After buying a Trek road bike from this shop via phone, I eventually drove to pick it up once it was assembled. I didnt realize that pedals had to be purchased and installed separately, but the staff were extremely accommodating in helping me resolve this while I was in the store.About a week later, I revisited the shop to purchase my first pair of cleated cycling shoes. I initially had one model in mind after searching the store website, but I ended up changing my mind after trying on three other pairs with the help of a friendly rep. She took the time to explain the features on each model and ended up introducing me to the BOA lacing system.I then ended up at the shop a third time when I had trouble removing a pedal to install a SPD set to go with my new cycling shoes. The stuck pedal caused one 15mm wrench to break and a cheap $10 pedal wrench to warp, so I was desperate. A repair rep removed the pedal in SECONDS and left me absolutely speechless and forever grateful! Even though this was totally free, I decided to pay the cost to have the new SPD pedals installed along with getting a new pedal wrench thats much more reliable.The friendly and humorous banter from the repair tech was really appreciated as he showed me the pedal installation and gave helpful tips on overall maintenance. He even let me know of a bike maintenance workshop that I could attend at the shop, so I definitely marked my calendar for it.Spokes Etc in Leesburg is an amazing establishment with people whove helped me to become more comfortable and knowledgeable about biking!

High end shop that values all level of customers, highly recommended!My son snapped a chain on his mid-grade mountain bike so I called up and Adam said to bring it in, they could take care of it. The shop is high end with lots of great bikes and a great shop setup. Adam walked me through the whole repair, gave me tips, explained what he was doing and went above and beyond. He fixed the issue but also adjusted alignment, adjusted brake clearance, and test the fixed chain through all gears. The cost was more than reasonable, below what I expected. I am not his demographic and he still treated me like a VIP. My son says the bike rides better than new so thats all I need to know. Trust this place, ask for Adam!

Please do not buy SARIS BONES 2 bike each and in fact nothing from this store. I only used it once for 3 days and it has resulted in scratches on the trunk of my car and ripped off paint on the side. I’ll have to incur expenses in the body shop to get the scratches and paint of my car fixed. I am terribly disappointed with this product. I contacted Spokes Etc. Leesburg VA shop where i bought this item they did not allow me to return the product. They made me contact the Saris company directly who also declined to off any refund or credit. All companies entertain products and refunds if it causes damage. . I wish i would have ordered this disaster of an item from Amazon and wont be having any trouble returning it. I tried to support the local business instead of ordering on Amazon but regret a lot now.My car is VW Passat 2016 which is a car suitable for this product (per Sariss site). However this product damaged my car and not only i lost the $169.99 which i cant get refunded, i also will incur around $650 to repair the scratches and damages to my car. Please DO NOT BUY!

Took my Trek DS4 in after it took a hard fall which damaged the derailleur hanger and a suspension cable. They put it right up on the repair stand, looked everything over and explained that it was a simple repair which they would be able to do while I was there. They couldnt have been more Friendly, Knowledgeable, Professional, and (shockingly) Fair with the price. THANKS SO MUCH!

If you live in NOVA/DC, this place is one of the best place to shop for high end bikes, most accessories and repair work. Went here for repair work and some accessories. Their repair shop was busy but they accommodated me and delivered the repair at promised time. Clearly communicated labor, part cost and an ETA ahead in the process.Some of their advantages:(1) Prices for labor and parts, not cheap, but is on par/fair with other local shops. (2) Local means you can walk in for any warranty related issues. And they are local to NOVA with friendly staff. This is a big plus for me as I like to support local business who can stand behind their products and service. (3) High end selection of bikes, specially if you are a bike enthusiast. (4) No sale pressure for you to buy accessory/bike or overselling other services (a thumbs up to staff for it)(5) Plenty of parking and a spacious store.Thing they can improve on:Most of their bike selection is high end. It would help if they also offer medium range bikes .

I went to get my bike checked up yesterday.Im new to cycling and did not know what to expect. In addition, I was a bit intimidated walking in with my $1k aluminum bike when the bikes in the shop being repaired appeared to be minimum $5k bikes that are carbon everything.First, the mechanic stepped up right away and asked how he can help even though it was clear that he was working on something else.Second, after explaining the issue and what I tried to fix, he understood and worked on it right away.After 15 mins, he explained the issue and how he fixed it. I was very thankful and asked for the repair cost, and he said its free of charge (and gave me a few practical tips).I was very pleasantly surprised by the entire experience from customer service to expertise. I will definitely be going back and will be a long time customer.

These guys are super accommodating and very professional. They helped fix a hub on my ebike and then aligned the gearing to meet my expectations. They even helped us load the bike onto our bike rack when we picked up our bike. Just a great team.

