This a new Mexican restaurant that we wanted to try since the pandemic, bit they were not able to open due to the Covid pandemic. Finally we were able to go and we loved it. The menu is with a lot of variety, they have the classic tacos, tortas, tamales, they also have pozole and gorditas, all was really good. We tried the tacos, huarache, and pozole and it was delicious 😋 we will be back for sure. We are originally from MX this is the real deal.

Great Mexican food. Got the steak fajitas the first time we went, and the Tampiqueño the second time. Husband got the Torta and a couple of tacos both times. We’ll be coming back again soon!

Great experience! Very cool store with take out food. A small area to sit and enjoy the food but you need to order from the counter. Friendly staff. Super clean. Tons of assortment in the store portion with a lot of authentic products. Definitely will visit again.

This place is really good. I’ve been to Taco Tienda which is just north on John R and it’s just as good, with probably a bit larger menu. The service was quick as well. I’d say the grocery section is a bit smaller than Taco Tienda but that’s just me eyeballing it. The Taco platter and the Fajitas were great.

Seriously, this place is amazing. My husband and I saw the reviews and came in for tacos and fajitas. Our total was about $20 and the quality was phenomenal. It’s a little hole in the wall market with a renovated little restaurant up top. Give it a try 👍🏽👍🏽

I remember when I first heard about this place. My buddy was telling me they were going to be adding a restaurant to this grocery store. I did find out they had some issues when trying to get it opened up and then covid hit. :-( I am delighted to see they are finally open.I decided to dine in. I did notice how busy they were with carryout which generally means that is a good sign.I ordered a chicken burrito and two chicken tacos.Considering how busy they were, I got my food pretty quickly, Bonus points for that. Both my tacos and my burrito were delicious. The burrito is enormous. When I finished eating, I was super full.This place is worth checking out.

I have been waiting for the restaurant to open up! I love the amazing customer service and the food taste delicious. I prefer their pork and steak.The prices are reasonable and the food taste delicious. I would recommend coming here.

Excellent carry out experience. The food has wonderful flavor and is generously portioned. Quesabirria tacos are tremendous - don’t forget the consommé! Really loved the chorizo hurache as well. The market itself is well stocked with groceries & produce.

I had the wet burrito with green sauce. Steak of course. The cheese was Muenster. Went well with burrito but I kind of expected traditional quesso.Not complaining this burrito hit the spot! And the Mexian Coke just completed this meal. I did enjoy the store as well. I got my Mexican candy fix for the week lol.

Super friendly folks making delicious and authentic food! Stopped in to get tacos- marinated pork for me, barbacoa for hubby and son. So delicious! From what I could see of the restaurant, it looked super clean and well definitely be back to eat in. AA++

The rice and beans were very good. My tacos (grilled chicken) were just ok. They were not bad, just not super. Service was nice, friendly, and fast. I will give them another try in the future. The burritos looked good.

There are very few places where you can get authentic Mexican cuisine outside of Detroit, and of this caliber is even rarer still. The store itself also offers a plethora of goods that youd be hard pressed to find even online. Staff always courteous, food always delicious, and reliable turn over make this place a favorite staple of mine and an often go to.

Probably the best tacos we have tried in the Detroit area! Their cecina is great (although the piece in the taco could be a bit bigger). Carne asada and carnitas are also delicious! Plus they have great beverage variety in the store and a lot of good Mexican sweets and snacks!

Good food, good service and very clean place.

The food was good. I was really annoyed that they charge a fee to use visa. If the prefer to charge a fee, make sure its clearly posted. When I asked what the charges was for, the guy points to a sign behind his computer. Which you cant read because of the way the screen is tilted. I shouldnt have to search around to see if Im charged extra to use my card, I would have just paid cash.

The steak tacos are authentic and amazing! Ive been getting them for years at the Tienda down John R. We are happy they opened up the kitchen at Super Taco!

Food is great, we tried pastor, tongue tacos and torta de milanesa, very authentic! Great selection and prices on the market, great customer service!

When you enter there is a small supermarket with standard fares of Latin products. You can place a to go order for a delicious Mexican meal, the place is newly renovated and looks inviting and clean. The restaurant is in the back, its small and cozy. The service is fast and friendly. I ate tacos there for lunch and went back the same day for dinner. I will take pictures next time.

Everyone loves this place! I didnt; I wasnt impressed by the tacos. HOWEVER, they were very authentic and everything else looked great (especially the chips and refried beans dip that a friend ordered ... it was awesome).

We had delicious chicken wet burritos and the torta sandwich. The sandwich was hands down one of the best decisions ever. So so good!

The food is phenomenal the pricing is very reasonable so far I have not had anything on their menu that disappointed me

I absolutely love this place. Its close to my work and I eat here for lunch sometimes twice a week. I have never had a bad meal. The workers are so nice and polite. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Mexican food.

Have loved this little grocery store. So excited they added food. It is delicious and reasonable. Eaten there several times and have tried multiple items. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Employees are very very nice. Place is always clean and prompt.

Fresh and authentic Mexican food. Best tacos I have ever had. The waiter/cashier/probably owner of the place is super nice and fast. You can tell he takes pride in his restaurant and enjoy going to work every day. The market is small but got some cool snacks. I will be back with my friend jake.

We tried Super Taco for the first time tonight. Awesome!! It is also very reasonably priced. I had a couple of chicken soft tacos and a hard shell beef taco. All of them were phenomenal! My husband had the steak burrito and a chicken taco. I of course tried his burrito. It was the best burrito I think I’ve ever had. Seriously impressed with this place! We will be back most likely next week ❤️👍

Fell in love after 1 bite of their steak taco. Brought my family here and they were dying to come back for more the next day.

Been waiting for them to open for a year and did not disappoint. Al pastor is on point and is one of the few places in SE Michigan you can get legit Birria tacos with consomé on the side! Def gonna keep coming back for more!

Small family business. Lunch counter setup with tables in the back. Order at the counter and be seated. Food comes fast and in quantity. I had the steak burrito. Delicious. My date had the best tacos and tostada shes had in five years!

Awful experience to say the least. The online ordering system does not match what their menu says. Received multiple tacos that were incorrect (wrong protein, missing cheese between shells, etc). Our enchiladas were not even warm and the cheese was not melted. I would never recommend this place and recommend their competition down the street.

Under seasoned, bland, fairly gross. No salsa. Taco Tienda is better. Would have given you one star but Im not a monster. I just hate piss poor food. Be better.

First time every trying here and let me say I’m not a big fan of Mexican food but this was the best food I’ve tasted in a while I got the grilled steak quesadilla and the grilled steak tacos with melted cheese. This is the only place I will eat at.

Real authentic Mexican food. I ordered a burrito and enchiladas and they were amazingly good. What I loved the most was the salsa roja that came with the chips. Not disappointed at all.

Super Taco is now open for takeout! I just had two steak tacos and a tostada - amazing! They also offer two salsas one mild and one hot. I love the hot... it actually has some real heat. Worth a visit! -Dave

The best place to find a real Mexican Torta, the cuban style torta was delicious, the pastor tacos and steak tacos are really good, I like them a lot.

I dont live nearby, but I go out of my way to shop here by a good distance. This store is impeccable. It is extremely clean and well organized. They have a great selection of hard to find mexican groceries. Anytime Ive shopped here, the staff has been very friendly and welcoming. I dont think there is a mexican mercado this nice outside of the downtown area. Ill definitely keep coming back.
