We always have a great experience at this Subaru dealership. Ryan went above and beyond to help us lease our new Crosstrek in the price range and color we were looking for. Super flexible, always accommodating and very helpful. Thank you, Ryan!
Brought my Subaru in to have a noise coming from the wheel looked at. I was quoted ~$450 for new rotors and brakes, despite recently (
I purchased an awesome new car at an affordable price. It was the right car at the right price at the right time. And the sales representative was very helpful in getting me the best deal for my finances. Thank you Fox Marquette Subaru.
I originally had a 4 star rating for this dealership, however after the service I just received I cannot in good faith leave it at 4 stars for future customers to be mislead. This dealership does satisfactory service, however they will nickel and dime you at multiple opportunities. For example, the installation of a sun visor which anyone can do with a simple screwdriver in two minutes or less (I clearly needed to do this from there beginning), cost me $30 in addition to the clearly marked up cost of the sun visor. Any local, friendly mechanic would do such a job included in the $500 service I was already receiving. If youre looking for just another money hungry dealership, this is your place. If you want to establish a good relationship with mechanics you can trust, look elsewhere. Thats what Ill be doing.
I scheduled my appt 3 weeks ago....CONFIRMED they were going to be open.... Drove two hours for recall work.....received a text message reminder of my appointment an hour before the appointment....on a SATURDAY.....got to the dealership...AND THEY WERE CLOSED!!!!!!!!....I wish there was a zero rating because that is the appropriate score.......cant believe these people have a 4 star rating.....General Manager..Service Manager and Owner should be completely embarrassed ...but Im sure they arent because Ive heard from others the service sucks...
I recently swapped to winter tires, but still needed 2 mounted and all 4 balanced along with an alignment. I was calling all over town trying to get in asap so I didnt ruin my nice tires, Fox got me an appointment in 2 days rather than weeks out compared to almost everyone in Marquette. For that Im incredibly thankful. Everyone was amazing and super nice. 11/10 experience would recommend to anyone! Free car wash also!! 😀
Joe and Tommie made my car leasing experience an absolute dream. So fantastic to work with, totally transparent and honest, and beyond accommodating. Its rare that something as big as a new car purchase is that seamless.
Very happy with my subaru
I am incredibly disappointed in the service I had with Fox Marquette. In January, I purchased a 2016 Ford Focus and was excited to have a newer vehicle that would be reliable. In July, I started having an issue in which the car would not start in some instances. While at an oil change, they diagnosed the issue and got me an appointment a month later. After it was fixed at that appointment, I still had the issue, and it was getting worse. It was an electrical issue that had to due with the starting system in the car. There were times when it took 15 minutes for my car to start, and I would never know if the car would ever start. I brought the car back in and they said they couldnt find anything wrong with it. I did this a few more days as well until I finally left it there for an extended period of time. It was there for 8 days and I was not given a loaner vehicle. As a college student, I need to get to work and class, and not having a vehicle was incredibly stressful. However, the worst part of my experience was the lack of communication from the dealership. I called on a few occasions to get an update on my vehicle and to see if I could get a loaner vehicle. The only answers I got were we dont know and maybe. I left a couple of voicemails that were never returned. I spoke with a manager who said he would speak with the general manager of the dealership to try to figure out why I was not getting any updates on my vehicle or why I was unable to get a loaner... That manager never called me back. Finally, on the 8th day of my vehicle being there, I went to the dealership to find out that they had my car fixed for the last 3 days and they had just been testing to make sure that it starts, even though when I had talked to them a couple days prior they said they didnt know what was going on with it. When I picked up my vehicle, they said it was probably fixed. 4 days later, I had the issue again. I called and the person I talked to in the service department said they would get back to me the next day. They never got back to me and that was 4 days ago. I decided over the weekend that I had had enough of Fox Marquette. 2 months of this issue and getting nothing more than a we might have fixed your vehicle and you cant have a loaner was more than enough for me. I traded my vehicle in and purchased a new vehicle from a different dealership. While I was at this new dealership, I saw customer service that was lightyears ahead of anything I experienced at Fox. I did not hear a single phone call at that dealership that ended with we will call you back tomorrow or next week. They went out of their way to ensure that customers that were on the phone got answers right there on the spot, even if they had to speak to someone in another department. If you are looking for a vehicle or for service, I highly recommend avoiding Fox Marquette.