Great experience at Spokes. Took my bike that I havent ridden for 10+ years in for a tune up. All I needed was air in the tires and some areas greased. Took less than 10 minutes and it was like a brand new bike. That didnt stop us from actually buying new bikes for the family! Now we have an extra working bike just in case. And, I love my new little (pink!) bike!

I enjoy visiting the store whenever I need something done on my bike. Ethan is always prompt, and clear about what needs to be done, how long it would take (sometimes as soon as 10 minutes), and of course the cost. He recently helped with a bad crank on my bike, and it works like a dream. Please note that they do like mini muffins and donuts at the shop!

We bought 2 kids bikes a little over two years ago. We understood that we didnt qualify for the trade up program but were looking to get what little we could and buy a brand new bike. The sales associate told us that they couldnt accept bikes we bought from them because they had too many even though I had called a few hours earlier and was told they were accepting trade ins. Spokes may be convenient for us to go to but they no longer hold our trust and we will be going somewhere else.

I bought a Trek hybrid bike here. My first bike as an adult. As a newbie, I had a lot of questions and the staff patiently answered all my questions. Overall experience buying my bike was A+ !!

Extremely fast and helpful service. They helped bring back to life an old bike in a few minutes and it rode like new. This place is in the business of making anything bike related easy. If more stores operated like this wed be in the year 3000.

The technician (Adam) fixed my rear tire, and gave me some great advice on how to not pinch the tube again. Great service and quality work us why Ill use them again.

I cant say enough positive things about my experience. I called on a Saturday to verify I could just bring in my bikes to get serviced without an appointment and Ethan couldnt have been nicer. I show up with two bikes and the shop was busy. I waited less then 5 minutes and both bikes were inspected and then everything was explained what the issues were and what they recommended. I checked both in and was informed it could take a week for them to repair everything. Given that it was the first day of spring, I totally understood. I mentioned that we were leaving in 5 days to go out of town and we hoping to bring them with us. Less then 48 hours later, I got a call from Ethan telling me everything was repaired and ready to be picked up. Im beyond thrilled. I would recommend Spokes to EVERYONE! Just fantastic service!

Went in to ask the service team if they could help with a part I had damaged, they went well beyond my expectations trying to help me with the part. Absolutely wonderful experience, definitely recommend their service team.

This is a GREAT shop. I broke a spoke and needed to change it out so I brought in my rim. I was helped by Ethan. He did a quick measure for the spoke I needed. I had him make me a few extra. I am glad that I did as I noticed a few other spokes had wear marks from the chain jumping off the cassette as a result of being out of whack but was resolved with a tune-up in the past. I did not realize that more spokes had obtained wear and tear as they were hidden behind the cassette. His measurement of the spokes was spot on. I was able to install the new spokes and get my bike back rolling with a full spoke count. The shop is not only clean BUT best of all, the staff are really great people. They are very helpful and you can tell that they love their jobs, love bikes, and love helping customers.

After doing my own research the sales people at Spokes were very helpful. The bike I had set my sights on wouldnt be available until September of 22 so they were great about helping me find an intro road bike that was the proper fit. Highly recommend working with Spokes when youre looking for a new bike!

I bought two Trek FX 2 Womens Disc bikes from Spokes in Leesburg last month for my two teenage daughters. The customer service was great. They have been riding them A LOT in the first 30 days. The younger one just finished her first 10-mile bike ride. I am thrilled that they are enjoying them. Riding bikes with them is my absolute favorite thing to do as their dad.

I went to this store to have my bike gear inspected by this nice gentleman Ethan he is very professional and even show me whats the issues with my gear how can I fix it if I want to do this myself. I highly recommend his services and I was really impressed his skills and happy with the results.

I have been very impressed with the selection and availability of the Specialized Turbo SL bikes and accessories at Spokes Etc. I traveled 2.5 hours to purchase the products that have been impossible to find anywhere closer. I have added the Range Extender Battery to my Turbo Creo SL Comp E5 even though I have managed 150 miles on just the internal battery by adjusting the assist levels. Having bike-toured across the United States in the past including many century rides, I wanted to have that kind of capability on an e-road bike. The Creo SL Comp E5 far exceeds my expectations. Receipt of bicycle purchased online met time frame provided on purchase. Technician was accommodating of adjusting bicycle seat to fit. Proactive refund of bike kick stand that was not appropriate to bicycle, appropriate kick stand was attached. Would have liked a lesson on use of gears and brakes for the child the bicycle was purchased for.

