I love they have reasonable priced clothing options. The store is always so clean and the associates are always nice as well. The only thing I wouldnt buy from here is bedding because I bought a comforter set from here that was expensive and it ripped after about a month or so but everything else is worth purchasing.

Seems like the inventory has gone down a lot but still has pretty good prices but not like before covid.

This has been my favorite store to shop for years, but with the pandemic, Im doing very little shopping these days. I do take my jewelry in to be serviced to find out that only one piece can be found in the system. I came home to gather all of my warranties /guarantees for the store. Keep your receipts and lifetime warranties. Dont rely on their system to keep records for you.

It is a JCPenny, thats about it... you came here to get some cargo shorts and a polo shirt, you definitely didnt come here for the mall.

Martha was extremely helpful when I wasn’t sure what shoes to wear with my jacket. The store was all organized and everyone was cool. Martha just went above and beyond, she’s the only reason for this review.

From the time I walked into the Salon I had an unease feeling yes I was a few minutes early and was told to walk around until my appointment time. The stylist didnt speak unless spoken too. And after 15 minutes into my perm she unrolled one rod, then turned to another stylist asking what she should do. She was told to reroll it, and put more solution on my hair. I stated it smelled stronger. Her comment is yes it is we will only leave it on for 10 more minutes. I ask is this going to burn my hair. No we can only leave it 25 minutes max. I was then ask if I had, had covid or the vaccines. I told her I have had both back in January. She then stated some of our clients have said that their problems arent taking as well due to either having covid or having taken the vaccine. When she finished I said that is a question that really should have been asked prior to placing the solution. I was then charged not only for the perm but also a hair cut. I only agreed to a minimum trim that should have come with the perm. Needless to say I will find someone else to do my hair from now on. I am one very unhappy customer 😕 she was supposed to be a master stylist. I doubt that very much..

I was extremely disappointed in JCPenneys today. I ordered curbside service and when I got there and tapped the curbside button, it said access denied, their servers must have been down. I went inside, asyk the lady at the register and and she said I can go to any register and stand in line, then proceeded to walk away. So I sit in line at another register and finally got my items. Why did I even order this curbside?

I went to the salon to get my hair done and I keep on telling the lady to stop that was enough and she would not listen she kept on proceeding to finish

I knew what I needed when I walked in with my teen aged boys. We were there to buy the items they needed for homecoming. We parked behind the store and came in through the small appliance entrance. We were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello. Found our things, checked out. Again, great service, but as we were leaving the was a different employee by the appliances. My boys walk faster than me so they stopped to let me catch up. The employee didnt see me coming but I heard him sneer at my boys, Are you lost? They answered him politely and told him they were waiting for me.The man didnt acknowledge me as I approached, which was fine. Whats not fine is treating a teenager who worked hard for his money and chose to spent it in your store as if he didnt belong in the store or try to intimidate him. Otherwise, I like the new floor plan.

Well....i went to jcpennys in lawton, Oklahoma to return an item I purchased online. No problems with that. When I was leaving the store I witnessed a possible shoplifting. A guy passed me as we were both walking towards the exit. He had a backpack on his back with tags hanging on it. He kept looking back over his shoulder. I heard a lady with a walkie talkie behind me say a person was exiting the store with a backpack. He was only about 15 ft ahead of me and when I exited the store he was nowhere in site. I noticed a possible security guard drive by on a golf cart and a patrolman as well. I assumed they were looking for him. Was nice to see their fast response. I was quite uncomfortable walking down the long exit corridor with this guy, knowing pretty well what was happening. When I arrived at the store, I had to walk clear across the store to get to customer service and she was the only employee I saw other than the lady with the walkie talkie. I dont think I will ever go to this store again.

Ladies are nice but the younger ladies are rude and follow u around like your gona steal something. I make more money a day then they do in a week. Sorry honey I dont need to steal nothing from there!!! Learn better customer service.

