Our cars brakes blew as we were leaving Marathon for Fred (the little tropical storm). Suffice to say, we were all a little stressed out and everything was either closed or about to close. Advance Auto is open later than most stores (thank goodness). Both Aaron and Bruce were incredibly helpful, pleasant and kind and trustworthy people. Our experience with them was amazing!!! If you need any auto parts when you are in Marathon, go see Bruce and Aaron at Advance Auto! Thank you both!!!

Less than impressed, here on vaca,advertised free installation. When I asked about free installation was told I could borrow tools. Mind you nothing exotic 2013 f 150 not sure maybe because I look like I am mechanically inclined.

We were visiting from SC and we had a dead battery . Ace was so helpful and even took the time to look at records from SC advanced! He was SOOO pleasant to talk to and made sure everything worked before we left. After he was done installing the new battery, we chatted for a bit. He told us so much about Marathon and recommended some nice places to go. ALL AROUND AMAZING SERVICE!THANKS AGAIN ACE !

Nice,and what we needed. Our car battery died on vacation here. Problem, charged me twice on 2 different credit cards saying first card declined, ran second card and it billed both cards $184.

So they saved the day when life happened when we broke down a few months ago on our way to Key West after an awful experience with the other guys up the street.Once we were able to get the car running on borrowed time we came straight here and boy am I sure glad we did. Super friendly and helpful! Helped me run some tests and troubleshoot some options, borrow some tools, price shop, and even insured I put in for the warranties.In less than half an hour, was able to run some tests and buy everything I needed to do the battery and alternator roadside and get us up and running ...in the rain. LolExcellence in retail.

Brought in a generic alternator. Staff looked at it, did a quick # search and gave up. Ended up going to NAPA...

I have visited this location several times. They have always had what I needed. The stock seems pretty extensive. The associates are knowledgeable. They have even suggested alternative solutions on occasion. This is pretty impressive given its remote location.

BE AWARE OF RETURN POLICY AND WHAT THEIR SHELF PRICING READS AS IT IS FALSE. Not a bad place, they have what you need for your car. However, be careful with returns and what the prices of the items in the store read. I paid $50 for a can of A/C Pro when it said $34.99 on the shelf. There’s some kind of sign up process where they will refund you the $15 online I guess which I have never seen or heard of before. Then I try to use the A/C Pro on my vehicle in the parking lot. The indicator reads “see instructions manual” which ended up meaning I did not need the A/C pro. So I go inside with receipt to return the product but because I opened the directions on the can I guess I voided the return. That in itself just doesn’t make sense. Small businesses like this should take more care and consideration for the consumer and let them return things when I literally brought it back in excellent condition after I paid for it. I will not be buying anything from this store again.

Helpful staff and had what I needed. The store seems to be well supplied and the staff will help you, they even installed my new battery for me at no charge. The parking can be a little tight if they are busy, best to park on the side of the building off the side road then the front.

This store has been newly remodeled and has an incredible stock; much more than it used to have. The staff is fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. This is my first choice in auto parts in the Florida Keys.

I was having issues with my car and Beth took care of me today. She has been the most helpful associate Ive ever had the pleasure of working with at any auto parts store. I recommend shopping here to anyone and will DEFINETELY be using this location for all my parts needs in the future.

Recently renovated after Irma is better than before, carries things NAPA doesnt.

Pretty sad customer service. I decided to replace my thermostat while I did a coolant flush so I looked the part up online. Advance Auto had it in stock for $29.99 and the website said I could pick it up at the store. So I go to get it and suddenly the price is $39.50. The lady behind the counter says the $29.99 is only if I buy it online and pick it up at the store. So she literally told me I had to stand there, buy the part on my phone, and wait for the order to go through which could take up to 45 minutes according to her. So instead of her just selling me the part for the online price, I said I didnt want it, drove back home and got the other $78 dollars worth of stuff I bought about an hour prior and returned it all. I find it hard to believe that making someone buy something online first when they are standing right in front of you is an actual company policy. I will be going to NAPA or ordering online from now on.

Not often I can rate excellent service in the Keys, but the guy who helped me with a new battery was very helpful especially trying all the options on saving me money. The place was relatively busy but no one had too wait too long. The sales associates got everyone through fairly quickly. Ill be back here for sure.
