I wish I could make the a negative, I went for my eye exam gave my insurance which I confirmed they take before I went they took 15 to review my insurance and then still billed me full price. It felt like a used car experience they were pushing thing you don’t need . There was an older couple there and all three ladies crowded them and were tag team them and pushing them to purchase it was very shady looking and sounding … Don’t go here they have only 6 frames for the special it need to be shut down
Alex and Molina were a great help and really explained everything to us so that we understood what was best to get for my aunts eyes. Alex had a lot of patiences with my aunt when it came to her constantly changing her mind. Molina help my aunt understand what she was saving and buying. Those two are the dynamic duo of this company, in my opinion.

Always short staffed. Went to pick up glasses that were ready and was told to wait that people were ahead of me...when I already paid and the prescription bins were right there. Need more people with better customer service skills. They were also moving very slow. Last time there for daughters eye exam it took over half hour to get me checked me. Disappointing.

Alex at this store is the worst, went to the store when it was supposed to be open and had to call the store for her to answer the phone to come unlock the door, since we could hear her in the store screaming. when she unlocked the door she was crying and saying she didnt unlock the door because she was fighting with her man on the phone. Not the 1st time, several times weve been in the store and shes crying about her man abusing her and why she has the scar on her chest from him. very unprofessional and not a customers business to know your personal problems. Shes incorrectly adjustedy glasses several times that i was told by another young lady there that it needed to be done by an optician. But theres never 1 there, so she has ruined my glasses. also, she has flirted with my man, whom she has seen with me in the store several times. please someone buy this girl a new pair of pants shes always wearing them striped pants lol I thought it was a uniform but no1 else wears them 😅

So this review will be short and to the point, My first impression of eyelab is not a good one .Walked in and waited several minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, something I look for when spending my hard earned money.When i eventually said Hello Can someone assist me ? I was quickly brushed off by a young lady which did not even make eye contact.I asked for a business card and she said she had none and thanks to another employee i was able to get one .I have yet to expericence any form of cutomer service that would make me feel comfortable in spending several hundreds of dollars on new glasses. I will jist drive the extra distance and go where i went 5years ago ( Americas Best)I will rec or returm to that location. Store# 73Manager Alex
My EYELAB store at University and Commercial is the place to get a great deal on eye glasses. Alex showed me the frames that were included in the $99.00 progressives, but I didnt like any of them. I looked at other frames in the store for a good while and Alex made me a deal within my budget. What a great professional saleswoman/optician. Goodbye Walmart Optical. Hello EYELAB Lauderhill from now on.
Horrible service. Nice people at the store but this organization is not organized. Had to make 3 trips to get my prescription fixed. Their customer service is non existent and after selecting menu options system hangs up on me every time. Ive had similar issues at other Eye Lab stores. They need a complete overhaul of their processes. Ill never shop with them again.Still have not received any reply regarding my request to have my prescription corrected. Even after seeing my review online they have not resolved my problem. I cant contact the store since number does not work and My Eyelab customer service has created two cases for me and not resolve any of them (8+ days and counting). How about giving me a call so I can stop posting on here.

This has been the worse experience with getting my first pair of glasses. I came in for the 2 for $59 special to find out the selection was limited to 4 choices in which 2 were bifocal leopard print frames. Ok I can look pass that, but the customer service has been horrendous. You come in the door, youre greeted... But thats it. Prepare to stand around for at least 15mins before someone else acknowledges you. I explained to the employee that I needed these glasses for a job. She informed me that they will take 3 days. I was happy. I come to pick up 5 days later and told that theyll be delayed. Check back tomorrow. I come back only to find out that thats not even possible & it takes at least 7-10 to make the prescription lenses. The inconvenience of having to drive out of my way to the the store because they dont answer the phone was enough to boil my blood. Customer service isnt any help and the website doesnt give any updated information. The website told me my glasses wont be shipped until March 3rd. I decided to go into the store today and guess what, my glasses are there. This has just be very very annoying experience. The value frames are ugly BTW so be prepared to spend money if u want something nice that fits you. I waited a month for my glasses.