Extremely grateful for the service I received here this weekend when a quick trip became a 4-day stay. The fuel line on my car was actively leaking gasoline and all auto shops- including the dealership- were booked solid for the whole month. I called and they said theyd be able to diagnose it that day for me as it was an emergency. The shuttle driver, Terry, very kindly drove me into town and back later that day, then to a hotel. Im not sure what I would have done if they werent able to diagnose it that day and if I didnt have the shuttle service. They werent able to work on it until the 21st but I was able to find one other auto shop in town that could do it the 14th- it helped to be able to tell them exactly what needed to be repaired. Thank you, Alex, Terry, and Subaru!
Everything was great! thx espc. to kelsey and tom...made it so smooth n easy and super friendly...leaving a very happy customer! :)
I have respect for Subaru and their business partners. I have yet to find a questionable Subaru franchise.
Professional? Yes. Prompt? Nope. Reliable? Nope. After dealing with Fox in Marquette for 6 years, Im seriously considering going back to reliable Toyota. At Fox Marquette, in my recent experience, no one answers their phone and no one returns my messages. Most recently, my Outback, waiting for repair, was completely forgotten about with no updates, no explanation. Not acceptable. Their sequential computer printouts contradict each other each time I take my Outback in for routine tuneups. Beware.
I normally dont write reviews that negate a business, however if you want to save money and time, do not go here.I have been trying to get our car fixed for over a month. Each time we brought it in, a part wasnt there or they just didnt fix the part that was missing even though they had our car for four hours.Today for instance, we brought it in to get part of the car fixed. They said last Thursday that they would express order the part that we needed and it would definitely be there Monday. Well, after sitting in the waiting room for a half hour, they then decide to tell us that the part didnt come in. Please, to save your time and our time, figure that out before we lose out on a day of work. Use a phone and contact people to let them know the situation. Its a lot better to call people and let them know that you dont have a part or there will be a delay than have them wait for an answer at your store and miss out on work. I understand that ordering parts is probably taking longer than expected but please, just take that extra minute to call the customer. I would most definitely be back if we wouldve got a call this morning, but Ive wasted too many hours sitting in the waiting room and in return, missing work.
For the past couple of years I have gone out of the way to bring my Forester in for service here - they use genuine Subaru parts (mostly) and are usually pretty speedy with repairs, so the extra drive and money has been worth it.That being said, I was pretty disappointed with my latest experience. Work took much longer than expected, a service was performed that I didnt ask for, and a service I did ask for was not performed (probably because they needed to get the vehicle back to me before the 1 week agreement on the loaner expired). They were generous to let me use a loaner vehicle for a week, so I guess thats a plus.Anyway, they diagnosed a check engine light (I only asked for the code to be read), and $150 later, that problem wasnt solved. In the weeks since then, Ive been trying to talk to somebody on the phone about it, but conveniently a phone conversation hasnt taken place. They seem to have no problem getting me on the phone when Im going to give them money...Not sure what changed from my previous experiences, theyve always been great about communication up until now.Edit: was able to talk to management, sounds like there were some real issues getting calls through, perhaps being blocked as spam - and we were able to work things out. So, back to 5 stars it is!Edit again: they never followed through with the refund. Called many more times and wasnt able to talk to somebody again.
Great place Ford Marquette
Came in to look at a Forrester that has recently been traded in. The vehicle had needed an inspection done before it could officially be listed for sale (even though it was on their website). Bill, the salesman, was going to get back to us Monday either way. We had to call several times to get an answer on Monday. Tuesday and the following week and into the next week went by and we never heard a peep from Bill. The car is still listed on the website. In that amount of time we found a vehicle in Wisconsin at a dealership that was happy to help us.
Great service - the parts department and recon group helped me and my family out in a time of need. Great people means great service. Thank you!
Every time I have brought my truck here they say a week or two wait which is understandable. I had a check engine light on in my truck and they told me the soonest available appointment is September 22nd. I understand this is a pandemic but over a month? That is ridiculous
They made buying a new car easy and fun. Thanks Ryan and Tom. Nice new showroom.
Delightful employees.
I just purchased a used Subaru from Fox Marquette and am very satisfied with the way I was treated, their service, and the price I paid. This is the second Subau I have purchased from them.
I really like john he treats me with respect i feel like i can trust him. not many treat a 70 year old woman that way
Staff was courteous and professionalAnswered all questions .Definitely a thumbs up
Josh was very helpful finding us a car in our price range, while also finding us one to get through the UP winters and keep us safe. He was patient, knowledgable, and considerate towards our needs/wants. Will recommend him and Fox Marquette to everyone! Thank you for our wonderful first time buying experience!
