Everyone here at Lawton Kia is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable by providing drinks, snacks and television in a cozy waiting area. They even gave my toddler a toy car to keep him entertained! Love these guys!

We called the day prior to arriving & informed the salesman that our cap was $15,000 & the price online for the vehicle was $13,000. He told us to come by. We test drove the car, inspected it & when it came down to signing for the vehicle it was $24,000. Then, it wasn’t even the same vehicle we called & inquired about that they assured would be there? It would be nice to save customers valuable time by listing the correct price on the website instead of using that as bait. Also, during the test drive we had to stop for gas? We went to Honda down the street & left with a car within our budget with FULL transparency.

I was shopping for a vehicle online and found two decently priced Kia fortes that I was literally willing to buy over the phone. The salesman starting making excuses saying that the cars were underpriced online. After making me wait a good while on hold, he quoted prices that were literally DOUBLE that were listed online. I understand there is to be some price difference between online and reality, but a near 100% difference? This dealership does not have my vote of confidence after this interaction.

Drove 2 hours to get a car that their website says was $15,400. When I get there they inform me that since they get the cars from places other than the factory the prices are higher. So the car was gonna be $27,000. Wouldnt of been so bad if they had told me that when they called that morning before I drove there. They also said their website is handled by a 3rd party company that the corporate office deals with. They were nice and not pushy but Id verify prices on the phone right now before going up there.

My husband and I had an excellent experience here! We drove away with brand new 2021 Kia Sorento that was on the show room floor. I fell in love with the interior! They were very patient with our kids and made sure we were comfortable. We test drove it and our salesman was super nice and so professional! We were able to get my windows tinted very quickly. I called today to get an oil change. We are past our oil change date which is my fault. But they were able to get me in there within an hour of me calling. I have been extremely happy with the Lawton Kia dealership!

Was in for a oil change, to make a long story short a salesman (Vinnie) made the visit horrible. Stuck his nose where it had no business being. Told me there are other places to go with a cheesy grin. If he wants customers to go to the other places I dang sure will from now on!!! Good luck with that Vinny, and good luck with the short man complex. The service manager was great, too bad going someplace else takes money out of his pocket.

They constantly flood auto buying sites with false advertisement. When asking about numerous cars they have listed, they always blame the site for the misrepresentation of pricing. This has been going on for years. I contacted one particular buying site and they got back to me saying the dealer sets the prices and they have no control over that. Im contacting the OMVC over this. I suggest others do the same.

We are selling vehicles over MSRP.I then went directly to their website, took a screenshot of their prices listed directly on Lawton Kias website. *POTENTIAL BUYER BEWARE**AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP**DISHONEST PRICING*I was interested in a vehicle that was advertised on cars.com as well as the dealers website. The price had a $1,500 difference between the two websites. I attempted to contact them to obtain the correct price. I was placed in contact with Colton. Colton unfortunately could not give me a straight answer and I was getting the run around. One of the first questions he asked me was “are you aware of the chip shortage.” I had a nice little chuckle to myself with the question. That just shows that they are attempting to draw customers into the dealership with an attempt on a “bait and switch.” I’m just glad I found out their dishonest operation before I ever stepped foot on their property.

Came into Lawton Kia in March after my car died. Not in a good position to try to buy a new car but that was before I met Vinny. That man will move mountains, swim the ocean, and help you walk over fire to help his customers. I completely hate the car buying process and politics of it but this was relaxing and comfortable. I didn’t feel taken advantage of everything was up front and honest. Every avenue that could be of help was, everyone was extremely nice. Don’t think I’ll ever buy a car again that’s not from Vinny.

Asked me to pack up my family and appear from Texas to buy a car they assured me was available in the morning then said oops about the 6-hour drive my pregnant wife and 3 kids endured in our futile attempt to become a Kia family.. At least we had our Nissans long enough to BECOME dissatisfied rather than starting that way. The sales professional also inexplicably began trying to relate by touting their love of an organization helmed by a black man, but the attempt was unsolicited, awkward, and said black man could not be produced upon my request.

The internet prices are not realistic. I called the dealer and the salesman confirmed that they do not put the requirements to obtain the internet Final Price on the website so that you are forced to call them to find out. He verbally told me the discount required 2016 or later trade in ($2,000), financing with them ($1,000), military service ($500), recent college grad ($500). I asked him to send me all that in writing via email, but he did not. I consider this deceptive and classic bait and switch. I looked at the FTC deceptive practices for dealership advertising which seems to require disclosure of how discounts are calculated. I also reported them to the FTC.

