A supermarket with all the staples and then some that you need for Asian cooking at home.It also has a little food court in the back.My go to place for a quick and tasty affordable lunch.

The Asian Mart is a very clean market. Their air filtration system is amazing, because grocery markets usually have some sort of smell. Not even the fresh fish can be smelled.They recently added a Bistro, which I intend to try on my next visit. They have great pricing. I will be back for some supplies for future catering events.

Decided to check out this market and there is many different items you can find if you are looking for asian ingredients. They had a wide variety of vegetables, sauces, snacks, etc. They also had a small bakery section, fresh seafood, and just a wide variety of things to choose from. They also had a small restaurant that you can purchase ready made food. We ordered the steam buns but they did have ready made food where you can order like a 2 choice meal. They also had some cooked duck to purchase. I am not from the area so they didn’t have some things that I was looking for…and I just didn’t want to try another brand. Store was a bit dirty and old looking but for the most part did provide a wide variety of Asian items to choose from. It’s bigger than most Asian stores in the area.

I would call this the Asian Costco of metro Detroit- a one-stop-shop place. It has a large variety of items and a food court in the back.I appreciate that they enforce a strict gloves and mask policy to shop there and provide gloves if you dont have any.I come here for the convenience despite what hiccups that may happen during my shopping experience such as trying to ask staff for information regarding items and the card reader at the check out sometimes not working.5 stars for variety, 2 stars for customer service, 3 stars for check out experience.Management, if you can have a way to look up items and their location through an app or your website I would gladly amend this rating to 5 stars.

They had very well priced products and their takeout was delicious.

You can find some japanesse, Thai, Vietnamite and Chinesse rice, noodles, veggies, Yaca, fresh fish, dumplings, taro, marcha ice cream.. is like Dinsleyland yo foodies like me

This place is an absolute gem.They could move into a space twice the size and fill it out just fine.They have an amazing variety of items. They have a fantastic produce selection, that is surprisingly reasonably priced, a bakery, the seafood selection has enough live anminals they give the aquarium at great lakes crossing a run. Same with their meat dept, lots of exotics but the staples are still reasonable. They have an aisle of just soup bowls. The place is amazing and always busy. Parking is ample. And precovid they had a restaurant in there. They also have a deal where Fuji Buffet will cook up your groceries into a meal for additional cost. If you like Asian food or just looking to mix it up, i cant recommend this place highly enough

Huge. Have everything. Takeout spot in the far right corner where you can take out rice + 3 dishes or roast meats. Easy parking and good location.

This is the best Asian market youll find around here. Great deli and great selection.

Usually it’s a great supermarket, but I went today (August 3rd 2021) purchased this Tiger Sugar milk tea. I opened it and it did taste funky and it wasn’t until my sister pointed it out that it was expired!!! It’s also a pretty far trip from my house to the store to go back and return, so hopefully next time they check the expiration dates before stocking them out to the public.

I went today to look for Asian candy/snacks and wow they had such a great selection here! I got two different kinds of Kit Kat’s and lots of other goodies. I even was able to find one of the wiggly Japanese cheesecakes that I am super excited for. The takeout food alone was amazing, definitely try the sesame chicken! I really loved the experience. There were so many cool things even great looking produce and fish. I also got a few different sweet buns from the bakery which were delicious. Really love this place, definitely will visit again soon! :)

Gargantuan amount of unique products in the store. Fresh seafood, produce, and other items not found in regular stores. Essentially a one stop shop. The steam buns, were extremely warm and tasty. A bit doughy, however the contents on the inside had a extremely flavorful taste to it. In addition they had fresh halibut! Whole! Also there are quite a bit of deserts as well, along with quick frozen meals. The menu for the items to eat while there is pretty tasty extensive as well. Again very fresh and definitely worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back to this extraordinary establishment to shop and eat the soonest.

