I love going to a business and being able to get in right at my appointment time. At HRC I never wait, i get in to see the doctor, shes prepared and ready for me. Then were able to sit down a discuss what the results are, how am I doing with my hearing in various setting, and what my options are. Just a truly pleasurable and professional visit.

One of my hearing aids wasnt working this morning and as a teacher, I depend on them every day to teach my students. Hearing Rehab was able to fit me in between patients and replace the part very quickly. I am so grateful to their service and support.

I have been coming to Hearing Rehab Center for three years now. Dr. Jamie is very thorough and truly knows what she is doing. She explains the process as she examines you and makes it easy to understand what the next steps may be regarding needing hearing aids.Kathy is very good at her job. Whenever I have a question she is quick to call and answer it. If I have an issue with my hearing aids, I know Kathy will be right on it. Usually she takes care of the issue while I wait. Rude, condescending, unprofessional ... and thats how they treat a 4+ year customer. Specifically, I reference Jamie Gilgren at the Longmont office. This was my experience during an August 2020 visit. Ostensibly, this visit was to see how things were going during a trial period with a new set of hearing instruments. At least thats what I thought. Nope. Jamie Gilgren wanted money ... a lot more money for HRC (apparently) than what my insurance actually was willing to pay. This amount (later verified in conversation with my insurer) was egregiously off the mark. But, Jamie wasnt having it. She was deeply offended that I questioned the quality of the instrument and further taken aback when I asserted the insurance numbers she was quoting me were wrong. Extraordinary rudeness, condescension from management (John wrote me an apology in which he explained insurance coverage to me as though I were a child), and misrepresentation. If that sound appealing, give them a call. Youll love it there.

My 98 year old dad desperately needed his hearing aid repaired because he hadnt been hearing for a week or 2. He lives in assisted living and I didnt know where to take him. He heard about this place and directed me there. I took the aid inside and went back to sit in the car with dad. They brought it out in about 10 min.and dad put it in and smiled and said it worked!! We really appreciated their immediate care and help! Well remember for next time!

Cant thank Kathy Harvey and HRC for helping me with my hearing aid emergency! During a visit to Longmont the tubing on one of my hearing aids almost split in half and I was unable to hear anything. Since I couldnt call to make an appointment I just showed up at their door. Kathy was so helpful when I explained my problem and was able to replace the tubing right then. I didnt get to meet any other staff but if they are anywhere near as kind and professional as Kathy is I cant think of a better place to recommend. Wish I lived closer... they would be my hearing center of choice!!!

I scheduled a consultation for a Tinnitus screening, and Jamie was extremely informative, taking all the time necessary to explain possible causes for the condition and what my treatment options would look like. This is the best hearing center in Colorado. Spent 30 minutes with Dr. I explained my ringing in my ears,I was having. She told me it could be my meds,and to get with my primary Dr too change one by one to see if the ringing would stop. If not come back. All at no charge, for first visit. Was treated so great. Last month both my husband and I took advantage of a free hearing evaluation and consultation at The Hearing Rehab Center in Longmont. I wasnt sure what to expect, but was very impressed with everyone and everything about it. The scheduler went out of her way to make sure we could both go at the same time, and the diagnostic evaluations were very thorough and explained completely. Dr. Jamie put us both at ease - we felt respected and well cared for. In the end, neither of us required treatment at this time - and no effort was made to try to sell us anything! Ill definitely go back to Dr. Gilgren in the future, and recommend her to my friends and family.

I cant say enough about the professional, caring and courteous experience I always receive at the Longmont HRC.I always receive a warm and friendly greeting from Kathy as soon as I arrive. Dr Jamie is always professional. She is patient in answering my many questions related to my current and future hearing needs. She recommends all hearing aid options available to me, and those that would best meet my hearing requirements. I feel extremely confident that Dr. Jamie is providing me with the best hearing care available.

For years I suffered from ringing in both of my ears and apparently had some hearing loss too. My wife strongly suggested I get a test performed. I swallowed my pride and went to another facility and got tested. At the end of my test the Doctor showed me the chart and gave me a one or two minute explanation of the results. Even after asking the Doctor questions, the chart and explanation didn’t make a lot sense, so I went to the HRC in Longmont for a second opinion.I cannot even begin to describe the difference between the visits. I was immediately impressed by Dr. Gilgrin’s knowledge and thoroughness. Her explanation of my tinnitus, hearing loss and the options I had for treatment were equally thorough. Dr. Gilgrin and her staff were amazing, and genuinely cared for me and my treatment. They’re a rare find in today’s health care industry, I can’t thank them enough.

My husband finally agreed that he wasnt hearing very well, and after a lot of research we chose HRC. Dr. Jamie Gilgren is very nice and very patient. She was able to show what the problems were and worked with him to find the right hearing aids for him. He is noticing sounds he says hes never heard before. We are both very happy with his progress here.