Okay.. So its been two weeks since I ordered my glasses. One pair came in, still waiting on the other pair. I wrote my review below at some point in between and received a response from the store owner. He addresses me as JEFF!, my name is NALINIE. Clearly stated above. I havent called the number, Im just over it. I now give them 2 stars, instead of 3.--------------------------------- ---------------------------------I initially went there for their 2 for $59 special. They had 5 whole frames on display to choose from.. in the end I went with the buy one, get one special, which I couldn’t really afford. I made this clear to the gentleman who rang me up, and he gave me the option to pay half then and half at pick up. He still charged me the whole amount, which left me in a tough spot! I didn’t realize until the next day, and I just figured it’d be Easier to just leave it alone. He himself told me they’re not great about answering the phones when they’re busy.Staff wasn’t on point with service, waited around for no reason. Lack of communication and detail. You get what you pay for . Will go elsewhere next time .
Yesterday I experienced the worst customer service. I visited the eye lab for an eye exam. I tried to open the door upon arrival, when I walked up to the door it was locked, the man inside made eye contact with me and continues doing what he was doing. I assumed that the maximum capacity due to COVID-19 was met. I patiently waited for an hour outside until a man walked up to the door and the tall white bald guy motions him to come around. I followed the customer inside the store and when it was my turn I asked the guy how long was he going to let me sit out there until he told me that door wasn’t in use? He proceeded to tell me he didn’t see me even tho it’s a GLASS door that I’m standing in front of. If this wasn’t a last minute and last option thing I would have left but my primary is out sick. I will never come back to this place or recommend to anyone! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.The young lady that helped me do the exam was very attentive, she also apologized for the guy in front and she helped me right away. If it was just her service I would give 5 stars but because of my overall experience I give 1 star, if I could give 0 stars I would.My appointment was at 12:25 I ended up being seen at 1:18 I wanted to be here early so I got here at 12, I waited outside for 1 hour and 18 minutes. In that hour I called the store 3 times in hopes I wouldn’t miss my appointment. The man on the phone ensured me that I would be seen and once someone is finished and they leave the building I will be let in.. Not to mention a few people walked up tried to open the door and left when they realized the door was locked! The biggest question is why isn’t there a sign up on the door indicating there’s another door around the side of the building??
I NEVER waste my time with bad reviews but this place is by far the worst establishment I have ever dealt with. The list does not end- poor comunicación, lack of organization, awful customer service, rude staff- individuals are clueless!

Well. I bought a pair of glasses. Buy one and one in june 2019 and im writing in 1/8/21. First pair I m not even used because is frameless and cant see with it. Second pair started to peeling off so, I took it to lauderhill location and a desk girl told me that I have to pay some money out of my pocket. But lens still under warranty. When the girl told me the amount of money I had to pay 😳😳 $165.00. I said. If its still under warranty. Why do I have to pay too much if is a factory damages? I asked the girl to print it out the quote sheet and she said. Im not allowed to print it out your quote.. what a joke!!!! Any way I decided to go to other place and I paid $225.00 for a pair of lens+exam. By the way DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE GIVING MONEY TO THIS GUYS.

The lab is dirty. They do not sanitize the counters and/or the chairs after each customers. I had to wait almost one month for my glasses to arrive in the lab. I was never notified my glasses had arrived. Then I had to await almost 2hours to JUST pick up my glasses. They have no system for customers, so other customers were arguing who was next. A complete mess. I would not recommend this Eye lab to a blind bat. Horrible!

Went there last year got 1 pair of glass they told me the other 1 wasnt ready I call back about 3 times still not ready they told me they would call when I should pick it up. They never call so didnt receive no bogo.. false advertising plus the 1 I got the screw keep falling out
Worst place ever!...... I received my glasses 3 months ago and I cant see clearly out of it after a virtual visit with the Dr. The assistant was like you have to wear it for a week and youll be fine, well its been 3 months and Im here stuck with my eye pain and double vision. I called 2 times was told I have to wait until Dr comes back and then theyll give me a call, waiting 4EVER.
Worst service in the world. The employees are super rude. You’re not even acknowledged when you walk through the door. You’ll be waiting an hour minimum for horrible service. Quite frankly they’re also ridiculously expensive.

