One of the newest Safeway locations with the authorization to sell hard alcohol as well. Clean, presentable, friendly staff. Produce is fresh, bakery is in stock, as always the meat department has nice marble steaks as always. Some items they maybe proud of but check the Wednesdays leaf advertisements and youll find the deals to fill the fridge once a week. Im glad Safeway is still around in Colorado for a choice to shop out every day needs.

I came to Safeway for my Moderna booster shot and a flu shot. The pharmacy department was very professional and quick. I appreciate that they are doing Moderna now. Make an appointment as soon as you can.

Employees are amazing. Store clean and neat. All shelves full and in order.

Don’t mind this Safeway at all, especially during the evening hours between 9-11p, not busy at all, the shelves are always stocked and the staff is helpful and friendly!!

Sparkling clean with a very good selection of wine and liquor. The meat department has real butchers who will custom cut for you. Only issue is that their prices tend to be higher than Kings accross the street.

This is the flagship Safeway store for the state of Colorado. The way you can tell is that the store sells full strength alcohol, including beer, wine and liquor. Due to a peculiar law at the state level, each supermarket chain is allowed to have only a single location that sells a full range of alcoholic beverages. This Safeway does have a fairly good selection of local beer, but the prices arent as good as some Ive seen. In general, this is a fine store that is a bit more upscale than the typical example of this chain.

Just for you deals with Safeway is really good.. using weekend deals we can get lots of discounts on items.. staff are really good in returning items... Or if any issues regarding the coupons... I feel like this location always has a better selection and prices than surrounding grocery stores. The consistent deals on cheese and other dairy products cant be beat. And the little sushi station near the front has some excellent sushi!

What a neat and clean place. I was looking for a liquor for my cake and three employees tried to help me. One from the cheese and wine counter, one from the alcohol department and another one who might have been a supervisor. I ended up not finding what I needed but they guided .e from where I could get it. Exceptional customer service.

This is the third time that I have seen the same blonde teenage kid that works here with his mask around his neck... Ive complained about it twice and nobody seems to care, stay away if you dont want to get the deadly virus and if a manager sees this and wants to check the cameras he was up front as customers went by with it off at around 8:55pm on 4/7/21

Never been to one. This place is huge, it has everything you could think of, just no clothing. Groceries, pharmacy, liquor, bet and wine. Almost a one stop shop.

Always extremely clean environment. I order my childrens birthday cakes from their bakery and they have never disappointed. Very nicely decorated and very delicious. I have gotten many compliments from party guests (pre covid) on the quality of the cake. One less thing for this busy mom to have to worry about for birthday planning!

I go to Safeway about once a year, and each time Im reminded why I dont shop at Safeway. It is really rude and poor customer service to have one open lane (and no employee at self checkout) with no cashiers present. Two cashiers were standing over by the front area, when one eventually noticed me in the one checkout lane with a light on, waiting, she said, Be there in a minute. But she and the other cashier went on to have their conversation about getting the c19 jab and some Starbucks worker who just quit, etc. As if my time isnt valuable. The fact that management tolerates this--employees standing around chatting while I am supposed to wait patiently for them to come ring me up? Thats rude, and really bad service. No apology, no thanks for your patience or sorry for the wait. Yep. Once again, this is why I dont shop at Safeway. Youre on the clock being paid for your time, meanwhile my time is also valuable and youre happy to make me stand around until your conversation is over.

I like this store for a lot of reasons, including its size, and the customer service. However, over the last couple months I have noticed that more and more of their products are expired. Especially the produce. Their organic produce is dismal, and even much of their conventional produce too. Yesterday, my wife bought a strawberry milk that was badly expired. I guess one could say that we should check the expiration date of everything before we buy it, and we really try to.. but it would be nice if this store could offer fresher produce and check to make sure that their shelved products aren’t past expiration as well.

Im writing this review mostly out of nostalgia. I used to live two blocks from this location but moved to south Denver almost a year ago. I was in the area the other day and decided to revisit my old stomping grounds to grab a few things - I forgot how nice it was to have such an organized, clean, and peaceful grocery store close to me. They always have everything I need, the store is a dream to navigate, and I dont think I have ever, not once, waited in line for the self checkout. Employees are great, I just havent had to interact much with anyone there because I am never unable to find what I need. If I had a desert island-esque choice for a single grocery store, this would be it. If this store is close to you or along your commute, I highly recommend making this your go-to for groceries. You dont know what you got till its 16 miles away.

I woke up early this morning to go to the store in hopes I would be able to avoid people due to the current pandemic. Instead, I had the following direct contact with employees at this site:1. Employees are not social distancing. On two occasions employees came within a few feet of me. They are not observing the 6 feet rule.2. The liquor store area, where I was stocking up on supplies for the weekend, appeared open for business. However, when I grabbed the items I needed, an employee spoke to me in a belittling fashion and stated I couldnt buy alcohol before 8:00 am. If I cant purchase a good from this department it should appear closed, ESPECIALLY if theres a state law in effect. The signage the employee finally pointed out with the designated hours wasnt any bigger than a piece of paper and barely noticeable.3. I couldnt find any gluten-free items in their bakery section that were of the brand quality I consider fit for eating. I searched for a while, but in the end this venture out became an absolute waste of time.I see that several other local guides have given this store a five-star rating, but I wonder if theyre given an incentive or paid to do so. Regardless, I will not go back to this Safeway and I will actively encourage my family and friends to avoid it as well.

Pharmacy items were waiting for me, as promised.

They keep all of there product in weird places which makes it hard to find the things you want exp: 4 separate isles for the same type of drink, or baking goods in the ethnic isle.

As far as grocery stores go, this is one of the best. This location was the one location in the state to sell alcohol before the law changed. They carry some good stuff and offer deals that rival the big chains. The store always looks clean and well stocked. They have a US Bank branch that has extended hours and a Jamba Juice. It all adds up to good.

This is my favorite store. It has a great selection, good prices, friendly help and they never make you wait in line. The store is huge and theres lots of room to move with wide isles. It has a nice Starbucks with a relaxing outdoor seating area and a waterfall. Its my go to store.

Had a little trouble accidently put in the wrong phone number by mistake. Cashier was unable to fix it. Said she would have to cancel our whole order and start over, by that time we were knee deep in groceries. So we declined, then we realized that it was worth several fuel points.