Jamie Gilgren has been helping me with my hearing needs for 3 years ever since she helped me with my first hearing devices. She has always done an excellent job of getting things right when adjusting my devices. Additionally, she has always been quite personable as well as highly professional. Dr. Gilgren is AWESOME! She has been my audiologist for many years and I know I can always count on her to know the products well and has always been able to help me get the best product for me. This year she recommended new hearing aids from Starkey that sync with my i-phone. They are wonderful! I am now able to connect via blue tooth to my phone so I can hear conversations through my hearing aids. Its so much easier to hear that way! There is also a special feature to adjust the aids to specific locations that are sometimes hard to hear for me. Kathy is also very, very helpful. One day I called the office and Dr. Gilgren was out but Kathy was able to help me adjust the filter on the aids. What a great office environment and wonderful, wonderful people to work with. Id recommend their office in a heartbeat to anyone who wants the best!

I have had my hearing aids for nearly 2 years now and the frequency of my tinnitus has diminished significantly. The staff in Longmont is professional and personal. They are knowledgeable and understanding of the problem I was suffering with. I put the aids in and have worn them without difficulty since. I definitely notice if I forget them. Superb service and followup.

Ive never updated a review but decided to try it here. Dr. Jamie listens to you. Its obvious she loves people and wants to take care of her patients rather than selling a hearing aid. She even referred me to another professional for an entirely different reason just to help me more. I dont know how she does it but she always remembers me as if I saw her yesterday.Dr. Gilgren takes her time with you. She listens. She empathizes. She strategizes with you to create a solution that is personalized for you. I can tell that she truly enjoys her profession and her patients. Also, Dr. Gilgren has chosen good people to help her within the office. Kathy is sweet and supportive. I can tell that Kathy is truly happy with her job and also happy helping patients too.

I became a patient of Dr. Gilgren when my existing audiologist moved from the area. In addition to simply needing to hear better, I had to be able to reliably hear my portable radio as part of my job.Dr. Gilgren recommended a hearing aid that worked well but the first device selected to connect the radio to the hearing aids wasn’t really designed for the short radio transmissions.Hearing the radio reliably is a complex interaction between the radio, the hearing aids, the hearing aid iPhone app and Apple’s accessibility settings. Dr. Gilgren patiently tried several different devices to connect the hearing aids the radio. She explained the limits of the Apple software and supported my requests during the 4 months it took to have a working solution.I greatly appreciate Dr. Gilgren’s expertise and patience while working this out. She went to great lengths to work with both me and the manufacturer to charge a fair price for all the devices we tried.

The level of care Dr. Gilgren provided was exceptional. It is clear she really cares about her patients and their needs. It was a joy to see how happy the patients were with their new instruments after Dr. Gilgren fitted the instruments and discussed how they were used. Dr. Gilgren is very courteous and caring. Her and her staff makes people feel comfortable and relaxed right away when they enter her offices. She knows what she is doing as well as how to put things in laymans terms so that the patient understands what is going on with their hearing. Dr. Gilgren also explains how she can help. If that means nothing can be done, then she lets a patient know that, but she is also understanding of a patients financial needs and tries to help by recommending sources that the patient can access. She is such a caring person, that you can tell right away that she understands and wants to help. Her customer service is above reproach (and this coming from someone who has been in business for 20 years, both as a manager as well as owning his own business).

I would highly recommend Dr. Gilgren to anyone with hearing issues or anyone even considering just getting your ears checked. I have had hearing issues and tinnitus for years and had always been hesitant to get them checked out. I am now kicking myself for not going to see Dr Gilgren sooner. She took the time to understand my ongoing issues and helped me to understand the causes and effects of hearing loss and tinnitus. After running a thorough set of diagnostic testing she was able to determine the extent of my hearing loss and fit me with a hearing aid that has made an amazing difference in my everyday life. We just started going to Dr. Jamie Gilgrens office to address my 9 year olds hearing loss, and we are genuinely pleased. Dr. Gilgren is highly knowledgable, and answers my questions clearly and without technical jargon. She also talks directly to my daughter about her hearing and how to use her hearing aid, which feels caring and respectful. I was skeptical about getting hearing aids after a not so good experience at another hearing center a few years ago. My hearing loss was getting worse, so I went to see Dr. Gilgren. I am very happy with the hearing aids she selected for me. The aids fit perfectly, the aids stay in place, no fidgeting on my part. I have adapted to my aids and they are comfortable. Dr. Gilgren has been patient with me and a good listener to find the best support that I need for my hearing loss. Being able to hear again is an amazing experience! Dr. Gilgrens assistant, Kathy, is pleasant and very welcoming. I am glad I gave myself the chance to hear again by going to see Dr. Gilgren. This is the best decision I have made for my health!

Ive been wearing aids for the last 20+ years. I had been struggling with a top of the line national hearing aid brand for the last 4 years. After a year I took the first purchased version of that brand back and demanded my money back. Their performance was unacceptable. I accepted the next version of that brand and struggled for another three years. Their performance was so bad it had become a quality of life issue.I went to the Longmont Hearing Rehab Center and Dr. Jamie Gilgren recommended a pair of Phonak aids which I have been wearing for less than a week to date. I can now carry on a natural conversation with my wife, I can hear others at the table in a restaurant and my wife is telling me how much better I can hear her.Dr. Gilgren is a warm, knowledgeable person who has improved my ability to hear and understand others a great deal. I highly recommend the Longmont Hearing Rehab Center.
