I want to acknowledge some great customer service. We went to Kwik Kar Auto on 423 (prob in Little Elm) for a service and Ms. Daphne took amazing care of a situation that came up. Even though it was a minor thing, she handled it with a positive attitude and really impressed me. They will have our business from now on!

We have been taking our vehicles to Kwik Kar Little Elm for all of our maintenance and repairs since 2018. We have 3 old vehicles (2001 truck, 2003 truck, 2007 van), so there are periodic repairs needed on all of them. They’ve replaced a starter, AC compressor, brakes and rotors, a radiator, and an alternator, among other maintenance type flushes and filters. All the repairs have been done well and the prices are really reasonable. Malcolm, the GM, has integrity and always exceeds my expectations in providing great service. He is attentive and personable. He’s the kind of guy you would want for a neighbor. I trust him. Daphne, the receptionist, is courteous, professional, and makes you feel appreciated and welcomed. Alfredo and Ernest, two of the mechanics, are respectful and helpful. We’re very happy with the service at Kwik Kar Little Elm. We wouldn’t take our vehicles anywhere else.

Went for oil change and inspection. The lady at the front was amazing very polite and outgoing. Service was done very quickly and I was very impressed at their speed.

Malcolm thought I had a dead animal in my car!! It turned out to be a blocked hose to my A/C. He did everything he could to get the smell out.We go here with all of our vehicles and have been very happy with the professionalism each person there has. Highly recommend to anyone looking for honest and complete service for their vehicle.

I did only state inspections for 2 cars 2 years in a row. Always had a good experience and the gentleman doing the inspections is always quick and friendly.

I have been going to Kwik Kar Kare since I moved here seven years ago. It is not the closest shop to my house but it has been consistently excellent. I cannot express my gratitude to especially Alfredo, since I started going there he has treated me more than just a valued customer but as a friend. He is very diligent about my cars maintenance and always gives me an honest and non-pushy recommendation for the car. I am not moving to another state and will miss Alfredo. It is rare that you find people anymore who are honest, friendly and have a great personality who is still able to perform at the highest level. I will miss him and this shop.

Daphne is great! She helped me out with all my questions and made sure my car was fixed quickly. Always smiling and making you feel welcome. Coffee is good too! Nice friendly place to get your car done!

My wifes car died in the middle of 423 during a busy time of day, and it was pouring rain out. I rushed to her aid and got her out of the street and to a safe location while we called the police to help direct traffic. I decided to also call Kwik Kar (on a whim) to see if they could help move our car, tow it, etc. I spoke with the general manager, Malcolm, and after hearing our situation he came to give us assistance. I met him in the middle of the road (still pouring rain and still waiting for the police mind you) and he helped me push my wifes car to a safe location in a nearby parking lot. He also had me meet him at Kwik Kar and he printed out a bunch of recall and warranty information on our car that we could bring to the dealer (the main bearings had busted and left a huge hole in our engine). Fortunately, our dealership didnt give much push-back and they replaced our engine for free. While we werent technically customers of Kwik Kar on this day, I would definitely recommend this Kwik Kar location. Especially if Malcolm is still in charge. Hes a stand-up trustworthy guy. We will be using this location for our future needs. Thanks!

Went for State Inspection. I got there early and they had me in and out quickly.

I just had the amazing experience of my Equinox severely overheating while I was 50 miles from home today at work because I made the mistake of getting an oil change here on a Sunday (February 9th) 45 minutes prior to closing and they were in too much of a hurry to put the cap on my coolant reservoir. The repair technician at the auto shop I was lucky enough to find today said I am very fortunate having a “bone-dry coolant receptacle” didn’t burn my engine up. Photos show the last bits of coolant splashed up around where we found the lid (placed near the opening lever where the hood opens) and put it back on. Surprised it didn’t fall out under the car weeks ago to be lost. The windshield wiper fluid reservoir wasn’t closed either but that wouldn’t cause the irreparable damage this would but photos included to show the sloppy and quick “work” this place does and I’ll be following up with a call to an owner or manager immediately. This is ridiculous.

Thank you Malcolm for ALWAYS helping out. Yesterday he went over and beyond to help me. My car broke down in the middle of 423, IN THE POURING RAIN, just before his place of business when he left work to help push my car out of danger and into a safe parking lot. He also had my husband and I meet him at his work to look up any possible recalls and printed out everything he thought we would need to show the dealership what most likely happened. He has helped with our sons car over the years when needed and he has always been fair and honest. I can NOT say enough good about this man and his work! I hands down recommend him.

