Usually the service is pretty good. The guy sits at the front desk when you walk in is always helpful and nice. When I walked in today, its young with glasses that sit in the office in back that acted as if he didnt want help me at all. Its like I was bothering him he just rushing me to get me out of his face . And might be wrong but he sounded like the same guy when called and if the shop would be open on Saturday he told no and come to find out the shop is open on Saturdays. Maybe I have the wrong skin color for there business.

This was my first experience with J&B Technology. I was highly impressed with the way I was treated and how honest they are! They treat you like family and found things on my laptop that I had no idea that were causing huge issues for me. The owner John is up front when you walk in the door and if he’s not there somebody takes care of you immediately. They are even there on Saturdays making it even more convenient. I love this place and will definitely be back when the need arises!

I had an immediate computer issue. I was unable to gain access to my account at a critical time in my workday. I called J & B Technologies. John quickly sent out a technician. His employee was very knowledgeable and resolved the issue. I have come to know in the last few years that when my computer goes down John always picks up on the call and at once addresses my issue and with confidence I know he will have me back up and running. John is very dedicated to providing the highest level of service to his friends and customers.

We interviewed 6 companies for a new surveillance system. J & B Technologies listened to what we wanted, then sent an installation specialists out to verify what we wanted could be done. Their bid was detailed with what we agreed on and their invoice after the install matched their bid. Their install team was professional and courteous. Ron, our salesperson, stayed in touch during the installation to make sure all was going well. Everyone we dealt with was courteous, professional and worked to give us what we needed, not what they wanted to sell. Good products, good people and a good Business to work with.

My new system is working so smoothly. It took about 3 hours after I had the computer home to have my short cuts, Bob’s games and the new Office under control. I have been a J and B Technologies customer for over 20 years, and have always been treated well. A few years ago I joined the fixed forever program which gave me a sense of security knowing my data would be protected and my computer repaired quickly if anything ever happened to it. I am now on my second computer enrolled in the program. Upon retirement and living on a fixed budget, I decided I didnt need to be enrolled in the monthly service any longer as I dont use my computer for business any more. Boy was I wrong! Just days after I stopped my monthly backup and repair service, my hard drive crashed (and died) and I lost all my data - precious photos, financial documents, and other personal documents. Fortunately even though they allowed me to reinstate the fixed forever service, the data was gone. They put a new hard drive on the computer, and the owner, John, worked with me to explore all possible options for data recovery. We were able to recover most of the data that I had the foresight to store on the built-in Microsoft cloud (even though I really didnt know what I was doing). I realize that I cannot afford not to budget for the small monthly fee in order to make sure my data is secured and my computer is in working condition. I cannot recommend this company more highly
I just wanted to say how pleased we were with your service. Id say Im an intermediate computer user, I used to build my own sites with old school html, and build my own computer towers until laptops became so affordable it just wasnt cost effective anymore.We caught a computer virus recently, and I tried everything I knew to fix it. I called you guys up, and to my amazement got service at our home later that same day. The tech was friendly, courteous, knew what he was doing, and corrected our issue in about 45 minutes. He spent the balance of the hour helping us with other minor issues. I didnt expect that either.He updated some of our programs, and helped me to understand what was going on as he proceeded so I could learn a bit, and keep things running smoothly. He went above and beyond what we expected. I really appreciated him doing that, taking the extra time to help up avoid another problem, but more so that he fixed our issue and saved out laptop. Money is tight for us these days. I couldnt be happier with your all around service, the price, and will recommend you to anyone with a computer problem who asks, and will do so.
I need to share with you how great Bob has been throughout this whole process. I know this hasnt been easy for anyone, yet he has always been more than willing to listen and help fix any immediate issues that needed attention. Hes a great part of your team. You can tell he really has a passion for his job as well as helping others.No doubt well all be better on the other side of this.
John and his staff are extremely talented people. First became a client a couple of years ago, when we had a major system crash on the work computer. They got me back up and running and have covered our computer with system backup monthly since then. Although I promised John that I was going to leave this review in Olde English, I decided not to do so, as I wanted this review to be very clear to everyone who reads it and taken seriously. :) J&B Tech is the way to go for regular protection, crisis situations, and education about how to run your best system. Highly recommend them to anyone!

I rarely leave reviews, but J&B Tech really rubbed me the wrong way. First off, the time and dollar amount estimates were way off. I could understand a nominal deviation, but they were both off by no small margin. The time estimate was 3-ish days and it wound up being over a month. The dollar estimate was roughly $100 off. Then to top it all off, when I finally got my laptop back it was missing screws out of the bottom. I called to express my concerns and was essentially told that nothing could be done. I will never be back and recommend anyone else do the same. The only reason that theyre even getting one star is that I guess technically they did perform the actual repair that I came in for.
I tried to get a chromebook screen replaced there. Told me it was going to be $158 for labor alone! It’s a 15 minute task! The total cost was more than buying a brand new chromebook. I decided to do it myself.
I was in desperate need of a new desktop computer. I had a quote from a company I do a lot of work with but then I happened to be at JB Tech one day for an issue with my laptop. Not only did they immediately resolve my laptop issue but when I mentioned my desktop issue I got a quote right then. It was $150 less (NOT cheaper), a better machine and I was able to get it sooner than had I gone with my original quote. Going to JB Tech turned out to be a lifesaver for me.
I was able to return our home computer to full operation very easily last night. THANKS for your outstanding work! I was especially pleased that you were able to re-populate our “My Documents” folders vice placing the data into an “old file” that can be challenging to search
I took my laptop in to get a hinge replaced, ended up costing over $300 to get all new plastics....and now it wont even stay open (or it flops all the way open). I emailed to tell them of this problem, to which I received a response saying he was basically too busy to respond. Dont waste your money here. I used to love my laptop. Now, Im shopping for a new one...WAY more problems with it than when I took it in.