Bought 4 tires for my Ford Escape. Got a great deal, they put them on the same day, gave me a ride home while this was getting done and washed my vehicle. I mean you cant say enough. These are Hometown people and are big on community they host a lot of events from giving away free gas cards, to helping out UPAWS they also gave away free turkeys this year. We need more businesses in our community like this do yourself a favor and go here for everything from buying a vehicle to getting oil changes you cant beat them. To top it off thyre always nice and you can sit in there waiting room and have a free snack and cup of coffee while you wait. Hats off great job Fox Marquette. So new update on my review for Fox Marquette. So I followed my own advice and had my daughter get Tires put on at Fox Marquette and she also got a car wash and an oil change. She dropped off the car in the morning hours and went to work Fox kept her up to date with E-mails telling her what was going on and when it was finished. So after it was done Fox went to her place of work picked her up and shuttled her back to the dealership for free. They explained everything that was done and were Professional and very nice. She had a great experience there and her vehicle runs nice and smooth. Thanks again Fox Marquette for yet another great job.
We were notified by mail that our Subaru Forester was under a recall for replacing the brake light switch. We live in Ontonagon, about a two hour drive from the Subaru dealer in Marquette. We were on our way downstate which meant we were going to drive by the dealership so I thought Id stop by the dealership and see if I could just pickup the part and install it myself since there wasnt any openings for several months and its a 4 hour round trip to take it to the dealer. Unfortunately, I was told they had to install the part as part of the recall. As we were walking out the door we were asked to wait a minute. The service manager was told of our situation and asked if we could stay 30 minutes theyd install the brake light switch right then, saving us from having to make a special trip!! Thats service!!! And guess what dealership were going to go to when it comes time to replace our Forester! Wonderful folks! Wonderful service. Thank you so much!!!!!
I had a great sales experience but both times Ive attempted to get work done for warranty or recall the scheduling wait is 3 plus weeks. Makes it very difficult to commit to a date when you live over an hour away. According to the Service coordinator they only have two Subaru technicians. The owners and management need to step up and get some more technicians and people to help on the service side. Again the sales side is great but the Service Team needs help big time.
I would recommend Fox Marquette! Kelsey in sales didnt pressure me, let me test drive the car alone with my family so we could talk privately, and gave me space to call my parents back home so that she knew I was comfortable with the choices I was making. She also didnt run a credit check on me until after I decided that I for sure wanted the car.The finance manager was also super awesome and let me stay for an hour after they closed going over every last detail of the paper work I was signing and answered all of my questions. It was a super good experience and I wish I had went here first before going to other dealerships. It was the best dealership experience Ive ever had!
Yet another bad experience with Fox Marquette. My Ford F150 (that I purchased from them) has a rough idle and dies when I stop. So I called service... the person really wasnt listening to me, and admitted it. He was busy with other things. I told him this is our only vehicle and didnt feel like I could drive it because it, especially because the check engine light was also on. He said he couldnt get me in until July. Over two weeks. I offered to drop it off and let them work it in when they could. He said that was a good idea, but may not get to it. Really?!? So I called Midas... they were also busy but said they would work it in. Go figure, customer service!! Isnt that a novel concept! One of the big selling points with Fox is their service center. But I have had multiple bad experiences with their service department and a real lack of concern.
Advertises quick lane service. Showed up 5-30-2019 to find out couldnt get oil change because theyre booked through 6-7-2019!!!! Asked what slow lane time frame wpuld be they smartly replied the end of the month. Great huh?
I was very impressed with the staff. They were very professional and at all times kept us informed. Im glad they took the time to explain things to us
Was shopping around for a new car and decided to walk in to the dealership to get some information. When I walked in I was not even acknowledged by any of the MANY free employees!! I had to wave over someone and asked to talk to a sales person. The salesmen looked like it was the biggest inconvenience to even talk to me! Will never even think of buying a car from this dealership!!
Very professional operation. I had to replace a transmission on my older Excursion.. Eric the service advisor communicated every step of the way. Eric arranged a nice loaner for us during the repair process. The dealership itself is very modern, classy with a comfortable customer lounge offering all the amenities you could need. When you walk through the dealership all the staff smile and say hello and want to help.
I had a great experience with Fox Motors Marquette. I purchased my first vehicle recently and everyone was such a huge help. Ryan made me feel comfortable and had great patience when it came to me not knowing a whole lot about purchasing a car. Ryan also referred my to a great insurance agency. Everyone made me feel welcomed. Found a great used car!
This time I worked with JR when I brought my f150 in for warranty work. He was professional and courteous. I had no problems like I did when previous warranty work was done at a different dealership. They would have got a5 star but for some reason after thousands of dollars in work and oil change they couldnt wash it? I also didnt like paying for the oil change when they had to remove oil to do engine work.