Car broke down 2 blocks from this Kwik Kar location and I called for assistance. Daphne was so helpful and got her mechanic Wayro to come to me and he helped get my car here. Don’t know what’s wrong with it yet but the efforts they made to help me were outstanding. Thank You Daphne and Wayro.

Great service. Aldfredio did an amazing job and was so helpful on explaining on other service items on my car.

I just bought a new car and it needed an oil change. So, I take it up to them to get that done, because this is where I always go. They were done in under 20mins and they cleaned a bunch of grim off of my windshield from the previous owner. I didn’t ask them to do that, and I seriously doubt they remember me, but this is why I will always use them. They take great care of their customers!

I came here because my check engine light was on and needed to get it fixed for my inspection. They check why my light is on and it says they tell me there’s an issue with the transmission and that they need to flush it and get more transmission fluid. Come to find out later that they put the wrong fluid into my car damaging my transmission causing me to resort to buying a new car. Do not go here unless you’d really like a new car. They do not know older cars like mine which is a 2005 Toyota Corolla it only has 140,000 miles on it and should not need to be scrapped so early but due to their incompetence I’m now forced to. I’m secretly upset with it and hope no one else faces these same problems

I LOVE this Kwik Kar. They always have very speedy service and the staff is great. Rosa at the front desk is very profesional and friendly. Wouldn’t want to take my car anywhere else. Price is great, and they always do a great job.

Be wary of this place the mechanic thinks he knows everything and I quote “the dealership does not know what they are doing” I went in for just an inspection something simple. We bought the vehicle from the dealership in Virginia and have had it inspected many times at Texas dealerships. I am going to assume this is why the guy works at this place. Attitude was terrible I will never take any of our vehicles here. I just needed an inspection which I got a lecture on how my tint was to dark. I think the dealer wouldn’t of sold it to us if it was not legal. My suggestion is the guy needs to check his equipment. Took to a tinting place to be sure they tested it correctly and guess what it is legal. If they can’t do basic inspections I don’t want them doing anything else on any of our cars. Better places up on 380 with better customer service. Good luck hope if you use them that your experience is better than ours.

Went in for oil change and the mechanic informed me i needed additional repairs so i also got those things done.Everyone very nice.Great customer service

Not recommended terrible service, I took my car here to check my a / c system and they charged me almost $ 200 even knowing it was leaking they put Freon on it which makes no sense if they knew I was going to lose it now I left there without a / c and with almost $ 200 less, it seems like a joke but its serious

I went for an oil change and TOP OFF Of My Fluids. I called before going into business and asked for price of oil change. I was told one price lesser than price I paid, plus, I paid $9.99 for extra quart of oil (synthetic blend) along with a $2.99 charge for?!?. I also was horrible Wendell charges foe for labor taxes and sales tax. My expectations was to pay totally $70-$80. I spent almost $100.

Malcolm and his entire staff always go above and beyond anytime we need them. I have been taking all 5 of our familys vehicles here for awhile now since Malcolm took over this location. Prices are the best Ive seen around for anything from oil changes to A/C repairs. I recommend this location if youre looking for someone to trust your vehicles repairs with.

Let me tell you about this KWIK CHEAP PLACE! I came for a basic oil change! I told one of the men there I wanted the basic oil with a basic oil change! I was with four other of my girlfriends while getting this so they all heard me! After the 30 min wait and had not one person come speak to me, they gave me synthetic oil *SO NEVER CARED ABOUT WHAT I TOLD THEM* and charged me $70 dollars! *It gets better ;)* I had politely served them their rights, payed them and left! I had then called the manger and he told me he didn’t like the way I talked to his employees so, the best he could do is give me a $20 credit! We both know by the end of this review I won’t be back! But if your looking for a cheap oil change Walmart it just 2 min down the street from them trust me keep driving!

