Cute little strip mall restaurant that sells smoothies and bubble teas. I went in there to see if we could have a bookclub meeting there. I think if a dozen of us go we will fill up the place. The drink that I had was good, but a little sweet for my taste, and the macaroon that I bought was really sweet

Been coming here for years! Staff is always friendly and upbeat. Prices are as expected. $4 and up. They have large and small macaroons and they have mochi!! So many flavors. They can get busy and they have outdoor seating in the summer. Favorite place!

I absolutely love Bambu! The staff is always friendly, and they have a great variety of drinks. My all-time favorite drink is the #10. It never disappoints!

Vegan options are available at this location. I tried an authentic smoothie and may I say I was not disappointed.

Delicious bubble tea!!! The price and size is cheaper than most places Ive been to. Went here after homecoming and it was great. Its great that you get 2 free toppings too because most places you have to pay extra. Cant wait to come back

I got the taro milk tea with boba and it was amazing. Its super sweet so if youre not in to overly sweet things, try something else. My husband got the strawberry fruit tea and it was not too sweet. Very happy with our choices and will definitely come back soon!

So delicious! Im pretty much a regular I like to get coffee milk tea with passion fruit bursting boba. Ive tried other boba shops and NOTHING COMPARES!!!! I also love their macrons the birthday cake ones are soooo good!

It was my all time favorite place used to go there every other day and get their delicious Oolong milk tea or their awesome Thai tea. It was my go to places over Ding tea and Kuma.But, sadly the other day everything came to a screeching halt. Now I dont want to destroy the work the employees put into this job because I know its awful hard to do what they do and I respect that!So long story short, I go to Bambu to order my usual order and everything fine and dandy until my girlfriend felt a weird texture in her mouth when she was sipping on her drink.When we take a look it was a fly.. a FLY you saw well in her drink. I call back and let the lady know that we found a fly in our drink and she goes ahead and tries to offer me a new one( I said No) and went ahead to ask for my money back that i spent on that one drink.But, this is where my journey with them came to a stop. Maybe I was just unlucky, maybe it was just a mistake i dont know but, that drew the line for me.Here is the picture too.

Love this place but was so disgusting by all the flies and fruit flies … so nasty … take care of that problem no one wants bugs around their drinks and food !!!

I am so obsessed with bubble tea. After driving past this place countless times and not noticing it, yesterday we noticed it and finally stopped. We were back again today! Their bubble tea is SO good (I recommend the honeydew milk tea with the pearls) and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Even when they are busy you get your order fast. Dont forget to pick up a punch card!We will be going back tomorrow to continue our quest to try everything on the menu and will absolutely be recommending this place!

I ordered #2, what I always order. Came home to find out the drink is missing rainbow jelly and has very little chopped up pieces of pandan jelly. I’m assuming they ran out those topping as I went there 1.5-hrs before closing. They should have informed me that they’ve ran out before making me the drink. VERY disappointed. I drove 30 min to get there (one hour round trip) to get my dessert fix and now all upset. They been very consistent in product quality and I’m very disappointed. 😤😡😩

Went to get a smoothie all I asked cashier to put in less ice in it(dont think its that difficult)she suggested to get tea instead and she just wasnt willing to make a smoothie with less ice. Ended up with milk tea which wasnt to my liking.

I asked for less sugar and they added way too much sugar to my drinks (3X times as much) and bobbas are really hard. Sometime, the drinks are not that good specially when the old lady is working and she dont speak English. She screwed up my order many times! if they keep messing up my drinks and next time wont go there again.

Some of the best boba tea you can get around. Cant go wrong with getting a tea shake either.

We usually get bubble tea when we go to the Chinese market on John R and today we found that they no longer have Bubble tea. I googled for a place nearby and found this. Arent we glad we found this place?We ordered #6and #7. Super impressed. Its not super sweet like other places. We really liked it as they give us with lots of fruits and jelly. Will definitely go there again.

Darn good smoothie. Macaroon tasted good, as did the Mochi. But wont get the Mochi again, not worth the $2 for me.

Bambu is so good. The staff that works there are patient and get you your drinks quickly! Its comfortable to sit and relax inside and they are inviting.