I had a recall on my Subaru and Fox Marquette took awesome care of me! Five stars.
I payed almost 10k on a car, the first week I had it there was so many issues, I felt the car was never inspected before they sold it to me. The car was a complete lemon, the car was in and out of the shop for weeks, by the time ford would not pay for repairs anymore I had a packet of papers of all the repairs that were done to the car but the thing is the car still needed work, Ford didn’t completely pay for my repairs that I never even caused and the car was under warrenty too, but I 100% wouldve stopped paying for the repairs too because there were so many issues.😂 The car still has issues and probably forever will but I’m not going to the this place just 1 star. Because the staff there is outstanding and helped me so much. But make sure if you go here look and have the car inspected by another shop before any purchase is made if the vehicle “used”.
Great service, very nice show room, free hot popcorn (!!!), personable and non-pushy team. They can find whatever you are looking for--new or used--very fast. Also, I noticed they have a kids play area, which would be great for people with bored kiddos.
Fox motors did a good job Service wise but not one person said hello to me when I came in the service door. I stood there for about 5 minutes. Others came in after me and were not greeted either. The staff was pleasant after they were off the phones but absolutely no reception.
I drove up from Chicago to take my son to school. On the way I had no washer fluid, which is very important with all the sand they use in the U.P. I needed to get on the road early, so I was there right after they opened on Monday morning. They got me right inside, their best guess was the washer fluid was frozen. I had no idea that was possible, but I havent been in the U.P. in January, ever. Eric was right, there was 4 of frozen washer fluid in the bottom of the reservoir. They put the car up on the rack, got the frozen fluid out and replaced it with fresh PURPLE washer fluid. I was in and out in less than 1 hour and NO CHARGE! Eric was awesome. I dont get to Marquette often enough to be a great customer there, but I will definitely be working with new Fox Ford in Chicago. And I will be using PURPLE washer fluid from now on. Thanks Fox Ford Marquette. #thingsIlearnedfromYoopers
Was in a bit of a pinch with my rear brake lamps during a vacation, but these guys really helped me out. Diagnosed and fixed a switch/sensor problem on the spot. Really appreciated it. Thank you Fox Marquette!
You wont find a better dealership in the area they treat their customers right. Excellent service department I am closer to Escanaba but I drive 20 extra miles to Fox Marquette. They have nearly new loaner cars if you need a major repair on your vehicle that takes several days.
We bought a new Legacy Outback 3.6R from Joe Oleksy and the team @ Fox Marquette. It was the second new car we have bought from them in the last 3 years and each time it has only gotten better. Joe is a professional and treats his customers with the utmost respect for both their time and their vehicle needs. This is the kind of guy that earns customers for life. Our new car is beyond awesome! Thanks again to the whole team at Fox Marquette!!
I brought my car in for a brake job and it was now on time and the car seems to be working well. They also replaced a couple of bulbs I did not know were out. Finally, they came out to my car to make sure I understood how my emergency brake functioned. So, my experience was a good one.
I was very well received by Jason & Roy. They both helped me to understand the priority of issues I needed to address with my Subaru.I had scheduled an appointment for a Recall and found several other areas that required attention. Both Jason & Roy were very friendly, helpful, professional and attentive. It was a very busy Saturday., but still quite obvious to me, the atmosphere was not stressful or rushed.I appreciated the time both employees spent with me on a 1:1 basis. I also would like to mention., the waiting area is relaxing with the plasma T.V., comfortable chairs, availability to coffee, soda, snacks. Excellent floor plan which made it a really positive experience. Clean and polished. Thank you !
Ive always had a very positive experience at Fox Marquette. Yesterday was no different except my service consultant went above and beyond. He called to let me know about my car and a service need. When it was later identified that service need was not required he called to notify me and apologize. While I appreciated the apology, I was more impressed that he notified me and I did not have the work that was not required at this time. Mike is always very friendly as well. I couldnt survive without the courtesy ride. Thanks so much for your excellent service.
I had excellent experience with the Sales and Service Department at Fox Motors. They did an outstanding job when I purchased my car and the service department has been great. They have explained everything in detail and are always available to answer questions or address concerns. I cant imagine going anywhere else now!
Words cannot describe how incredible my recent experience was at this dealership. The service department went above and beyond to meet my satisfaction even when they were not required to do so! I say this because not only were they nice enough to move up my appointment so I could avoid having to make two trips into town on the day that I was scheduled to come in for an oil change (I work midnights across the street at Meijer and live 30 minutes away from town) but due to a miscommunication between myself and another dealership down state; they were also kind enough to disregard their own policy and change the oil in my vehicle for FREE anyway when I should have paid full price! All that being said, I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. I cannot thank them enough for their quality of service!