Over charge trying to find simple easy to fix in your car to charge you I don’t recommend to go again

On my last oil change, they wanted to replace the cabin air filter, they put some dirt on my air filter which I just replaced a month back. They also said I had an engine oil leak and showed me a spill which seems to have been just added as I did not see anything on my garage. I told them no to everything and they put the air filter back with the dirt which caused a cracking noise. They fixed the issue after I came back. Little did I know they had another issue that was not bought to my attention. On my next oil change I decided to use brake plus, when they are trying to put back the oil plug, they could not as the oil plug was forced into the oil pan on the last oil change, the oil plug ate into the metal and I had to replace the oil pan which cost me 800 to replace.This guys does poor work and will do anything to make money even for things that are not broken. Will take my business elsewhere. Will not recommend Kwik Kar to anybody

Not one worker was wearing a mask. When it was time to pay the cashier was in the back. Had to say something for him to come up. While I was paying he seems bothered. Just super unfriendly.

Impersonal. Upsold me on steering fluid and air filter I didnt need.I hate that display of oh look theres a leaf in your air filterYeah, there is. And you left it there to make my air filter seem more used and dirty than it actually is...Lady at the desk wouldnt look me in the eye when speaking to me. Spoke to 3 different different people through the whole process. Never felt actually acknowledged the whole time.Will just go to another location next time.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. I felt very good leaving this place knowing that I didnt get taken advantage of. I will definitely be back! I lived the faculty feeling I received when 8 walked in the door! 10 stars satisfied customer!

Went to Christian brothers first. They had a wait and wanted to charge me more. I drove down the road and had my Lexus repairs done in 2 hours for cheaper. The owner was there and greeted me. The guy who worked on my car was very professional and friendly. The lady working in the office was also really professional and prompt. Seems like these are good people.

Absolutely the best service I have every received! Malcolm went above and beyond to make sure my care was 100% safe to drive!! I had a weird popping noise when I accelerated above 50 mph. I had my oil changed at another place in North Dallas on Monday and thought maybe they had done something wrong. This Kwik Kar was the closet to where I was so stopped so they could check it out for me. Come to find out all was well with previous oil change but had a loose piece on the back of my car that he reattached and sent me on my way. I will personally drive the 25 miles from North Dallas to have my oil changed here! You should definitely come here for all you car needs!! Malcolm and the rest of the folks here are the best!!!!

They were extremely busy and I had to leave to pick up my son by a specific time and they found the problem and got it repaired in time for me to do that!

Inspection was quick but they wont let you use it at this location. And the cashier that youre in closest contact with wasnt wearing a mask..

Stopped by this place about 2 weeks ago for a usual, OIL CHANGE! Only to end up paying $69 and to find out TODAY the job was NOT EVEN DONE! If it weren’t for another shop that had to get into my engine I would of NEVER found out! Oil was OVERFLOWING & the filter was NEVER changed out! Called to make them aware of the situation & to find out why was I charged for something that NEVER got done! manager said to me ( if it was not done I will be refunding back the amount charged) But to bring in the filter that I was claiming did not get changed out! Brought it back & he went back on his word & only refunded me the $40 that I had to pay to get the job done CORRECTLY! Before the refund he had the audacity to offer me a FREE OIL CHANGE & a CAR WASH card! No Sr. I will NOT be returning to this place EVER! after charging me $69 for a job not even DONE! he refused to refund me that amount & instead asked me for proof of having the job done elsewhere to refund me the amount paid with the other shop!

My battery died at the vet next door and they were able to jump start my car AND replace the battery in time for an appointment that I CANT MISS! The fastest most helpful knowledgeable staff have saved both my mom (the last time she visited) and I from some very unfortunate situations. Beware!!! I was in there this past Monday just after they opened. As my car is out in the shop, I look out into the shop and see a 6 inch long RAT running up a pipe inside the shop. Glad it didn’t get into my new car. Hope they hired a good exterminator to take care of their large rat problem.

The lady at the front desk is rude and has no manners, hung up in my face. And has no type of great customer service she does not need to work here or at any place dealing with customer service. Because she won’t get far with the way she talks to people.

$150 for a synthetic oil change. They will charge and upsell you for everything, do work without your consent and force you to pay for it. Unprofessional place. Go elsewhere.

