Carters Ace is one of the best hardware stores Ive ever been to the people are absolutely wonderful and unlike the box stores if you need help usually you can look over your shoulder and theres someone whos right there ready to help you great place highly recommend them I shop there all the time

Not sure what has recently happened to the prior experienced employees. But current employees are not trained and/or knowledgeable with items sold and / or job responsibilities.I will no longer be a customer with this ACE store.

Staff at this store are always helpful and professional. Jimbo is a Mr fix it and always willing to offer his guidance

Normally I have had good experiences at this Ace. I was a bit disappointed my last visit. When I needed help it was very short coming for the assistant was more concerned with letting me know they were closing in 10mins rather than helping me get what I needed. Not what I expected. I think most people dont intentionally show up at Ace minutes before closing to hold the store up from closing on time. I was in a had to situation and arrived as quickly as I could not to hold the store open but to BUY items I needed to keep a customer from being without power all night so while the store closed 5 mins. late I was still working for a few more hours.

Evey time I go in you are greeted with a smile & how can I help from one of the professional staff members, they will help you get to the right department and stay with you to help find items that are best and not the most expensive. Always a sale on somthing.

Employees r not very knowledgeable on simple things like a size of a chainsaw chain size with the old chain in hand. I had the whole saw in my car and still failed SMH. Sold me a 16 and I needed a 14. Sry guys not very professional

Knowledgeable staff. Always busy, which is good and bad; you know you can count on their service, products and knowledge but its hard to get assistance when theyre all so busy. They do acknowledge you, theyre polite and tell you someone will be with you soon. Conciensious of clients.

Prices are pretty terrible and old grumpy people work here and they always try to help but never do its halarious

Today is 8/6....Want to give huge thanks and accolades to Vic Frazier at this store....he made everything right in a fair manner, was polite and helpful to me in everyway he could!!! Appreciate all he did!!! This is a true store manager..deserves a bonus or raise!!!!Well..my husband goes to Ace to get pool Chlorine on sale for $2.99 gallon at 8am....told oh we cant keep to on shelf so now we are gonna sell you $8.99 (non refundable) containers/fill them for $4.39 each ...reusable to fill for $4.39 Each in future...clearly not new containers but disclaimer on receipt if they leak....not responsible for damages...this is a major senior community..disgusting to cheat them!!!!!

The gentlemen who help out in the store are always helpful and friendly, but I have an issue with some of the ladies who work the registers and answer the phones. Theyre always curt and act like youre hassling them if you ask for certain products. Purchased a product, called a few days later to see if they had more, and the gentleman I spoke with said they would in a week. Called back a week later and the woman who answered said they dont even carry that product and never have. She was rude when I told her Id not only bought it there before, but ordered it from them when it was out of stock, but she kept telling me No. You didnt. We dont carry it. I was going to ask if I could speak to someone else and order it again, but the line went dead. Not a very good way to treat customers.

I have been there 3 times. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It has that family vibe. The prices are decent for most items. I got one of those wide brooms for sweeping my sidewalk after mowing the lawn. It was $19 and some change after taxes. To me, for the quality, its a great price.

A number of customers and at least two staff did not have their faces covered.

Very friendly. Went there for key identifiers and keys, and the identifiers were give away(s). Cashier very nice. Made keys very fast and accurate.

They have great sales.

Has just about anything you need and if they dont have you can order.

3 miles from our home which makes it convenient compared to traveling 15 miles to the Box Store type of stores.Locally owned, professional staff who guide you to what youre looking for and a fast exit. cashiers with a friendly smile that know your name.

I have always loved ace, but this trip there was different. I went to get 25 feet of screen spline for a screen door. When I got to register to pay the total was almost $14. I asked the lady if she was sure that was right. I could buy 100 feet at Lowes or home depot for $7. She said yes Im sure thats right, I dont make the prices. Wrong response, if you cant be polite to customers dont work in retail.

They are awesome. I find what I need and help is always close by. I also bought a Big Green Egg from them and got free delivery and set up, Chris was outstanding in helping us. Im so glad to have an Ace in our neighborhood.

I have shopped alot of hardware stores and big box retailers.. none come close to the experience I have had in the South Leesburg Ace.. the first time I walked in I was greeted.. and I mean a very personal greeting.. took me by surprise a bit.. I wasnt used to people being so nice before I made a purchase..And I will say that was not just on the first visit.. its each time..They are always walking the floor asking if you need help.. which I find very reassuring.. but sometimes I just like to look.. well I can tell you this.. if you want to be left alone.. go to a big box retailer.. if you want professional support and a friendly relationship.. go to the South Leesburg Ace.. it my place to go.. period..