All employees were pleasant and helpful. I had two shifter cables and housings replaced on two bikes. I was pleasantly surprised when I was contacted that work was done; way ahead of schedule. Parking to unload and load bikes was a bit of a problem. Spokes Etc. will be my go to place for service and I would recommend them to others.

After a rough start this bike shop really shinned in the customer service department. I purchased an Electra Cruiser and the seat squeaked with each peddle of the bike. After one email to the owner my problem was solved when they contacted the manufacturer who sent a new seat. Problem solved! Thanks to all the staff and managers at the store.

Great customer service experience when buying a new bike - attentive, helpful, friendly, and non-pushy. The service department even helped to customize the electronic shifting programming on my Shimano Di2 GRX, which I really appreciated and certainly wouldnt have been able to do on my own. Very happy with my purchase, and Ill definitely be back! (Forgive the Green Lizard Bikes bottles in the photo - I need to get some Spokes Etc. bottles now! LOL!)

Im a relative rookie when it comes to taking care of ky triathlon bike. Shipped it here so I could train while caring for my grandbaby. Did something to the brakws while taking it apart to box it up. No rear brakes. Took it to spokes, and the friendly staff checked it out and fixed it in minutes. Didnt charge me. That is very n8ce, but the salient point was the helpful and welcoming attitude from the techs. Ill be shpping here for my next bike soon.

Fast and friendly service. I brought my daughters bike in for the initial check-up and mentioned that she had a little crash. The Spokes folks didnt ask where the bike hit, they asked if my daughter was ok. Genuinely nice people.

The team members are awesome!!! Given the climate of bike shortages, the knowledgeable team members who helped assist me each time stayed on the phone with me for hours either answering all of the questions i had to even finding me a bike that was highly sought after. I am so grateful for this company.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars and I do hope to return in the future. My first two visits at this shop were actually amazing. I cant remember the first bike technicians name (tall, balled, skinny) but he was very helpful! He examined my bike to make sure it was in good condition and actually came back telling me my bike was perfect. The second guy, Andrew I believe, was equally as amazing. I came to him with a problem and he was able to help me find the part I needed and ordered it within the same day. My third visit, the following week, was like I was at a completely different shop. I was greeted by some young guy, probably young 20s maybe (short, dark hair, skinny), who immediately was just looking for things wrong with my bike so that I would have to pay to fix them. He literally said my brakes were bad because I moved them a little out of the way so I could get my front tire off. And said we would have to get that replaced. I told him I didnt think that was necessary, and it wasnt. Then i started to explain my actual problem with my tires, and before I could finish, he immediately jumped to the conclusion that they just needed to be replaced. The problem was that I was having a hard time getting my tires to inflate due to my bike pump. I was coming to see if I should get a new one or if I was just doing something wrong. I would think, before you jump to conclusions about whats wrong, they would have tried airing the tires themselves before just ripping them out my bike and making me buy new stuff. But, they didnt. He walked my bike back there and without testing them, just took them off and replaced parts. The worst part is, I kept asking him how he knew what the problem was, and he couldnt give me a straight answer about my specific bike. Just what could have happened/generic excuse. Which again suggest he didnt actually look at the tires. I told him I was literally in the store last week and a employee there told me my bike was perfect. He basically said yea that doesnt matter. And by that time the technician helping him already changed everything on my bike and I was forced to pay. I really dont think there was anything wrong with my tires, but the point is mute now. I really hope this was just an instance of lack of training on the part of the younger guy. I really felt like he was just out to get me to buy new parts and spend money on things I didnt need. He didnt seem to care for my concerns. I want to be able to come back to this establishment, and give you all another chance. But, if I have another experience like that, I will have to reconsider.

There is a guy in this store whos name is the spokes guy, he is just so crispy and he will take care of all your thicc pp needs, and i came in the other day and told him if he could massage my bike and he obviously said yes, and so i went one step further and asked him if he could massage my meat and he still said yes, he did such a nice massage as if he had done this multiple times and he just put the right amount of oil, he squeezed it with just the right force. he even seasons his sausage with pesto sauce every night so that it remains chuuuuuuuuuuuuunky with that pesto. The spokes guy is really fat and he one said can i get 2 big fry bundles no wait actually two burgers. thanks man, keep it rock hard

I initially visited the Leesburg store for repairs to my sons bike which I bought online from another retailer and assembled myself. I steeled myself for a long delay and questions about my competence in assembling the bike. Instead, I was quickly ushered in and after a short wait, my bike was taken in, serviced and returned in less than 10 minutes. Further, to my utter disbelief, the technician told me the fix was minor and I did not need to pay! This may seem like a small act, but it restored my faith in fellow man.I visited the location again for more repairs and enjoyed the same outstanding service. I then decided it just made sense to get myself a bike from spokes etc knowing I can trust their products and expect nothing but exceptional service.

