Stumbled into this place by mistake (desperately seeking cotija cheese) and was amazed by how good this market smelled. Fortunately it was lunch time so we stayed for lunch and I was beyond amazed. Great prices, great sizes, the food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. Beyond impressed and will be back soon!

This place is a hidden gem! Love going to this place every Friday with my dad. We have never been disappointed with anything weve ordered and their breakfast burrito is the bomb! Give that burrito a shot if you havent. You can always taste the time love and care they put in their food. Cant wait to be back this week 😁

Hands down one of the best (if not THE best) tacos in the area. $2.50 for an authentic Mexican street taco stuffed to the brim with whatever protein your carnivorous heart desires, and their tostadas are a meal in itself. Also love the assortment of flavors of chips in the grocery section, just skip the bottled Horchata and get it straight from the guys when you order your food. Light years better.

Total score is 3.9. They almost got a 4.0. I like this place and have visited several times. Chicken tacos were a little spicier than normal. Good for me but my wife couldn’t eat them. The 3 pictures you see are rice / beans and 15 soft shell tacos. Total cost with no tip was just over $ 51.00. I ordered a side of beans and rice. For some reason they came in the same box and in my opinion they are a little on the small side. Picture below shows it shifted a little. As far as tacos go they are bigger than most authentic restaurants and fill you up quickly. They put a decent amount of meat inside these tacos. This place also usually puts cheese in between the two tortillas for some reason today mine had no cheese in any of them. I wanted to order chips and cheese today. Guess what they don’t sell chips and cheese here. Seems weird not to me. As I mentioned I ate here many times. Never noticed they didn’t have it. The restaurant is clean and colorful along with groceries on the right side. Staff was nice. The kid who took my order said 5-10min. I thought that was quick turnaround when he said it but I was the only one there and it was 3:00pm or so. Ended up being 25-30 min. Overall decent experience. Food and staff were average today. I will update this review on my next visit.

Nice meals, theyre corn tortillas are well sourced and their sauces are nice. Burritos have lots of veggies which is a nice change of pace from the usually heavy burritos elsewhere.

Absolutely awesome and very authentic Mexican food. The on Chilada’s were out of this world and so is Al Pastor burrito’s. I also highly recommend the chorizo quesadillas. Absolutely divine. Did I mention the shrimp tacos? Wow. Let them know that you read my review.

Its a great spot for authentic Mexican with a simple menu. Ingredients seem fresh and I was told salsa made daily. Try the tacos with cheese between the tortillas, I was skeptical but its awesome. The reddish orange salsa at the table is damn hot but has great flavor IMO.

This place is amazing and I have lots of memories here with my friends! During work, we always went out here to lunch, even 2 days in a row once! The food is so delicious!!!! And the prices are so reasonable. Their quantity and quality is both exquisite! And their sauces are just amazing, I dont know what the secret ingredient is but I bought a whole box of the red sauce for my dad to take home!! Went there with my guy. I’m a vegetarian. Love the fact that I had so many options not only that, I never knew Mexican good can be this good!!! 🤤 not sure what exactly was there beside the sauce that made my tacos 🌮 and enchiladas so good!I’m again here today ordering carry out. The only thing is that, I noticed someone walking and dinning after we ordered our carry out. She is almost done with her and we still haven’t got the order.But I would defiantly go back there again and again and again. The food is worth it!!

It doesn’t get more traditional than this in Michigan. Small places are the best. Service is incredibly nice, portions are very good, look at that burrito, that’s two servings! And the flavors match what you’ll get in California. This is such a gem of a place. The red salsa is fire! But the green is just right. I want to try the quesadilla next time. Pro tip, call and order ahead, and pick up your order at the convenience store check out side. Grab a glass coke while you’re at it why dontcha.

So glad I found this gem closer to my house. Ive been driving to southwest Detroit for good Mexican food. But this place is authentic and amazing! Prices are the best! They even have elote in a cup! Definitely will be back to get food and check out the market. You can order online and pick up in store. Always friendly. Burritos are huge. Food is soooo good!

This is my favorite taco place in the area by far. Everything is delicious. They also have the best quesadillas fully loaded with shredded chicken. We eat here more often then I should admit to getting takeout but I’m happy to support a small local business.

My girl and I have been here twice now and it hasnt let down. Its our go-to spot for authentic and affordable mexican in Oakland County now. Also found some limón salt that I havent been able to find in over 10 years. Brought back lots of nostalgia.

