’m Pacific Islander and love to drink kava on occasion. Told them about my roots and they insisted that they knew my culture better than I. The bar tender told me in “my culture” women are not allowed in a “kava bar” and that I needed to “go outside and make them a sandwich”. Whoever the corporate owner is of this location- I hope you don’t fall under this value or moral.

This place has some good vibes, but I went there to meet up with an old friend. Its definitely a new environment for me-- may or may not revisit.

Ive been going to kavasutra for months since I moved to lake worth. I liked going there because the staff is great and the people are real. But today I was insulted by the employee and and told I need to tip better. Ask the employees there know what the only drink is that I order and this dude couldnt even get it right., Javi is his name. He was in a bad mood and then threatened me if I dont tip better I will be the next person to get banned. Im surprised that kavasutra would hire someone with this type of demeanor. I spend hundreds of dollars a week there and go there to relax before and after work. I definitely got a sad and negative experience this time around. I hope the company doesnt make the mistake and hire any more unhappy and disgruntled employees.

Ive only been there once and I found this place to be cozy, friendly, and a cool place to meet an eclectic group of people. I was not having one of my better days and this place made me forget all about it.I really look forward to going back and giving this place its fifth star.

I love this place, I can come and be my self and relax in an alcohol free environment. The staff has quickly become family and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. The management is fun and treats us and the staff like lon time friends. This place is better than my living room

I was brought over because I had a card for a free single shell. The tender behind the counter didnt seem much for words, but did stuff when I requested. I didnt really feel welcomed.The selection was interesting. They have multiple kavas, all with different strengths and smoothness. I tried funk, and while I didnt feel it at first, it definitely hit me after a bit, harder than most other kava places (mind you I was on an empty stomach)I give three stars because of the effective kava, but not so welcoming staff.

We love this place with a passion! We are regulars here we come every week and every time is a blast. The music is so nice and tge people here are funny and very sweet. Please come to this place itll change your life in a positive way.

Awesome place!

My first and only experience was devastating. The locals were outside smoking and they had their dogs jumping on people. A girl outside started singing and she sounded really good that’s the only reason I would give them at least one star. The owner was rude and condescending I honestly wouldn’t go back there ever again. Worse place to go in all of downtown lakeworth you’re better off going anywhere else but here.

Great place, fun, different! You will be pleasantly surprised when you settle into the ambiance that is kavasutra. Have an Ed_Shell, drink a hot kratom tea. Become more chatty and have a conversation with your neighbor. Its great!

Horrible staff, was ignored and snubbed by rude bartender for no reason when trying to pay for my drink. weird vibe and overpriced drinks.

Its like a bar, but without all the drunk dudes hitting on you, or obnoxious fat chicks who used to be hot in high school but havent realized that the extra pounds that college put on arent curves, or drunken fights, or cops constantly showing up to cart off someones drunk ass, or any of that.Its a chill spot with great music and interesting people.Also, the bathroom has doors on the ceiling.

Great bar alternative and excellent if you like kava. I personally do not, yet managed to enjoy myself just fine over the years. Your experience will largely depend on who is there. One afternoon there I encountered an employee so passionate that he almost made me like kava. He was great.

If youd like to try Kava their are many cleaner and safer places to do so. It was dark the staff was rude and dismissive. Severely Disappointing.

My friend and I went into the establishment so I can experience Kava. From the outside, it looked like a great and popular bar. My best friend is openly gay and as we were leaving, We dont want your kind here!. The bartender was short, stocky, youngish, with black hair. I greatly believe in karma and I only hope what goes around and I can only hope that this so-called establishment will lose money. Notice, no representativeness have come forward to make a statement towards non-discrimination of its customers?There are MUCH better places in PBC County to patronize and spend quality time. Let the bigots, homophobes, etc have this dump.Best way to hurt the owner and this dump is in the pocket book.

After years of visiting this establishment, I expected a level of respect that I was not given by the staff. After enjoying a shell and making friendly conversation with other patrons, I was approached by the staff and was told to leave. I asked why and they refused to give an answer. I feel that if it were a legitimate reason, then it would have been explained and I would have had no problem with leaving. However, this was not the case. Both myself, and the group I was with were subjected to mistreatment and as much as I USED TO love the place, I will NEVER SET FOOT IN THERE AGAIN unless it is to warn other customers of the danger. Short end of it, avoid prejudice and mistreatment by NOT SUPPORTING this business or the two others owned by the same person (an ice cream shop and a vape shop). I hope this message is received and heard, it takes a lot for me to be willing to write or say something bad about someone or a business. They pushed the limit and went too far.

Relaxing place where you can meet new people and try delicious kava. The place is kept well clean and the staff are friendly its a better place for me to relax than a alcohol bar anyday. Would definitely recommend if your in the area to come by and visit.

Not the best kava bar I went too but certainly alright. They have a wide variety of kava options from just straight kava to shots and teas and coffees. The atmosphere gives me a weird feeling and its really dark. I do like the couches and the arcade machine though.

Great place. First time and it was very nice. Had a really bad backache and rotator cuff pain and the Kava took it away completely, the positive vibe I had for hours after was icing on the cake.
