Rented a car dolly and after reaching my destination I noticed they gave me a dolly with no proper straps or strap pulley. Uhaul contacted me after 3 hours of putting roadside request. The issue was remedied 7 hours after initial contact. Requested to speak with management and nothing so far. The replacement dolly had twilight issues and was stopped my police for improper lighting. Would avoid this location as they do not have man agent to resolve such issues and they do not properly inspect equipment prior of releasing them. A 6 hour trip took me around 20 hours due to lack of simple inspection.

I dont want to write this review because more people will book this place but they deserve the recognition for the good work they do. Love the self return. U hauls tech is improving very well. The staff here are friendly and efficient. Quick to assist you. And you can be in and out in 10 mins (if your renting a trailer not sure about the time it takes for a truck rental. I e rented a trailer here 4 time now same wonderfull experience). Whatever you guys are doing keep up the good work.

Had a very good experience with hitch installation on my 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Yessica the manager did the work herself and was very friendly and had a lot of knowledge on how to install it the best way. Would recommend anytime!

The staff is fast friendly and professional if you communicate exactly what your needs are for your rental they will help you with the best option I clearly needed a vehicle for two days but it look like it may went or want to go for 3 days. They showed me the best option to rent a vehicle and save money. I have to give them 5 stars because they are customer-driven and they are willing to help.

I tried to fill up two propane cyllinders at this place, guy sitting at the propane station on his phone ignored me, other employee parked a truck told me power went out as soon as you came. Went into the office and lights up..Those guys should stay home and receive their pay. Since they do nothing there.

BEWARE! If I could have zero stars I would. This location wired my brake controller wrong to where my trailer brakes were always on. I took my vehicle back to them and they said that it was good to go. Hours later I hook my trailer up to head to the campsite and I have no trailer brakes. Fast forward a bit, the patch wiring that they did the second time ultimately cut through most of my factory brake wire which finally came loose and broke. This rendered my vehicle and trailer with no brake lights an hour from home with a 25 FT camper. I ended up having to fix this issue myself, which defeats the entire purpose of paying someone to install this in the first place. This location will not call me back to resolve this issue nor has customer support successfully escalated this issue. I keep being told the same exact thing from support (that this has been escalated to the regional manager), however I have not heard from anyone. This seems very odd for such a large safety concern.

They dont care about their bad reviews. Very unprofessional how they behave and talk. They call my husband my man instead of just calling him by his name or saying Sir. Their app doesnt work most of the time. This is the most difficult location to rent from, I recommend the Snellville location or any other alternative to Uhaul.

I ordered and paid for some packing materials online so that I could pick them up quickly. My order was not ready when they said it would be and I had to wait inside the store while the employee gathered the materials and went to find another employee to ask about what should be included. In addition, the employee who helped me was not wearing a mask. Evidently company policy does not make masks mandatory and local management does not see a need to keep customers safe.

Ive used this uhaul location for dropping off a vehicle after a 700 mile move, renting a storage unit, and renting a sprinter van for a local move once I no longer needed my unit. They have been very helpful with everything I needed. The uhaul app makes it easy to reserve anything I needed. The parking lot is very tight and overwhelming when its busy, but the lot attendant offered to park and back up my truck so I could unload it. Very nice people.

I had an excellent experience at this U-Haul Store. They were extremely busy, but the customer service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and patient, and they went above and beyond the call of duty to help me with an electrical issue on my hitch.

The worst experience ever. I will never go there again. If you decide to go do not use their blankets because its infested with roaches. I use a blanket when I was moving and have since found a couple of them in my new house. Also make sure you are with them when they inspect the truck because they blamed me for the roaches and charged me a 75 dollar cleaning fee. I have never had roaches in my life but they would not return my money. They blamed me for the roaches they had. They employees are rude and the manager has to be the most non competent person on earth. DO NOT USE THIS DIRTY ROACH MOTEL. They find any reason to charge more money.

Charged $50 late fee for returning 9 minutes late. More than the cost of the 1 day rental. Will never come back to this store. Would suggest you look for others over this store - dont be fooled by the low rental rates

Worst customer service!!! Watch out for Mark! Extremely rude when you ask to make changes about your reservation. He should definitely not be answering the phones! My full rental day should be until 4:15pm and he insists that I need to return it at 9:00am. I still have to return it by 9 and was charged a full day!!!

