They had run out of sale items in produce - berries, grapes. Asked me if I found everything ok, I said I was disappointed to come in for fruit and they were sold out. Cashier said, Sorry that happens. Good selection of teas, many on sale & in stock. Good prices on cereals for the family.

Store was stocked as good as could be expected in these hard times. Very expensive...

I can’t possibly state how much I love this store. This is the closest thing to home I’ve ever felt. Chefs kiss with this one. The architecture, the food, the ambiance, and the people are all wonderful. I picked a very small shopping cart for my very small shopping trip that had a “customer in training” flag on it. I was asked how my training was going. It was going wonderfully. They have claw machines. It’s like they knew their store was to great to be limited to just food. “Why don’t we just stick a claw machine in there?” They have a Starbucks, many vegan options, and the best marinara sauce ever (I’ve had it since I was a kid and now can’t have anything else). The location is just fantastic as well. Short ride from downtown, in the middle of a strip mall, lots of parking, and right next to my house (that’s the best part). They have a bakery where a fire is always lit and pot pies. POT PIES. AND PORK BUNS. AND MOCHI. It’s too good, ITS TOO GOOD. I don’t deserve this, but I’m so glad I have it. Thank you Safeway, here’s your 5 star rating.

Store was under stocked as well as understaffed . Terrible shopping experience.

I live on the other side of town and will drive past the other Safeway to shop here. The wine selection is much better. The selection for other items is more extensive as well. Its always very clean and the staff are great. It can get crowded during busy times and holidays. And they have gas outside. Worth the drive across town.

The people who work in this Safeway have no knowledge where there products are. Or even will try to help you out. I use to work grocery and we knew our store. And if we worked in bakery or deli we would try to help the customer. Instead I found in this Safeway people pertaining not to speak English or just wouldnt take the time to help out. I know they are on a time line. But God Dam what ever happened to help the customer. This Store looks nice but the people who work here they need to be more polite. And learn to just make a minute to help someone.In these days you see more and more people not using manner. Maybe people are just not being brought up with them. But if that the case I believe employers should enforce having manners while working.If I happened to have to go back to this Safeway I should be just as self centered as the employees that work here. Or better yet show these people it doesnt matter who you are or what you have or dont have. Manners are free! And you can have employees that either think they are better then some. But it just shows the low standard of these kind of people who work in this Safeway.

Love the employees & their selection of items. We shop there regularly & are religious about filling up our gas tanks w/ the points earned everytime you shop their. I often get 60 cents to $1 off the gas price for having shopped there. Only two things I dislike is that your reward points for gas do NOT roll over to the next month & their prices run a bit higher than other supermarkets. However, they are well stocked & the store is clean. Oi took off one star because of their cost.

Joan in the floral dept is the Best ! She is super helpful . I stopped in for a flower arrangement for a friend who had a family member that passed .She made the most beautiful flower arrangement!The flowers blended so beautifully and the colors were soft and appropriate .This is my go to floral place as long as Joan is working !10 stars !

Good upscale grocery store on north First st. It near the freeway for easy on and off the I580. Produce section and baked breads are excellent.

Well stocked for sure. Can be busy quite a bit and thus especially on weekends, but their staff is very capable of making everything flow. Plus the extensive Boars Head meat and cheese selection is worth the trip alone!

Safeway always merchandises product to allow the shoppers list to continue growing throughout their visit. Always passing up the cart, it never fails by the tine I approach the checkout line, I regret not grabbing one of the 4 wheeled conveniences. Soe reason I erroneously choose I dont need a true shoppers tool, decision Influenced by my pre-written list to keep my purchase to a minimal, I manage to get an ego to that of an octopus as I exit juggling far more treats and goodies than anticipated. The displays are so too irresistible.

Dirty and does not carry a lot of items anymore. A lot of Hispanic foods instead. Plus their prices are higher than Trader Joes, Nob Hill & Lucky. I do not like this store.

Love the fresh flowers, fruits, meats and veggies. The cakes, desserts, food.counter has a variety of foods to offer.

I shop here all the time. But, basically overpriced. For example, butter was $5.99 lb here and $2.99 lb at Target across the street. Ground beef was $5.99 lb here and $3.99 at Target across the street. Reasonably nice store. They are having trouble keeping it stocked during COVID.

Safeway is my go to grocery store for everything I cannot get at Walmart.

This store is a mess! Shelves are not stocked, cannot find anything, items are on rolling racks, stock is very depleted. I would avoid shopping here, never seen anything like it. Would rate this store a zero if possible

It should be more people that customer service help with the customer and not just fill in

The bakery products are the same good quality that you would expect from Safeway. They have a good selection of prepared foods including sushi and sandwiches in addition to the standard groceries.

Livermore Safeway is fantastic! Their wine selection is off the charts, and their sushi is killer good! Oh and they have a great meat selection, gotta love them meats!

Im from out of State, so I was new to the Safeway franchise. Very pleased. Super clean store, employees went out of there way to save me some money using there discount card. The also have Fresh Seafood and cut to order Steaks among other fine food and selections.

We have a Safeway directly in front of our house in Dublin, BUT I go to this Safeways Pharmacy.. Micheal, Jeanine and the other staff are wonderful, kind and extremely helpful. I have so much appreciation for the staff at this Pharmacy. They have helped me out so much that I will never forget. Just try for yourself and see, I cannot find the words to show my appreciation. Thank you.

I just wanted to give A HUGE HUGE SHOUT OUT to the bakery manager there Lillian Velasco. She went above and beyond to make my sons first birthday very special. I HIGHLY Recommend coming to her for anything. She will not disappoint she asked me to trust her and I did and honestly I do not regret it. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING! I loved my sons 1st birthday cake it’s so beautiful! She even went above and beyond to make my son an extra personal cake at no charge.

I just wanted to thank the wine lady, she has been helping me choose a wine for my wife for Christmas. I know nothing about wine and she goes out of of her way to help

The better of the two Safeway, both of which are one first street. Thanks to covid its harder to see the difference, but when I tell people which grocery store to choose, or where I found a particular sale, I always tell them at the nicer safeway.

Going here forever and never had issues but after covid-19 the way i see them work on their customer service, safety, masks, cleaning carts is simply amazing. This Safeway is really good. Always well stocked, prices are always clear, really really clean and great customer service if you ever need help with anything esp at the self check out counter. 5 stars always

Very nice shopping experience.

The store is clean produce and isle well stocked, but the pre-made deli and soup area are usually picked clean of the good items and their wine section is on the smaller side.

It was nice and clean inside a very busy Place although I stopped in for some fried chicken. And they allowed me to mixed it with. Baked chicken it was Fridays $5 special. I liked it a lot. I also use the Wells Fargo Bank inside. How convenient?

Always an easy in and out. Rare something I need is out. Store is always clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. Great thing is, this location is open 24hrs on the odd occasion I have to stop by early in the morning.

Today was a good day to visit Safeway. Store was not crowded and I found almost everything on my list. Seems like manicotti is no longer carried by most stores, Safeway included.Checkout was fast in self-check as there was no line, so it was a quick in and out.

Im in your store all the time like 6 days love the store not happy at all with the bakery I get donuts for my residents twice a week and theyre never ready by 5:30 or even 6 need more employees working

Love this Safeway! Compared to the store @ 1500 Vintner square/ close to downtown, this store is so much better! Cleaner, better stocked, food is fresher not out dated. Doesnt seem like the store downtown is even Safeway UGH!