So many unique items you cant find at any generic grocery stores. Good prices, store was clean and well stocked... Very cool 0laxe to shop! Will be going back to try the food court soon

Cant compare it to the big stores in east/west coast with larger Chinese populations, sadly this is probably the largest Chinese grocery store in Michigan at least for now. Price for vegetable is fine as they have sales items weekly. If you have smaller local stores around you, its probably not worth the drive as their prices arent that great. Tried their food court a few times. Expensive and not having very good taste. Staff is horrible. Every shopping trip, I buy 150-200 lb rice. They would refuse to help loading them to my car. They also made me to leave the store to fetch my member card. They dont seem to care for customers.

Wonderful international market! They have so many products I love to look around there every time, and get a bundle of goodies. Some prices are higher than Ive seen, but I know that it is probably due to import rates. Absolutely recommend.

I come here often with my friends and family in order to get the red bean buns and chicken curry buns. The cheesecake is also excellent and the prices are ideal for people who want to find amazing Asian food at a great value. The store is clean and beautifully kept, well stocked and easy to navigate. I recommend it to anybody looking for a unique culinary and shopping experience or for those who need hard to find ingredients for traditional dishes.

Lots of great food to buy- aside from the East Asian things, the groceries are also good here, and you can get things like duck eggs and organ meat from here. They sell plenty of Asian candy and snack food, and their pastry section has a good selection of goodies, too.Definitely come here if youre looking for something from that part of the world. They also have a food court in the back where you can buy your own lunch. Youll love it!

This Asian market is one of the best markets around Michigan. I have had great shopping experiences here and there are so much food options. But they need to improve their fruit selection. Will come back.

And if you want a new membership card, you have to make another clean $100+ purchase on one single receipt to qualify again.Ask yourself: Customers many-year-long royalty does NOT even count $2. Great math!And the service, even you have doubt on some things you bought, quoted you can go ahead and report to police, but you cannot return it. Nice.

Great Selection, decent prices, and quality food. Finally got a chance to stop in here... From the moment I walked in I was completely overwhelmed by the size of the place. Everything was clean and organized to the point where it was effortless to find what I needed. The backed goods area was full of all kinds of Asian Staples that I have never tried before. I would suggest anything wrapped around a hot dog. 😄 The restaurant area in the baked had everything you could ever want, from the usual well known dishes to complete ducks and pigs. I specifically cam In for the live lobster which are at an amazing price. I cant wait to come back to try some of there frozen goods, ice cream. And the best cheesecake in the world.

Easy to maneuver isles and friendly faces. 5 Stars for overall content of selection and variety.

Large oriental grocery store where you can get almost anything. There’s even a food court with an extensive menu inside the store. Next to the food court is a BBQ section selling the usual meat items. They have a bakery with an impressive selection of goods. There’s a walk-in section for live seafood. You pick what you want from the tanks and they clean it for you. Prices have been going up here, so for many common items you can get them cheaper at other stores.

Very cozy Asian store, they carry lots of different varieties Asian fresh vegetables, also Asian styled sweet desserts.

Recommended by a friend. We have been trying to find pandan leaves to cater nasi lemak our craving. Unfortunately on the day we decided to come,it was not available. Its okay.We found Lingham chili sauce and Laksa curry by Ibumie. A gem from Malaysia. It was an amazing Asian varieties. Miss our curry Maggi.A must for those seeking the truly Asian.

I went to go buy live lobsters and the 2lbs and over are 8.99 a pound while the 2lbs and under are 7.99 a pound. So when I first ask the guy for over 2lbs lobsters he was trying to sell me the under 2lbs for 8.99. Another guy in the fish department saw this and told the guy NO they are 7.99 a lb. So they got into a argument and the honest guy holler out its 7.99 we dont have no 8.99!! Its DISHONESTY like that, that make me skeptical about going into places like this! Thanks to the honest guy for telling the truth! 👍

This store is gigantic! This is the largest Pan-Asian market I have been to in Michigan, and is completely packed with goods. It has an enormous selection of items - it seems like they cant even fit it all in. The prices are very low, as well. The restaurant supply section stands out as a place you can get many things much cheaper than anywhere else, but the whole market has very reasonable prices. Absolutely huge selection of many kinds of produce, fish, and baked goods that you simply will not find anywhere else in the area. This market is worth attending whether you have a specific need for something Asian that is hard to find at other places or simply to browse and check out the selection.