I hate buying cars, but I found something in Foxs inventory that suited my specific needs.I visited and viewed the vehicle I intended to buy, and ended up buying two vehicles.Executing the details was absolutely painless, and thats as good s it gets.
The advice and service weve received from Jason in the Service Department has been outstanding. He actively managed the service to minimize our bill, and pointed out items that could be repaired free under warranty. We use Subaru dealers in other parts of the country, and wish they could be as direct, honest and clear as Fox.
Good product, people, and, if I need it, service. Been doing business there since before they were Fox.
Had a great experience buying our Subaru in the fall of 2015! Our Sales Consultant, Joe Oleksy, was very helpful and made the experience as pain free as possible. One star knocked off for a little too much sales pressure from the Finance department. Glad I did my homework and got them to price match the Subaru extended warranty I received from another dealership.
I had an oil change appointment at 9am and was not able to drop my vehicle off in time. I made prior arrangements with my sales person Al Peterson and he picked my vehicle up at my work and then returned it when it was done. Great Service all around!
Because I drive a lot for a living, it is hard to schedule an appointment for service, but they do their best to accommodate me. Ive come in late because of weather issues, etc yet they are able to work with me - this means a lot. Thank you to your service people!
My vehicle could only be fixed at this dealership. They had my car for 2 whole months, with no indication they were even trying to look at it. They first said it would be fixed in a week. A week passed, and they said 5 more days. 5 more days passed, then they said another week. A week passed, and they still didnt have it fixed. Their customer service rep had a rude undertone, and I was on hold for a long time every time I called, and rarely spoke to the person I needed to. When I did speak to them, they gave the same excuses. Dealing with them was a horrible experience, and I hope I never have to do it again. Would not recommend getting a vehicle fixed here.
Terrible experience, I stop by to Fox ready to buy a Subaru Forester or a Crossttack, ready to spend aprox. 20k for a preowned car, after 4 hrs I was very despoiled, cars all over, the salesman lady was very unprofessional, stop by and spoke with people in the lot ( private conversation ) instead of taking care of the costumers, after presented me a Subaru Forester with a crake windshield and the price of a 2017 Forester is about same is the new one, she did not find keys for the vehicle and show me all type of cars but the one that I was interesting in she couldn’t find, I wood not give this outfit not even a 1/2 star far is rating gos.... If I have to ride a horse Im not buying a car from Fox in Marquette ... totally unprofessional..
I have leased two Subarus from Fox Marquette and have found everyone that I came in contact with was friendly and helpful. The sales person that I used both times, Tom Nancarrow, was so nice--he made the process very easy for me. Since it was my first time going out and leasing a car it meant a lot to me that he explained things very clearly. Then when I took the car back for its 3,000 mile check-up they had given me a coupon for a free oil change and even washed the car! They will drive you somewhere if you need to go while the car is being serviced. I really like Fox Marquette and they always say hi when you enter the building.
Great follow up with questions prior to me ordering my new Subaru. Appreciated the time our sales rep took in showing me all the new features when the new car arrived. Very pleased.
When I drove a Ford fifteen years ago, I started coming to Fox Marquette because of the excellent service. I bought my first Subaru here and am now on my third, an Outback. The first Subaru that Spenser sold to me was turbocharged; it was so fast I kept getting speeding tickets. My ex-wife took the second Subaru to Seattle and never came back. My current 2010 Outback is just right - no speeding tickets and happily re-married. Jason, the best service manager in the business, and Roy, the best Subaru mechanic in the business, tell me that my Outback is good for another nine years. Were all looking forward to the 2023 models.
This was a great buying experience. Everyone we worked with was patient, respectful and helpful. There was no pressure. It was nice to be able to relax and take our time through the purchasing process. We would gladly go back to Fox of Marquette when we need another vehicle!
We have dealt with Fox Marquette for the past 17 years since relocating to the Upper Peninsula. We lease a new truck every two years from their salesman Joe Oleksy & have all of our service work done there. They do a great job in every way. We feel very safe with them & know they will do what is best for us. Being a retired Ford man I expect only the best service & complete honesty. Fox Marquette does that for me. Thanks Joe & thanks Fox Marquette!!
