My husband is very protective of his mother (89 years old), and is very demanding when it comes to receiving what he feels is good customer service. HE was pleased with this service!

Overhead garage door OGD, company change my spring and roller of my garage and charge me 1069.08. I was desperate to get my car out. I find out the cost of the parts $160 or less and labor cost 900 dollars for an hour job. This is scamming hard earned money from customers. You will be better off to pay the service charge than being over charge because you are desperate. Please everyone, trade with caution when dealing with this company, 5yrs warranty is not supposed to be charge for 5yrs. I will not recommend overhead garage door, OGD to an animal talk more to a friend. Run away guys.

The only problem I had is I asked for them to email me the quote and all I received was the invoice for telling me my door was not repairable. I dont have a problem with the $35 work fee but would like to have a written quote for replacing my garage door.

We have had other garage door companies tell us that what we wanted to do wasn’t possible, or that it would cost us twice what we ended up paying with with OGD. I have always wanted our garage door opener moved to the alley-side door of our freestanding garage, but nobody wanted to do the work. Push came to shove recently when our house-side garage door was acting up and the frame was splitting (it’s an old garage, over 50 years).Vince from OGD came out and repaired everything so that our house-side door works again (manually) and our alley-side door has the opener. It is now almost whisper-quiet. I am very happy, because this is one step closer to my dream of making my back yard a yard again rather than a driveway!Vince was a pleasure to have here. He did excellent work, communicated clearly, was prompt and respectful, and gave us a great price for his good work. In lieu of a handshake, I wish I could leave ten stars. Highly recommended.

My technician Charlie Glaze was great. He was friendly and professional and he took the time to explain everything carefully. It was a pleasure dealing with him. Unfortunately, my entire Genie unit needed to be replaced. The new unit is a Liftmaster. It can be controlled with my phone and can be used to open the garage remotely to allow for Amazon deliveries, etc. The new unit with installation came to $749, which was pricey. My only complaint is OGDs texting system where they let you know your technician is on the way. Its not very efficient. I received the text, but my technician didnt arrive until an hour and fifteen minutes later. That was a little annoying.

Poor customer service. This company charges for every service. My keypad stopped working 6 days after the 30 day warranty and the company couldn’t provide me with any instructions on how to reset the code over the phone. Instead they said I would have to pay to speak with a technician. Poor service and bad product.

What do you do when headed to work and the garage door does not go up?!?! Call Overhead Door of course. Prompt reply, quickly dispatched and tech had all the parts needed!!