Worse customer service Ive ever experienced. I went in 4 weeks ago, and was told my glasses will be ready in 2 weeks. Its now been 4 weeks. Ive contacted customer service several times and have held for a representative only to be cut off. I then called as if I were going to schedule an appointment, and convinently Im able to speak with some one. I asked to cancel my order and was told some one would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Its now been 8 days and no one has contacted me. I just spoke with another appt. rep. who placed me on hold and transferred me to a location in Mobile,Alabama. Im in South Florida. Horrible service. I just want a refund.
Alex the manager its an extremely rude person. Shes a thief. My mom went to get her glasses done and they treated her horrible and charged her for an exam my mom didnt need. Called corporate but turns out this place is a franchise...I will put a bad review in every place I can.
They push and push to get your business and when they get it you end up being the one to harass them about your order. No phone call no email no text message to let you know that that 5-7 day order is going to now be 4 weeks and it’s not because they told me it’s going to be that long but because I’ve been calling once a week just to find out if my order still exist. Yes it will be ready by today or tomorrow except a week later still nothing. It’s a no for me.
I definitely do not recommend it, doctor working only Virtual and although they charge me the normal eye exam fee and doctor didn’t find my true eye number . I have a headache and I’m not feeling well I have to go another doctor.

I scheduled an eye exam for me and my child. Got there 15 minutes before whole another was waiting to be seen for an eye exam. After 30 minutes I left. Not enough staff for the large crowd inside
Staff was very helpful and friendly. It took longer than expected to be taken for my appointment but that was because they were giving all their clients the same focused attention and service. Jeff, Vanessa, and Kim have been exceptionally helpful even though I have had to go back a few times due to trying out contacts for the first time.

If youre looking for a great deal on glasses this is NOT the place they lure you in with a to for whatever price and then they tell you the exam is free if you purchased the glasses OK fine but you end up paying $500 in the end. And then they wont use your insurance even though youhave insurance saying that it will not make a difference so I ended up paying $500 when I only walked in thinking i may spend about maybe a 100 to 200 since they Supposedly had a for $69 for 2 of course all of those are hideous so you have to go the price up which is fine but then they charge you a ton of money for the actual lenses. I literally had to wait almost a month to get my glasses back and I had to call them. They never called me and told me they had them.

This place was great. Let me start by saying I definitely had my doubts due to the other reviews but I decided to take a chance due to their great deals. From being pleasantly greeted upon entrance to making sure we were properly taken care of the entire time while in store, this place did a great job. Aside from this place having great technology to ensure quick service, the customer service is what really won us over. Hassan and Jason were polite and made sure we were completely satisfied customers without trying to shove a sale down our throats. We will definitely be coming back here !

Andy was nicely dressed and articulate. He greeted me with a smile and answered my questions. He was very informative with the products but new with the computer system. Bob assisted in the process and made me feel very comfortable. I was prepared to leave because the price point was higher Than I was wanting to pay. Bob then made me a deal I could not refuse. Andy then reexplainded the product and additional amenities I was receiving and I was extremely excited. It was like I treated myself to two pair of identical glasses with great features that I would not have been able to afford just in time for truck driving school.Thanks to Andy and Bob I am starting my new year clear.

Bad service I just went in there literally a couple minutes ago to get my glasses readjusted and I couldn’t get anybody to help me plus there was no other customers at all. Just me and all I kept getting told was “ fifteen minutes, five minutes “ and after 20 minutes I decided to leave after I was told “she is coming out just be a little more patient” which I was but could no longer since I had to go back to work. I just didn’t know it was so hard for a readjustment.
I came to Eyelab a few months ago with insurance i had a thorough eye exam and I was waited on by a rep who told me that my progressive lens would cost me 300 with insurance. I was floored at the cost and left to shop around a better price. I recently came back only to get my prescription and was waited on by Andy. He asked why I only wanted the prescription I told him of my last experience and the high cost. He seemed to be shocked by this and immediately showed me a lesser value lens that was to my liking. I ended up purchasing the lens for $123.00 (without insurance)and received a second lens for free. Really!!!!! My mother and I were so shocked that she ended up getting two pairs herself. Andy gave exceptional customer service I will definitely recommend Eyelab/Andy to anyone I know. Thanks so much Andy

