Love this location!!!! Nick and Jeremy are literally amazing!!!! If you need help figuring out what you want/need Nick is your Guy! He is so knowledgeable about products and gives you various price options because money doesnt grow on trees. Jeremy installed everything and answered all of our questions and explained the process to us!

Bree did a first-class install and completed it sooner than expected. Keven helped me with the setup / integration of the new unit to my smart phone and MP3 player.Ill be returning to Car Toys for additional upgrades down the road!

Shockingly bad turnaround. I have been going to this location for a long time for many cars and have always had such a great experience. Caesar is the best and always treats my wife like an equal when I’ve had to send her in by herself.I don’t know what happened to this place or if there has been a change in management. This experience has been one of the worst I’ve ever had. We dropped off the my wife’s car yesterday at 9:15 AM for a small issue with the stereo and a battery drain problem. I explained the issues when we dropped the car off. We heard nothing all day and when my wife called at 7 when she got off, they put her on hold for 25 minutes and forgot about her. Then they proceeded to blame her driving habits for the battery issue and didn’t even mention the stereo problem. When she asked about it, they didn’t know what she was talking about. They had the car the whole day and never even looked at the stereo. Unbelievable. Then he said he needed to talk to another installer and would need the car another day. Now it’s 4:00 and they haven’t called. No updates, no apologies, nothing. I called for an update and was told “we’re still working on it” and that was it. We have no idea what is going on or when she will get her car back. I attempted to contact their corporate office for a resolution and that was a complete waste of time. The email was emailed forwarded back to me and to the Car Toys location. If they can’t be bothered to call me, why in the world would I want the email sent to them? I attempted to reach out on Twitter but have heard nothing. I really don’t know what to do at this point but wait and never bring my business here again and tell everyone I know to avoid them. There are other car install places near here with better reviews. I would recommend going there instead. If they somehow turn this around, I will update this review with how it was resolved.

The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, I worked with Mike Mathews, and Manuel Parada to get my sound system perfect. These 2 guys bent over backwards to get me set up with everything I needed at the lowest cost possible. They worked around my schedule Manuel was even willing to come in hours before the store even opened just to make sure I was out on time. THATS UNHEARD OF !!!! I cant say enough good things about the way this store is managed and operated. Thank you guys so much !!! EDITED REVIEW: I was able to get my car back in and repaired and the gaps fixed. The team was very helpful and apologetic for the issues. They made sure everything was fixed and working well. Much happier now and appreciative of the effort to make things right!-------------The staff themselves were very nice but the quality of work was awful. I paid over $1,000 for a new radio + installation. First, there were giant gaps between the radio and my dash. Then, the first time I drove my car, I hit a small pothole and the whole thing quit - no power, nothing. I went back to the store to get it fixed and they told me theyre booked 2-3 weeks out but he MIGHT be able to squeeze me in next week. Im now out $1,000 and have zero audio in my car and a terrible gappy-looking dashboard.

The next time a customer orders a subwoofer and the subwoofer is delivered put it up or call the customer right away so it don’t get stolen like mine did at the cartoys on w Bowles which I don’t understand because there are cameras everywhere and makes me think it was a inside jack move.

I had absolutely no idea what I was looking for when I came into car toys but C A Pedraza did an amazing job helping me out! He was super kind and understanding with my lack of information! He asked all the right questions and when we installed the sound system we had everything we needed! I’m so impressed with his knowledge of his products and ability to get me exactly what I needed with the little information I had! I Definitely look forward to doing business with him again!

You have got to see these pictures before you buy! I would give it a zero, yes it is that bad. We bought an interior detail off Groupon for about $ 70 and basically got straight up ripped off. They were exceedingly rude to my wife as she brought it back the second time after the already had the truck for 10 hours the days before. Here are the photos after the bringing back a second time. It still has crumbs in the doors, cupholders, dust all over, dirt on the the ceilings and under the visor, dog hair, the rubber floor mats still have dirt all over them etc. Please share these photos with anybody and everybody as I do not want anybody else to spend their hard earn money on this place.