Wide selection of Asian items. Aisle set up a little confusing but manageable. Biggest thing wrong for me is you can smell the fish from front doors. Kind of gives me a not fresh vibe.

I love this store, Ive been a patron for over 4 years now. they have a great selection of items from all around Asia, although the main staple of this store is Chinese cuisine. They have a bakery (I recommend the pork bread) and lots of snacks.

Compare with other grocery stores, it is not clean, but I love the variety of food choices, always provide something new and popular on the markets. I love their cold dish section as well. Can be better if they focus on cleaning and organizing.

SO authentic! An entire, full grocery aisle for noodles, one for tea! Great place for fresh seafood that is hard to find. Great local place for Asian skincare/ hair/ beauty products. Produce and divine baked goods!! We go about once a month!

A really great place to shop if you love Asian products. However, employees seem unfriendly and they dont even speak English so its hard to communicate especially if you want to ask some questions regarding a certain product.

Its like pretty amazing considering were in the Midwest. Theyll have some version of most anything youre looking for. Also pricing felt very fair.

This is the market to go to for all your Asian cooking needs and more! They carry products from all over Asia including China/Japan/South Korea/Thailand and Philippines. The candy and snacks selection is top notch with something new to try every visit. The noodle selections in both fresh/dried is the best of any store Ive seen. They have a bakery that does fresh cakes as well as bun/rolls/bread. Try the shredded pork bun, youll thank me! They also offer hot meals in the rear of the store, along with a huge fresh/frozen seafood selection and butchers.The only reason I took away 1 star is because they closed the Bubble Milk Tea/Jelly/Fresh Macaroons/Ice cream counter. Was my favorite place for boba! They also tend to get crazy busy and never open all the checkout lanes so its not unusual during the weekend to have line backed up down the aisles.

Love the market and have tried to shop there twice but my experience is that if you need help finding anything or questions all the people working can only say ( Don’t Speak English ) so it makes it difficult to get any help so I have found another market called H-Mart they were super friendly and can help u better.I felt like they really didn’t care about my business at 168

Loved it, very big selections of everything. Got some snacks to try and lots of noodles. Japanese mayo if you know what it is its delicious this is where to get it. Ill be back for sure. The isles are filled with boxes and it gets pretty crowded.

There is full of Asian food and groceries. It comes in Thai, Korean, Taiwanese and Chinese groceries. Also, they sell some Chinese cuisine. Especially, 麻辣燙 tastes so good. Moreover, bubble tea here is good as well. However, I like WOW milk the most.

Good selection of groceries! Dont eat at resturant, exspensive, inconsistant food. Had a couple of really good meals there but gave up, most times dissapointing. Staff is rude. Asked for a carry out box and told it would cost a dollar.

This is one of the cleanest Chinese grocery store in the area ! Lots of authentic merchandise, good veggie selections, quality meats and seafood selections. They price the merchandise a bit higher than regular grocery stores as there is little to no competition .

The 168 Asian Mart is very neat and clean (inside the store). I was expecting more fish option here like other Chinese/Korean Grocery Stores. Easy to find the parking and the great thing is the parking is free!... You will get anything whatever you like to have. I like the hot food corner and I wish they would sell Kosher/Halal food. Hope 168 Asian Mart Management will think about this in near future.

I was able to purchase items thats been really hard to find elsewhere

I asked a spanish worker there if the corns in plastic trays were just regular American corns. He said no. They were sold more than a dollar and half each so I thought they must be those Asia corns that are sticky and chewy. I asked if those are Asia corns. Without blinking he said yes. It turned out he was lying. They were just cheap corns that cost 30 cents each elsewhere. Not a very good experience!

The store is clean. Before you enter the store, gloves will be given. Theres also sanitizer on the side of the entrance. Theres a variety of products to choose from- Asian, Thailand, Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan. Theres also durian, dragon fruit, jack fruit, rambutan, etc. Overall experience is 5/5.

I drive all the way from the Lansing area to shop here because the variety far exceeds that of any Asian market in the Lansing area many times over. I particularly enjoy the selection of Vietnamese foods which I have been unable to find at other Asian markets. They also have a good selection of the Japanese Sangaria Ramune drinks.