The best ophthalmologist!!! Everyone was great here! Jeff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Jeff provided many options for me and provided important information. He was always assisting his colleagues as well. Samantha was great too. She made sure every customer in the place was being helped. Worst place to go!! I ordered contacts on December 8 they gave me some to hold me down until my order will be here. I had lost one side because I had dry eyes, came back in to ask if I can have another side since I lost my contacts the lady did not want to give to me saying it’s policy. I told her I can pay she refused after a long altercation she finally gave me one. After that I didn’t get no call from nobody to let me know if my order was there. When on the phone with customers service they told me I’m the one that is supposed to call which don’t make any sense at all a whole month and nobody in the store check packages or felt like to could let me know I walk in on January 25 to pick up my order. Those two girl that work here are extremely slow and will give you the worst service ever ! And I was in the store for 45min to pick up one order. Just unbelievable
This review is on the overall company... aside from the nice people that work at this location. The service here is awful ! I waited 3 weeks to get a pair of glasses that i needed ASAP (to drive) i put them on, only to find out they got my prescription WRONG! Awesome. They “help” me out and give me another eye exam to send it to the lab AGAIN which i asked if it could be expedited due to the fact that this was a mistake they made they tell me “yes it’s expedited” a week later NOTHING! Every time i call customer service they keep pushing back the date i receive my glasses. I paid $160 for these glasses at this point i feel like i got robbed. I wish i would have gone to another eyeglass place because this company is a joke. A month of waiting to receive a pair of glasses smh.
Sales people were very nice and very helpful. Selection of eye glasses for the special of $69 with the free exam was very limited, two rows. Going for the eye exam was not pleasant, first of all the doctor was not there so the procedure was done virtual and it was not clearly explained as to what was going to happen at the same time the gentleman at the front desk appeared to not want to be there. Very unprofessional.
People were nice but apparently my insurance doesnt cover there and they told me I would have to go somewhere else to get my eyes checked. So I guess make sure your insurance covers you here before making an appointment.
I went to my eyelab with my glasses prescription in hand. Went in and ordered 2 pairs of glasses. This was on 1/17/19. I had a promise date of 1/31/19. I called to see my order status and theres no order listed with my phone number. I look at the receipt and they put a completely different number and area code. I speak to someone its delayed. I call the store yesterday they say my glasses will be ready on Valentines day. I call this morning to see if they are there and Im told they will be ready in the next 4 to 5 business days. Customer service then gave me a credit of 75 dollars to go towards my next pair of frames but why would I even want to get anything there again. Ive been waiting for my glasses for a month. Why put a promise date but not inform the person buying your products about the delays. This is crazy. Ive never had to go so long without being able to see. Im hoping I get my glasses soon so I can be done with this place. I wouldnt recommend anyone go here. Better off going to swap shop for glasses they keep their promise.

The sales promotion is to get you to come. The buy two for 69.95, the selection is very small. And if you cant find one from there, you could buy one at regular price and get second pair free. Which I did get an 49.99 frame and paid 160 for at the end. When I asked about my second free pair, I was told I had to pay 195 additional for the lenses. So I left the second pair, I couldnt afford that and have never paid more than 300 bucks for glasses. The promotions are just hooks to get you to come in . Im very disappointed with the service overall.

If I could give them 00000 Stars I would. I have been wearing glasses for 10yrs and Ive never experienced such INCOMPETENCE!!! The customer service was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! My glasses were promised to me. The owner went to pick the glasses up from the corporate office. Corporate office told him they would be ready and they were actually CLOSED!! Ive called several times to get no answer. Then after finally getting an answer after 7 times, I was placed on hold or transferred to an answering machine. My entire family wears glasses and they are due for new ones in August. Im so happy I came first before I bought my family. This is the last time that they will EVER get my business!!!

I had one of the best customer services experience at this store a few weeks ago. My sun glasses with prescription was broken, then i decided to use my insurance to fixed them. on the begining, i had to wait around 1 month and i did not receive the service that i wanted it, just when the new manager, David, the sales Manager took mi case on his hands and helped me to resolve it, i got my glasses back.Thak you David!

Horrible I called and made an appointment for my son, gave all my son information. I should up to the appointment then was informed that due to my child age he could only be seen on Thursday. Why the hell was I not told this before the appointment was made. Rob the manager was horrible did not even show his face..

The people there were polite or at least the girls were damien was only telling i have to wait for my perscription or refund for a month even though i just paid cash and have already waited a week and got nothing! but thats not the only problem they never have a real doctor in the office and they didnt tell me i would have to wait 2-3 weeks like some other reviews i read; until after i paid them and of course then i was stuck in world of casual customer service. If you ask me they wont be in business a year from now cause they rarely have more than one customer at a time there and now i know why. Remember if you go there you better find out what your getting into before you pay them, cause once they have your money you will wait a long time to get what you paid for or if at all get a refund.............