Usually its fine - 4 star. If the owner is at the register though, hell charge you the extra for a large cup without even asking if you want a large cup or not. Just shady, you need to remind him that you dont want the large. He knows what hes doing.

Nice spot for Boba in Michigan outside Ann Arbor!After moving out to Michigan from the Bay Area, its hard to find decent boba anywhere! Luckily Bambu serves a pretty solid selection of teas and things to put in them! Its just about as good of boba as you can get in Michigan, so if you have a craving for some good boba, check it out!

This was one of the cutest places I’ve been to for bubble tea. With amazing bubble tea on top of that! I had the Kashmiri tea and felt like I was back in Asia. Have already come here three times in my two days in MI. I also met some of the owners, they were super friendly and very accommodating. I can’t recommend it enough!

This is a pretty far place for me since the location at partridge creek mall is closed due to them moving stores. I’m soooo happy I found another location for the time being or even when I’m around this area! You’ll be satisfied and find something you’ll love at any bambu place! The taro love che is always my go to so delicious! Recently my boyfriend tried the yogurt slush it was quite good as well! Anyone I take there can find something they love !

Bambiu Desserts and Drinks Madison Heights is a really good place to get your bubble tea. The Taro was amazing and so yummy! My hubby got taro and another to go which was honest dew. This was our first time at Bambu, our local Thai food restaurant suggested Bambu for bubble tea because she lives out here and she was absolutely right, this is the best bubble tea ever! I recommend Bambu for everyone to try, they have a great selection.

My friends and I found this place in January and weve been coming as often as we can ever since because its got such a chill and inviting vibe! Love this place. Bambú is one of my boyfriend’s and my favorite boba tea shops in the area. They got many varieties and flavors you may not find anywhere else.

Bambu is a lot like my last relationship... Amazing highs, terrible lows. Ive had some of the best drinks from here! But Ive also had some of the worst drinks... It really seems like it depends on who is working, and if they care. A three is the perfect way to describe this place, the average experience is average.

Easily one of the best bubble tea/dessert places in Madison heights. Quick service even when lines are long. Affordable prices and new additions to menu every so often. If you want something fun to drink, come here. No alcoholic drinks but more of sweet, healthy, and feel funny drinks. Youll understand if you drink it. I recommend the lychee one. (Order #14) You will not regret it.

Bambu might be one of the best bubble tea shops in the Detroit. But, they sometimes put very little sugar even you ordered half/light sugar, pretty low sweetness.

The drinks always have a different outcome but is still enjoyable. The main issue is the girls working the cash registers. They have bad attitudes and are not attentive at all. If you are missing an item they don’t even apologize for it. They make it seem like we are rude for interrupting their little conversations asking for it. On top of that they slide your drinks to you. Not professional at all. They don’t greet you. No “hi how are you?” no “thanks for coming!” ever everytime I came. The owner needs to hire people you actually want to work not little girls with no people skills....

AMAZING PLACE TO REFRESHIN YOUR BODY AND MIND

Went last Friday after a long time due to weather and being busy. It was dead but service was quick and not bad. A young man helped me. I got a fruit tea,flavor mango. Not bad but the mango was sour as it was the corners that I got from the fruit. It took me a little longer to finish the drink. It was missing something for sure. Packaging was convenient for those on a run. There was no spill accident. I will be back soon.

So good! What a fun place to try a tea drink/combination. Lots of menu options to customize your own drink with suggestions in case youre not sure. The staff wasnt very helpful when I asked about the different add-ins. I also tried the mochi ice cream and loved it! Ill be back.

Drove an hour for bubble tea. Not worth driving again for, but it was fun to try!! (Edit: I have since had bubble tea in my own city, and I NOW realize that Bambu actually IS worth driving an hour for!! I SHALL return!! 👍👍)

I love Bambu. This location was the first one in Michigan. They have always had delicious drinks and Che but lately the quality of the Che has declined. Super hard green tapioca. Red rubies consist of only the water chestnuts and arent coated with tapioca. Half of the time all the ingredients are there while other times half the ingredients are missing. Sometimes the lychee or longans are spoiled and sour. I really hope that the quality of their Che gets fixed because I really loved making the trip down here.