Malcolm and his team are true automotive professionals. They take the time to diagnose the issue and keep troubleshooting until the issue is resolved. They are extremely knowledgeable and take time to educate the customer (us). I had the opportunity to have Malcolm work on my car first hand; a sign of a great leader. No wonder his team is willing to go the extra mile. I can’t leave out Alfredo, who’s kindness and empathy really help when you are dealing with issues that are going to cost some money. Came Into town for a oil change. Everything was fine. Then the mechanic came over and said I need a new air filter. Because it’s very dirty. I told him I’ll do it myself and the following weekend I went to change it. Only two screws holding the cover. I called them and the manager said we don’t put screws that were missing already. There is no way the screws are missing because I just changed the light bulb and the air filter box comes off. I wouldn’t recommend this place for nobody. And my air filter was not very dirty. I’m wondering ow if they even do a good oil chance, going to get it done somewhere else. Can’t trust this place.

My story has been a lengthy process...but Malcolm and his team at the Little Elm Kwik Kar have been so professional and patient that I want to be sure everyone knows!My mother’s car had been sitting at my house for a few years (yes—years!) because she has been in a nursing home after a stroke in 2015. I didn’t need the second car so I let it sit and be neglected. What a mistake!Little Elm Kwik Kar got it running again a few months ago...then it was my job to get it re-registered and inspected so my son could use it for college this fall. And so it begins...the labor of love. If you leave a car sitting for too long it shuts down it’s internal computer...which means it’s needs it’s drive cycle reset in order to pass inspection. I had no idea what this meant, but Mikel the inspector was very informative. I proceeded to try to reset the drive cycle...but the check engine light came on. I brought it back...they fixed that issue. I tried the drive cycle again...check engine light again. They fixed it. Drive cycle one more time. And guess what? Check engine light came on again. It turns out I was causing this recurrence myself but I’d rather not dwell there. 😊. Malcolm and Steve were so patient with the increasingly impatient me. They went above and beyond to make sure everything got fixed AND taught me what NOT to do. And I finally passed inspection!!! They have my business for life now. Thank you for the diligence to help me over the line.

Today was my second time coming to this location for inspection and the wait both times was about an hour which isn’t too bad. Service is great and I say that because one of the techs (could have been manager) took the time to stop what he was doing and educate me on what one of my indicator lights meant. I really appreciated it! I will be back for my inspection next year.

Horrible experience. Wish the manager called me back to discuss a way we can fix our pricing issue. Over the phone they quoted one price then the African american lady that works there was SUPER rude and arrogant about pricing that was 50 dollars more than expected. Would not recommend this place

Horrible service . I went for a free AC check and waited for an hour watching customers come in, get the service and leave but i was still there waiting for my turn . I saw them looking at my work sheet and then putting it aside and taking another customers worksheet . i waited for an hour and went to the front desk to ask for my keys so i can leave, she didnt even remember what did i come for and where was my worksheet and keys, i had to point out where they were . later she looked at my worksheet and turn to the manager and she said she has been waiting for a AC check, he looked at me and just ignored and continued his phone call. I GUESS I WAS NOT A CUSTOMER WHO WAS PROFITABLE FOR THEM BECAUSE I MENTIONED FREE . Later went to the other location on MAIN & KYSER they are the best they looked at the AC in 2 minutes and told me what was the issue, gave me a price quote . I guess there are going to get my business

Been here twice in the past month for oil changes on different vehicles. Quick service. They do a great job with their checkpoints, but note that they will show you your air filter and wiper blades. Both of these you could replace yourself. Other than that, I will be going back again.

Oil change was good and they even told me about some things going wrong with my car.

Although nobody likes having car repairs done, if you have to have service, this is the place to do it. Malcolm and Tim have both gone above and beyond on multiple occasions to take care of my car as well as my sons and husbands cars. Their willingness to take care of their customers keeps makes this Kwik Kar the best choice for all of my car services and repairs. I personally like coming here when I get oil changes I highly recommend this place, they have good and friendly stuff and good knowledgeable mechanics that also give good advice and never really feel like they try to upsell you.

For anything short of catastrophic failures, I do my own auto maintenance, but I still have to take my vehicles somewhere for their yearly inspections. Keeping in mind that auto (and motorcycle) inspections are the only things Ive ever done here, Ive been very satisfied with the service. In addition to friendly staff, what I appreciate the most are realistic estimates of wait times. A lot of places will promise to get you in a lot quicker than they really can, just to get you to commit to giving them your business, this Kwik Kar location does -not- do that (or at least they havent in the last 3 or more years Ive been going there).

