I had an appointment at the end of September 2021. The young lady at the desk was professional, kind, and pleasant. She made me feel comfortable as I filled out my paperwork and asked questions. It was a nice experience.The doctor (Dr. Gala), on the other hand, was dismissive of my questions or rushed through the explanations. During the exam, I tried to read letters and was told certain letters were not ever used or that I did not need to read entire lines. I felt less than important and was unimpressed with her “bedside manner.” I have been to other Walmarts but may not return here.

The doctor was so rude. She got mad because I didn’t understanding what she was asking me to do. I will never go back. The employees that helped me pick my glasses were very helpful.

This Dr. was very cold. She rushed me. She made me feel like it was my fault that the trial lenses were fogging up, even though it was her policy I wear a mask throughout the exam. I even said to her after I couldn’t finish reading a line that I couldn’t see it. She responded rudely, “well, it’s the the same line, it’s all the same size!” Although, the right side of my lense was fogging up because she made me wear a mask! I told her I thought my lense might be fogging up and she rudely told me, well, I guess you can check it! She appeared irritated, annoyed and bothered by my appointment. She rushed me and sent me out to the receptionist without any explanation as to what she was prescribing me for my vision correction. No “bedside manner” what-so-ever. I felt like just an annoying, quick buck to her! 100% will NEVER go back!

Lost my last set of contacts and my doctor couldn’t help me until January! I called and Krystal got me in an hour later and now I am back in business! Thank you Krystal and Dr. Gala for the excellent customer service and experience!

Response to the review above..I went to the vision center just a day or two ago and they went above and beyond to find my insurance and What Benefits I have. They politely told me to call the number on the back of my card to find who my “third party” is. It was news to me that the insurance company won’t talk to the staff there! They (the insurance company) would only talk to me, Which the staff told me about initially. The staff was unbelievably helpful. The doctor is so sweet and kind! Best exam I’ve had in awhile. The staff was excellent! Very professional! I will definitely return!

These ladies are just as sweet as pie. Very helpful with picking out the best looking frame and lenses to fit your every need. They will definitely not only put you in a pair of glasses but they will out a smile on your face.

This was for my first pair of glasses - My initial exam started ahead of schedule (almost immediately after arriving) and was very quick! Paperwork was minimal even though I had never been there before. Everyone is extremely professional, courteous, and above all, patient with my questions (especially about finances).The price is quite a bit lower than other local places and my glasses were ready within just 2 days!I usually avoid Walmart buy I highly recommend this vision center :)

I stopped in here on a trip several years ago and got the best pair of glasses Ive had in over 50 years of eyeglass wearing. Carl Zeiss lenses. They shipped then to me in NC, too. Still in great shape, but need new prescription. May go out of my way to get them there again.

Went there wanting to buy glasses had insurance and money the lady seemed like she did not want to help me out the only thing she had to do is call the number on the back of the medical card to see what they would pay for but that was too difficult for them . Their loss never again