I wish I could give better rating. First problem was Subrau taken in for a recall for brake line. They said brakes were fine a little rusty but normal for up here. So three weeks later I went to visit family and had brakes go out. My husband contacted Subaru and they awarded Subaru bucks. So we used that to purchase snow tires on our Ford truck we purchased from Fox. We made the appointment a month in advance at 11am to have them installed. We took two of our dogs as they are dog friendly. Four hours later we are leaving with our snow tires. If they dont get your vehicle done before noon you will be waiting another hour while they take lunch. While we sat with no lunch because we couldnt leave. We did complain and they couldnt tell us why it took 3 hours to change tires. They did remove labor cost for our trouble. But seriously 3 hours plus the lunch hour a total of 4 hours sitting there. We will drive to another Subaru dealer before we ever buy another vehicle from them.
Fox Marquette provides fast, excellent service at a reasonable cost. People are friendly, and the best Subaru mechanic in the profession works at Fox Marquette. I trust my mechanic! Fox Marquette has a clean waiting area, Internet service, and coffee, tea, popcorn and cookies while you wait. I highly recommend Fox Marquette.
This is the last place on earth to try to do business with. I called three different times today, and was put through a computer calling system, only to be forced to complete a computer survey before I was transferred to speak to a person. I hung up every time. I finally found the local number. I was put on hold, people were rude and unfriendly on the phone. They act as though I am inconveniencing them at all times. No cheerfulness, or gladness to help in their voice. This is every time over the past two years. I was warned by my colleagues to not do business with this store. I should have listened. I purchased my vehicle there two years ago, and would never go there again. It is almost like they hate people, and go out of their way to prove it. I sometimes call to get warranty work done, but usually find it is by more convenient, to go to Green Bay. The folks in Green Bay always have a person answer the phone right away, I always get transferred to another person in service who picks up the right away, and speaks to me as though I am important to them and their business.
Very busy place but everyone is friendly and helpful.
Although we live about 1 1/2 hours from Fox Marquette, we keep going back for service just because they treat us so well: always friendly, easy to get appointments that fit our schedule, loaner car if we need one, doing the little things that make a difference, like including a tire rotation with our oil change because we put miles on our Escape faster than most people. Highly recommended!
Tom and Marty took care of me from my first call, greeting me at the door, to having cars ready for a test drive. Talked about the vehicles I wanted, discussed financing, got the package we wanted and out the door. Painless. Thanks Tom, Marty, and Adam.
Although they are 7 hours away, I will never buy another vehicle from any other dealer. Great service and they delivered the car to me. I couldnt be happier with Fox.
I am completely unsatisfied and so disappointed with my experience so far. They obviously do not care about their customers at all!. I dropped my SUV off 3 weeks ago (my only transportation to work etc..) for it to have a couple fairly small repairs and was told it would only take a few days. I called a week later to see what was taking so long and nobody even had any idea my truck was up there at all. So they started thetprocess that day and ordered the parts that day. Said it would take a couple of days (again) so I pre pay 800 dollars hoping it would speed things up, Im the meantime I had to use money out of my pocket for a rental car since I was told that they did not have any loaner cars (At a car dealership 🤔) another week goes by. And they still have not touched it. So 400 dollars in rental fees later I plead and beg for a loaner car so I can get to work for the rest of the week.they tell me once again that they dont have any loaner vehicles so I had to call off work for two days and explain my situation to my boss but he basically said I I dont have a ride, I wont have a job.. so I take a 500$ loan out to order another rental vehicle and expect I to only take another day or two since that is what I was being told when I was calling wondering what the heck the hold up was. Another week goes by. My truck has about 4 feet of snow on it. No footprints going up to it or anything after being told its being brought in and worked on. I am so completely unsatisfied, now I have no vehicle. No money and probably no job soon because of their incompetence and complete disregard for their customers. 3 weeks later and I am STILL waiting for them to do my simple little repairs.I regret not taking it any other place in the entire world but this dealership. I highly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else for repairs!!!
I found a used 2012 forester on their lot in great condition. I test drove it, talked numbers, and then told them I had to think about it and I’d get back to them ASAP. I called the next day they were open at 8:30 am to tell them I wanted the car. David, the salesman I was working with, was helping me. I told him I had to work a double all day, but asked him what I could do to hold the car. I offered a deposit, to which David told me was unnecessary. He told me he’d hold the keys behind his desk until the 9 am the next day, which was when my appointment was. Well, David conviently calls me right before they close to leave me a message saying they sold the car and there was nothing else to be done with me. I immediately call back...straight to voicemail. I feel cheated, since I offered a deposit and was told it wasn’t necessary. I am still waiting for an apology call for that. David, you claimed you never wanted to be a slimy saleman because you wanted to impress your kids. Unfortunately you have shown me otherwise. I’d be careful buying a car from fox motors. They are exactly the sales service you are afraid of dealing with. They will make a sale before even thinking about customer service.