Just a wonderful experience. Small quaint Mexican restaurant connected next to a small market. Restaurant is really colorful and has a great vibe. Food is really affordable for how delicious it is. I think the tacos and burritos are my favorite, chicken taco was my top choice. Chips and salsa are top notch. I had the tamales but they were good not amazing. The small quesadilla was good but I much prefer the tacos. Make sure the get the classic Mexican coke to complete the meal 👌 and if youre like me and have a sweet tooth you can pick up some Mexican sweets on the market side before you pay for your bill at the cashier

Flavor of food was good but service stunk. Never got half of what was ordered. It was taken off the bill, but thats not the point. Order was placed, server never returned to check on us, food was brought out by someone else, and missing half of order. Ugh.

I discovered this place back in the summer. My buddy took me here.We pull up and its in a strip mall I have passed by this place and never realized this gem was here.The food here is fantastic. I have been here over two dozen times since the summer and food is always fantastic. My go to meal is their chicken Enchiladas Poblanas.

Ive lived in the area for four years now. About 2 years ago my search for the best taco was solved. I went to dozens of restaurants and food trucks all over, but none matched the queso tacos I have gotten here! The Asada, Carnitas and Al Pastor are my go tos but they do offer Veggie options for those who dont want meat alongside many other meat/fish/poultry.Their Salsa Picante they give you is not for the weak of mouth.Its situated in a small inconspicuous corner of a strip mall. There have been very few times when the parking lot is even close to empty!They have indoor seating for those looking for a quick lunch/dinner break but they also have to-go ordering available. If you cant get enough they even do Breakfast Tortas and Breakfast Burritos!If you need any authentic Hispanic ingredients, youll find it there as well.Add this place to your rotation and at the very least put it in your Want-To-Go list as you wont be disappointed!

Believe it or not people can screw up tacos. This place did just the opposite. The bar for what a taco should be has just been raised. I had 3 chicken and 3 steak tacos. I really should have ordered 3 total. Its been 9 hours and Im still not hungry! Chips and salsa were also excellent. I will be going back to try more dishes, when I can eat again. The ingredients were fresh, the meat was seasoned and prepared perfectly. I had cheese in mine melted between the soft shells. Staff was friendly and for came out quickly. It wasnt on the menu but a coworker of mine got a few lengua tacos which you dont find often. This place is half restaurant, half market. They have a lot of good fresh baked pastries and treats for sale. When you walk in you just grab the beverages you want out of the cooler and pay for your meal and drinks on the way out. Stop in and get some tacos, they were delicious.

I have been coming here for years! I believe its been renamed to Taco Tienda now. They have delicious authentic Mexican food at a very reasonable price. The restaurant area is on one side and a small grocery store on the other side.I often get their vegetarian or chicken burrito which is super delicious and very filling. Their red sauce is amazing! I also love their horchata drink. Highly recommend if you enjoy Mexican food!

Half of Tienda Mexicana is a Mexican store and the other half is a small, reasonably-priced, quality taqueria. I recommend the enchiladas poblanas that have a sesame seed, chocolate, pepper sauce. There’s a picture of the take out box below.

The Taco Tienda is our go to place! The prices are very good and the food is amazing. ALWAYS order the Tacos with CHEESE trust me you wont be disappointed. My regular order is two Asada (steak) Tacos with cheese, guac and chips and it is SO FILLING! Their salsa is also pretty damn good! Ive shamelessly drank it before its that good. This time around I got a Asada Burrito and was not disappointed but something about their corn tortillas are extra magical here I had to get a taco with it. There is a God up in this Tienda.

Have been here so many times the staff recognizes us. Without a doubt the street tacos here are absolute best I have ever had. Even my fiance, who is from Los Angeles, said these are better than there!The elote is also delicious and so are their chips and guacamole.The little grocery store is decent too for some quick pick ups. I recommend the mangonada from the little freezer. Its a good sweet treat after tacos. Good variety of items for the little space they have.

I loved these tacos! We ordered the following tacos with cheese: 2 shrimp, 2 chicken, 3 steak, 2 chorizo, 1 al pastor and 2 chicken tamales and rice. You get 1 sauce per 2 tacos ordered. The sauce was so good They, the green was mild but still spicy so I didnt even want to try the hot. 2 or 3 tacos is enough for 1 person in 1 sitting. We used sour cream that we had at home. Tacos were well made, filled with ingredients and so delicious. Very flavorful, I can see why there are so many great reviews. Everything was great, I especially liked the steak or al pastor. (Since we ordered so many I could tell the steak from the al pastor.) Friendly, helpful staff, location also sells groceries. Very neatly packaged with lime and radishes. Maybe next time Ill actually eat the radishes. Food was reasonably priced. This place was very neat. I will definitely return to support this business. I would recommend it.

I had 3 tacos. One each of pollo, chorizo, and asada. The pollo was very good, flavorful and juicy. The chorizo was also very good. I felt the asada was a little dry and crunchy.

Amazing tacos they had cheese between the shells!!! Elote was on point and they had a cool non alcoholic drink selection. We will definitely be going back. Plus theres a market attached and we bought so many treats!!