Awful experience, DO NOT buy a car from Lawton Kia. I would not even rate this circus a 1 star. Theyll lie, scam, bait and switch their own listings, this is a shifty stealership. We received two sets of paper tags, and they both expired before we received the documents to register the vehicle.I cosigned for this car, but I was filed as the primary owner. Was told this didnt matter, but apparently it did when I tried to sign the spot indicated for the cosigner and was handed a fresh contract.You are lucky she required this car and couldnt handle further stress of buying a car (especially from this dealership.)If it was just me, you would never of had my business in the first place. DO NOT TRUST!!! Drove 5+ hours to look at a vehicle that was listed for $25,000 only to show up and find out that it was actually $31,000. They said the listing price was after all of the rebates which the website did not explain nor did they in there emails about the vehicle prior to me making the trip. Salesman did work with me and come down to an agreeable price but still nowhere near the listed price. This is a very shady sales tactic and says a lot about what theyre willing to do for a commission.

I bough a brand new car in 2016, had less than 20 miles on it. Every winter when it gets cold the car wont start. The first year I had it towed to the dealer. A week later they say there is nothing wrong with it. I have videos and multiple people who have witnessed it. Every year since I call the service department and they are rude to me and my wife. I call consumer affairs and they tell me they cant help me. Please dont buy from this dealer. I own a car with 70000 miles on it that I cant drive during the winter.

Would not recommend this dealership. They run credit checks prior to giving you the price for a vehicle without telling you. They add multiple thousands of dollars to the true car negotiated price as well as to the sticker price for market adjustment and over $2000 for their lawton advantage whether you want it or not or can even use it (being 2 hours away from Lawton). Definitely a bait and switch place.

The car sales man we talked to was so polite and very helpful. However, we did not have a good experience. I called them twice to let them know we were going to be in. I spoke to two different women that took my information down and told me they’d put me in the system. That was on Monday. Friday comes and the sales man tells me I’m not in the system. Okay. No biggie. We tell him what we are looking for and what we have for trade ins. We know what we had for trade ins and they tried to offer way less than what our cars are worth. We understand being slightly under what we expected. But this was a significant difference. They also tried to persuade us to do financing with them even though we told them we had someone we wanted to go through. Needless to say it was disappointing. Especially them offering way less than what our trade ins were worth. It is what it is though. Just make sure if you consider trading in a car with them, know what you have and how much it’s worth.

Got here shortly before 6 pm looking for a car. Josh Gibson was ready (Id called ahead) with two cars for me to look at and worked with me when I said I was serious about sticking to my budget. He was patient when I need time after time to consider my options and let me ask questions until I was comfortable with my decision. Not once did I feel pressured. To the lady I had went off on I sincerely apologize as I know it was not your fault, but normally I do not write a negative review of a place. I believe people make mistakes and its not fair to judge a place over one persons actions. Onto the review i sold my 2013 Kia Optima SXL a few months ago as the dealer experience was not all that great and the quality of the car was just not up to par it was falling apart at 48k and needed a new engine and a paint job (not the dealers fault). Which was replaced after a few back and fourths, but on my first oil change this car needed a lot of work after just 3000 miles and i had enough and ended up trading the car in. No more Kia no more issues, wrong... A few months go by and I get a call saying my optima was due for service I explained to the lady I do not own this car anymore and to remove me from your system. Not a big deal, but another week goes by or maybe two and I get another call about this car I dont own, again not a big deal but this time I needed an oil change on my new car so I asked if they could, the lady said yes we even have a promotion going on if you test drive a Kia your oil change is five bucks.... Cool lets set an appointment for the same day. I explained that I dont get off till 3pm and she rest assured me that my appointment was for that despite getting a text saying my appointment was at 230pm. Well 3pm comes and I arrive at the dealer at about 315pm because I had just got off work and drove across town. When I get there the associate that helped me was really nice and understanding, but definitely was confused on what I was talking about. The previous individual did not explain exactly what was suppose to be done to honor this promotion. Also to top it all off never booked my appointment to the correct time, so it showed that I had missed the appointment despite being reassured that the time was right.... Definitely wasted time energy and gas going to a place that gave me the run around. To the associate that had to deal with my frustration she was extremely polite and professional the entire time and thank you for that.

I found the car I wanted on their website. I called several times about it. Getting someone to call me back was not the easiest. When I did finally speak to a salesperson, I asked two different times the specific price of the car to make sure it was the same as the internet price. I made sure to tell them that I was driving an hour and a half to get this car for my son as a graduation gift. Long story short, they wanted $8,000 more than the internet price. When asked why it wasnt the price listed on the internet, they said they could take off an additional $2,000. Still $6000 over the listed price. No thank you! Dont waste your time here!