An hour and a half to tell me what took my local mechanic less than 5 minutes to diagnose. He explained that I would be better off having a dealership do it because of the reprogramming. Made an appointment to have a tire sensor replaced. I explained the service representative the indications and agreed that it probably was the sensor and was told that it would take about 45 minutes. Brought my car in, they brought it into their garage on time. An hour goes by and nothing, I see my car sitting there. I wait 15 minutes and ask what is the status of my car and get told that the tech is looking at it. Fifteen minutes later the rep comes out with paperwork telling me that my tire sensor needs to be replaced and that they can do it for me today. He gave me the quote and oh by the way here is some additional maintenance items for $1000+ dollars that you you should think about taking care of on the future. Missed my meeting because of this nonsense. Rescheduled the appointment and had the sensor replaced. Then they charged me more than the estimated cost for the service and offered no explanation. The only reason I went to this dealership is because they are the only Subaru dealer in my local area. The only way they will get any of my business is if I cant drag my car to the next dealership 200 miles away. Not happy with the service organization.
Stopped at a quick lube place for an oil change. Drove a couple of miles and a cover that goes under the engine fell off. They had no idea how to reattach it. Fox took us right in on a Saturday, reattached it correctly, did not charge us for a fastener or for labor. We were from four states away, so they knew we would not be a repeat customer. These are honest, helpful people. For just a few more dollars, in the future Ill use the services of a Ford dealer where trained technicians know my car.
Considerate, thorough, informative, honest salespeople. Great facilities and waiting areas. This is my third vehicle from this dealership, I will return for my next.
Service frustrations: Booked appointment online, but my notes somehow disappeared from the system, so re-described issues. Some mechanics called in sick, so waited FIVE + hours in the waiting room for diagnosis and repair...one of which was mechanics took a lunch break. I live 2 hours away, so had no option but to wait. Clearly, convenience of employees it put before the customers’. Not feeling the Subaru Love today!
Employess are very helpful.
After being a die hard Chevy owner for 25 years, I just bought a 2015 Forester from Fox. Tom was just the right salesman for me, no hassle, no pressure, just the facts. The dealership was professional, CLEAN, detail orientated and friendly. Everyone took time to meet me and make me feel welcome, answered all my questions, helped with some add ons, and I was out the door a very happy camper. Love the Subaru, thanks Fox Motors!!
No pressure salesman. Gave us what we asked for at a good price.
I bought a 2015 6.7 diesel crew cab with 40,000 miles on it from the ford in Waterford Michigan with a 140,000 miles warranty passed 62 point inspection I drive it for about 1,500 miles and I decide to take a trip up north to visit my dad note you I don’t get much time off as I work 7 days a week during the summer on the way up my truck breaks down on the side of the road an hour away from my dads house I drove to about 1,800 miles on the truck now I have my dad come pick me up pay for the tow bill to get it towed to Marquette Michigan where it can be warrantyed out so I thought as I only got to put 1,800 miles on my truck that I just paid 40,000$ for and paid for warranty on and the head mechanic Mike says he finds paint chips in my fuel system so they cancelled the warranty out now I want to know how in the hell having paint chips in your 12,000$ fuel system is your fault at all but mike seems to think that I somehow put them there so he’s not warrantying it he said that there looks like there is fresh paint around the fuel door accusing me of sabotaging my truck that I paid 40,000$ for and put 1,800miles on now I want to know which dumbass told Mike the head mechanic that painting around your fuel door will cause paint chips to get into your fuel system, now I’m only 20 years old but doesn’t paint half to dry then flake up and be hit with something for it to make a paint chip big enough to destroy a fuel system I think so, because I don’t think anyone with half a brain is going to be 1. spray painting around the fuel door unless it’s a professional and 2. Spray painting around the fuel door without the fuel cap on But with all that said I am now screwed with a 40,000$ truck with a 700$ a month payment for it every month that has a 12,000$ blown fuel system after 1,800 miles that ford and or mike the head mechanic wants me to pay for tell me that wouldn’t make your day!
No I havent purchased a car from them but based on their Subaru service I dont think I ever would. Once I finally get thru to someone, they usually explain how understaffed they are and to try and be patient. Also, dont bother using the website to make an appointment. Apparently it lists openings that arent available, found that out the hard way. Will be going to Silass Subaru from here on out.