Can’t confirm BUT my 2000 Ford was stolen! Ironically a few months after having an auto start installed. Seems reallll fishy that there was no broken glass in my spot. Guess what folks I lock my car religiously AND HAVE ALL 4 SETS OF KEYS. Like I said can’t confirm but I’d still shop and give my business elsewhere.......

This was the worst customer service experience of my life. I paid for a new deck and speakers to be installed on july 22nd or so. Paid in full, install was scheduled for a week later to wait for the harness. Times comes for tje first install. They take about 8 or 9 hours with the car, only to say we cant figure out the back up cam (sales affirmed it would work before purchase). The manager says bring it back let my install manager look at it two weeks later. Wait for that appointment where they take 5 hours to tell me we need the factory radio again and we will figure it out. The install manager says I will make a special appointment for you on a Sunday and I will figure this out. He assured me that if the factory cam didnt work they would install a new cam and it would take a couple hours. We take it in that Sunday and they say a couple hours youll be out of here. Four hours later they tell me the factory cam will not work. I am very upset with this team at this point, and voice my opinions. The assistant manager Keenan simply drives my car to the front of the store, literally tosses me.my keys and says we tried, with a shoulder shrug. I demand a refund in a not so nice way. Keenan acting like the child he is, immediately got defensive and said Im not giving you a refund you can call corporate. My car literally lost features and they had the car fkr 15 hours. Made no attempt to fix the situation and said call corporate. Keenan shouldnt be working with customers in any respect. This place should be pit of business. Do not bring your car here. I wish I could give negative stars for the way they in the 3nd tried to make it bad.

They showed me choices, explaining each, and were very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and how. They worked their schedule to fit my needs, brought a chair out for me when I had to stay to wait, were much faster than projected in completing the replacement and explained the use of my new radio system. Other than those two, however, I have had issues with this Car Toys in the past with associates. They have been rude before and treated me like I didnt know what I was talking about. If it wasnt for Aldo I would have taken my car to a different Car Toys.

I could write a lot but I want to share some of my experience. Customer service at this place is great! I ordered a new stereo online with free backup camera, when my order arrived I didn’t receive the backup camera the gentleman who helped me out at the stores name was Keevan. He was patient with me and very knowledgeable, he answered all the questions I had, Also he helped me get the right dash kit that was needed for my car and the free backup camera that was missed in my online order. Location/ people matter in my opinion. The guys over at the Bowles location did great!

Not impressive. I was having problems with my Andriod Auto wanted some advice and options because my dealership wont help me. The employee spent 15 seconds with me and told me to buy a $70 cord, which they dont stock. Total waste of time. The Car Toys at the North Broadway took the time to look at it, brainstorm with me and detail my options. I will prefer that location from now on.

Car Toys off Wadsworth and Bowles did a great job on a difficult speaker install. Replaced the mushy factory Bose with some JBL speakers that would fit into the existing speaker openings. Had to run wires from dash to door which was tricky for my Infiniti. The Tech did an amazing job.

Mark and his employee Caesar took very good care of me. I had an amazing system installed, automatic starter, and Bluetooth done to my Acura. Mark listen to exactly how I wanted my car done as well as putting their ideas In. I dont know much about sound quality but mine sounded awesome! Definitely turned some heads. I liked how they put the bass knob where I can reach it in case I roll up on a cop 👮‍♂️ I can turn It down easily.Thank you Mark and Caesar for your professionalism and your attention to detail. CA promised that the installation would be expedited but promised to be done in the PM. There was never an intention to do that. I live 60 miles from the store with COVID, waiting was not an option. I finally left to to pickup the vehicle at 2:45. I received a call from CA that he thought they required the second key to program the unit. This was a voice message because the cell didnt connect the call. I immediately called back and I went into the automated phone system and had to leave a message because nobody would pickup the call. I left a message and then I immediately called again. I got an individual named Walker. I was not happy and asked specifically if they needed the key and said I was already 30 miles back into the return trip to pick up the vehicle. He said that they could take the remote start out if I didnt want it. Real management material as he has no customer service potential. After all there were only three people there according to him. I returned home, got the key went to the store and waited for my vehicle. There were done around 4:45pm. While I was waiting there were 6 people behind the counter just talking. Am I happy no. I got a receipt. No documentation. No manuals. Nothing else. Will I buy from Car Toys again. Probably not. If I need warranty service for this unit I will never go to this store for anything. Would I recommend Car Toys? a resounding NO! Their high end equipment must require a high attitude. My money is green like everybody elses but I dont know where the lack for customer service come from.

