We went down to the show room to test the new machines. We had tested them three years ago but continued with our old leasing company because they had given us very good service and we had experience with them.we did lease one machine back then and found the service to be very very good, so this year we leased four flour model machines and some stand alone scanners this period. The standalone machines are really great to work with, better than the previous machines by a good thumb or two. The service has been very good and we are satisfied that we are with the right company for our service needs. We are a mortgage bank and therefore are copying and scanning all day long and need machines that can handle the loads and prompt service when a machine needs service.I lived and worked 10 years in Japan working in Japanese companies and i have found that a lot of American companies that sell Japanese products talk the talk; that they understand and imitate Japanese business traditions with their customers.I have found that this is a big lie because Americans in general do not want to meet the responsibilities of following Japanese business traditions to their fullest with their customers. They are more worried about the bottom line then building Long Lasting Good Will ( GOLDEN WORDS) with their customers.Maybe it is because the customer base changes so much here in America. In Japan the customer base is made up of business families and men and women who have been in business for well over 10 to 20 years. To retain business you have to step beyond the bottom line in some cases to retain that long time relationship or build a long term relationship. I found that this firm and the men and women in the firm do understand the meaning of bring Japanese service to the street. and that is why we written all of your leases with them with the foresight to build an excellent relationship that will help us perform our service with our customers as best as it can be.We have worked hard to build our relationship with our customers and back office work is essential part of that work. So we need reliable and dependable partners in all of our trade.Joel Watson

Service call 9/10/2021Equipment ID B13889We have 2 Ricoh MP 4055 and 1 IM C300 copier/printers; one of the MP 4055 was reporting certificate error issues which we could not clear.Called Office1 and was answered by a very pleasant and warm agent; it took less than 30 seconds to identify and authenticate our account. Once we described the issue she immediately scheduled a tech for a service call - never even asked if we could try troubleshoot the issue ourselves like previous providers.Gabe was the tech that responded and as soon as we spoke he already knew what the issue was and set the time for his arrival.Gabe was excellent and went beyond what we expected as he worked on the other printers and helped optimize the current settings, updated firmware, and made sure we knew how to access the admin config and was comfortable doing so.We were so impressed that requested Gabe is assigned as our preferred tech for any future calls.Thanks again for all your help,Kingston

Office1 provide excellent IT support. Ive worked with Joel M. and Nick W. they are great. Friendly and great problem solvers. Curtis in the Solutions Dept. is always helpful. Great service and thats why our company switched to Office1 for IT as well and our office machines.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their representatives are deceptive. We constantly had problems with their products. Their service representatives were slow and not knowledgeable. Stay away from Office1.

We use Office1 at the company I work for and they are always on top of whatever we need. Kent is usually our tech and he always makes sure to explain the work or keep us posted on parts etc. Have had nothing but great experiences with everyone at Office1.

Be careful with this company. Its not clear what their relationship is with Ricoh Aficio and by the time you finish interacting with them you might be charged double what you agreed to over the phone. That’s what happened to me. I spent a good 30 min on the phone working through an issue and being sold by one of their IT techs that I should sign up for unlimited care package for $399/year. In the end I did not go with their unlimited care package but made the mistake of not clarifying what I would actually be charged. The sales person verbally told me that their rate is $75 but that my issue would only take a half hour. I assumed that $75 was their hourly rate. Beware, $75 is not an hourly rate or even a minimum charge for the service call. $75 is the amount they charge for a HALF HOUR of service over the phone. There is nothing wrong with this rate if that’s what Office1 chooses to charge, but unfortunately, the time period component of the billing rate was never disclosed and I foolishly agreed to being charged $75 without knowing the time period allotted. After bringing this to their attention the managers repeatedly diverted the conversation to other topics and would not change the charges. My advice to future customers would be to clearly ask what you are receiving for $75, because by the time you call Office1, who knows, they may be charging $75/min and a half hour call will cost you over $2,000. And by their logic, that charge would be your fault for assuming ;). If Office1 doesn’t train their sales and IT people to clearly convey their rate or flat fees then they will continue to turn off customers.

I have been with Office one for going on 6 years or so (Before they were with alternative solutions). I recently decided to shop around. It turns out in there contract says they will can increase contract price up to 10%. Every year they increased 9%. So they compounded that year over year.On top of that we were payign $450 for a printer that we were told was brand new in 2015 but in reality it was a used printer that was made in 2007. Not an honest company. Shop around