I have always had great luck here. Whether it is shopping for a bike or clothing or components. Customer support and technicians know their products and don’t try and up sell you.

Everyone I have dealt with has been super friendly and helpful during my bike purchase. Also, I brought an old bike in that hadnt been out of the garage in ten years and the service team looked it over, made a few adjustments, put air in the tires, and sent me on my way for free. No push for unnecessary servicing. That was awesome.

Loved the customer service and the patience Ewen Fensham had with while he assisted us with my little sisters bike. He was very patient and made sure we knew what were getting. He gave us a clear explanation on the helmet we were purchasing as well . Will come back for our next bike :)

Knowledgeable help is readily available upon entering store. Each time Ive been in, they have in-stock the tools and gear I need for DIY maintenance. I have not experienced their shop, but it is very clean and their technicians are willing to spend time with you and give pointers which is much appreciated as a new-ish DIYer. Easy parking garage access would make it easy to drop bike off.

Because of this, they have earned a new loyal customer.Most bike shops staff are cold, distant, and make you feel inferior if you don’t know every little thing about biking or part of their little click. I came in to purchase a bike with my daughter and the staff was very friendly and informative. I ordered a marlin 4 online because it was somewhat cheaper and I’m getting back into riding. I was told that it was in stock and would be ordered and delivered and put together within 10 days. When I called the store on the 10th day I was told the bike had not been ordered. When I inquired as to what that meant, a manager got on the line and essentially said the bike was not in stock. I then asked why it was 10 days ago I was told it was in stock? Otherwise I would not have purchased the bike online- and would have picked up one in the store. I then asked where the miscommunication could have been? I had a young man in front of me, show me the bike I picked out online, I paid for it, and was told to arrive in 10 days. Why would I pay for a bike that’s not in stock? I felt like the manager had a bit of an attitude, but he informed me they would give me a marlin 5 for the same price and call me when it had been put together. I told him I was very surprised and appreciate for his customer service, and he responded that, “well you sounded upset”. I was never rude however disappointed to have dropped a fair amount of money only to be told the bike I had waited 10 days for wasn’t in stock..I never received a phone call, instead got a very short email saying the bike was ready. I went in to pick up the bike today and the manager didn’t say a word when I again tried to say thank you and apologize for the confusion. I have to say- the only reason I gave this store 3 stars is because they were kind enough to rectify their mistake and gave me a newer bike for the same price. But they lost two stars for the lack of admitting the mistake was on their part and the very limited customer service assurance from their manager.

Just had another GREAT experience at the Spokes in Leesburg. My sons bike (we bought it from Spokes a few months ago) was having issues with the brakes. I just walked it in to the store and they happily took it and fixed the bike within 10 mins with no complaint. Their customer service and expertise is top notch, and we will continue to purchase all our bikes from them. Very happy customer here!

Incredible experience. Im new to cycling and recently bought a used bike. After a couple rides I noticed a consistent clicking noise stemming from my groupset. I feared the worst and headed to Spokes for a diagnostic. Turns out my bike is fine and I was improperly shifting. The technician showed me proper shifting technique, ran a safety check on my bike, and sent me out the door without paying a dime. I am SUPER grateful that the technician recognized my inexperience as a teaching opportunity rather than a chance to sell me unnecessary components/services. Needless to say, Spokes has earned my trust and I will be a returning customer.

Adam has worked on my bike on a few occasions and hes the best tech Ive come across in my many years of riding in the Northern VA area. (Thats a lot of years). Didnt know much about cycling but beeline offered free assembly here. My order was done on time. I was hoping to browse the store and maybe get a pump and some other accessories for an emergency kit, but I think only service is open due to social distancing? They did help load the bikes, but seemed bothered so I guess thats unusual. I guess they are super busy and doing reduced hours (again I dont know if its the time of year or Corona stuff) met all of my expectations. Ill update my review when the retail side is open.

Ive been other local bike shops. This Mechanic guy Adam he is the man you wanted to talk to. Very knowledgeable and other SPOKES in Fairfax is also awesome too! just in Leesburg area is closer to me. I love to support local business but this is one of my favorite place to fix my bike or have any problems. Thank you for your services.

Bought a Trek ebike. Great service from salesperson and repair shop (for tuneup). Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Horrible customer service. Just because I came back to fix something they did wrong (they even accused me of doing it) treated me like nothing, never like a customer. I do not recommend to anyone.