Around Christmas time we bought an install kit for my sons 2004 Cavalier - and it didnt work as expected. My husband went back today (a whole 6 months later) and they helped us understand what had gone wrong. Truly appreciate a company that takes the time to help this way - every time we have dealt with them they have been great. Still - if you are putting a radio in a 2004 Cavalier - I simply recommend you let them do it. It will likely save you some gray hair.

You can do lots of things to make the experience better. When I came in to purchase the remote start system the rep said that I would have to pay a monthly subscription for the service. OK, I asked how much that would be and they said they didnt know. I asked - well how am I suppose to purchase something that will have an ongoing obligation with out knowing the price. She was like, I dont know what it cost. We starred blankly at each other.... Then I asked if she could find out what it will cost, so she went and found someone who said it was $4-5 per month. Cool. So I said I would buy the system. Then they went to ring it up they said WELLLL, with your truck (2017 F150 (one of the most common trucks on the road) we have to go under the hood so that will be an extra $50 even though the sign said installation was included. I asked if they have to go under the hood on other vehicles and they said no. Just mine. Ok. They then said, well with this system youll need and extra part that will be $35. So I asked if Every vehicle would need that extra part (that apparently wasnt included in the $499 purchase price) and they said YES. So wait, if every vehicle needs this extra part, its not an extra part. It should be included in the stated price. So they said, Ok, they would give that to me at no additional cost. How generous. Is this how you guys do business?

Tiffany cleaned my car after a SMOOTHIE exploded in it! It was a freaking MESS! It stunk and it was hard to sit in since the smoothie baked all day in the sun after it popped. She made my car look BRAND NEW! I didnt expect it to come back looking that good. I am so impressed. She takes pride in her work and I will be back. Hopefully not for the same reason though...

Got my car detailed and Lindsey did an amazing job. She got all the dog hair out and little coffee stains out of the front seat. She even got the smoke smell out and even scraped the stickers off my windows at no extra charge. Definitely recommend this place everyone was super polite and attentive.

We had our suv cleaned before a road trip back in November. The car was not completely vacuumed before the did the carpets there was still trash under seat. The seats looked to be just lightly wiped down sill dirt on them.. They didnt put dividers back in the car that were in the console. I had to go in and get it from them. It took them aleast 5 min to find it. To top it off they lost my front carpets for the driver and passager side (not cheep over 100 to get them replaced) I called 4 times over the next couple of days tring to find out of the tech found my carpets. Each time I called they told me the tech that did the cleaning was going call me so we could be on the smart page and they would make things make things right. NO ONE EVER CALLED BACK. Dont waist your money. Poor customer service..

This store is absolutely terrible!! They told us we would pick up our vehicle the same day and we got it back two days later and every time we called we got the run around of they are extremely busy yet we were the first ones to drop off our vehicle for the “first come first served” for the remote start to be installed. When we got our vehicle back they had not installed all of the parts we paid for and then tried to get us to pay for the product again. Their management was also no help and made it out to be our fault. These people are crooks so keep your receipts or just go to a better business with better customer service.

I will never come back to this store again. Not only was every employee in the store rude off the bat—it was clear no employee wanted to help any customers—as if each one was a nuisance, or a problem waiting to happen.I also had the unfortunate experience of being helped by a man who was clearly homophobic, dismissive, and couldn’t answer questions about odd extra fees for a car stereo, while being schemeful only to get a sale.I left feeling like I should have never come into the store in the first place, and that’s how it will stay; I will never give money to a business that is blatantly unprofessional and demeaning to their customers.Also, there is a ungodly enormous pot hole in their parking lot that can eat a sedan’s wheel whole.Such an immensely disappointing time at this store. I expect better.