This is currently the worst rental experience of my life! I can’t get in touch with anyone from Uhaul! I’ve called 5 times in 4 days and been on hold for 2 hrs total and still have yet to speak with anyone that can help!

I reserved a rental on June 27th 2020. I realized that I had to change my date and location to pickup the 10ft UHaul. I spoke with Tamika she was working behind the counter that day, I explained to Tamika what happened and that it was very difficult to try and reach or get through to customer service with a very long hold, Tamika was Wonderful!! She immediately called the customer service number and explained my situation, Tamika booked my new reservation right then and there. I just want to say Thank you to Tamika for exceptional customer service!! Thats the way customer service should be!! Great job 👍 Tamika!!

Phone just keeps ringing they don’t pick up .

Terrible customer service! I called to make an appointment for a hitch installation. I arrived 30 minutes early only to be told that they could not do it. After discussion they said that they could and instructed me to wait outside. I waited for 45 minutes without a single person updating me on my appointment. I finally asked only to be told that they could do it but only once they had completed what they were currently working on. When I asked for a time frame the guy shrugged his shoulders and said that he had no idea! I left! I would not recommend here for a hitch installation!

I rented a trailer from this location. The people at this location were very helpful and patient. For Example, because the lights on the trailer wouldnt come on after it was connected to my car, the woman helping me took the time to diagnose the problem thoroughly even to the point of testing the fuses in my own car. It was great not to be just blown off with an answer like I dont know, something is wrong with your car. She was able to give me a few recommendations as to how to solve the problem and was really cool about it.

Dont rent from this location. Like some other reviews, they charged me for returning the truck with less gas even though I spent my own money to refill it back to what it started with. They also charged twice the amount I actually spent for gas.The app to rent after-hours is also faulty so make sure to save your own photos of everything they ask for to keep in your own records so you can use them to get your money back when they screw you over.

Davis with the hazel eyes and his UHaul Brother with the other hazel eyes were very nice and helpful. We rented a van and was able to get a decent rate. Not too bad for the money and saved money on the fees. Very nice staff and I’ve honestly used this location more than four times in the past and I’ve always gone back because the customer service and price is fair and I don’t even live close to this location but due to the friendly customer service I don’t mind the drive. Definitely recommend this location to friends and family.

The most terrible service I’ve ever experienced! Tried the overnight pick up equipment and I was unable to pick up a van because I tried “too many times” in the app with the dumb process they have. Even after calling twice and being out there for over 45 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Especially if you need equipment urgently or for anything important. Just terrible!

Avoided other locations in the Duluth area when I saw the reviews of their locations. This location next to the LaZ Boy Store on Pleasant Hill has polite, courteous, helpful and happy staff. From reservations to checking out the truck and bringing it back, these guys were hopping to make sure that you had what you needed and quick to turn the trucks back around to get them ready for the next person. Great attitudes among the staff abound here. Many thanks to you all for a great rental experience.

Someone marked the wrong gas mark on my contract. as if it was more gas than it actually was. it was on 1/8 someone mark 1/4. I drove the vehicle less than han 10 miles and gas. Thats incompetence. I never feel comfortable doing business with U-Haul ever. I called customer service twice and both reps never extended my reservation and no notations as I requested. Whats the point of having customer work from home if they cant do their job.

My husband got a hitch installed to his SUV here and it cost in total $131. They only charged about $37 for labor (half an hour worth). He is mostly satisfied with it, except he said when they cut into the bumper they cut a bit more than needed.

Horrible experience with a hitch install. Went with them because the installation was more involved than I wanted to handle myself (drilling holes, etc). The install took almost three hours, in contrast to 45 minutes quoted by the manual for a professional installer. Next day my wife noticed a rattling sound coming from the back of the car while the car was idling. When I went under to check it out, I noticed that one of the rubber hangers is not attached to the muffler; moreover, it was conveniently stuffed above the hitch. Upon further investigation, I noticed that the heat shield was missing. The instructions for this particular hitch spell out the procedure of removing the heat shield, trimming a small portion of it off, and then reinstalling it back. In addition, two out of three plastic bumper retainers were missing. Went back two days later, talked to the guy that actually performed the installation. He mentioned that the manager told him not to reinstall the heat shield. Of course, by that time the heat shield was thrown out. I chatted with the manager, and she said she would order a new one for me. It has been two months since the incident, and I have not had the pleasure talking to her again. I must have called and left messages a dozen times asking her to call me back, to no avail. She is conveniently either not there, or super busy at the moment.As a side note, I could almost swear I heard a grinder going off in the installation bay when my car was the only one there (instructions call for a 1 1/8 hole saw). I am scared to take the hitch off to see what was done to the frame of the vehicle.

