Love this supermarket so such! I don’t know how many times I forgot my cellphone in this store and the staff kept it for me. They are super friendly. This store have everything I need. It’s a one stop shop for me for all my Asian cooking needs!
Love this place. Our go to Asian grocery store. Avoid the weekend because it gets super busy. I wish their store was bigger.
What a great selection but beware, if you see the parking lot full the store is even more crowded. Fresh vegetables, fish and meat with just about anything else you can image.
One of my favorite Asian grocery places to go to. If the big groceries don’t have what I’m looking for, Kim Nhung usually does!
Parking space is big but is crowded because there’s always a lot of people shopping in that plaza. This store has many good grocery options from sauces to meats. Their vegetable options is limited. They don’t have most vegetables to choose from. Otherwise I love to come here for their drink options and noodles.
Best selection of vegan items in the state of michigan (especially vegan seafood, which is VERY hard to find)
I am unable to get to the area on a regular basis so to have a change up from the typical meat & potatoes variety is awesome!
I like Vietnamese food and the products that they offer.
Great store for South East Asian groceries. Family owned and run. They are very customer focused. The store is well stocked.
One of the most well known Vietnamese grocery stores in Michigan. I wish they moved into to a bigger building because they clearly need more space, but I think they own the entire strip mall so theyre not willing to sell it.Theres another Kim Nhung grocery store in Grand Rapids called Kim Nhung Super Store thats also well known in Michigan - at one point both were sister stores: two sisters ran the Kim Nhung grocery store name - one owns the Madison Heights store and the other owned the Grand Rapids store. The sister in Grand Rapids moved to out of state and sold the store to someone else. Theyre now running independently. The Madison Heights store needs to expand and move into a much bigger building like the Grand Rapids store.
My wife loves this store. They frequently get these green mangos that are highly sought after by filipinos.
Love this grocery store, they all everything I need for my Vietnamese cooking.
Enormous selection of Asian groceries. Spices, staples, fresh produce, seafood; fresh and frozen. Definitelya hidden gem. They had everything on my list!
Staff is nice and friendly. Always find what I need. Love the hot food and sandwiches. However, place is small and cramped. No social distancing nor limitations on how many people allowed in store. Do not go on sundays.
I shop here often. Nice fresh produce and deli always slices deli meats the way I like! I love the selection of international and organic foods as well. I was looking for a particular middle eastern ingredient and George went out of his way to help me find it!
My go to place for seafood and anything asian cuisine related. Reasonable prices and quick service.
Very good variety of fish. Reasonable prices.
My favorite place to shop.
The food is amazing...the pork chops are my favorite.
Kim was faTulous... gVe good tips Im red envelopes... enjoyful happy ending for sure
The food was excellent. The service was very good. Ill be back.
Extremely clean and neat store--and that is so important, and appreciated. Love this store. Great selection, competitive prices. Ill definitely be a regular here.
Awesome place to get just about anything you need for Asian cuisine. If you are looking for something call or fb IM and they respond within an hour. Super friendly and helpful while shopping to find things also. Cant believe it took me so long g to get there! Worth the drive!
Bought a pack of pork picnic here and put into the freezer right away when I got home (the meat stay in the car for only 20 mins with air condition on). Thawing in the fridge for couple of hours. Opened it when the meat was still icy hard. Man, IT SMELLS! I Have to throw it away. When I return to the store and ask for fresher meat instead of packs from their open cooler which I think the temperature is not low enough to keep the meat fresh, I received a firm no, even after I told them I bought an stinky pork picnic here from them. I’m not even asking for a refund! I hate to do a negative review but this time I need to give them one star. The biggest problem is that they don’t put processed date on the package, I wonder why???
Fresh produces n meats.
Very courteous and attractive staff.I also contacted them by Facebook to find ingredients for a recipe, and they responded back to me quickly. They also knew where everything was in the store and took me directly to it since I was not familiar with it.
I like this place. Its quite small, but here we can find almost everything from VN, Philippines, ... I love to shop here.
I love my asian market its the real great, and service. Everything is great 🙂
Good selection. Needs a makeover.
Please take your money else where. This place do not respect their customers over minor inconvenience of a refund. They do not understand customer service. The place is clutter and cramp with no space to move around and dont limit the amount of people coming in during this pandemic.
Great place and great food!!!!
Frankly I was disappointed. I am not sure what customers they are trying to appeal to.A difficult store to shop as items difficult to find.
Very good variety in s mall store, good prices and variety of aisian products
I can always find what I need here if I cant find it at the Chinese store
Too many people no social distancing no hands sanitizer scary
We were there on Sunday and was too crowded for the Coronavirus pandemic. Cant social distancing!!
Get good food and my favorite place to shopping
Vast selection of everything you need to make authentic Asian dishes. All of the employees are cheerful and ready to help. Fresh meats and seafood are available, along with unique vegetables and exotic fruits.
Good pho service was okay
Everythings is bad 👎even theyre not clean the fish if you buy it
Need to be organize the place
The store and parking lot are very small and always crowded. The food are fresh most of the time. Had a bad experience buying green tea ice cream. The ice cream didnt taste like green tea at all and it had some freezer burn. It also cost a whooping $9.00 and its not worth it. I was so upset that i wasted money on it. DO NOT buy their ice cream, no wonder there was so much in stock still.
The food was great and they recently remodeled. The walls were painted green, but now thet have a nice blue brick pattern on bottom and pretty murals on top.
Smells like spoiled fish when you come in
Good shopping market. You can find most southeast asian stuffs here.
I love their bulk foods section with a huge selection. I find their produce to be very good as well! I like to use the self-check-out at the end and I get in and out fast thereby saving on time.
