Clean, well stocked, and the staff are nice, but two problems, the first, parking is great but the leaving is bad, in summation poor traffic conditions. The second is that the location used to have these chicken sandwichs that were hot and near the front, they were GOOD, but I havent been able to get the sandwich in some time. And may I not over state the fact, THEY WERE GOOD.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went in. It had been at least 15 years, but it was well kept, clean, neat and inviting. The shelves were well stocked and I found everything I went in for. They were well staffed and even though they were very busy, they had alot of opened registers and we didnt have to wait in line. I used the self check out. I accidentally rang an item up twice and they were quick to rush over and fix it and friendly about it. We had a preschooler with us and had to use the facilities. They were the cleanest and best kept public bathrooms Ive used in memory. I hope that Walmarts home office takes note. I wish the Walmarts in my area were as pleasant, well stocked and staffed.

This Walmart has a bigger than average selection of stuff compared to other walmarts. Big downside and my wife will no longer go here anymore is absolutely no check out workers. You have to scan and bag your own stuff which took 15 minutes. Based on $15 per hour we should get almost $4 in credit, after all we are doing an employees job.

You have to crawl over pallets in order to get to products on the shelves. If you are looking for books or magazines, forget about it! Store manager doesnt seem to care. Then there are the old folks who harass you when you try to leave, saying theyre going to call the cops for not stopping for them to look into your bags. Which YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO! One guy actually tried to grab me.

I HATE self-service check out and they only have self-service check out. I dont work for Walmart. If I have to work, I need an employee discount. Better yet, open the lanes and let the cashiers be cashiers. I saw a lady who had 2 carts of items...poor thing.

I dont think Ive given any Walmart more than 3 stars. They continue to be the poster child of retail mediocre. Tack on the fact that more rude, foul mouthed, phone using teens are stocking during operation hours, it makes a blah experience even worse.

Many aisles contain litter from other shoppers and staff-- Coffee cups, juice containers opened, and plastic trash litters the floor in the same aisles as your fresh produce. Beware if you desire your food clean.

Produce up front usually fresh. Leadership staff helpful with issues floor personnel couldnt handle.

This store is awful. Bathroom was disgusting. Asked 2 employees about opening full service lane as none were open and they couldnt help me. Went to customer service and they would not open a lane. Only said the full service lanes were coming out. What happens if a person has medical problems and struggle lifting stuff in and out of cart to scan and bag? They obviously dont care. Will not be back here again.

When you ask for help to get anything reordered and put back in stock,especially with sporting goods like a pellet magazine, for a pellet rifle you purchased there, you always hear that the supplier is out of stock. It has been over three months and nothing yet. This is the same problem with all the Walmart stores. !!!

The workers here whenever I come here are always nice no matter what. The customers are evil to this store how they ransack products and leave things all over the floor. The photos are before the wild 😜 ppl get inside.

This store really depends on what day you go and who is working. Some of the people are so sweet, helpful and go above and beyond and then some. You then you have the few who stare at you and offer no help. Ive literally had a few who just look at me while the light is blinking and Im asking them for help and they still turn around to help someone else. I was absolutely so shocked. Some of the employees are just rude and cant be bothered to even say have a good day after a transaction. So for this store its 50/50.

I came in to buy my baby Similac milk & house hold items. During check out I paid for the milk separate from the house hold items. A lady then comes up to me and starts going through my bags that the Similac milk was in. Then asked me if I needed a cart to place the milk in, mind you the cart is right in front of her face ! Then she says I dont see a Receipt for the milk even though she saw me get the receipt out the machine! I felt like she was violating my personal space.

Im not tooting my own horn when I typed this but I walked out of there with a cart full of groceries that I didnt pay for I didnt do it intentionally it just happened because I was running my lips to my old lady soon as I got home realized my mistake I went down to Walmart to make it right cuz you know Im not a thief they were helpful courteous kind told me what I could do to rectify the problem I did it and everything is right as rain I love that place wont shop anywhere else

Im always doing a grocery pick up and the best Walmart for it in Martinsburg is SpringMills the employees there are very nice.

Wanted some help in the material section. No one was there, 2 different associates said they would find someone to help. Waited over 30 minutes and no one showed up to help. Went to electronic to get help, it was announced on the PA System for help. No one showed up. Waited another 15 minutes no one showed up. Left.

Liked everything but self checkout. One suggestion: please have one cashier for checks and think about senior citizens.