Can not trust their reservation. I made a reservation for a truck for 24 hours three days ago in person, went there to pickup and they told me they can not rent for 24 hours on the weekend, only for 12 hours, have to return at 7 AM, wow. I had everything lined up for the move, and no truck at the last minute. It has caused me a lot of headache. Never renting from there again, there are lots of other places around.

SCAM ALERT! AVOID THIS LOCATION! - If you plan to drop off the truck after hours be sure to take a picture of the fuel gage and save your gas receipt. I returned a truck with half a tank of gas, but when I got the receipt they charged me $35 for fuel, claiming the truck was at 1/4 tank. According to the odometer I only drove 20 miles so how is it even possible that I could have used that much gas?? Clearly they are intentionally ripping off customers and other reviews show that this is a trend at this location - BE CAREFUL DEALING WITH THESE UNETHICAL PEOPLE!

Very convenient. I reserved online and it was ready to go when I got there. Even on return, I was an hour late but nobody made fuss about it. Polite staff!

Say what you will about u-haul but Ive been coming to this location for close to 20 years and never had any bad experiences. I no longer move around a lot or need to rent trucks and trailers like I did when I was in my 20s but I do stop in once in a while to get propane tanks refilled and some packaging supplies. Their prices on boxes and tape are very good and the propane is also extremely reasonable. I use large cylinders and the few places that will refill those charge an exorbitant flat fee even if you only need 10 or so gallons. I also have a bunch of gas grill sized tanks that I bring in and they only charge for what you need and they top off the tanks and give you more gas than you would get at a tank exchange (and its still a lot cheaper). I know because Ive weighed them.As for their equipment, their trailers are built like tanks and I have always liked their trucks better. Lower loading decks and Mommas attic. Ask for a new one though so you dont get one with a million miles on it. Ive had bad luck with trucks even from commercial business fleet rentals like penske when Ive needed a truck with a lift gate and had a poorly maintained malfunctioning truck. Id go to uhaul every time if I could.

Ive been here several times to buy some boxes and the staff is always polite and I usually dont have to wait too long. The parking can sometimes be a little tricky but Ive never not been able to find a spot.

Long wait and got billed when I picked up van then billed again after 8 hours then billed again after returning it. The charger service fee for refueling the van plus the cost of the gas AND topped it off instead of putting only what I used. Van was full of dead bugs on the console and many dents and dings on the body. This place is a junk yard. Bad decision to go there and btw my bill was $165 for 2 days for a $19.99 daily van.

HORRRRIBLE...... I have used this U-Haul locations several times before and had awesome experiences. But it only takes one time for me to have a horrible experience and that does it. One employee made them loose me as a customer for life. He was rude and act like he was doing me a favor noooo Im doing you a favor Im giving you business. When I arrived it was early morning around 7am the employee had a attitude from initially me coming through the door. I had made reservations on line so I was told that the 10 ft. truck had a ramp on it so I can use to load a washer and dryer on to the truck hence this was the only two pieces of appliances I was going to pick up in another city. So when I noticed the truck did not have the ramp. I told the employee I wanted to get the van since the price per miles were cheaper an since I was going to have to figure out how I was going to get the washer & dryer loaded anyway. The employee acted like I was spending his money he had a attitude out this world and was not customer service oriented at all. After I was rudely told I had to cancel that reservation and start over which was fine. The employee was rude af the whole time he was re-doing the paperwork. But what cut the cake is when I returned the van the same employee lied and said the gas was incorrect like I didnt know how to put gas back where I found it. I have been driving for over 15years I know what the gages read and how to read them. Instead of arguing with the employee I said whatever and left. This company does not have to worry about me and my money again I will pay extra money to rent a u-haul even if its a couple exits up or down.. just so this particular u-haul want get my money every again.