Always have what I need.
Great place for all you asian food needs. I go here all the time.
International fruits and Vietnamese sausages
We always buy our oriental foods here. Good service, friendly helpful employees, and reasonable prices. Fresh produce always being restocted daily. We recommend them highly
Busy. Could use a little more lighting. Its so dark. Makes it feel dirty with the wall and floor coloring. They carry many Asian sweets and noodles. Fresh fish and frozen pork belly with the skin.
Went there for one thing...nope
Taste good!
They have all sorts of asian food!
Looks like about the only place that consistently has raw okra around here
Awesome!
Great Asian, Vietnamese market in town with variety fresh food
Best place around to get your asian grocery. Has been going here for years. No complaints.
Great place for any Asian cooking. My stepmother was Thai and taught me many amazing recipes. I have always been able to find what I need here. However, it smells so bad because of the fish that it is sometimes very difficult to stay in there for very long :-P
Very clean and a wide variety of different foods.
Smelly inside the store.
Had the fish i need and I was in and out in five minutes
Pricier than other Asian stores but they do have a good variety of things. Love when they get fresh fruits in like durian, jujubes, star apple fruits, etc since not many Asian grocery stores have them. If they do, it is usually frozen
There are lots of Asian fruits and vegetables to buy,the only thing I dont like about as a vegan, there are live lobsters to sell.
Small Asian store with a lot of variety packed in. Great prices on shrimp and fresh fish. They do blue crab every week just have to make sure you get there when the shipment comes in because they die fast. I would avoid a cart during peak times in this store as it is too small to navigate with a cart and people are very pushy in here. Be ready to fight your way to the front to get what you want!
Honestly I use to shop here all the time. Not anymore though. And it’s not just me. My mother and sister in-law were charge for stuff that they never brought. When they confronted them they argued with them. They used to be the go to place. But now there are so many competitors around. You don’t need to settle for them.
This place is pretty tiny, and Its not very clean either. I gave it an extra star because its one of the only Vietnamese markets around. Their prices are also pretty fair.
Very nice clean, friendly. Thanks for help homeless people in next holidays. You can looking on Facebook NHÓM TRI ÂN. you can see
My favorite store..
Good
It had all the asian things that I needed, and they started selling boba in a can.
Great selection of produce and meats. Awesome market.
Great place to get groceries. The things that compelled me to give two stars is their cramped spaces and the smell. My family goes here a few times a year to replenish our Asian food supply. The staff are usually busy and they are pretty nice but once, when my daughter was running around to find me, she almost got crushed under a tall stack of 200lb+ rice. The whole thing fell less than a foot away from where she was standing and everyone watched, horrified. Luckily she didnt get hurt but that was a near death experience.
I love this place. The only place where I can get one of my favorite asian candy. So sad that I dont live closer. This store is amazing, so much product in such a tiny space. So affordable and great quality too. Cant be beat.
The people work in meat and sea food area are very rude. No sense of customer service. They do not understand a single word in English. It is their way of processing the order, not the customer way!. You tell something. they do something else. Always the fish look gross after they cut and bagged and clean. This place may be ok for Vietnamese people but definitely not for outsiders! Stay away.
Excellent selection of fresh seafood. I love the quality and prices of the salmon steaks, one of my favorites. Prices are good. Shelves are loaded with imported Asian dry goods and they have a nice selection of fresh produce as well, Ive been using a ton of the Shiitake mushrooms at $4.99 lb. You can also find bowls, soup spoons, and cookware here.
Great place to find any Asian food and fresh seafood
Love it here but the parking lot is too small...
Lots of cool stuff! Great fish selection (fresh and frozen), produce is hit or miss. Otherwise really nice selection of everything. And they have wild boar! They also have balut if your into that. Really nice staff too- no roundeye treatment!
Its an independent family owned Asia market. They do have live fish, turtles, slimy eels and much more. This place is not for faint of heart, but if youre Asian its normal to see all of that. My advice to you is go and experience Super Dragon Superfood. Thank you
Very professional and friendly staff. My to go place for Asian staples that are not available at the American store. The clerks are friendly. Cant stress how friendliness is important when serving non Asian customers :)
Great place for orientals
Love this little store. Its where I go when I need ingredients for my Thai or Korean food.
* LOVE the meat/ produce variety.* Good selection of vegan and vegetarian meats in the freezer by the produce/kitchen ware.Frozen black chickens, ox tails, pork snouts, duck heads, beef hearts, squid in a bag, live crabs, conch, etc.
I love Kim Nhung market! Everything is cheaper here and their produce section is top notch! You can all kind Southeast Asian vegetables, herbs, and fruits here for a very good price.
Wide selection of oriental foods. Clean store with reasonable prices. Fresh seafood choices.
One of the better pho restaurant in the area.
A good asian grocery store that offers fresh or frozen seafood, fresh produce and a huge selection of other grocery products. Their bean sprouts are top notch and seems to stay fresh longer in the refrigerator.
Every Asian restaurant shops here for supplies so they always have the best ingredients in stock.
Lots of Asian food great selection. Staff is courteous and helpful . Prices are actually very reasonable considering 90 percent of the food is imported. They have canned jackfruit which my lovely Filipina wife adores. There is a Chinese restaurant next to store and the food is great and steaming hot.
My wife is Vietnamese and she likes to shop here for her ingredients to make Vietnamese style food.
I wanted to mention that this store specializes in serving Southeast Asian clientele. Its a great place to buy your Thai and Lao food staples. Dont be afraid to ask for help finding things.
All the employees are so helpful, and so nice. I love this place
