I got an email where they asked to write a review for their business but I never used them for anything and never heard of them till now. How ironic is that?!? I wonder where they even got me email address from. I see they are a Utah based company, I never even been to Utah! OMG!!!

Both this location, and the orem center street location are full of snarky employees that hate their job, it shows through with their customer service. What a bunch of scabs. Avoid this location.

When one is in a financial bind (hopefully not too often) Check City has a user friendly application process and are helpful.

Very nice people work there

I tried very hard to get a job at the Check City in Lindon Utah but felt I was not treated well. I also felt that they might have been a little unfair to me because I spoke to a District Manager at the Orem Check City and tried to make a good impression him for the purpose of getting a job at that location. He seemed like he was favorably impressed with me and my resume and told me he would fax my resume right then to the manager at the Lindon Check City office. He also told me to expect a call (I think he was thinking I would get a call. I was not called back by the manager or by anyone at the Lindon Check City office and when I called the Lindon office about the job, they were not very personable with me though they indicated that they would send an email to the hiring manager about me and see what the hiring manager said regarding whether or not she thought I would be a good fit. I never received anything back in terms of a response in this case either and when I was finally able to get a hold of manager and tell him that I really wanted a job he told me they were not going to hire me. They had every right to do what they did but it just didnt seem right to me as far as their tone of voice and their not responding to me. Alexis, did respond to me through an email but that was about it in terms of the responses that I was given except for what that young man said at the very end when I called them back. I told them in an email that I had given it everything I had in terms of trying to get the job and that I had also had the positive impression and response of the district manager who happened to be at the Orem office when I went in there.

I actually popped in just for a moment to cash a check. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the fee was pretty low too.