I have had poor experiences with other shops in town. I was super relieved that I found Kwik Kar, for work I drive up to 60k miles a year and rely on repair shops like this to keep my vehicles running smoothly. They do great work.

Auto mechanics come in all forms, believe me, I know, I have had some really bad ones. Kwik Kar is the most professional and well run auto service place I have ever done business with. This is how business is supposed to be done. Highly Recommend!

My check engine light came on for no apparent reason. I went to Google and found Kwik Kar; they had a coupon on their website for 50% off the check engine light diagnostics. They helped get the light to turn off at a great price. I will be going back again.

Super fast oil change and really nice employees

I checked out a few dealerships and auto repair shops before settling with Kwik Kar little elm. Ive looked at the services they offer and their prices are quite reasonable. The techs treat your car with care and put protective covers all around before they work, unlike the last one Ive been to. Im satisfied with Kwik Kars service on every visit.

The managers are really knowledgeable, helpful, and reliable. They did what they could on my vehicle and helped me save a lot of money. The only reason I am rating them 4/5 is because when I pulled up they told me my brake light was out and I asked them to check it out. My boyfriend later pointed out that it was out, so I called them and they told me they forgot to check out the problem. I tried replacing the light and it didnt work, so I feel like I could of saved a lot of time and money with that issue if they had checked it out right then and there.

These guys were so awesome to me! Got a flat on the road in front of this shop and turned in. They could have sent me on my way as theyre not a tire place but they took my car in and switched my flat with my spare. Im so grateful for them I dont know what I would have done. Ive been in to this location twice in the past for State Inspections and both times with very good experiences. The staff there is warm and friendly so much so that today I felt comfortable to stop and ask a small favor, I needed my toll tag removed from the windshield and they have a scraper that gets the job done quickly and easily. Obviously not an automotive issue, but after my experience today I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this Kwik Kar location.As usual I was greeted immediately and when I asked for this favor the team jumped into action and was more than happy to help. They seemed to WANT to do this for me and it put me at ease for making such a simple request. Im a strong believer that if you have good people you will receive good service. Not always perfect, but Ive always been communicated to clearly during each visit and the mechanics know what they are doing and seem to enjoy what they do.Thank you to the staff at Kwik Car Little Elm for your care and service.

BEWARE: This place will happily take advantage of your ignorance of car mechanics. A simple oil change will cost you $300 before its all said and done. Theyll find belts and AC problems and all kinds of things and make you feel like, that if you dont have them repaired that day by them, you wont make it down the street before something goes wrong.

Took vehicle in for inspection and oil change. Over $300 later I have no inspection for technicality they should have told me about before I spent the money on their other services. The take away is that they are focused more on selling and less on good quality customer service. This drives one time customers like me. My search will continue for a long term service center I can trust. Also the sales guy was not knowledgeable at all (called my air filter a fuel filter) and front counter person was impressively unprofessional.

Horrible customer service they will screw up your car for repeat business. They stripped my drain plug and blame on the mileage of the vehicle. He said go google it. So Im on google with my review. Please stay away from this location if you dont want to be ripped off.

Needed a state inspection and they got me in and out quick

I went in for an oil change and they filled my tires as well. Problem was that they filled one of my tires to 41 psi, and the others were correctly filled to 31 psi. Put my in a lot of potential danger for a blowout, and really didnt care that much when I called to complain about that.

I have been to this place several times over the years. When I get my oil changed they are supposed to check my cabin filter per their 24 point inspection. They never did after 3 years they get a new manager and he tells me sorry I know we said we changed it but it never was and it is filthy. Charged me full freaking price to change it I thought my AC was going out, but come to find out it wasnt getting air. I go in for an oil change today and they said i need a flush ok whatever. They call me 20 min before close on Sunday. They didnt tell me they close early on Sunday and of course I AM WITHOUT A FREAKING CAR UNTIL THEY OPEN ON MONDAY AT 8:00AM. I go into work at 7:30am. PLEASE NEXT TIME TELL PEOPLE YOU CLOSE IN 20 min. NEVER AGAIN!

I was ripped off at this location back in April when I asked (and paid) for a power steering flush. Just today I was notified at another location that my power steering fluid was nearly black and hadnt been flushed in what looked like years. Now I know to check it myself after dropping $100 on a flush.