Went to look at a vehicle we saw listed online. The vehicle was listed at $34,758 on CarGurus. The vehicle was also listed at $36,758 on the dealer site. Living about 2 hours away, we called to confirm availability and informed them that we had a budget between $35-40k. They said not a problem head down. We arrive later that afternoon. As soon as we arrive, they rush us inside and sit us down. I ask if we can see the car, and they tell us that they have to get our information first and tried to push us to give a driver’s license. I pushed multiple times to see the car, to which I was told info was first and more important. They obviously cared more about getting our info more then listening to customer needs. It was as if we’d bought the car before we saw it. Finally, we see the car and take it for a test drive. We like the car, so I ask our salesman, Richard, what their best price was. He tells me I’m looking at it and points to a window sticker of nearly $49k. Richard is the same salesperson we spoke with over the phone as well, who we informed our budget of and told us to make the 2 hour drive. He then proceeded to say that the CarGurus price was not controlled by their dealership and that we would have to qualify for that price, and listed some generic ways to qualify without actually giving us facts on how to. Some examples he gave us were military discount, trading in a 2010+ vehicle, Uber driver, etc.... He even said that to qualify for the military discount we would have to show a DD214... The salesman refused to move on the price (the managers job btw) at all. My complaint is that we made a 2 hour drive to go see a vehicle at an advertised price (incentives and discounts not listed in the ad, and also made up in my opinion) to go see a car that was $15k above advertised when we spoke on the phone. Part of the $15k was a dealer add on of oil changes and other small dealer services (which we would not need living so far away) for an extra $5k and that was not even offered to take off the price. This place is a joke with gimmick ads to get people through the door and take information. Richard Garcia is a dishonest salesman who wasted our time!

I am currently residing in FL while forward mobilized in Europe, I figure I can get a head start on car shopping before I get back, when I initially saw the deal (which was 3-4k lower than what Ive seen in FL), I figured Id give it shot and see what happens. Initially I received email from the sales person saying that instead of $37.5k quoted on the website it would be $51,813 PLUS DOC ($509). Despite me showing him the same screen shot all he said was I didnt see your picture, but with everything going on in the world. Shortage on vehicles, and chips, and recovering from a pandemic the market for vehicles is crazy right now. Plus there arent any rebates on that vehicle. Ok, I figured it was bait and switch scheme, so whatever. The next day I got an auto email from the dealership showing the same car listed at 39.5k. So I forwarded it the email to the same sales person, again quote the reply was Brand new vehicle, barely any rebates because unline other brands Kias hold their value. Its just where the market is right now. I am pretty annoyed that any dealership would this kind of bait and switch. I would name the sales person but honestly I think he probably doesnt even know whats going on with these false advertising. So please confirm the price before going in.

I just purchased my first vehicle from Lawton Kia and let me tell you guys it was the easiest and smoothest process. The salesman Maurice was very helpful he didn’t pressure me at all and it only took an hour and half. I’ll definitely coming back for my daughter’s first vehicle and my next.

I spoke with Colton Thomas about a car and told him I was driving in from Tulsa. And made sure to let him know I was an hour or so away and didnt advise me that anyone else was interested in the car nor did he message me back letti g me it was sold until i pulled up and got out. Horrible service. Totally unprofessional. Will never recommend doi g buisness with him or Lawton Kia.

If I could, the service dept would be a zero. Everything is upsell. When you do get service they messed it up. When we took the car back to fix the alignment they screwed up, they said we needed parts we didnt need and wouldnt fix without them. Shady!!! Will never go back. I refuse to let my sister take her car back there.

Sales rep (Business Development Associate) named Danielle N told my wife we were approved and to come into the store, my wife tried to reaffirm that we were in fact approved about 3 times, and then proceeded to explain that our car died, and that she would have to spend $10 on an uber each way to get there. My wife spent 2 nearly 3 hours there right after she had gotten off work while they took their time showing her 2 different cars, only to find out we were not in fact approved for anything and they did nothing with our online application besides give our number to their sales representative. Great company, NOT!

Unfortunately they are like most other dealerships that leave fake prices showing on their website and Autotrader to get you in the door. When asked on why there prices still reflect rebates/incentives that expired last month, no one could answer. Its very misleading and discouraging. If only dealerships wanted to change their bad reputation.

Purchased my second vehicle from Lawton Kia and had the privilegeof having the same car salesman as the first time. Joshua was absolutely amazing at ensuring my needs and wants were met and was able to get me into the new 2021 Kia Telluride. I definitely recommend this dealership. Ask for Josh!