These guys go above the call of duty. After having some equipment installed on my car I noticed my mirror was coming loose. I thought it was due to the installation process but it had nothing to do with it. Jake was very helpful and accommodating and offered to tighten it up for me anyway. Great customer service!

If I could give this place negative zero stars I would. Bought a remote start and alarm system and it was installed. Come to find out it was wired wrong and would not lock my doors so had to take it back in and they had it for two days. Then my key system they gave me was beeping and needed charged and nothing was provided to charge it with you have to buy that extra. So I went and bought one from them and it didnt work. They said they had to order me a new key system. They were very rude and I am going to have them uninstall it. I will find somewhere else to go.BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! Learned my lesson a hard way.

Worst customer service ever. Went in to buy a kicker comp subwoofer with dual 2ohm voice coils... Sales man came to look at my setup and insisted that the dual 1ohm voice coil would work with my amp, so I purchased the speaker and the protection plan!! 2 days later I brought the blown speaker back, the exact same salesman and his manager proceeded to tell me that I needed the 2ohm speaker, then wouldnt honor the protection plan because he said they didnt have the speaker in stock but I could try another location!! Now I have a blown 200 dollar speaker that they wont replace with the correct speaker or refund my money!! Ipuchased a 40$ skar audio subwoffer and installed it myself! Works perfect now!! Do not shop here! Will charge you extra for protection plans, then they wont honor it!! If I could give less than one star I would.

SO AWFUL. My car has been at this shop for two days waiting for a stereo to be put in. Not only did they fail to install it correctly yesterday when they told me to come get it, they now are asking for more money for the installation, when I’ve already paid $125. The customer service has been atrocious, and the management here is an absolute joke. They have been so rude every time they have called me; it seems they are mad at me because I would like my $500 stereo installed correctly... Just take your business elsewhere where they can actually do their jobs and won’t try to screw you at every turn!

Had a great experience! Because of covid-19, they have been understaffed due to state mandate but that did not stop them from doing a great job. Cosmo and Lil Jay were the ones who helped me out and stayed two extra hours to install a new radio, as well as walking me through the entire process of learning how to work it. Would recommend :)

Its rare that I write a review. If I could give Car Toys on Bowles 10 Stars, I would. I stopped in to arrange to have a auto start installed on my 2004 Dodge Pickup. This is a run around truck Ive had a couple years. Black..and the paint was starting to really bleach out and fade. Isiah Duran (the Install Manager) walked out to look it over for the install and told me they also do auto detailing. (I had no idea Car Toys had this service.) And, that they do Ceramic Coating. Auto detail is only as good as the talent a shop has doing the work. And Isiah was 100 percent confident he could bring back the finish on my truck. (as well as install the auto start.) So the work was scheduled and completed on time as promised. When I picked up the truck I was totally and completely blown away. This truck as NEVER looked this good! Amazing! Deep gloss and so sharp. I am recommending Car Toys and Isiah Duran to everyone. This shop is great and Isiah is the real deal! Go to Car Toys on Bowles!

I would like to say Thank You to the whole team at Car Toys who worked tirelessly to get my new stereo working. The team stood by their work, troubleshooting it multiple times until they finally found it was not the stereo but the factory amp that was at fault. Ever since that was replaced the stereo has been working great! Thanks again for seeing it through to resolution; I know it was a difficult and time-consuming process and I truly appreciate their dedication. Thank You!

This location rocks! They unfortunately didnt have the product I wanted, but they took the time to show me where I could obtain something similar online, (as well as what to look for when buying) and gave me some pricing for installing it once I get it. See you guys soon!

After a consultation the day before and waiting an hour that day for them to replace my rear view camera, they call and tell me that they can’t do it on my car model. No regard for people’s time and horrible customer service attitude’s as well. If you want a professional experience just go to Quality Auto Sound down the street.