This Walmart is going downhill, prices are becoming outrageous, you cant always blame or hide behind C-19, you were rasing price well before that!! The aisles are cluttered with ppl stocking shelves that are rude!!!!! They literally cop a tude when you say ahem EXCUSE ME PLZ., TY not OK..

This place needs alot of help. Dirty unkempt store. Freight all over floors which make it hard for people to get through aisles.

I am never disappointed at Walmart supercenters. Great prices, dependable selection; and we always find something cool that we didn’t expect. This one seems pretty clean and employees are friendly, so it’s all good for us👍🏼

No waiting in line to enter at 2pm. But they are still doing contact cleaning carts and contact points, which did slow self checkout down. The store is always stocking and hasnt totally rebounded from the holidays. This Walmart has many conscientious and knowledgeable workers that keep up with the movement of their products, none seemed resentful when asked were the table cloths were even the guy in sporting goods (other side of store).So this is my Walmart,hard to live with them, now cant live without.

They had what i was looking for but the change over to all self check out is not what i was looking for. More staff ready to help in your search is always a plus instead of technology.

This location is standard to most others, with some departments excelling in variety and stock whereas some do not. However, my recent experience was more than irritating. I was needing assistance in the electronics department in getting an item with an extremely limited quantity. The only worker available to help was with another customer. This was fine with me. Ten minutes passed. Another party came and interrupted the workers conversation for assistance despite my being there. The second party asked for the item I needed and got it. Turns out the worker wasnt even helping the one guest--they were having a light conversation instead.This made me spend 35 minutes and 16 miles driving out of my way to another Walmart that had the same item available.

Martinsburg Walmart does seem to be upgrading their store. It is cleaner than it used to be. Unfortunately, the staff doesnt seem to have made many changes to their customer service. There were at least 3 different staff members that walked past me as I was searching the store looking like a deer in the headlights while trying to find what I needed. Not one of them bothered to ask me if they could help me find something.

I love shopping at Walmart. I go here for Pretty Much Everything I need. Clothes, (sometimes) housewares, Everyday essentials.

I mean, its Walmart. What do you expect? What Im shocked about is how often they are completely sold out of very common items like loaves of bread, cartons of yogurt, tortillas... Maybe I just need to figure out when the delivery from the warehouse gets there but its unbelievable how often theyre out of stock of things. The produce is really good though

I have been in many Walmart stores in different states and this store is by far the worst Walmart or any store I have ever seen. The shelves are a wretched mess and there is merchandise on the floor. There is no pride in this store and I wondered where the heck the manager is? It’s awful. With these conditions I surely would not buy any food on this Walmart. And where is corporate? Aren’t they aware?? I won’t be going back to this Walmart for sure. Very sad...

Its a Walmart. Cheap products and backed up lines are to be expected. Its a pretty average store, though they probably should not be exclusively self check out- disabled people exist, and need to check things out.

Not everyone knows how to use those self checkout and it takes up everyones time..

In the middle of a pandemic it was slightly run down but that to be expected. Received very good customer service from one of the clerks. Prices were very good for what I purchased

I really enjoy shopping at Wal Mart. Just one HUGE gripe...Whats the point in having cash registers when all but two are closed ALL THE TIME, and most customers are forced to check themselves out??? Like alot of people, I spend alot of my money there and I think its ridiculous to have to check my items out. And I dont want to hear its because of Covid.

Order food paid for express delivery at 930am. Supposed to be a 2 hr delivery as i paid extra for it. Went to store to pick it up at 630pm all cold or frozen items are thawed or spoiled.Stay away from this trash heap.

Love the door greaters, but the cashier staff SUCK!! They are rude, unsocialble and them and the floor staff needs to learn how to work instead of always being on thier phones, even customer service.

I came here to pick up a photo center order I had placed online after getting a text & an email that my order was ready. Walking through the store to the photo center, I noticed every area was in total disarray with merchandise strewn all over. The employee at the photo center initially said my order was printed. After searching for 10 minutes she told me the printer was broken and my order had not been printed. I looked around & saw one of my photos on a stack of random other people’s photos. I was given my one photo and told to go online & place an order at another store. The employee said the printer must have broken while printing my photos. I cannot believe no effort was made to communicate with customers that their order was not able to be printed and that peoples personal photos were laying jumbled together on the counter. The photo center was in shambles and no one knew how to fix the printer. I am extremely disappointed after driving an hour to find out I wasted my time. I will never visit this Walmart again or use Walmart photo center for anything.

Its HUGE! compared to other super centers its like double in size. Staff very friendly. Not very knowledgeable.
