I want to give 5 stars for the ring my husband bought for me from Kay Jewelers in the Lake Square mall because it’s absolutely stunning but I can’t. The employees ruin it completely, but as you can see from the other reviews, that is apparently normal for this store. The young man who begrudgingly assisted me twice, first when I took the ring to get sized and today when I went to pick it up (salesperson 013535783 because I don’t know his name) barely even acknowledged us, and didn’t say one word to us, even as we were looking at bands to compliment the new ring. I saw the perfect band and I would have bought it today, but because of that rude, aloof young man, we will take our business elsewhere. Somewhere that knows how to treat their customers. It’s hard to believe Kay Jewelers corporate or upper management, or whatever doesn’t see the multitude of negative reviews and take steps to address this. You’ve lost this customer.
Gail was and is amazing. Not everyone there know their stuff, but she does. She guided my fiance and I to the perfect wedding bands. She suggested an enhancer, and it made my engagement ring BLING!! Ask for her if you want to purchase there.
I went in to have my ring inspected for warranty purposes. The friendly staff checked it then asked the mgr to have a look. She agreed one of the prongs was worn a bit and we should send it for repair . She was very thorough and patient. I was so glad I stopped in because I could have lost my stone . They take their time and make sure you are completely satisfied when you leave . If you are in a hurry maybe go in during off hours to avoid waiting . There was no high pressure selling which I really appreciate!
If you value quality service then DO NOT SHOP HERE! The workers act as if youre somehow bothering them by entering the store. This is my third time returning my ring to Kay due to sloppy work and I can honestly say that I will never shop here again. Its unfortunate when a ring that is perfect in every way is destroyed due to workers not taking pride in their work. Youre better off shopping elsewhere. TRUST ME!

Go to Jared . I do not recommend Kays and its not just on one bad experience its been multiple. The most recent time, I picked up jewelry for my wife and they took my ID and never gave it back, realized it the next day. Called for two weeks straight and they gave me nothing but the run around. Finally got an answer from their Manager . For her just to say no its not there when I know it was. Never take my ID out for anything until that day. Horrible experience each and every time .
Very very disappointed!! I have sent my ring back now 7 times to get the same two stones fixed! I was told to come pick up my ring today so I went on my lunch break and when I put my ring n the SAME two stones are still not fixed! And everytime I take my ring in to get it done they clean it witch means they take a layer of gold off to make it smooth and shine. So that means they are taking the value of my ring down even more! Dont think I will be getting any more from this store! I hope that can make things right !!!
3 workers here. One helping customers, one at the register, one in the other womans ear, here I am with a $0 balance on a $5,000 credit limit waiting to buy a $3,800 gold necklace, writing this review after waiting 10 minutes and I still havent been helped

I do not recommend Kay jewelry and if you do purchase a warenty with your purchase! Within a week after purchasing a ring I had to have diamonds replaced. And have had this ring repaired many many times. Very rude employees.

Very rude employees in the Leesburg store. We went into the store today and they were very busy so we waited around 20 mins without being acknowleged then left and came back. When we came back there was only 1 customer. We waited again for about 5 mins to be acknowledged. We then told the lady what we were looking for, she just shook her head no and said nothing else. Then I asked her what size a ring was and her response was they are all one size. I just looked at my boyfriend and we both shook our heads. I said thank you and we left. Im surprised she even spoke. She obviously didnt want to be bothered by us. But thats ok. We will buy our $2,500 ever us ring else where. Her loss on commission. We will not return to this store. I can see why it has so many BAD reviews.
Rude, disrespectful employees, ring aways has to be sent out for tightening of diamonds. Buyer beware. Go to Jared for your jewelry purchase