I have tried using the salon 4 different times for my kids. Each time with a new stylist. I have one girl and one boy. My daughter has literally walked out of there each time with uneven hair. Right now it looks like she literally took scissors to her own bangs. I cant even fix them at home because her bangs have been cut so short trying to make them even, she has like half an inch left over. Just terrible! Dont ask me why I did that 4 times!

Did not like the false advertising on tall man shirts 8.99 black Friday and even when I told associate lady about false advertisements they were also just as confused as well.stated it was corporate fault..even 30 % still put t shirts 30 .00 to 35.00 also buying cooks coffee pot sale of 7.99 cost the mail in rebate of 14.99 is not easy no code found ..I paid 21.00 wow..ugh

Didnt have what we were looking for and with the new layout, things were hard to find. One of the salespersons was very nice and polite. The second one, we had to stop her from stocking to ask (only one around, the first one stopped when she saw us). The second was short and I felt like she didnt want to be there.

Todays shopping experience at J.C. Pennys was terrible. I could not find a salesperson to help me. There were only three customers in this are and one went to the clothing section to find help. We were in the bedding section. The bad part about it there was only approximately ten people in the entire store. There was one customer at the check out with only five items but she was taking so long to check out you couldnt ask the cashier a question. I entered the store at approximately 12:25pm on October 6, 2019 and departed at exactly 12:27pm walking and standing by the cash register to be waited on.

I think JCP is one of the better retail stores in Lawton. They have a good selection of quality products at reasonable prices. The store is clean, personnel are friendly, they stand behind their products, and its easy to locate being at the mall. Sometimes however, on days when special sales events occur, I wish they had more registers to check out.

Okay limited slections.

Theres always a great sale going. Due to the fact, we have no Carters near; this makes out perfect for me to shop for our babygirl. Then we kill 4 birds with 1 stone because we can get our sons clothes there too!

Sephora worker were great hooked me up on samples too. Love those lady always sweet never snoody.

Decorated nicely. Black Friday...so over packed. Some pricing signs were incorrectly placed so prices werent correct. They need places for people (elders and handicap etc) to sit maybe near registers, etc. The crowds were tough...

I was so pleased to actually find a JcPenny still open and thriving. So many places I have lived no longer have a JcPennys

Never help on the sales floor. They have cashiers who are usually stuck on the register where they cannot assist you on the floor. It is always TOO hot in there. Cuts my shopping trips short!

Can I just talk about the setup and ease of access of this store? I absolutely adore they have a sephora inside here. The parking is plenty, the salon is a great size as is the rest of the store. I wish kids shoes was bigger but I got side trackers anyways by the great sephora and clothing departments. I would recommend this place if youre in the area and looking to kill time or purchase any wedding items or makeup.

If you want to not be greeted upon entering but followed while trying to shop then this is the place for you. I usually enjoy coming to this particular Jcpenney. But after my experience today, Ill go elsewhere.

I am happy to see that Penneys has come full-circle and is once again the old Penneys we knew and loved. We shopped for next Christmas and saved $374.00 on coats and other apparel for our family. The discounts, clearance racks and coupons are back!! Thanks!

This is an outstanding JC Penney store. It has been completely remodeled and updated. There is plenty of staff that is ready and willing to help you find anything you need. They are Friendly and helpful. The stores very clean and bright and cheerful. It is very well stocked and has lots of Merchandice to choose from that will fit your needs.

Went in looking for a dress shirt. Came out with 2. They had a great sale.

The store was disorganized and their were to few floor people/cashiers. The ones they did have were polite a helpful.

Fair selection, but feels a bit like an up-market department store fallen on tough times. Also, needed to return an item, and daughter had misplaced receipt. Because I was visiting from overseas, and my drivers license was from my home country, even though it was in English and had a current picture, they would not accept it and required me to go home and get my passport to return the item. A bit disappointed by that, given that I wasnt asking for a cash refund, would have been happy to simply exchange the item.
