No stars is better. I understand wage increases but everything is DONATED! I can go to walmart and buy a new shirt, pants or cups for LESS. Consignment stores are cheaper, and they will get my business. I went to get a shelf and they wanted $75 for a one that costs $35 at target. This is absurd and honestly greed at its finest.

Ive been eating at this diner for as long as I can remember. It is a nice small place to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I was under the impression that they checked the merchandise before putting it out on the floor. Bought 2 blankets that plug into the cigarette lighter and neither works. Tried them as soon as we got to the car because there was no way to test them in the store. Neither one heated up took them right back in and was told that they dont do returns. Thats fine but if you cant return things then why wouldnt they have checked to make sure they work before selling them. I have to assume that they dont care if stuff works as long as they get your money.

A very particularly organized store. Whether browsing or shopping for something specific it will be simple. I walked out with a bejeweled st Patricks hat and a class 3 reflective vest. Work and play both covered by happenstance.

It says online that they close at 9pm. We got there at 7:30pm. The lady working on 11/21 was INCREDIBLY rude. She yelled about the store closing in twenty minutes, then seven minutes, then the registers were going to shut off when it was only 7:45pm. When she checked us out she was talking to a lady behind us the entire time, ignored us completely, and when I said thank you and have a nice day she just stared at me and didnt say a word. If the hours are different than whats advertised online, thats fine. But I couldnt believe how she acted so inconvenienced to do her job. She works in a retail job, and I can almost guarantee you one of her job duties in writing is to be courteous and at least friendly to customers. She should find a different job if thats how shes going to treat people. I worked in retail for several years and was disgusted by her rudeness.

Theres always something to be found at Goodwill so browse around! Some of the merchandise is very good quality and decently priced!

Wish I could give less than 1 star. The items here are over priced and half of the stuff is missing parts or broken. I could get the items brand new in stores for less than here and its supposed to be a thrift store. Not to mention the staff is very rude and disrespectful. I wont be back

Prices are higher than other local thrift stores. Well organized. Pricing signs need to be more visible and there need to be more of them. Great selections on a variety of items. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

Passing through town. Pretty poor Goodwill and Ive been to hundreds. No public restrooms I was told. Isnt this a law for establishments to have restrooms for customers? Someone here forgot we are human beings, not animals that #&€÷: in the street. Seems people also park in fire lanes here.

This is by far the worst Goodwill I have ever shopped at. The store was dirty and unwelcoming. The prices have increased to an unreasonable amount. The average price for used shoes was $10 dollars and some newer looking shoes ranged from $15-20 dollars. I had a very poor overall experience. I hope this review helps others see Goodwills greed.

Good selection of items. Prices are so-so sometimes… but definitely treasures to be found… and staff is awesome! Sunday and Monday color tag 📍 deal days…update 03/2019...removing a star... Was there for their Sunday color tag sale. Orange was the color of the day. Unfortunately none of the store customers, including myself, was able to tell the difference between the orange and the red grease pencil on items. When I brought this to their attention... They said they were aware of the issue and it was ongoing. They had no plans to fix this frustrating problem. Disappointing.

It’s ok I guess. They don’t have very many baby dolls out on the shelves; though they’ve been saying for years that there are a ton in the back room. I noticed one lady working there, that kept nodding off and obviously high on some kind of drug. Not something I want to bring my kids around to see.

After seeing enough videos of other peoples findings in places like Goodwill, I decided I had to go thrifting myself, checking out this Goodwill, located just down the road from Martinsburg Motel.As to be expected from thrift stores, theres a LOT to look at in here, with clothes being the largest section of the store. Theres also sections for media (vinyl records, CDs, VHS tapes, and DVDs), tableware, and electronics!I came for the last thing, electronics. If theres any small complaint I have, its that this section is so small compared to everything else, especially the big clothing sections! I found a alarm clock that automatically sets its time/date and can project it onto walls, which was a neat, very cheap find!I came back the next day and found a blue scarf and matching sweater, which are both very nice. With how big of a clothing selection that is available in this Goodwill, I recommend it to those that want some “new” clothes for a low price. For those who want to be the next LGR and find cool old electronics, you may want to visit another Goodwill.

They are expensive. Go on Sunday wgen they have certain items for 99 cents. Currently dressing rooms are closed. They are no returns.

I do not think much of goodwill as a company. They are all profit and do not pay their people a good living wage. 8.75-9.50. Ridiculous considering they rake in thousands a day on stuff they didnt pay for. However, the ladies that work at the goodwill on Eagleschool road in Martinsburg are some of the nicest. I have been going there for years and I wish I could say names because these are hard working girls! And extremely helpful. I feel bad the company they work for treats people like they should be lucky they have a job. That is all.

The people that work at this Goodwill are RUDE. Their stuff is overpriced and they will not negotiate the price a penny lower. I suggest going to the Winchester Berkeley springs or Hagerstown location.

Arrived to donate 30 minutes early. While admitting an employee, the manager presumed everything in my car was for donation and told me to drive around back. When he realized it wasnt that much, he permitted me to donate at door, then told me to wait 30 minutes for a receipt........

I shop at this location frequently and the store product has a high turnover which is good because one day I come in there is one thing and the next day so much more to look at. The only negative I have ever seen is the sets of dishes are never sold in sets, they are sold with single prices, I might suggest offering a deal if the set is bought. The clothes are well organized and decent prices, I have gotten expensive clothing name brand for not even a quarter of the retain prices. If you think this is expensive then go check the real prices. So what if they have been worn, but a lot of clothes are brand new as well. This also me a for profit company but they also employee people and have their own factories to train employees to gain experience. They spend countless hours and thousands of dollars helping these people gain experience and make the unemployable, employable. Thanks and Blessings.

The store is decently sized and in a location with good parking, but the prices seem to be much higher than what other nearby Goodwill stores (Hagerstown, Greencastle) charge.

The staff was nice and friendly to us, and made sure we were satisfied.

Not sure why people feel entitled to ask for lower prices. If you want to negotiate, go to yard sales...or hit GW up on the 99 cent tag days or 10 for $10 days. I like the staff here, never any problems with them. I often find high end clothing and many pieces new with tags. The store is busy and they keep it as clean as they can, often dealing with slovenly customers who dont care and throw things on the floor rather than re-hang on the racks. The only issue I have with them is that theres not enough shopping carts. Also wish that there was a GW bin outlet in town. Anyway, I like this store and visit as much as I can.

My husband and I went into this GoodWill the other day and it was very dim -seemed like some lights werent all turned or maybe they were burnt out, the store looked unorganized and it was dirty.The items were overpriced. They had dresser there and was listed for $124.00. Id rather buy one brand new. Its like they want to make money instead of pricing the broken and dirty items for what its worth.Was very turned off by this unorganized and dirty store. Get someone from corporate to help this location.

Unfortunately Ive been trying for two weeks to make a donation but after several attempts to contact this place by phone and leaving numerous messages I didnt receive a return call.I ended up paying a tow truck 190 bucks to haul a perfectly running 2017 Chevrolet pickup to Sterling Virginia at the cars for vets drop off. The truck just passed State inspection and had 44 thousand miles on it. But it was full of other donating items. Clocks clothes a new grill and dining room set in New condition. Anyway I guess they didnt need anything else. Thats wonderful.