New Router installed and it is faster than the old one, Bob did a great job! I think my PC had some 77 updates? I think it did them all? Not sure?I will call and scheduled Bob for a return trip to reevaluate and to install new HP Printer when we receive it.Please tell Bob, we appreciate his knowledge and skills to help us... We were depressed with the speed before.
I would agree with other 1 star reviews here. The store does look like the inside of someone basement. I was treated like I was stupid because I was unfamiliar with the jargon. The tech (Mike) actually became irritated when I didnt know what he was saying and then slowed his pronunciation, as if to spell out to a child. I was floored. When I did get my device back the frame was cracked. I am told by another repair shop and a friend who also does repairs that you would have to try hard to crack a frame and that this was either done on purpose or they have no idea what they are doing. Based on his attitude on the phone Im going with the former. Unbelievably underdeveloped social/customer service skills. I guess if people keep giving them money they will keep thinking its okay to treat people with such rudness. No thank you I work hard for my money, I hand it to people who treat me with respect and kindness.

My old J&B Intel computer was fast but the computer that John set up for me is much faster. The Intel CPU is water cooled and the computer is very cool. My question is this: why buy from a store like Best-*** or wall ****? Dont settle for junk but go to J&B for a looksee. They were able to reuse my old case and power supply.

A weird thing happened. I joined an organization that has an important mission to which I am dedicated. No sooner was I patting myself on the back for my good works when I encountered a computer glitch. I was told that some off-site computer service was their solution. I wasnt excited.I now have a new and INVALUABLE partner in J&B Tech and specifically Matthew P. Snyders. I have gone as far as to mention him to my mother and my best friend. Ive never encountered someone who consistently shows such patience and optimism. A guy got into my computer, so I brought the PC to JB and got it cleaned up right away. They checked my anti-virus status, made sure my files were ok and backed up. These guys are awesome! Great, fast service!

We decided to call J&B Technologies after our previous IT company was not solving the problem. J&B immediately jumped in and diagnosed our server problem and gave us a plan to really fix the issue instead of bandaiding. I like the fact that someone answers the phone when you call J&B and they get back to you as promised. Bob Palmer, the tech from J&B, was a tremendous help and really took the time to make sure our drives were replaced correctly and for once I felt someone really cared about what we needed. I would highly recommend J&B to anyone looking for an IT company as they take the time get to the root of the problem and then solve the issue with expertise.

I brought my PC in with a hard drive failure on July 3rd, got it back a week later and everything seemed good. Then it failed less than a week after that, so I brought it back. They’ve had my computer for over a month now, with no communication unless I call them. They’re very flippant about it, like it should be normal to wait over a month for a repair. Horrible service

I came to this place for a $400 switch box (at the time I didnt know what I was looking for exactly). I explained what I was needing and they talked me into some $100 a month program. So for 3 years I spent close to $3600 just so they could pad theyre pockets. They werent looking out for me because if they were they would have just sold me the $400 switch router that I needed in the first place.
John at JB sold two laptops for me. I was surprised how easy it was!
While I had my pc there, I would like to inquire about upgrading the video card as well. I still primarily use it for gaming, so its important I keep the video card updated. Thank you!

I followed the instructions for Mozilla/Firefox and it solved my problem immediately. The cause of it was the auto download of videos in the M/F browser. Once that was stopped the problem cleared up in seconds. Thank you, Thank you. Thank you.Ill still upgrade the pc, but this really helped me out

Im confused as to who is giving the high volume of good ratings. If you click on their profiles (some anonymous), they all live in different states: Texas, Florida, California... suspicious?I stopped by this place a few years ago to ask questions about their services. The staff behaved lackadaisical and bored, and the stench of cigarette smoke literally drove me from the premises.Having new computer issues, I called and asked the price and procedure for getting a new laptop screen. When he gave prices for simply removing the screen in order to get the part number, I inquired as to why I couldnt just get the part number from HP. The staff member actually chuckled and stated that HP is NOT going to give you the part number. Undeterred, I immediately called HPs Spare Parts number. Customer Service was very polite and gave me the part number based on my model and serial number.I decided to give the business another chance and drove there. The main door was propped open, as the weather was good. I cant imagine that computer equipment enjoys 80+ degree weather; I thought electronics needed climate-control and circulation. The smoke smell, while present, was diminished by the open door.I shared with the same salesman my experience with HP, and asked him pointedly why he gave me differing information. He lied and said he only told me they might not give me the part number.I asked some questions about prices, timeframes, etc. Every answer was vague and noncommittal. in the middle of our conversation he answered the phone without so much as an excuse me. I left, and dont think he noticed.As a side note, the website is very professional, and the actual store looks like someones basement mess - not professional.