They have always helped me out. Great sales people but lately it seems buying a car is impossible due to higher up decisions beyond their control.
Fantastic service. Very honest people. Love it. Comfy waiting room.
I am not a Subaru owner, but I do vape.
The only reason I choose Fox Marquette, aka Crown Motors, aka Advantage Ford is because of the excellence of the Service Dept., specifically thanking Tommy and the service manager, Steve. All personnel at the dealership have gone out of their way when necessary to make the service call friendly, courteous, and informative of all details relating to the reasons for, and the solutions made to my F-150. Also, I would like to praise Steve and Tommy for their sense of humor. The ladies at the front desk of the service dept. were all exceptional in their business relationship with me. Quite evident to me is the close knit, wellbeing, and competency of a Service Department, and overall 5 Star rating for the Fox Marquette dealership. Mr. Norton, Im quite sure you are justifiably proud of your accomplishment. Sincerely, Len Jarrell
This is our 3rd purchase with the Ford dealership. We have always liked the folks at this dealership. Sue was a very sweet lady to work with. There is no pressure and they made it happen where we werr able to drive our Ford Focus off the showroom floor. By the way we love it. It is awesome for gas milege (after driving a truck for several years). As far as service they have always been dependable, Great place to make a purchase!Mr. & Mrs. Mac Woody
Sue in sales and Tommy in service are the greatest! Been buying from Fox Marquette for many years and keep going back! Good communication, which is key to any transactioon.
Had my free oil change done, Amy was very helpful, gave me loner, etc. Best experience I ever had getting oil change. Bought new winter floor mats, received my 20% off and they are shipping to my house for free.
Just purchased a vehicle from them. They agreed to buff and paint some scratches on the vehicle at the time of purchase (black vehicle). Just checked it out today to pick it up and half of the scratches were painted over with a paint pen (you could feel the paint with your finger) and the biggest scratches (across the hood and along the passenger side door) were still as white as before they did the work. They agreed to do it again but now Ive been without my new vehicle for a week and possibly longer.Pro tip: double check all work they do, its not the first time it has happened to me.
They did a great job fixing my car, and its nice to know the work was done right because of how much the workers loved my specific subaru
I was in need of having a faulty seat belt replaced. The belt had to be ordered and the Fox Dealership called me when it came in. I live 90 miles from the dealership and it isnt all that easy to drive to Marquette for service. I had another appointment in Marquette on the 7th of May and I called to see if I could have the new seat belt replaced then. The service manager, Jason Hendrickson, told me that they had a full schedule that particular day, but that he would fit me in. Jason has always been very good to me about ensuring that I can get my car in for servicing with his being sensitive about how far away I live. I always appreciate his over the top efforts at trying to accommodate me.
I recently purchased a new Subaru at Fox Marquette and from the service Ive already received, Im confident I will be treated like family on all future visits to the dealership. Thanks Bill for all of the expert help.
Our Forester was involved in an accident and we took it to Fox to have repairs done on it. The body shop in Negaunee botched the job horribly. There were parts missing, trim not secured properly, and the carpet was not put back in place. They had our car for eight months and couldnt be bothered to do an adequate job. The mechanics at the Marquette location failed to identify a crack in the engine which allowed oil to escape slowly and as a result the engine seized. When we took it in Jason Hendrickson was unhelpful, condescending, and refused to admit any responsibility. After contacting Subaru headquarters directly we were able to get them to replace the engine as long as WE paid their insurances deductible to get get it fixed. I have written off Fox as another company who is only concerned with doing the bare minimum. Do not waste your money here. There are better auto dealers in Marquette who will offer much better customer service and are staffed with competent mechanics.
Friendly staff but iffy mechanics. Not had the best results with them. Its hit or miss on quality work
Brought car in for recalls. Not a problem. Only concern was registering is in garagearea.
I bought my new Subaru Impreza Sport from Fox Marquette and it was a great experience. The people at Fox Marquette are friendly, very helpful and since this is my second Subaru, I knew the Fox Crew when I walked in the door, and they knew me. Im having a great Subaru experience and look foreword to future interactions as we maintain my new Subie.
The service person took the time to listen to the problem and also to explain what was done with the car. The appointment was scheduled in a timely way and I believe the auto technician took the time to do a great job.
Service Department got me in and overnighted my part so it could be installed Saturday morning. Very clean waiting area and showroom. Coffee, cookies, water, and popcorn. Also a desktop with internet, which made the wait go by much faster!
Nice staff, good dealership in general.
Brilliant, saved me a two hour drive by posting the part for free and was less that half of the cost of the other places.
